5 Things I Learned In Life that I Apply

LIFE is getting harder when you're older, is this right? I thought I would be easier because you're wiser? There are lots of things happened in my life, I know in your life too. Because I have been to too may troubles, problems because of wrong decision, accidents, sickness, and anxiety, I do have a basis of what kind of attitude I will wear everyday. Tough times made me tough. Let me share 5 of what I learned in my life that I apply everyday.

You can keep 1 or 2 friends, Quality Over Quality I am not sure if this apply to all of us, but because I am introvert, it is quite hard for me to socialise. I am friendly and always nice, but to be honest it's tiring for me to talk on the phone, chat, or going out with friends. Don't get me wrong, I do that, but it's tiring for me. I have lots of people around but I only give my heart to the closest people that have proven their worth and my trust. I am blessed to have two people. My human, my punching bag, my spongebod shock absorber friends, that no matter how I push them to leave me, they will stick to me. They are there both worst and the best of my life. It is good to have lots of friends, but your secrets, your weaknesses, your true identity (lol) and anything imperfection must be shared only to the closest people in my life. Okay If you have more than two, it is fine as long as they are worthy. There might lots of people around you, yet you are bit sure If they act the same at your back. It is uncomfortable if you are always playing safe so it is much better to have someone you could truly trust.

When you don't have nice things to say, shut your mouth This is the reason why I try to be quiet when everyone is talking. I am more of a listener that the talker. However if they are my closest friends I talk a lot. There are lot of incident that I got in trouble because of my big mouth. That was when I was younger and thought that it is alway okay to voice out your opinion. There are people that get offended. I usually says, "you look like depress?" or "you look like an addict, comb your hair" with a big laugh after. For me it is just a joke, but I do not realize that the person who look like depress is really depress and whenever she is reminded of that she is diving to depression more. I made her more sad when I only knew I was joking. The person who I blurted look like an addict have not enough sleep because she took care of her mother in the hospital. She haven't taken a bath that is why she looks like her worst. She just smiled at me, but I felt really bad about my joke when I found out her mother was ill. How can I take back my words? See? Words are like sharp knife that hurt someone and those words are those that is not easy to forget. Now, I am careful with my words. I am still prejudice you know, but I judge them inside my mind. I do not say a word.

Always be Kind and Helpful I remember when I was at my worst, my family needs money because my father is in the hospital, year 2017. I have an officemate who always check on me while I was in the hospital. I share to her what happened to my father and what we are going through. I told her we badly needed money and ask her to pray for my father and family to surpass everything. After our call, lots of officemate called and textede too. I learned that they are asking everyone to donate money to help us with hospital bills and medicine. My father didn't survive though, but still there are people willing to help with finances. We survived it with the help of those people. I called this officemate of mine after my father's burial to say thank you for helping me. I even asked her why most of our officemate helped me. She answered, "I told them that you are always there when I need money". I remember I always lend her money because her salary has big deductions because of her loans and she needed milk for her baby. Another officemate said that I always compliments her in the morning that it made her day. She shared I always have something nice to say to everyone so they appreciate me. That is the reason you need to be kind and nice because you lift someone's heart you never know it becomes a good karma to you. I am not aware that someone's life change with me being kind.

Take care of yourself You only have one body and one life. You are unique, no one is like you. If you are gone someone will be truly hurt. Also, it is not good when you feel ill. Feeling ill makes you feel useless. You cannot do your plans toeet your goal. If you do not take care, something might happen that will surely make you feel bad. I realize this when I got Covid19. I thought I was strong. I apply all the protocols, washing hands, face mask, face shield and maybe sometimes, social distancing. Oh, I think I slide on the social distancing part at the office. Today is the first year anniversary that I got the results of my RT PCR test. I am positive with Sars Cov2. I got the symptoms before my swab test that is why I feel that I will be positive. After the result, I don't any symptoms at all. Depression strikes immediately after the swab test, prior to the results. I was watching Dream High, a Korean series at Netflix and I found myself crying. I realised I made a mistake.. This mistakes lead my family in danger. I am glad they are all negative Isolation leads to depression. I learned my lesson and I am now talking care of myself. Do the same guys!!

Don't Feel Bitter About Money Oh, I know it's hard. When you've done a mistake, like you overspend, you join in a ponzi scheme that the earnings are good to be true, then wala, wala na pera mo! (then you're money are gone). I am not sure with the amount, but as the old people saying, (I am not sure who's those old people though) don't feel bitter about it. You just made the wrong decision but surely the money will be earned again once you accepted your faith. Of course, you will work double time to bring back what you lost. Money will always come back and you will earn it again. It maybe not fast, but you will. It happened to me. If you feel bitter, you will look like a frog. Sorry for frogs that will be offended by this, I don't wish to offend anyone. I apologise in advance froggy frogs. No kidding, once you feel bitter, you are negative. It is hard to move on when you have negativity all over. In moving on, with acceptance you can only free yourself and start over.
