Watch it "your mouth"

I am sorry for not being active for some time now life has been so tight lately especially here in Nigeria I don't know about other countries but here in Africa someone just have to face it squarely if not you are going to lose it.
In life, there are some certain things we shouldn't keep our hands on or put our mouth into some situations don't just come but because we have chosen to overstep where we belong then the consequence is the situation we find ourselves in.
For instance: someone was talking about another person which you know talking at the back of that person might bring trouble but because you can't just stay on your lane you added your opinion because you can't mind your business you join the talk and at the end of everything the person started fighting you because of what you contributed to his or her matter.
A man selling phone accessories branch to buy sachet water then he heard people talking about cultism then he joined the conversation and contributed his own as if he was invited too after he left what he said at that spot catch up on him because he talked bad about them not knowing some of those guys there belongs to cultists so in the night it was said that those guys went trace him to his house and he was murdered.
Why can't he just buy what he came for then leave you see this our mouths can actually out us into trouble without us knowing.
And a lady who had an agreement with her landlord on what to sell which some neighbors came to her shop advising her on how to sell what her landlord's wife is selling too got into trouble, a guy asked why she's not selling some certain things lady replied to him that she had an agreement with her landlord that anything his wife is selling she won't sell it then the guy replied again and said: this is Lagos so don't let anyone control your market for you.
They discussed this before the landlord and his wife came back from work but only God knows how the landlord heard about the matter because he wasn't around at that moment and am sure it was one of them that went to deliver the message for him.
In the evening the landlord came to ask the lady why she was discussing his matter with everyone that comes to her shop and she said it wasn't like that truly she didn't say anything when those guys were talking but the meeting was held in her shop.
Why is it that some people can not just mind their life?
Why is it that some just love to look for trouble for themselves?
Why can't some just keep their mouth shut?
And why did some like to talk about another person's problem and leave their own hanging?
This guy in question doesn't look like a rich guy to say after all he's rich that's why he wants to fight for another person, you left your house to buy something then buy and leave but no he chooses to poke nose into another person's issue.
After the landlord finished talking to the lady he bounce back on his head and then abuse him along with his parents and the whole street scattered everyone was just fighting and shouting just because of one single statement "**why don't you sell fish**" assuming he mind his business the man won't have anything to do with him not to talk of abusing his family.
That is why I said some situations are happening because we couldn't mind our business assuming he doesn't talk he won't end up in a police station because he fought with the man's children and they injured themselves badly.
It is not like we all can't talk or say anything we want after all there is freedom of speech but sometimes it's better not to say some things to avoid putting us into trouble because this mouth can save you and it can kill you as well so be mindful of whatever you want to say or the conversation you want to join.
It is never too late

***It is never too late until you believe it is too late, never say it is too late before it's get too late for you.***
Back in the days when I was in the village with my mum, she always tells me that there is nothing too late in life so get up and look for your bright future, but because I don't understand those words it doesn't freak me out.
Then am always lazy when it comes to going to school and house chores, am the kind of person who doesn't like to do house chores when I was little, and then when my mom beats me I always thought she's just punishing me for nothing.
This is how I normally do at home back then, a lazy girl will always sleep early and wake up late and then get up from bed I will go outside to see if people are going to school instead of me preparing for school
Another thing I do often is that I don't like doing my assignment when I come back from school because a lazy girl will never think of doing assignments after school all I will do is to wash my school uniform and watch movies after school, and my mom always tells me that you are just neat outside but you are so dirty at home but it doesn't have any effect on me, a lazy girl like me don't mind all that at all.
So in the morning when am awake I will check first if people are going then I will now think of how to do the assignment I was supposed to have done yesterday after school, but then my mom will always say something that "ole darun" English (lazy being) but I don't even mind her since I love being lazy
So whenever I woke up late I will tell her mom I will Wash the plate when back from school and she will be like 🙄if you don't want to be late for school then wake up so early so now it is never too late for school come and Wash plate first, aww then I always think maybe she's not my real mom because she should have allowed me to go to school first and when am back I will do the house chores

But I never knew she was teaching me what will be useful for me in the future, then I always get angry and moody because she won't allow me to school if I don't finish sweeping and washing plate, and am aware that I will be punished in school for coming late
*Later I understood my mom that she won't allow me to leave the house without doing the necessary work so I began to change little by little,*
**firstly** I make sure my assignment is been done after school so that it won't keep busy in the morning, and I stopped check if people are going to school or not all am after is to do the house chores and leave the house, because even if am lazy for school my mom won't allow me to stay back at home so I have to go, that one is a must.

**Secondly,** I always iron my clothes (uniform) down in the night before going to bed, because I don't like my school uniform been squeeze at all.

**Thirdly** I always sleep so early so that I will wake up before anyone and do all-am supposed to do at home.

Then when my mum began to see some changes in me she now said something that I will never forget, she said "any lady who is clean outside and not inside of the house is the most dirtiest girl" this was very heavy on my mind because I do not forget that word till date.
And now I don't regret the change at all because now that am a mother there is a lot more to do at home and for my boy as well.
***My conclusion is that the impact of a mother in a child's life is more than what anyone can ever imagine.***

***Hello everyone how was your day today? Am here again to continue my story from where I stopped which is me deciding on what to do about the pregnancy.***
**Bold step**
I choose to have my baby because I remember what my mom always tells me when I was still in her house, she always said "omo se koko" English (children is very important), so I took the bold step of having the baby even though I knew I was going to suffer it a lot and this was how the journey of motherhood start for a little girl.
**Motherhood**
The pregnancy was just 3 months then and a lot started to happen like morning sickness, vomiting (sometimes) oversleeping, tiredness, laziness, etc but then the lady I am staying with got me a job (cleaner) in a hotel but the manager never knew I was pregnant if not he wouldn't have giving me the job.
Unsplash https://unsplash.com/photos/Iu6parQAO-U
I worked for a month before the tiredness never allow me to wake up early and prepare for work so I began to go to work late and my supervisor keeps warning me every day, so one day I went to the manager's office and confess to him what is wrong with me maybe he can have mercy on me and to God be the glory I found mercy from the manager's eye because he was surprised that how could a man did that to a little girl like me, so he pitied me and allow me to do anyhow I like at the hotel
Sometimes he always bought food for me and I always thank him for the kindness, and even sometimes he always followed me to the clinic where am doing antenatal, at seven months I couldn't do anything than to sit and watch whatever that is going on at the hotel, I can't bend down again so I don't clean anymore so my manager asked me to bring my CV so that he can fix me into one post that I will just be sitting and doing nothing.

When he saw my secondary school result he was so surprised that my brother could let a brilliant girl like me fall into this kind of big mess in my life, so he promised to take it up from where my brother stopped and that was how we became so closed, all I do at the hotel is to write down how many rooms people used per day and close as early as 6pm.
Mine month of been pregnant, hmmm well let me say this prayer before I continue "every woman will never mourn over their children ijn", the reason why I say this prayer is because of the pain woman always went through from the day of being pregnant and the worse pain of screaming for the baby to come out.
I was at the hotel when I just heard 'pah' on the ground, my water broke then the baby started struggling to come outside, I don't know when I started screaming and shouting even people that want to Lodge into the room were distracted by my loud voice, I don't know how I got to the hospital but I knew I was taking to the hospital
After some minutes that I got to the hospital and the baby didn't come out the doctor called the person that took me to the hospital (my manager), that I can't push the baby by myself and he asked the doctor what is the way forward because nothing must happen to me
And the doctor asked where is my husband so that he can come and lay with me there because that's the only solution to my problem, but then my manager lied that he's not in the country, at that moment I remember to call Jesus because I know HE is the only one that can come to my aid at the moment, so the doctor said I should do exercise a little bit and I quickly jump up and start to walk up and down though it wasn't as easy as am saying it right now but I stayed strong for my baby and I did it
After 30min of doing the exercise, I couldn't hold it anymore and I called the doctor that the baby is coming and was taking to the delivery room, but what surprised me most is that I don't know what happened later after I called the doctor, because my spirit is no longer in my body and all I want is for the baby to come out.
Finally, the baby is out yeh... it's a bouncing baby boy

Well I think this is where I will stop for today because my life story is enough to write a script and if I say I should continue then am sure I can't finish writing it tonight
We shall continue tomorrow, thanks for reading

*I said in my last post that there is more to write about me, yeah there is, and am so sorry for bothering you guys with my story but I never think of becoming a blogger, writer, or been here but I think it is a privilege and opportunity for me to be here so that I can share it and let it go.*
I read a post of letting it go @George_Dee today talking about letting some things go, so I believe me been here is not by accident but by the grace of God so that I can say it, share it, and let it go I mean my past
***Continuation***
After the day that we went to the occasion(club) and then the next morning that I discovered that he took advantage of me being drunk, well on that aspect I believe it was my fault because if I wasn't drunk he wouldn't have had his way with me probably I will run away from his house but I was tempted with the alcohol and since there is no one too cautious me not to drink then I drank till am drunk (bad experience of alcohol)
***The deepest part of the story***
After two months, hmmm I just discovered that I don't feel good like I use to do before, I sleep too much, I eat too much everything I do I always overdo it well as a girl who has no one to talk to I was worried and then I asked out neighbors what could have made me feel that way then one of them went into her room only for her to bring pregnancy test kit for me.
Then I told her I don't know how to use it because I have never seen it before, so she helped me to do the test only for me to find out the I was pregnant and I was shocked because I don't know that once can turn to pregnant then tears flow from my eye and I went inside my room
All that was running through my mind was that if my brother haven't sent me away I wouldn't have gotten here now what do I do? and how do I handle this on my own?
I was only 18years I don't know what to do about the issue when he came back (boyfriend) and I told him about it guess what he said? Oh no we didn't have an agreement of getting married and I am not ready to be a father yet so find a solution to your problem ok, then he left the house without saying where he was going.
***Confused girl***
At that moment I knew I have been dupe because there is nowhere to go but I took a bold step to run back to my brother maybe he can at least pity my condition, on getting to his house I only met his wife and she told me that my brother has traveled out of the country and she can't take me in with my condition.
Then I told her to help me find the solution to my problem because I don't know what to do, she said "lo se danu" English (go and abort it), I knelt and beg her to give me money so that I can go back to my mother at least my mom can never push me away, but she said she just paid her children school fee and she doesn't have a dime on her

***Sometimes girls suffer because people they look up to as a family and mentor failed them.***
It was then I realized that life is hard because on getting home this so-called boyfriend has already helped me to pack my bags at the entrance of the door and neighbors too are ready to watch me beg and cry for mercy from him when I got home I just picked my bag as if I knew he was going to do that to me so I didn't bother to beg him.
Unsplash https://unsplash.com/photos/OYqSDS-CDjI
I just accepted my fate and carry my bag then stepped out of the compound, as I was going on the street someone was running after me shouting my name,:-grace! grace! grace! But I was lost in thought of what I want to do and where I want to go, she just held my hand from the back and said wait, hmmm
It was one sister I always greet whenever I want to go and buy something besides our house and she asks where am going then I explained in tears then she said: can you stay with me? I never think about it before I answered her, yes then she took me in and gave me food and I relax as well.
After I finish eating she now asked me what I wish to do about the pregnancy then I told her I want to have it and see what a baby looks like then she said ok but you will have to work before your belly start shooting out, then I said yes I will
In my next post, I will talk about how carrying a pregnancy for the first time feels like, thanks for reading today's episode
Introductory post

Good evening everyone
My name is Grace am a Yoruba girl from Ondo state, am a graduate from the school of health, I studied environment. I did almost all my life in Ondo state while I was living with my mom. I finish my secondary and primary school in info before moving to Lagos to complete my studies.
When I moved to Lagos I was living with my brother (my mom's junior brother) and his wife along with two kids named tomilola and tiwalola, I love to call them Tee, and I got to Lagos there was nothing to lay my hands on so am always at home taking care of my brother's children.
This has been my work for good two years and my brothers always tell me not to worry that I will get work then am rest assured with her words and meanwhile if I want to look for work by myself I don't think it will be successful because I don't know anywhere in Lagos then.
An idle hand they say is the workshop of a Satan, then since I don't have anything am doing all I do is to take care of the house and kids after taking them to school I always branch Cyber Cafe to browse since am jobless nothing to think of back then.
So I got to know my boyfriend from the cafe and since I now have a boyfriend I no longer think of working no knowing that am wasting my future from my present life. I always visit the cafe to chat online for some house before going to pick my brother's children from school and both my brother and his wife always come home late at night I wasn't bothered in fact am always happy because I would have walk all the whole Lago before they back from work.
Until one day that my brother's wife came home early and she didn't meet me at home, then when I returned I just met my bags outside the gate but I stood there to wait for my brother so that I can enter into the house. But when my brother came he first gave me the worse beating I have never received before in my life and sent me away from their house telling me that his wife doesn't want me around again.
Then I cried to me my boyfriend that I know nothing about so that I can have a roof over my head since I don't know anyone in Lagos and I don't have a phone to call my mom that his brother has sent me away from his house.
My boyfriend took me in that night and that's how we started living together after 2 weeks he helped me to get a job in a factory where they produce attachment so I started working and saving for my school because my eyes got opened after my brother sent me packing in the middle of the night and ever since then I have been struggling for myself so that I can survive and show him and his wife that am not a failure and to prove them wrong
***There is still more to know about me but I will talk about it in my next post kindly take me as I am and I hope am welcome here***
*Thank you all for reading my first post*.
