Dropping out of school: A considerable option Good morning readers, I hope y'all slept well? I did too actually, I'm sorry for changing the time at which I post on a norm. Someone suggested that I stopped posting at midnights, he said it makes me look like a nightcrawler ππ... people with their beliefs tho, but I could also reason with him when he said that the chance of me getting involvements on my post would be low at midnights compared to the day because everyone is expected to be sleeping and that one was relatable irrespective of the timezones, we are almost the same thing but I guess that's not what I'm writing on today, let's get to business... You all must be wondering what's wrong with this girl this morning, why I just have woken up and the first thing that I'm thinking about is to dropout, that's really awkward and I know that too but what can you expect from someone that read all night and what she read hasn't been showing forth and I just come here and earn cool cash within hours. The Joy I derive on read.cash is incomparable and it doesn't take all my time like reading does... How many of us have really taken our time to think about what the future has for us, as for me, I have. but I find myself in a country where the president has the mind to tell youths that graduating with a first class doesn't guarantee you a Job and this is really discouraging. Sometimes when I think about this, I'm left handicapped because I just conclude that at the end of the day education is important because being an illitrate is also not good because I still need school to learn how to write. Imagine you have to read my articles and I don't have a good writing skill, I'll probably not earn on read.cash but unfortunately or fortunately, all these things (writing skills) are learnt in the school. Reasons why I'm still in school; Exposure One of the few reasons why I still tend to remain in school is to be exposed and move at the same pace your mates are moving, no doubt, Education is the best legacy and that's why we have a lot of people in school regardless of age and status. I then ask myself a question, can't we build our legacy around something different. Not everyone that goes to school really succeeds from what was taught in school, it still depends on the amount of time you dedicate to build yourself based on whatever you have been taught previously. Parents mentality I'm from Africa, Nigeria to be precise and I know you must have heard of how kin our parents are about education, we all agree that it's a good thing to be educated but we also tend to forget that we have uneducated rich people and the irony of it all is that these people just seized the opportunity they had and even though they are uneducated, they still employ graduates. Business management I know that most of us might not really agree with this point and that's because we believe that we can also learn business management in business schools, no matter where you learn it, you're still in the process of education. We all need this information on how to help your business grow and it doesn't matter if that's the course you put in for or not, we can take online classes. It is really important to do so. Connection This is another big reason why I'm still in school, in this particular country where we are always being intimidated by people in the authority, you need a counterbalance and that's where connection came in from, you need to know people holding influential positions in many places actually so that you won't be limited to just someone. I can remember vividly when some officers tried to extort from us, my Dad just had to call his friend who happens to be the boss to their boss. You could really see the fear in his face as he waved our car to pass. No one really wants to lose their job β Enlightenment β To get certified β Socialization This is not an advise to drop out but my own view on the matter because there are basically a lot of things you can do even as a drop out, not everything requires book to start. we have; ΒΆ Digital marketing ΒΆ Affiliate marketing ΒΆ Forex trading ΒΆ Crypto currency list of Dropouts that still made it in life, just like I said earlier, this isn't to instigate your decision to drop out of school as I will not be liable for any damage caused by your dropping out of school but for real, school isn't for everyone and we need to understand that, if not, there won't be a specific direction to which we are headed in this life because a lot of people don't still know why they are in school yet. Henry Ford (dropped out at 16 now owns Ford motors) Bill Gates ( dropped our at 19 and now the owner of Microsoft) Mark Zuckerberg ( dropped out at 19 and now the owner of Facebook and other social media platforms) And so on and so forth Read and enjoy πβ€οΈ
Culture #4 29/11/2021 Good morning readers and writers here, my three to four days I've used on this platform has really meant a lot as I have been able to say my mind. I was welcomed to the family like I was known before and there's no form of discrimination here, People are really good here and I pray this is how it continues because that's the only way our world can move forward. Let's take a check on my sponsors block Culture is basically the way of life, we can say it is the way a group of people agree to live their life. Culture has something to do with race and generation. More so, culture according to the English dictionary is "the ideas, customs, and social behavior of a particular people or society". Culture is a really broad topic to talk about because it basically touches every point of the human life, our religion, food, dressing, language, and even our belief. I am going to narrow my article down to the Nigerian culture because of how broad the topic can get. Basically in Nigeria, we have a lot of cultures in Nigeria, we have the Efik, Edo, Fulani and co but of all the cultures and over 250 ethnic tribes that we have there are three fundamental cultures that I'll be talking about today. *1. The yorubas* The historical of Yoruba culture is really an interesting topic on it's own and Maybe I'll be able to write about just that in the coming days, it consists of the folks and cultural philosophy. Food Even under the Yoruba culture, we have different types of people that love eating different traditional food that they prefer but I'll mention the common ones; β Amala (yam flour) β Iyan (Pounded yam) β Eba All these foods are most of the times, prepared by the Yorubas. They also have their preferences, for example, someone from Ekiti would probably enjoy and prefer pounded yam to Amala and all those priorities differ from states to states in the Yoruba land. Dressing Basically, we have some wears in the Yoruba land like β Agbada β Iro β Buba β Ofi β Lace β Aso alaro and so on and so forth.... Of all the tribes in my country, the Yorubas are the funniest in terms of believing some superstitions. An example of those beliefs is that a pregnant woman must not go out under the sun in the afternoon without tying the em of her cloth with a pin, they believe that any woman that doesn't do that might give birth to a child that'll be possessed with evil spirits but I find it hard to believe because how does pin stop evil spirit. I personally feel that all these rumors are passed from generation to generation and it must have been our great grand fathers that insinuated that belief but who am I to change them. Language Even though all of us are called the Yorubas and we speak the Yoruba language, our language still differ within our ethnicity. This difference is not caused by the total change in the mother's tongue but the language differs by intonation, different parts of Yorubas speak the language differently even though we all speak Yoruba. I was thinking I'd write on the remaining two tribes or culture but it seems I'm running late for bed already. The remaining two tribes are hereby; 2. The Igbos and 3. The hausas I hope that one day I'd be able to write more on all these tribes so that you can learn from our side... Read and enjoy πβ€οΈ
Rape: a plague to be cured Good morning readers here, it's been a good weekend over here and it was activity filled, I went out for some parties, who doesn't have parties to attend on Saturdays. Maybe if you're not the social type tho but I am but I'm back here to give what I like doing best and that's writing, I'm writing today from my pained heart but before I continue, let's check my SPONSORS block... Rape in our society has become a frequent headline of our news, it has really become something that must be included and this shows the level of insanity we have in our country. In the recent news, I heard of the story of a 36 years old man who raped a 5 year old girl, I don't know how badly in need of sex you are as man, it should never be an option to forcefully go down on a girl or even a grown up lady as the case may be. This man who was named Tony was alleged to have raped a girl of 5 years old in their compound where they all lived as tenants, it was a sunny afternoon like around 3pm when Mr Tony was at home idle and jobless, he had decided not to go to work that day because he claimed not to be feeling well. As idle as he was, he began to have different thoughts in him but there was nobody in the compound and as soon as school closed, this little girl came back from school and met him outside his house but in the compound, she greeted him and headed towards her house when he called her back and begged her to help him buy something, he used what she bought for him to lure her into his house, he threatened to kill her if she shouted and so she cooperated and when the deed was done, this little girl had lost consciousness, she lost her life before they reached the hospital. The man was almost dead from the beating he got from the mob before the police came to rescue him to their station. How to avoid rape in our society: 1. Enlightenment: Our children especially the girls should be enlightened on how to detect if a man or guy is behaving seductively to them, they should also be taught basic self defense skills so as to combat against rapists. 2. Self control Men should learn how to control themselves when they get aroused, and this begins with our parents, they should teach their male children self control. 3. Don't be covetous 4. know about body languages and signals 5. Dress properly I hope that this article would enlighten a lot of people and save some lifes... Thanks for reading πβ€οΈ
Vaccinated? Good evening readers here, it's Grace again and it has been a good day for me and I hope you all had a great day too? Today I'll be writing on my vaccination experience, I got my first dose of the covid 19 vaccine today and I really felt so fulfilled after I was injected. Before I continue, let my post my sponsor block In this present session, I was unable to get accommodation into the school hostel and that was due to the fact that I didn't get to register so early for the accommodation exercise, it has been a great disadvantages to be as I have missed a lot from not being in school. I have missed a lot of social gatherings, a lot of tutorials, a lot of impromptu tests that I also missed top hosts especially from my mates in the department, I've been left out because of this and it's now becoming very embarrassing as I don't know what going on in the department. I have now decided to resume to the hostel for my second year in the university. In the quest to start the accommodation process, we were asked for the covid 19 vaccine card which I don't have because I've not gotten the vaccine yet, I collected the site to generate a code for recognize on the day I'll receive it. I was scheduled for today andI was anticipating it real bad. I woke up so anxious and early so as to reach my vaccination center very early but you can trust Nigerians with the African time mentality, I got there very early like around 7am this morning but they didn't show up until 10am, I was very disappointed but they already apologized to us and that did a little to suppress my anger. We were numbered anyhow again but I was lucky enough to get the number 42 and it wasn't my turn to get the vaccine, not until 1pm. It was finally my turn and the way the nurses were reacting wasn't nice enough, maybe because they were actually stressed already but it's their job and it's meant to be done meticulously. I was called upon to sit down next to the nurse and as she brought the vaccine out of the jar, all the thoughts and news of how it could go wrong was going through my mind and before I opened my eye, she was already asking me to stand up, I didn't even feel any pain but I was also advised to take paracetamol and have a nap after the dose... I took this tablets as soon as I got home and slept and I'm infact just waking up after that also... It has really been a long day too... Thanks for reading β€οΈ

My knowledge about readcash #1 25-11-2021 Hey readers! I'm Grace and I'm new here, I've actually learnt a lot about this platform even before I joined and I will make that my first post so as to be corrected on any mistake I would most likely make in the future and also to guide future new users that might need help on some issues, they can always refer back to this article. **The sponsors block** This block just shows the list of people that have interest in your articles, people that have read your articles and would like you to be their ambassador and you know what I mean by ambassador, they pay you in BCH and then in return get their logo on your profile and even in all your articles, I think that's a win win situation for both parties in this case since the main reason if we're not deceiving our self is to earn. **Sponsorships** This is another very interesting feature where you get to sponsor users that you find interest in their writings just to serve as an encouragement to such great and ambitious writers, apart from getting sponsored, also sponsor people because of the law of karma, I won't say more than that. **Upvotes** This great platform has created a channel by which users can tip each other based on how much they like the writings, I can't imagine if only the @TheRandomRewarder could Upvote your posts, it would be nice but it can't be as nice as other users also showing appreciation to your excellent writings. **Subscriptions** This is another amazing feature that was explained to me, this feature is available for all users, great and small, old and new, I'd not say that your number of subscribers dictate how long you've been on the platform but instead, it shows your consistency and commitment to the platform and I plan to gather subscribers as soon as possible because your subscribers get to see your post first if they're active though because they get the notification first... **The do's and don't** The first thing I was warned against is PLAGIARISM, I was warned specifically not to copy any post that's from the internet, all posts must be 100% unique from your imagination. I was also advised even though it's not compulsory, to put references anytime I get a picture from the internet, it's not even advisable to do that as it might be tagged plagiarized, so to be on the safe side, get your pictures from unsplash.com among other sites that are listed on this platform, I was told a lot but I don't want to bore you out so I'm going to stop here and y'all should anticipate my thrilling articles to come...π€π€π€
