What goals have you achieved this year? I had many goals, but most of them... failed. Let's talk about savings, have you accumulated anything this year? I have, a small amount, but I know this is one of the first step or beginning to follow the next goal. I may not be very lucky in saving but, I have achieved something even better this year, being successful in teaching my children in their modular class. I experienced being praised by one of my children’s teachers. We know that reading and writing are just some of the most important things children should learn. Writing is spontaneous or easy for children to learn, but reading requires the perseverance of both the learner and the instructor. At first, it seemed like I wanted to give up teaching. I talked to one of my children’s teachers about reading, but the teacher said just keep going. Forget about other activities and just focus on reading and I get it! Finally, my Grade 1 son can read now. You know, when you have a goal, don't just give it up. You need focus, mindset and perseverance. Let’s remember that everything we can do if we really want it to come true. We have the key to get to our destination and fulfill our goals, just don't give up! Keep going!
