If people would do their actions thinking about the consequences, then the world would become very beautiful. We can predict some outcomes, predict what the dire consequences might be but still do them, because of our own sense of ego, because of arrogance, to gain dominance over others or to make our existence known. Any act done due to jealousy, greed, lust, pride or stubbornness never results in good results, sometimes it may seem good temporarily but in the end it does not result in good results. No matter how many terrible deeds we see in the world, if we analyze them, they are all due to violence, greed, lust, arrogance or dominance. No action taken in consideration of the welfare of the people results in terrible evil.
