Someone cares when the world is against you. Something to hold on to when it feels like you’re being uprooted from your core. You are not alone. Someone understands that you’re trying and failing, and trying again, and failing. Again. Again. Again. Someone sees that you really want this but it hurts a little too much and you can’t quite remember why, exactly. Someone hears about your fears and worries and can help you express them, to yourself or to others. Someone knows how to tell a story by connecting the dots from your past to your future and can see things that you can’t see yet. Someone is there to remind you of your purpose, that you have talents beyond what anyone has ever told you before, talents that will serve others in ways that they need help now more than ever before.
