Good Job! December 20, 2021 Another week has ended on me and I can say that it was terrible and exhausting on my part, doing everything I can for the sake of being a good team player. Let me share to you my exhaustion but don't get me wrong, regardless of hardship, I love every details of it. It makes me a human that is humble to receive all the challenges in the world and in the end, no matter the results it, I don't feel regret of trying. Monday, December 13, 2021 It was really exhausting since we were all busy at work but we need to extend long hours because we haven't recorded something for the talent portion. We had a Christmas party, virtual only, last December 16 and one of the requirements is for each group we need to present a talent. That Monday, all of the work have deadlines and the deadlines are Monday too. How can we able to squeeze to practice our planned talent showcase? Still, after the work has done, we able to start our practice at 7 in the evening, that should be 5 in the evening. We managed to practice a little but our voice are hoarse. It was full of air and raspy. Monday is done. Tuesday, December 14, 2021 We were encouraged to present two from our department. It could be in group or in solo. I was thinking of singing solo and be included in our girl group that we started last Monday but still the voice of yours truly cannot cooperate. I need salabat but I can't find it. We almost give up because during the practice, our kind manager borrowed one from our group because she needs to finish a report. We are five in the group and now we became four. I was forced to do the second voice to have a blending. Two of us are playing the ukelele and the singer supposed to be three ladies, but the other one is still working. Super stress!

Wednesday, December 15, 2021 If we were super stressed yesterday, this is the triple version. Sales gave us lots of work to do due to deadline. We need to deliver all of it to clients by Thursday and Friday. We did some reorganization. The planning for delivery of the deadline items is very challenging. I hate this day, but nope, I will not get affected. I am always happy, but still some mix of hate and irritation but I do not entertain that kind of feeling. We started our practice at 7 in the evening. We cannot pick from what we ended last night. While practicing, sales called and they are requesting for something and it is urgent. We decided to give up because the odds are against us. It is easy to give up but when you think about the effort you started, you will have second thoughts, yet we had a little meeting and we need to have a unity about it. After the meeting, everyone decided to pursue it. We stayed until 11 in the evening to finished practice and recording the video. It is hard to record a video because of all the mistakes we could be doing, but anyway we can use it for the blooper side. I went home before 12 midnight and need to start my other job online.

Thursday, December 16, 2021 It is the party day. It was virtual party by the company. Bad news, we didn't win. Our talent showcases nothing or there is something wrong with the judging thing. We sang KLWKN by Music Hero and we sang it wholeheartedly but still the judge didn't see the passion and rather chose the one that sing live. It is a bad news, but not a bad day since the CEO of the company advised he will give 5k additional bonus for us. Everyone is happy. I badly needed it actually! Friday, December 17, 2021 All went back to normal, we became busy, business as usual, meeting the deadlines, talking and rearranging, like nothing happened. Our big effort, regarding the talent performance, was down to drain but we were just laughing about it. Maybe they selected the best of the best, maybe we are not the best yet we love what we performed and it was the best for us.

The Lesson Yes, there is a lesson for it. One is you need to prepare for something you want to do. If you want to excel or be great, preparation is the key. Second, regardless of your effort, there is still someone greater than you. There is someone much better and gave their effort thrice the effort that you gave. Third, even if you give your best, someone will still not choose you. It is all about their decision and we can't control it. Fourth, don't expect much with people. Even if this person promises you something, don't expect them to do it because they will not. Allow them to decide and don't feel bad about it. Fifth, if you know you did your best but the result is not what you expect, you did a good job! It is still a good job, so tap yourself and say, Good Job!
