In trying to prepare Bill of Quantities for clients, I spare no expense at getting enough information about the proposed project. A Bill of Quantities is prepared in order to ascertain the cost of a project and it guides the various professionals involved in the construction of a project. This is a photo of my laptop. You’d see that I have Revit, Autocad, and Excel opened. I use Autocad to understand the 2D model and to take off Quantities and then Revit to understand the 3D model.
