Parenting can be ridiculously difficult. You can also act in a way that is not true of your core character by being a parent. Two of the many emotions experienced often are worry and fear. Yet parenthood is one of the most incredible gifts, too.

So true. I think that one reason for that is there is no way to prepare. Parenting is like running through the forest in the dark. Everything is in retro spec.
