Change your thoughts, Change your life - Lao Tzu December 27, 2021 Christmas just happened in a snap and I realized I had changed. I think I was successful in changing my mind or maybe something brought me so much happiness in the middle if this year that I don't envy anything, I just lived with it and I don't feel any jealousy with people at all. What i'm talking about is the Christmas celebration. Before, in my worst attitude being jealous with rich people having festive food preparation during Christmas, I hate browsing Facebook to see what is my friend's food preparation. I hate to see people having Family picture and wearing same color of clothes. I hate to see a Christmas tree full of gifts. Instead of feeling happy for them and be fascinated my anger is building up. I even slammed my phone in my bed before.
I envy people to the point that I feel sorry that my family don't have anything. We have Christmas tree but it is just simple. There were gifts but the number is nothing compared to my friends. We have foods, but we only have 3 dishes and others are festive. I know there is no reason to feel envy but I feel it. I hate them and that's very immature of me. I started to feel that way when I begun active in Facebook. Everyone has its success and happy stories yet me, I dont know what to share. I sometimes shared a good news but only 3 people liked it. I also tried sharing our food preparation one Christmas eve and no one liked it. That post was abandon and out of place. That starts me from hating any Christmas post.
I think if you vibrate something negatively, it reflects on the way you comment on their post, because one time I commented on a friend's post about Christmas good news and I said she is obviously bragging it. She won in a raffle and she always win in a raffle based on her post. I told her she is showing off with a laughing emoji and she replied asking me what do I mean. I want to reply but it could cause commotion for sure so I rather not reply to it. That time I realize I am showing some irritation and that is becoming bad. Instead of entertaining the bad feeling, I hide notifications to those people that stresses me out without their awareness. Then and there I realize I am not happy that is why it is reflected to the way I comment on a post and to the way I feel everytime I browse Facebook. I don't know when it started to stop. That is so old of me. I am not sure if it starts in 2020 that I appreciate any happiness people are sharing in their post. I don't put any comment or sometimes I leave one, but I always heart their post about happiness and success. I also follow inspiring people, bloggers, vlogger, and inspiring Facebook page. By being active on this inspiring platform, it changed my mind.
Also, I follow any happy, funny, learning, inspiring and good news trends on TikTok. I started to be happy with people that win in a raffle. I begin to congratulate them genuinely. Just last year, before Christmas, I did it with some of my officemate. We had an on going raffle and I keep sending my congratulations to them when they walk towards me, and then one minute I won in a raffle too. Being happy genuinely, like you really mean it, has an attraction. If you are happy for other people's happiness and achievements, it will happen to you too. Start of this year, I learned that a good friend got promoted in her company. She had been there for a decade and I wish her all the best. When I saw her post in Facebook, I immediately commented "you deserve it" and she replied on that comment saying, "shout it out to universe sis and say thank you". I literally did and I felt happy. After 9 months, the long awaited promotion happened to me too. It is like attracting others success that are hidden in your message of happiness for them. It is like wishing it happen to you too. When you are happy and you are sharing your genuine happiness, there will be lots of happiness and surprises in store for you. This year, I was not busy browsing Facebook anymore, but I just greet them Merry Christmas to what post they are sharing. Some people doesn't have anything, they share it to their post and now, I am the one uplifting them. I make them feel that regardless of what they have, all of it is a blessing. What matters is that you are alive.
Truly, the message if Lao Tzu is true. Change your thoughts, Change your life. Absorb happiness and it will happen to you. Be happy for someone's achievements and you will achieve something. Uplift someone and in the future someone will uplift you too. What you give to others, you will receive it too. Before this end, I want you to know that my sponsor have always been supporting me that is why I want you to see them one by one and support their articles too. I am blessed to have them.
