Goodbye to our Acacia Tree This is just one of the oldest Acacia tree in our backyard. It's already four decades old, and today those old trees are schedule to cut. My father have decided let go of them for safety purpose because during the strong typhoon the branches of the trees hits the roof and they are afraid that the whole tree might fall too. Our acacia trees has been the source of firewoods for a long time and for other purposes like supports to vegetables. But no worries coz there are still young will retain. By the way those cut trunks were sold to my father's friend and they will be making some furnitures.

I'm always sad when I see a big and old tree disappears... I hope you are going to plant a new one.
Yes we're saddened too but it had to. My parents are always worried when a strong typhoon hit our place.. but there are still young trees planted here..
Four decades or four years is truly amazing. This tree has so many memories to you for sure. 🌳
Acacia trees are everywhere, I like its shape plus its usually tall. I remember how a magtatawas told my mother that she has a white encantada guardian living in Acacia tree. Wherever she goes 😂.
