I Was Obtained. Obtaining is a little word we use here when someone or a group of people forcefully collects your money or property in a gentle way. Most times you end up giving them the money willingly yourself to avoid getting hurt. Yesterday, after finishing my business at the local store, it was running late, so I was in a hurry and didn’t put my phones in my bag (this was a big mistake as computer village is usually dangerous when it is late) I was walking really fast. Suddenly, I noticed someone was approaching me and was walking really fast. I knew what was coming. When he caught up to me, he hit my arm and said “didn’t you here that my boss is calling you? How dare you disrespect King of Boys- the Gang leader’s title which is a hilarious one because it is the name of a movie. The gang leader walked up to me and told me he can tell his boys to destroy my gadgets if I misbehave. I was with my laptop and phones, so I didn’t want to risk being smart. As a Lagos boy, I know how all these things go. I voluntarily opened my bag and gave them $2 and went on my way. They were after money after all. #RandomThoughts
