"ANO NA LANG ANG IISIPIN NILA SAKIN KUNG GAWIN KO TO?" Isn’t it odd that we care so much about what other people will say to the point that we’re willing to reject ourselves just to get their validation? Ang weird lang diba? Sobra sobra yung paki natin sa opinyon ng mga taong wala namang ambag sa mga pangarap natin. BAKIT? Why do we choose to disappoint our future selves just so we can get the approval of online strangers, of unsupportive family members, of people who don’t really matter? At kung mahalaga sila, bakit hindi natin maipakita sa mga taong mahal natin na inaasahan natin ang kanilang suporta? That with or without that support, we will push through? In the face of our dreams and goals, shouldn’t we choose ourselves? The only one we’ll have to live with for the rest of our lives? “Ano na lang ang iisipin nila sakin?” has killed more dreams than actual mistakes and failures. Habang ito ang iniisip mo, talo na talo ka na.
