Let me share some of my site pictures with you. These are pictures of a fireplace for one of my construction sites during my internship. The fireplace construction wasn't included in the initial design but the client asked that we construct one for each of the units. The first picture is the sketch of how we wanted the fireplace to come out after construction. We considered using two options at first. One, we either build the fire place as a solid structure using clay sand, or we use clay bricks. The later was chosen as you can see in the other pictures. We also introduced a precast beam in the design to carry the weight of the bricks and steel fireplace cover above the opening. #NoiseCash
