The day when I'm free from stress
**[November 24,2022|Tuesday]**
Hello, fellow readers and authors. Yesterday I didn't publish an article because I decided to find the woman, whose name is Joy. I focused on my target and found her on social media. And guess what? I found her yesterday and I messaged her to ask if she remembered me. First, it's really difficult to find her account because I don't know her surname, just her first name. I'm really grateful that God guided me on my mission. Now I'll become her friend, but I don't know if I'll see her again.
So, in today's article, I'd like to share an accomplishment or a time when I'm not stressed. When I was in elementary school, I was always on top. I always get on the stage to take my certificates and medals. I admit that it's really hard to stay on top because I don't want to disappoint my parents and also my grandma. I'm always nervous when it comes to exam day or recitation day. I'm not the type of girl who stays in her room to study for an upcoming exam or recitation; instead, I lock myself in my room to read novels or books given to me by my aunt. My mom even scolded me because I didn't want to review or study. What I always do is read. Since I was in grade four, my habit has been to read novels or some knowledge books.
I don't really pressure myself to study. When I go to school, I don't really know what I'm supposed to be answering. All I have is stock knowledge. I don't really want to go back to our house and study again. I have time management.
I don't take my assignments home; I actually finish them at school, because for me, school time is for school time, and house time is for house time. I always wanted to be chilled. I don't really stress myself academically. I remember it was exam day. I didn't review it. Instead,
I'll read two books in four hours. I always believed in myself. When I went to school, my mom didn't give me a snack because she told me that I didn't review and that it was my punishment. So I agree with her and she's right; I always don't review. The exam was over. My teacher announced the highest score in the exam, and I was shocked because I had the highest score in our class, subject in English. I got perfect on the exam,60/60.
When it was time to go home, I put my paper in my bag and gave it to my mom. I was already near our gate when I saw my mom in my aunt's house. I gave her my exam paper and told her goodbye. When I was in my room reading again, my mom knocked on my door and embraced me because she was shocked about my score. She always told me, "Good job." Always. Then she'll goodbye to me.
I always used to be that person. And it's okay. My highest grade is 98 in math and English. My lowest grade is 91 in Filipino. Yes, and that's the grade my mom never told me to be proud of because it was one of my lowest grades. I didn't get the valedictorian because I was transferred to Bicol at that time. It's okay, it's really nothing because all the achievements I get in school are replacements for the bullying I always get in school.
They sometimes refer to me as having a big mouth, but my mouth is fine. They always told me bad words and they always said to me that I always cheated on exams, which is why my scores were high. I wanted to complain to my grandmother about it, but I was afraid to tell anyone because I know how to be angry at my grandmother. So I decided to keep it to myself.
Now I have 37 certificates from acads and 29 medals. But my mom didn't want to display or frame my medals and certificate, so she put them in the folder, and the medals are in the plastic bag. That's why I didn't photograph it and display it in this article. The other certificate went in the trash because my mom accidentally dropped it. I don't know how I feel.
**[Thought]**
*Now that I am entering my senior year of high school next year, I am ready to face the stress and fight for my future. This year is my last to be chill in acads ,I also decided to say goodbye on my books.*
Many many thanks to everyone who always supports me, reads my stories, and thanks for leaving comments on my articles. I'm very happy to find someone who always gives her/his thoughts about my story and shares their own thoughts. Giving comments on my articles makes me very happy.

Hello, kind reader and author. Another day, another article to be published! So I just wanted to tell you about my brief encounter with a stranger on the bus. I met her on the bus because, earlier, my mom and I decided to visit my relatives in Taguig. Her experience of her life is sad. She lives in her little apartment, and her work is as a vendor. Her story has a lot of knowledge. When I heard her story, I was really motivated and strong to be like her. I don't know why she told me her story. I think because I'm a teenager, I need to get advice. I don't know her, but I know in my heart that she's a kind person.
I wake up at 4 in the morning to prepare myself to go to Taguig. When I was done, my mom was already done too, so we decided to go because we didn't know if we would have traffic. We walked for 10 minutes before reaching the jeep station. We entered the Jeep and rode for 15 minutes. When the jeep reaches the bus station, we leave the jeep and walk to the counter to buy 2 tickets. I was nervous because I would be riding on a bus again in two years, but the difference is that we have a social distance.
Due to the social distancing, my mom and I decided to just sit at the back of the bus so that we wouldn't be separated. I sat near the window to look at the beautiful places passing by and to memorize the route to my aunt's house. My mom decided to sit on the other side near the window too. Our stance is that my mom, blank, blank, blank and I, always wanted to sit near the window because I'm easily bored and fall asleep. While I was looking through my phone to find my Tiktok app, I looked at the lady who was sitting on the next chair. I want to tell her that we need social distancing because it is required. But I saw in her eyes that she was tired and her hand was shaking.
I asked her why her hands were shaking:
She: ***"Sorry, are you scared?"***
Myself: ***"No! I was curious because I think you need to rest because you look pale. "***
***"Ah, "*** she said.***No,*** ***I'm okay. I was tired. That's why I look pale. "***
myself: ***"Are you sure? Did you eat breakfast? "***
She said, ***"Uhmmm... No, because I need to go into my apartment."***
Myself: ***Why? You need to eat. It's really important to eat your breakfast for your health.***
She says, ***"No need, no one cares about me."***
When she said it to me, I was sad because I saw in her eyes the pain she felt.
I asked her again what her name was and what her age was. Her nickname is "Joy" and she is 39 years old. She didn't have a job or work, but she told me that she was a vendor. I asked again if she'd had a chance to graduate. She said yes. She's a nurse. I was actually shocked. Again, I asked her why she wasn't a nurse now. She told me that when she was 32 years old, she applied to Singapore to be a nurse and she passed the application. While she was telling me about her life, I saw in her eyes excitement and emotions.
She told me that she's been an OFW before, a nurse in Singapore. She has a lot of money and she gives all her family what they want. She spoiled her parents with her own money. She bought expensive things that she didn't use. She's always in the mall when she's off duty.
She said she always spends his money and sometimes she even goes into debt because she is addicted to buying things. She said she could no longer control herself over the things that money bought. One day, she fired her from the job because sometimes she was always late and out of space. She said she cried a lot during that time because she was no longer working and had a lot of debt. She didn't have savings either.
When I heard her story, I felt like I was crying because I didn't know if it was her fault if she hadn't. I asked her again if her family supported her even though she didn't have money.
She told me that when she came home from Singapore, none of his family came to pick her up from the airport. She thought that she might be surprised at home. But she was wrong. She was still rebuked and ignored by her own family.
She told me that I need to discipline myself when it comes to money. She said to me that it's so hard to find money. She also told me that I needed to save some money because in the future I might need it. I thanked her for her advice. I was about to ask again why his family ignored her when the bus stopped at her place. That's why she needed to leave and say goodbye to me.
She needed to get off the bus because her apartment is nearby. When she said goodbye to me, I gave her 150 or 3 dollors to buy her breakfast. She thanked me and said her goodbyes. I wanted to ask about her social media accounts, but she has already left. The next stop of the bus is nearly in Taguig, so we need to prepare to leave the bus, and I wake my mother to sleep.
Until now, I thought that if we crossed our lives again, I would hug her tightly.

Sorry, it was my fault.
**[November 21,2021|Sunday]**
Hello, kind readers and authors! What I want to tell all of you guys is what happened in our presentation. We have seven groups. I'm in group 3 and I have four group mates. I think my hard work isn't enough for our presentation because they all blame me. They say it was my fault. I don't know why, but for me, I do all my best for the presentation. So.. here's the story:
On Thursday morning, I published an article about the strand and course that I want to take, and I linked to the article I wrote about our presentation. That's why I rarely communicate with other users.
Our subject teacher gave us five days to work on our presentation and practice. I'm the one who was assigned to editing, and my other four members I actually don't know, but they say they write the other papers and answers that will be answered if our teacher asks about our presentation. I agreed with their opinion. On Monday, I started to edit the video and the template for our video. I was tired and tried i text our one member to help me with editing because I'm not familiar with editing and it's really hard to edit a video. She helped me and taught me other skills in editing.
On Tuesday, I'm editing again and practicing how to present it smoothly to my subject teacher, and I'm always competitive about getting a high score because I know I'm doing well now and I don't feel pressured. We don't have a leader in our group because they didn't want it. I want to complain to them that we need a leader because it's nice if we have a leader to check on us if the other members are good or bad their doing. In the end, I did not complain about it. I don't want to argue because of these stupid things. Instead, I focus on my editing and practice.
Wednesday came in and I was not finished editing our videos. I was nervous while editing the video and practicing the other script that my other members did. Thursday has come and I'm already done editing our videos. I updated my other members that I was done editing the videos and they replied to me, "good." I replied to their message with "Okay" and I decided to sleep for hours because I was tired and my eyes wanted to close and sleep. I'm always late sleeping because of my responsibility for editing. Sometimes I sleep at 12 am and sometimes at 1:30 am.
Friday came and I did all the tasks they assigned me. So I texted our group chat that I was done with it. And they replied to me, "***Sure, I'm not done yet***." So I asked, "***Why***?" One member replied to my message: "***it's really hard to write on bond paper and think about what answers will be written in the questions***." My face changed into curiosity because it's really easy to do that task because the answer is already provided on our subject teacher. We need to familiarize the answers not to write on bond paper.
Because our subject teacher gives us hints or answers to the questions that she provides, my nervousness faded when I finally got familiar with the answer and how to present it. I texted again on our group chat if they were done with their task. So the nervousness that I felt was changed into an exciting feeling. They replied, "yes," and that night I reviewed my editing to see if it was nice. When I was satisfied, I checked it. I decided to sleep early.
The presentation started at 9:30 am. Because I'm in group three, our presentation got started at 11:20am. So I opened the link that my teacher gave us. I started to open the videos and present them. I was happy because my edited videos had been approved by my teacher, and she said, "nice editing, Ms. Glenah," and I thanked her. When I'm done discussing my point of view, our subject teacher questions us about the meaning of our topic. I was thinking if I answered it because I know that my other members know about those questions because they say they know the answer. When 2 minutes passed without an answer, I opened my camera and asked for permission to speak, and the subject teacher allowed me to speak. I answered smoothly, and our subject teacher gave me a smile.
When the presentation was done, our subject teacher gave us an individual score.I got a 48/50 score, and my other members got 43/50 scores.
I thank my members for their hard work, but they tell me that I'm a favorite of my teacher, which is why my score was higher than theirs. So I explained to them that I was working hard too for our power point and videos that needed presentation, but they just said that my video editing was not nice and it was really poor. They told me that I should still help them even if I was done with what I did.
I apologized to them. And they tell me that it was my fault that their score was lower than. And before I replied to the group chat, they blocked me and removed me from the group. I was shocked because it's not a big deal, and I know they do their best for the presentation, but their actions are not labelled with their ages. They like immature kids. Okay, it was my fault.

I hope my decision is right
**[November 18,2021|Thursday]**
Hello, everyone! How was your day? I hope you'll be doing fine! Due to school work and a video presentation that we need to finish before Saturday, I haven't been active in two days. And I am sorry if I didn't reply to the comments on my last articles. I'll try to comment and read some articles.
Now that I'll be a senior in high school next year, I've been thinking about which strand I should take and what courses I'll take in college. It's really hard to make decisions because of the financial problems. When I was in elementary, I thought that in the future I wanted to be a teacher, but now I think it's not suitable for me. In seventh grade, I am proud to say that I want to be a teacher and teach students how to learn. But now I think it's not my passion.
I have two options for the strand that I want to take. The one option is Humss, or Humanity and Social Science. In HUMSS, the jobs that I get if I take HUMSS are education, political science, English major, history, and so on. My older brother takes HUMSS, but he didn't know what course in college he would take, I think because of the financial problem.
My brother wants to take a scholarship to Llasalle. If he got a chance to study at that university, he didn't decide what course he would take because the school provided the course. For me, it's really difficult to study for a course that you don't want. But because of the hardship, the other students pursue the course that has the lowest financial.
The number two options is ABM or Accountancy, Business, and Management. The main job that I want is to be a lawyer. However, I was considering which pre-law course I should take if I wanted to study law. I looked at Tiktok and YouTube videos to find some advice on what strand and course I should take, but the others say that any pre-law course is valid. So I searched again on Google to see which strand was political science and legal management. I was frustrated because they had been in different strands and I thought they were in the same group. So I think, which strand should I take?
So earlier, I texted my friend which strands she should take. She said HUMSS, because she wants to be a flight attendant. I'm making myself jealous because she already knows what strand and course she wants to take and her decision is final.
However, I didn't know if my decision was final. Today I'll decide that I'll take Humss and Political Science in college and as a pre-law course as well. I wanted to tell my parents about my decision, but I was afraid they wouldn't support me because they knew that six years from now I would be graduating. But I want to study law and go to law school to study the law. If I go to law school ten years from now, I'll be graduating. Two years in senior high school, four years in college, and four to five years in law school. So I'll be studying for 10 to 11 years before I graduate.
So my decision now is to take a Humms strand and political science in college as a pre-law course. I hope ten years from now, my dreams comes true.

A decade and five!
**[November 15,2021|Monday]**
Hello, fellow readers and writers! How was your day? I hope you'll be safe and enjoy your Sunday with your family. Sunday is a family day. That's what I always read and heard in every book I've read and seen on television. For four days, I didn't publish an article because of my busy schedule. I'll try to write and think about what topic I can write about, but my mind was blocked!
So yesterday was my birthday. I'm 15 years old now, and I hope God gives me more strength and peace. Before the calendar changed to November 14, I was thinking if I should have a small celebration or nothing at all. I was thinking if my other relatives visited us and celebrated with us. More scenarios I was thinking, but everything in my plan of hope immediately vanished. I was thinking if I had a small celebration, but nothing. I was thinking if my other relatives were visiting us, but nothing.
The one hope that I have is that everyone in the house will greet me with "Happy Birthday." But no one greeted me, not even my mother and father, and my older brother, as well as my friends and cousins. I expected that they would greet me in the evening, but I didn't hear their voices greet me. I tried to open my Facebook account to see if someone had greeted me, but no one had texted me or posted on my timeline.
For me, if I don't have cake or spaghetti, I don't really care as long as they greet me. My days are full of happiness, but no one remembers my days. I don't know if they forgot or they were too shy to greet me, but it's just a simple greet. It's not hard to say that to other people or me.I have more plans for my birthday, but even one of those plans I haven't experienced or achieved.
Earlier in the morning, while I am checking the group chat of our section when someone greeted me. I am shocked because the person who greeted me was my classmate way back in grade 7. She's not my close classmate in our section before but I appreciate her greetings to me. I thanked her.
With days to go before my birthday, I heard my mother's problems with our electrical bills. She's struggling to pay our electric bill. When I heard that, I wasn't focused on my activities and was thinking about our electricity. I have savings in my wallet, which means savings from read-cash and noise. .
My plan is to cash out my savings in noise cash on the day of my birthday. I wanted to buy a camera as a present for myself, but I needed to choose whether to buy myself a gift or give my mother my savings to pay our electricity bill. This camera is too expensive, but I've wanted this since I was in grade 7. I always visit this store on Instagram. I always told myself that God would provide for me, and I know he did. I know God gave this to me at the right time and I will always have patience. I know this year is not my right time to have this kind of camera.
I chose to pay our electricity bill rather than buy myself a gift, because if I didn't have it for my mother, I'd feel guilty and I know I have something to do to help. For sure, next year I'll buy this one, but now I want to help my parents. When I cash out my savings, I'll send it to my mother's GCash account. She was shocked and my mom was talking to me about whether I was sure about giving them my savings. I said yes, because I think that's my gift to my family. Even though I didn't have a gift for myself, I did help with my family's problem. Mom assured me that they would pay the money I owed them this coming Christmas. I said yes and nodded.
**[Note]**
On my birthday, I wish that this COVID pandemic had disappeared and that our Christmas would be happy and our family completed. I wish God would give me more strength to face life's challenges, and I wish God was always by my side to guide and teach me how to fight the poverty that I am experiencing. There are more birthdays to celebrate, and I hope all my goals are achieved. Thank God for another year! Happy birthday self!

Every fiesta, this dish is always on our table.
**[November 10,2021|Wednesday]**
Hello fellow readers and writers,How was your day? Please don't stress yourself too much. Yesterday I published an article about how beautiful my home town is. Now I want to share what is usually served at our table every time the fiesta comes.
Every time May is near, my mind is always thinking about what dish we will serve at the coming fiesta, and I always think about the games because the games of our barangay are really fun and not boring.
I say to my privious article that it's been two years since we attended a fiesta in Garchi. Now that the pandemic has a Gradually disappearing, I hope this coming May the fiesta is fun. The neighbors of our small island are always present every time the party starts. We have perya and boat racing as games, but the main topic in fiesta is the dish that everyone serves at their table.
**Dishes**;
**Laing** - or we called '*Natong*', is the number one dish that is always present on our table every fiesta. My family also really likes laing because the vegetables have a cheap price. They cost 0.40 dollars or 20 pesos, and if you have a farm or backyard little garden, you can plant natong. And after one month, you can harvest and cook it. The ingredients are cooked in thick coconut milk spiced with labuyo chili, lemongrass, garlic, shallots, ginger, and shrimp paste. I promise it's really delicious and you'll regret to cook it.
**Bicol Express -** I know we're familiar with Bicol Express. If we were talking about spicy food, I recommend Bicol Express because it's really spicy, but the delicious taste is always there. My father really likes spicy food, which is why I really like it too. Every time my father cooked Bicol Express for a fiesta, my mother didn't eat it. I remembered my father cooking it for their pulitan with my uncle's. My father put 10 siling labuyo in that food, and my mother accidentally ate it. My mother started to cry because she didn't know that the Bicol Express was really spicy. That's why she didn't like the Bicol Express. Every time she sees Bicol Express, her innocent face turns into an angry face. Everybody in the house burst out laughing because of that incident.
**Minudo** - I started to like minudo when my auntie cooked it in the cooking games in Fiesta. The games were really fun, and I saw my aunties' eyes were full of happiness and enjoyment. When the cooking show ends, I hid some minudo because the house at that time has many more visitors and I don't like to eat other dishes because my number one target is the minudo of my auntie. I'll walk slower going upstairs and eat the minudo I hid. lol! I'm like a thief! lol!
**Lumpiang Shanghai** -Target locked! I always say that every time I see Lumpia on the table. Lunch is starting, and my plate is always full of lumpia rather than rice. They couldn't blame me because lumpia is my life. Lumpia is one of my favorites because it's really crispy and the pork is really delicious with sawsawan. Even birthday lumpia is my number one target.
***You? What is your favorite dish?***
I just want to share my latest milestone on this platform! Actually, I got this on November 5, but I always forget to post it on my privious article.
**[Closing words]**
I hope this pandemic fades away gradually because I want to return when the partying, birthdays, Simba, and fiestas are really fun and blessed. I want to go back when social distancing is not allowed. I want to go ba back when face shields are not allowed, even the face mask. And the gatherings are very fun and enjoyable, but this era is not like before. Hopefully, this coming Christmas, everything will go back to normal.
**[Motivational]**
There is no speed limit in the *road of success!*

Take me back to this town
**[November 9,2021|Tuesday]**
Hello, fellow writer and reader. I'm so sorry because I haven't been active for two days because of the trouble that's happening in our family. Now that the situation is a little bit alright, I've promised I'll be active this day.
We all agree that the provinces are the most beautiful places in the country, and the air is much fresher than the air in Manila.
If they let me choose where I want to live for a long time, I will insist on my homeland. I'm sure I'll live here even without a cellphone or gadget to hold because of the view. You'll probably be amazed at how beautiful it is.I'll be publishing the same topic as in this article, but I want to share with everyone how beautiful my hometown is. I want to share the happiness, how they generously, how they are kind to their neighbors, even if they aren't blood related. Here's the photos!
I called this place "Tambayan." I remember we were always playing this and making sand castles when we were young and taking pictures too. Sometimes my family is here when the whole barangay has no electricity or browns out. The fresh air calms me and gives me a peace that I have never felt in Manila.
This is the view you will get when you leave the house in the early morning. It has no mixed filter. This is how beautiful I grew up. So when the month of May comes, many people from Manila come here to visit and bathe in the clean sea.
I took this picture when we climbed through the mountains. If you don't have experience of climbing in other mountains, surely when you don't have experience of climbing a mountain, you're not even half tired right away and out of breath. I remember when we went to the "Sapa" to take a bath, but the first time I climbed the mountain, I slipped, and my cousins laughed at me because I looked like a vagabond with the amount of mud that hit my clothes, and the others were on my face.
But the tiredness you felt before is exchanged for happiness and enjoyment if you reach the main spot in the mountains. If my family visits our house in Bicol, I prepare myself to climb again because in our barangay there's no cignal because it's a little bit far from the main cignals of town, but I'll promise you'll never get bored because of the sound of the sea and the talkative neighbors.
While we were bathing in the sea, we saw a balsa drifting away from the waves. I showed it to my older cousin so we could pick it up and make a boat and also warm up in the middle of the wide sea. My cousin followed, took the raft and pushed it to my place. He was the first to ride, and I followed him. The raft did not sink because it was quite large and the wood was strong. We paddled the raft with our feet, but when I saw that we were far from the sand, I immediately panicked because I could not swim deep and the water was also rising, so I looked at my cousin and told him we were back to the pang pang. He laughed at me because of my reaction. I didn't know that we were already far from our rest house.
At the end, I saw my mother's angry face because of what we did. I apologized to her because of our fooling around with my cousin, but she scolded us because we were a bit far from the rest house and the sea was not calm. My cousin laughed at me because my eyes started to cry, lol! Such a cry baby:)
**[Closing words]**
A pandemic happened. That's why in two years, I'll never visit my hometown because of the pandemic. Now I'm sure we'll visit our relatives and my best friend this coming May. And elections happen in May, so I'm really sure that the fiesta is really fun and exciting!

Mixed emotions
**[November 6,2021|Saturday]**
So yesterday I published about my experience on a field trip, way back in 2018. I didn't publish it until early in the morning because I was too tired. When our household chores were completed, I decided to publish and read other articles in my notifications. Let's continue the incident happened to me!
I woke up in the morning with my eyes swollen because I cried and cried because I didn't know where my ticket was and I was scared to ask my parents if they saw it. I don't have to ask again for money from them because I know our situations and we're not rich. I texted the group chat or the GC to see if they had seen my ticket, but no one responded; I was very frustrated at the time! When Monday came, I went early to find my ticket in our classroom, but I didn't see anything. When my teacher came into our classroom, I saw my seatmate staring at me. I wanted to ask her why, but my teacher was starting to discuss our lesson.
While my teacher is discussing, my seatmate is whispering in my ear, saying that she wants to give me a gift. I'm not excited about his gift because I was more worried about my ticket than about his gift to me. When recess time came, I started again to find my ticket, but I failed again.I was scrolling through my cellphone, my seatmate gave me a box with a ribbon in it. I stared at her for a minute before I opened the box. When I opened the box, I was shocked because the box contained my ticket. My face turned red and I asked her why my ticket was here, but she answered me that she wanted to prank me.
That's why she took my ticket from my wallet while I was in the comfort room. I want to slap her or I want to complain to my adviser about what's happening, but I don't know how. Maybe I was scared or she was just too. I told her that the prank she was going to play on me was not funny, and she apologized to me and said she would never do that again to other people or me. I accepted her apology because I didn't want to ruin our little friendship and we knew she was still a kid.
One week later, the field trip came. I was very excited and a little bit nervous because it was my first time going on a field trip with my classmates and teacher. The distance we went is four.
Prisedential Car museum
Pasig Rain forest
Art and island
Vinice Grand Canal
**Prisedential Car museum-**
*This is our first spot on the field trip. This is awesome because I saw the cars of the president of the Philippines. But sadly, we're not allowed to touch it. But it's okay because I know how they protect the cars of our presidents.*
**Pasig Rain Forest**
*Our second spot is the Pasig rain forest, and our teacher decided to give us another one hour to stay because we needed to eat lunch before going to our third spot. While we're walking through the Pasig rain forest, our guide gives us a little trivia about the animals and the shooting place. They said that other artists came in because they needed to shoot a drama like Mulawin.*
**Art and island**
*Our third spot is Art and the Island. If I gave a rating out of ten, I'd give it a 1000/10 because it's really beautiful and the paintings are so unique. So many memories of this third spot because I was late to our bus and the bus was starting to go. I screamed loudly because I didn't want to join the other bus because my things were in my bag.*
**Vinice Grand Canal**
Our last part is the Venice Grand Canal. We stayed a long time there, and our teacher allowed us to wander around the whole vinice as long as the bus didn't miss us, and we had to follow our teacher's time. I wandered around with my seat mate, and we also ate fast food. If I give a rating of the place, I gave 1000/10, because it's really beautiful and the light is so beautiful in my eyes.
Our field trip ends at 8:30pm and our bus goes back to our school at 9:47 pm. The field trip is going well, and I'm having a good time. I've taken a lot of pictures, mostly of art on the islands. I will never forget the moment my ticket was gone because of my seatmate's pranking me.
I didn't know how to react, and the moment my ticket was gone, I gave up trying to find it. But the year has passed. It's been a year since my first field trip. I know it's the memories now, but I still feel the happiness and excitement I felt before.
Many many thanks to everyone who always supports me, reads my stories, and thanks for leaving comments on my articles. I'm very happy to find someone who always gives her/his thoughts about my story and shares their own thoughts. Giving comments on my articles makes me very happy. Field Trip
**[November 5,2021|Friday]**
Hello, fellow readers and writers! Time is passing so fast now. It's November 5,2021 already and I can't believe that I've stayed here for 2 months and counting. Yesterday I published about my 2-month journey and a little bit of a story about what happened before. I noticed Rusty. So let's go back to our main topic, lol!
Have you ever been on a field trip? Or have you ever had a field trip at your school? I just wanted to share one of my favorite memories from when our school announced that we were going on a field trip back in the year 2018 (I was in grade 7)
When our teacher enters our classroom and announces that we have a field trip, most of my classmates are excited. One is myself. But while I listened to my teacher's announcement, my mind was thinking about whether my parents would allow me to go on a field trip and give me money to pay for the entrance. I was thinking if I should tell my parents about the field trip, because I really want to go but I know that my parents have a problem with money. We're not rich. And I'm too shy to tell them that I want to go on a field trip.
The class has ended. While I was walking, I saw my classmate walk in my direction. When she reached my position, she asked me if I wanted to go on the field trip. I struggled with my shoulder as I gave my answer, because I didn't know if we had enough money to buy one ticket. She told me that her parents allowed her to go on a field trip and she listed herself on the board with the field trip list, hope all:(
When I reach the house, I walk to my room and change my clothes into pajamas. I went to our table because my parents had sat on the chair. I want to tell them about the field trip. I sat on the chair and drank water because I was too nervous to tell them that I wanted to go. When I was about to talk to my mother, she told me that she knew about the field trip because she said that my older brother had told them about it. And after so many explanations, my parents allowed me and my brother to join in a field trip!
I was so excited that time because it was my first time going in. Early in the morning, while I was busy doing my morning routine, my mother entered my room and gave me the money to pay for our field trip. I didn't explain my emotions at that time because I didn't expect that my parents would allow me to go on the field trip without them.
My mother gave me 25 dollors to pay for our field trip ticket. I am excited about giving that to my teacher and exchanging it for a ticket ,when I go to our school my classmate texted me that she was allowed to join in on the field trip. I ran very fast to our classroom when I reached the school gate because I was really excited about paying and telling my close friends that I was going with them.
I was talking to my seatmate when my teacher announced that whoever was supposed to pay for the field trip was already lined up in front of his table. I walked immediately to the table to pay. I was in the second line and very excited to pay. When I was the next one, my teacher gave me a small smile and wrote my name. I got my ticket and hid it in my wallet. I paid for the field trip ticket, but I don't know what or when the field trip is,but I heard in other teachers that the Field Trip is on the next Friday, it's mean one week! Before , It's okay, I already have my ticket and I will wait for my teacher's announcement.
At recess time, I invited my seatmate to go to the canteen to buy something to eat and hang out while we still had time. While I was talking, I noticed she was looking at my wallet. I asked why she was looking there, but she just told me that she was beautiful in the design of my wallet, but it's just a white wallet and doesn't have a design on it.
Before recess time is over, I tell her that I'll go to the comfort room to pee and I give her my wallet because last time my money was gone because I always put it on my pocket. She nodded and told me that she would wait for me in our classroom.
I immediately went to my seat and took my wallet from my seat mate. She gave me my wallet without talking to me. I thanked her and she just nodded again.
When my teacher dismissed our class, I immediately arranged my things in my bag and said goodbye to my seat mate. I was walking outside of school when I saw a street food stand. I walked fast to reach the position of the street food and buy something. I'll buy a 10 peso fish ball ,when I open my wallet to pay for my fish ball. I'm just shocked and froze to my position because I noticed that my ticket is gone!! I paid my fish ball and went back to our school, but our strict guard didn't allow me to go back into our classroom. I'm crying because I really need the tickets for the upcoming field trip, but they're gone. I don't know why, but they're gone.
*I need to cut this article because it's really long!lol! See you to the next article!*

2 months of writing!
**[November 4,2021|Thursday]**
I was tired and very stressed yesterday, actually every day because of my modules. I want to give up because I'm really really tired of answering the modules that my teacher never teaches us in that lesson. If I hadn't accidentally opened my email apps, I wouldn't have noticed about my 2 months of writing on this platform.
My 2-month journey here at Read Cash is really difficult and challenging for me. My first account has been marked as spam. I don't know why, but I always followed the instructions of this platform. When I asked the other user why my account had been marked as spam, they told me maybe someone had marked my account as spam, and I was really sad.
Within one week, my first account had 15 subscribers and 8 sponsors, but incidents have happened. In my one week on my first account, Rusty didn't notice me, but it's okay because I thought after one month or more than one month, Rusty would approach me.But one week here on this platform and my account has already been marked as spam.
I decided to create a new one, and it was going smoothly, but again and again, my second account was marked as spam. At that time, I wanted to give up because it's really difficult to communicate with other users and to think about what I could write about, but God always cheer me up and gives me more strength to fight through the hardships of life.
I decided again to create for the third time. On the first day of my third account, this platform is challenging because my name has changed and my subscribers are back to zero. On my first day, I'll publish the embarrassing moments in my life and I'll get 37 views and 8 comments.
I woke up in the morning and ate my breakfast. When I was done eating, I checked my account to see if I'd gotten a comment or upvote on my first article. I admit that I really didn't expect that my first article would get upvotes because
I'm a newbie to this platform and I need to communicate with other users to get a comment or upvote. When I open my wifi and go to Chrome to see my account, I'm really happy because I saw my first article get 37 views in one day, but something got my attention. Rusty visited me on my first day on this platform! I don't remember how I felt at that time, because I never expected to get notice on my first day. I'll screenshot the first upvotes from Rusty and send them to my friend in noise. She is happy for me and always says that I'm lucky.
Declaimer:
*I want to share my earnings because I want to give motivation to other users who want to give up on this platform.*
My earnings from this platform have accumulated to over **94 dollars** in 2 months. I'm feeling blessed because, as a grade ten student, I have my own money and I haven't asked my parents for money to buy our needs in school. For reasons unknown, I have already cashed out my earnings. The 75dollors I gave to my parents because we needed to pay for our rental house. 50dollors is the rental of our house. The 25 dollars are paid for our electricity bill.
The 19 dollars are what I gave to my uncle to buy some things for my 2 months old cousin. He always thanks me. Every time he is online, I always tell him that it's nothing, and I want to help him, like he helped my parents before. Besides my uncle, also a family member, I want to give back the help that they gave to my parents before.
This platform is a really big help to me and my family. My biggest goal before I turn 16 next year is to save 35k because I want to buy land in the province and give it to my grandparents as a gift, because in the province, my grandpa and uncle are farmers and fisherman's, and we need to rent the land to plant a rice field ,and one of my uncle's jobs is para kopras or kupra in english.
When they have finished working on the kupra, they will take it to the buyer to sell, but they will not be able to get the full payment because they will have to divide the payment to the owner of the land. It's really sad because it's really difficult to climb every day to the mountain to finish the kupra. That's why I really want to buy that land and save 35k or more rather than.
I'll keep on writing and do my best to achieve all my goals in life. I hope by next year I'll have achieved all my biggest goals. I'm really confident of earning 35k because I know God is always there for me to guide and give me more strength. God is my savior. God is everything.
**[Closing thought]**
I wanted to say thank you to all the people who always support me and believe that I can achieve all my goals. Thank you to my friends on this platform for always giving me motivation to keep writing. Thank you to all my sponsor, commentors and upvoters, thank you very much! I'm so sorry yesterday, hindi po ako nakapag reply dahil napindot ko po ang mark as read:( sorry po

Me and You against the world
**[November 3,2021|Wednesday]**
"Bakit 'di ka na lang makipagbalikan sa ex mo pre?"
Out of alcohol intoxication, my boyfriend's friend mindlessly said those words that completely ripped my heart apart.
Some of my boyfriend's circle of friends were surprised and later, they were all supporting their friend's statement.
"Kaya nga pre! Mas maganda naman 'yong ex mo!" supplied by his other friend and based on his drowsy eyes, he's completely drunk as well.
I instantly bowed my head in shame as
I felt the anxiety slowly devouring my system. My hands under the table were badly trembling and my lips became pale.
God, I never expected them to say and act like that. I've known them as someone who are very supportive with our relationship. I even treated them as my friends because they are special in my boyfriend's life.
What a two-faced people!
With trembling knees and body, I suddenly felt my man's hand on my side.
He then stared at me with dark, steely eyes.
"Ako ang bahala..." There was nothing but coldness in his voice as he uttered those words.
And the next thing I knew, Rhenz punched his friends one by one until all the four of them dropped on the floor with blood dripping on the side of their lips.
"WE ARE NO LONGER FRIENDS FROM THIS DAY ONWARDS! I DON'T ACCEPT PEOPLE WHO CAN'T ACCEPT MY GIRL!"
And with that, he dragged me out from the bar.
Hindi ko na namalayan na kanina pa pala tumutulo ang mga luha ko.
"Pinagsabihan mo na lang sana..." mahinahong litanya ko at hindi pa rin maalis-alis ang panginginig ng buong sistema ko.
He just coldly stared at me. "Someone who disrespects you deserves more than that!"
Ramdam ko ang galit sa tono ng boses niya. I swear, it was my first time to see my man bursting out in anger like that.
"No one can ever hurt you, Liezel. Not even my friends. Not even my own family!" he uttered coldly.
He then planted a soft kiss on my forehead as he hugged me tightly.
"This is me and you against the world, Liezel. No one can ever ruin our relationship," he whispered.
My heart warmed as I felt some droplets of tears on the corner of my eyes.
I smiled weakly.
"And I would take a bullet for you, Rhenz. This is ME and YOU against the world," I whispered back and kissed him on the lips.
From that day onwards, our relationship became stronger than ever. As our promise to each other, we never allow anybody to ruin our relationship. We never let anyone damage our love.
Not even his own parents.
"Ma, ipaglalaban ko si Liezel anuman ang mangyari kahit ang kapalit no'n ay ang hindi ko pagkilala sa inyo!" sigaw ni Rhenz nang marinig niya si Tita na pinagsalitaan ako nang masama.
I just stood beside Rhenz' side, barely breathing and incapable to move.
Tahimik ko lang na dinamdam ang sakit sa puso ko hanggang sa unti-unti ko na lang naramdaman ang pagtulo ng mga luha ko.
Damn, do I deserve this kind of man? Do I deserve his love? Rhenz is just too good to be true.
"You can hurt me whenever you want but you can't ever hurt Liezel, Ma! Magkakasubukan tayo!" His voice boomed around the four corners of their house.
"T-Tama na..." I secretly whispered at my man as I gently squeezed his hand to calm him down.
Despite the disapproval from Rhenz' friends and his family on our relationship, he never allowed every single one of them to wreck our relationship. He never allowed anyone to budge on our love.
And I couldn't ask for more. He's such a blessing in my life!
"Love, you should post this picture! Ang ganda mo kaya!" he beamed proudly.
My face immediately scrunched in disgust.
"Kita nga mga pimples ko diyan, eh. Tapos ang epic pa ng mukha ko diyan," agad na angil ko.
"You look beautiful whatever angle you are in the picture, Liezel. Take note of that."
I thought those were the sweetest words he said but no, because the next words he uttered completely melted my heart.
"I never truly love my imperfections but I will never stop loving yours, Liezel Ramos."
And there, I cried silently.
Napatingin ako kay Rhenz at 'di ko maiwasang mas lalong maluha.
Because of this man right in front of me, I started loving my imperfections and myself.
Sobrang dami kong pinagbago dahil sa kaniya.
We completely fulfilled our promises to each other that it was me and him against the world!
Our relationship progressed to two years and I thought everything would fall into the right places not until...
"N-Nakunan ako..." My voice broke in my throat.
Pain was written across Rhenz' face and I saw the hope in his eyes slowly fading.
"Pangalawang beses ka nang nakunan..." he said coldly. "Magkakaanak pa ba tayo?"
And that question was enough to break my heart completely.
Matagal nang pinapangarap ni Rhenz na maging ama at magkaroon ng pamilya pero heto ako, unti-unting sinisira ang mga pangarap niya.
Months after my miscarriage, never in my wildest dream that our relationship went upside down.
Rhenz suddenly became more cold and distant. His unexpected changes completely disturbed my mental and emotional state.
Fuck it but I really miss how he treated me at first!
When he didn't arrive home at 12 midnight, hindi ko alam kung ba't dinala ako ng mga paa ko papunta sa bar kung saan siya palaging tumatambay at tama nga ang hinala ko.
He was there... with his ex-bestfriends.
So, they were already reunited huh?
He then chuckled like an idiot.
Just because I couldn't bear a child, magloloko na siya?!
How dare him!
More months rolled up so fast and we became more complicated until...
"I'm sorry but let's end this, Liezel. I'm just being honest. Hindi na kita ramdam. Hindi na kita nakikita sa future ko..." sambit ni Rhenz habang nakayuko.
Napasinghal na lang ako atsaka natawa.
"Ang sabihin mo nagkabalikan na kayo ng ex mo!" diretsahang sabi ko.
"NABUNTIS KO SIYA!" he cut me off. "She's three months pregnant," dagdag niya.
And right there, my whole world shattered completely. My heart also stopped beating for a second.
Pagak lamang akong natawa.
"Wow, so para mabuo kayo, kailangan mong sirain ang meron tayo? Ang galing mo!" singhal ko.
And there, droplets of tears finally escaped my eyes.
"Tangina! Ang sakit ng ginawa mo Rhenz!" sigaw ko.
With tears in my eyes, I smiled weakly.
"I told you before that I would take a bullet for you but I never expected that I was gonna take one from you." I chuckled painfully.
Iyak lamang ako nang iyak. Sobrang sikip na ng dibdib ko at nahihirapan akong huminga.
Mas lalo pa akong nadurog nang maalala ang sinabi niya sa akin dati.
We both promised to each other that it is me and him against the world but look at us now?
Mahina na lang akong natawa habang humihikbi.
"C-Congrats! Magkakapamiliya ka na!" mahinang sabi ko habang pilit na ngumiti.
With tears in my eyes, I hugged him for one last moment.
"Be a good father, okay?" I smiled at him.
He just bowed his head, cannot look straight in my eyes.
"L-Liez—"
"Shhh don't worry, tanggap ko na, Rhenz." I smiled weakly.
With so much tears in my eyes, I smiled in front of him.
"Akala ko masakit na 'yong nalaman kong nakabuntis ka nang iba. May mas masakit pa pala doon." I chuckled painfully.
I looked straight in his eyes and for one last moment, I cried.
"Do you know what's more painful than what you did? It's when I realized that it wasn't you and me against the world— it was YOU against ME!"

Filipino Christmas desserts
**[November 2,2021|Tuesday]**
Hello, everyone! How was your day? I hope you'll do fine. Yesterday I published a post about the goals that I have set for this month. I hope I achieve them by the end of the month.
Earlier, I heard my mother talking to my auntie on the cellphone. They talk about the Christmas desserts that they want to serve on the table. I'm not chismosa I accidentally heard them talking and I thought for a few minutes about whether I should write an article about the dessert they wanted or write a recommendation for Christmas desserts.
Because my auntie planned to stay in our house for Christmas and New Year's, they always do that and I'm not surprised. Every Christmas they drink and dance on our house's terrace like idiots, then the next day they say their actions are so embarrassing that they should be ashamed.
Yeah, that's my family. Sometimes I catch my cousins' video calls to their crushes or boyfriends every 12 o'clock on the day of Christmas and greet or they such a papansin. I don't know. And I'm always the third wheel at Christmas. They always video call and I always say "HI" to their boyfriend or girlfriend. That's my work every Christmas, saying "Hi" to their crushes and jowa Or I'll sleep early. That's my routine every Christmas, lol! So let's go back to our main topic!
**Let's start...**

Goals that I want to achieve this November!
**[November 1,2021|Monday]**
The days go by so fast now. And now it's November, one month to go before Christmas. I'm not excited about Christmas because when my grandma died, I felt that my whole family had never been complete without my grandma. By the way, let's go back to our main topic!
Yesterday I read about the goals that they achieved. One of them is from miss. @BCH_LOVER She said to me that I needed to set a goal to make myself a challenge. I agree with her advice. And now I'm writing my goals that I want to achieve in this month of November.
**Let's start....**
**I want to reach 60 subscribers by the end of the month.**
I want to challenge myself to reach the 60 subscribers because I think it's really fun and I need to communicate with other users to be my friends on this platform. If I reach this one challenge, I'm sure I'm going to be happy.
**I will challenge myself to get a badge this month.**
I want to get a badge because it's really beautiful to see my profile with a badge, and it gives me motivation to write and grind on this platform. I saw the other members on this platform have a diamond badge and it's really beautiful to see their hard work on this platform. It's not a joke to notice the robot. His name is Rusty. It's a big achievement to see your notifications because Rusty is upvoting your great article.
**I want to reach 70$ by the end of the months**
When I was a first timer on this account, I told myself to achieve 70 dollars a month. But unfortunately, my first account has been marked as spam. That's why I created a new account. But my second account was marked as spam again. At that time, I wanted to give up because it's really hard to create a new account and communicate with other users with a different name. But God gave me the power to stand and fight again. Now on to my third account. I'm happy and I'll promise to achieve my 70 dollar goal by the end of the month.
**Publishing an articles every day**
I think most of the goals that I want to achieve are in this category. I think this is the hardest part. Because sometimes my body and my mind get too lazy to write and my mind is always blocked. But this is what I want to achieve, so that's why I try to be active and write something interesting. I'll ~~try~~ to achieve this one. No! I **will** achieve this goal.
**To reach** ****1000 views**** **by the end of the month.**
Lately, I achieved 500 views. And now I want to challenge myself to achieve another 500 views to make 1000 views overall. I hope I can achieve this and make myself proud.
I hope that all of these goals are achieved by the end of the month. And I will work hard to achieve all of this and make myself proud. To all the users of this platform, I hope we achieve the goals that we set and I hope to see the goals that you achieve by the end of the month.
I'll guess that tomorrow is the monthly report of the goals and achievements that were achieved. I want to say that no matter how hard our situation is, God is always there for us, giving us the power and motivation to stand up and fight the hardships that we have felt during this pandemic. I'm really excited about seeing and reading your article about your achievement. I don't know why, but I feel so proud of someone who has achieved the goals that they set for themselves.
**[Closing thought]**
**Many many thanks to everyone who always supports me, reads my stories, and thanks for leaving comments on my articles. I'm very happy to find someone who always gives her/his thoughts about my story and shares their own thoughts. Giving comments on my articles makes me very happy. I burst out laughing!
**[October 31,2021|Sunday]**
Yesterday I published an article about street foods, and now I am publishing something about what I saw on my Facebook account. I burst out laughing because it's like my mother's words every time she wants to scold us because sometimes our kitchen is messy. I want to share my thoughts again about the meme I saw on Facebook.
Please!Don't take it seriously, it's just for fun!
**Let's start...**
My mom always does some chores because I am always in my room answering all the tasks related to school and attending some online classes again. One time, when I went to Sala to stand by because I was feeling tired, when I saw all of the tasks that I needed to finish urgently. When my eyes met the Walis Tambo, I started to think about what I could do to make myself sweat and not fall asleep.
I started to clean the floor and washed some dishes. While I was washing the dishes, my mom went to my position and stared at me from toe to head, making an amazed look and whispering something I didn't hear. I'd like to question her about why she looks like she saw a monster or a white lady. When I opened my mouth to say something, she urgently said "*Are you okay? You're not sick or anything, but what happened? I thought there was a white lady in the kitchen and she washed the dishes.* " And after that, she laughs like there's no tomorrow.
When I finish washing the dishes, I'll go to Sala to watch something interesting. But my brother appeared in front of me and touched my forehead. And say "*Wow!Mom, you're right, she's not sick or anything, but omg! She's masipag hah, what did you eat before?* " I always rolled my eyes at my brother because of his teasing. They were always jamming with my mother to tease me or make me look like they were shocked about what I was doing.
Yesterday, I stapled my papers together because on Nov. 5, is retrieval day, when I'm done stapler my papers. I shouted into my room, "Done!" Later on, my mother opened my room and said, "Why are you shouting?" I replied, "nothing. I'm really, really tired. That's why I want to shout." She replied "We? Is your brain tired because of your cellphone? Am I wrong? Don't lie to me, I know you're tired because of your cellphone, "and she closed the door. I am really frustrated because they always blame my cellphone, even though I do not use it every day.
That's why I don't talk to my mother when my eyes are blurry. Because they always blame my cellphone for everything, snatching it from me and hiding it from me in an hour.
I really really relate to this. Because when I opened my Tiktok account and saw something funny, of course I laughed, because the video was really funny and enjoyable, but my family, like detectives, always asked why I was laughing. I always reply, "nothing", but their eyes are on my cellphone already. My father says, "Whoa! Do you have a boyfriend? Why are you laughing?" Yes, I am used to their actions or questions. They always ask about my laughter. They know that their teasing is 14 years old and I am not allowed to have a boyfriend, but they always ask me why and what is funny. It was very fun if you have a family like mine, lol! Strict but amusing and endearing!
**[Closing words]**
**Again, please do not make this article serious because it's for fun and I want to share my thoughts about this. Yes, my parents are strict about my brother and I, but sometimes they're funny and they like to tease us. I'm happy to have a family like this. Their actions are like the best friend squad. It's funny that my mother is completely like the picture.( Do you relate to this meme? Leave a comment if yes! )**
*Many many thanks to everyone who always supports me, reads my stories, and thanks for leaving comments on my articles. I'm very happy to find someone who always gives her/his thoughts about my story and shares their own thoughts. Giving comments on my articles makes me very happy. Also, thank you for always upvoting my privilegious articles and my loving sponsorship. Thank you very much. Love lots po:)❤️*

Do you like Street food?
**[October 30,2021|Saturday]**
Every Filipino knows about street food. I've been enjoying street food since I started studying. I always buy street food when our class is over. But I'm curious about why they call them "street foods".
But obviously, the vendors are selling on the side of the street. I think, lol! I'll try to ask my brother why they call them "street foods." His answer might surprise me. He said it is because they sell on the side of the street and the foods they sell are "street foods." That's why they call them "street foods." I almost burst out laughing because of his explanation, but his point was well made, and I really liked his answer.
I think my decision to ask him about the meaning of street foods is wrong.
**Let's start....**
**1.Isaw**
One of the most popular Filipino street foods is the isaw Philippines. It is pork or chicken intestines that are typically barbecued or deep-fried. Don’t worry because the intestines are cleaned thoroughly before grilling it. This is the one of my favorite street food because it's delicious and the price is really cheap.
**Fun trivia:** Isaw Philippines has been around since the 1970s. When livestock supply was abundant in the 1950s, street food vendors opted to sell more expensive cuts of meat, but when the economic crisis hit the country in the 1970s, the scrap parts of pork and chicken suddenly became valuable and that’s when they started to sell isaw. Street foods in the Philippines articles aren’t complete without isaw.
**2.Betamax**
Betamax is the blood of pig or chicken that is coagulated and shaped into squares. It resembles the box-type video cassette tape called Betamax, hence the name. Although it’s made with blood, Betamax doesn’t have a foul smell or taste. In fact, it has a mellow to bitter flavor that calls for spicy vinegar on the side.
Every time we have a bonding with my loving cousin, we decide to go to the street food stand to buy Betamax, but I don't like Betamax. That's why I only buy isaw, hatdog, or chicken fit etc.My cousin's is really like Betamax, which is why they always spend too much money buying Betamax.
**3.Kikiam**
Kikiam is a Filipino street food that was originally taken from Chinese cuisine and authentically consists of minced meat and vegetables. But unlike the Chinese version, the kikiam Philippines contains fish meat instead and a lot of fillers. They are brown and about the size of a finger.
I spend too much money on kikiam. Sometimes I'll buy 20pcs or 30 because it's really delicious and can even be made into a dish.
**4.Banana cue**
Banana cue is a sweet treat on-the-go made of deep-fried bananas coated in caramelized brown sugar. Like the other famous street food in the Philippines, pork barbecue, the bananas are skewered. An alternative for this is camote cue, which uses sweet potato instead.
I remember when I was in grade 6, I always brought banana cue to our school canteen. Sometimes, when it was recess time, the banana cue was always sold out. Sometimes I argued with my classmates when there was one left. It was funny at the time, because I looked desperate to eat a banana, which is why I always turned to arguing.
**5.Turon**
Another banana sweet street food is turon which is one of the most famous street foods in Manila. It’s a popular food-on-the-go for Filipinos as this can be easily eaten everywhere. The bananas are cut in half and wrapped in a spring roll wrapper. It’s also deep-fried and coated with caramelized brown sugar.
**6.Kwek-Kwek**
This famous Filipino street food has quail eggs in it and the brightly-colored orange that covers it is made of batter. Most of its goodness relies on its sauce and street food vendors have their own recipe. The best choice would be vinegar with chilis and garlic.
What is your favorite of those? Leave a comment about what your favorite street food is.

The heart comes back from where it truly belongs
**[October 29,2021|Friday]**
I've been in a relationship for 7 years with my man.
And within those seven years, I did nothing but to invest my time on dreaming and building our future— from the design of our house, the motif of our wedding day and the number of kids we are planning to have in our family.
Everything was just perfectly set and planned out not until...
"Babe, I'm sorry.. ngayon lang ako nakauwi."
It's already 12 midnight when Harvey arrived in our house. And the way how he catches his breaths, how his eyes avoided my gaze and how his stances made me felt uneasy— I knew that Harvey is up for something.
But I just ignored those red flags. Kasi ayokong masira ang pangarap na binuo ko para sa amin, ayokong masayang ang oras na iginugol ko at ang pagmamahal na ibinuhos ko sa kaniya.
For seven years of being committed to him, I don't want to put all of my efforts, sweats and love into waste.
"The heart comes back from where it truly belongs," ika nga nila.
Kaya kahit may tampo o galit ako kay Harvey, my heart still finds a way to come back in his arms.
—
On our sixth anniversary, everything became worst than what I've thought and expected.
My man would come home late without letting me know where did he go. He'd also gets cold and angry for no apparent reason.
Each day and months had passed by, I could smell the stink of his promises, I could sense the twists of his words and I could hear him whisper someone else's name during his sleep.
I felt and heard it but I ignored all of those signs.
—
On our seventh year anniversary, our relationship became more complicated.
Mali ko na lang palagi ang nakikita niya. He's too busy finding faults in me while I'm busy finding reasons why I should still fight for our love.
He did really change a lot. His inconsistencies and cold treatments made me questioned my worth.
"Huwag mo munang isipin ang future natin, love," he once said.
With his words, it made me think.
"Seven years na tayong mag-on, Harvey. In fact, I already have enough resources and money for our wedding. Huwag kang mag-alala, wala ka ng gagastusin sa kasal natin," I whispered with excitement.
But instead of being grateful, he just gave me a bitter look.
"Huwag muna nating isipin 'yan, love. Please.." he begged.
"If you don't have plans to marry me, what's the point of this?" I questioned him, pertaining on our relationship.
That time, I was so hyped and too much excited in planning our future without noticing that within those seven years, I've realized na ako lang pala mag-isa ang may plano at may pangarap para sa future naming dalawa.
Pero sabi nga nila, "The heart comes back from where it truly belongs."
That's why here I am right now, inside the church while wearing a white dress— but not as my man's bride but a mere visitor of his wedding day.
Because few months ago, we broke up, telling me that he fell out of love.
But Iater, I discovered that it was just his alibi to escape on our relationship because he made his ex pregnant while we were still on.
Tama nga sila, "The heart comes back from where it truly belongs."
Because seeing my man getting married with his ex today, I've finally accepted that his heart wasn't mine to begin with.
I am not angry with him for what he did because somehow, he didn't just came in my life but he became a part of it too.
Kung may nararamdaman man ako ngayon— it is pure ache and agony.
Because if only he told me from the start that I am just a rebound and an intruder on their love story, maybe right now, I have a loving man, a healthy baby and a happy family.
Maybe right now, I am not hurting and suffering.
I felt really robbed. Parang ninakaw 'yong pitong taong buhay ko sa lalakeng nakalaan pala para sa iba.
It hurts so much that I took seven years of dreaming and building my future with him.
While he took the seven years of my life before he finally realized that it was still his ex whom he deeply loves and not me!
**-End**

Spirit of the glass
**[October 28,2021|Thursday]**
When my parents decided to go back to our old house, I was a little bit excited because I have friends in our old house and my uncle's house is near our house. Early in the morning, my friend visited me and played with me. When I felt bored, I immediately ran to my brother's room and asked him if I could use his cellphone.
He nodded as his answer. I immediately picked up his cellphone and ran to my best friend's position to play a horror game. But she didn't want to play horror games because she's scared, so that's why she played alone on my side.
I felt bad, but I really liked horror games at that time. I was playing horror games when my brother came to my position and asked me if I was finished playing a game because he needed his cellphone for urgent something.
I gave him his cellphone and thanked him. He nodded again and went back to his room. I felt bored again. I tried to play my Barbie dolls with my best friend, but it was really boring. When afternoon came, my mom called me because it was lunch time. I ran to the table in the kitchen and sat down.We eat peacefully, and no one talks because my father didn't want that.
After lunch, I went to my bedroom to sleep because it was really hot outside and my mom didn't allow me to play because it was too hot and it was already afternoon. When I started to close my eyes, I heard a knock. I was in a bad mood when I opened my door and saw my brother standing there.
He asked me if I wanted to join them for their game. I asked what kind of game it was. He replied that the **spirit of the glass** game we play, think for a minute if I'll join, because I saw in a movie that it's really scary and not safe.
I nodded as my answer because I thought it was fun and exciting at the same time. My brother smiled at me and said that at 6 pm we'd start the game in the Abbondon unit. After the conversation with my brother, I closed the door and went back to my bed to sleep. It was 3 pm when I woke up.
I immediately walked to my comfort room to wash my face before asking my brother if my parents knew this. I want to know if his friends are joining too, because it would be fun if we were more in the game.
I knocked on my brother's room and he immediately opened it for me. I asked him if his friend was joining too. He replied, "Yes", and I was happy. 6 pm came, and I was a little bit nervous because the abbondon unit is a little bit far from our house, but I was comfortable because I was with my brother and friends too. When they started to sit, I sat too, on the floor.
The one friend who is my brother's has a board and a small glass. The board is not an ordinary board. I'm familiar with this board because I saw it on television. I asked when they bought the board because it is rare and I don't think it is expensive either. They didn't give me the answer and just ignored my question.
We're in the circle position on the board and the glass is in between us. They started to talk about something. And I was really scared at that time because the wind was so cold and the candle on our side had already vanished. I asked them to stop, but they ignored me and continued doing what they were doing. I close my eyes and think of something when they put their hands in the class. When they started to move the glass,my hands started shaking because I was scared.
I want to run and go back to our home, but my body doesn't want to cooperate. My head already ached and my breath was short. When my brother's friend had already stood, he said, "Stop this stupid game." And I stood up too. Because I am really scared, the leader of this game said, "we're not done with this game. We need to finish this." But the other friend of my brother is running away and saying goodbye. I ran too and said goodbye to them, and I saw my brother looking disappointed in his face. I ran to our home and changed my clothes because I felt heavy in my head and my breath was short.
Early in the morning, I saw my brother in our kitchen eating his breakfast. He was still mad at me because of what happened yesterday. While I was scrolling through my phone, he told me that we needed to finish the game because if we didn't finish the game, scary things would come into our lives. After 5 days after the game, my mother is always dreaming of the lady who is hanging in front of my mom's face. Sometimes I dream about the lady who has her head cut off in her face with more blood. My parents didn't know anything about the game we played last week. She said to my dad that we needed to leave this house because my mom was scared about her dream.
I never believed the spirit of the glass, because it was just an elosion. When my dad agreed, I needed to say goodbye to my friends because it's a little bit far away. One month later, when my dad told us what happened to our neighbors in our old house, I heard that my brother's friend had died because of an UTI. I froze and stopped eating because I remembered that he was one of the members who joined in our game. That time, I was really scared and I ran immediately to my brother's room to ask him if it was true. He said yes, because of the infection his friend had died from.
Because of the incident, I am scared of horror movies and stories about horror. Also, I was 8 years old and my brother was 10 years old when we played that game, and now I'm 14 years old. 7 years ago, but I'm really scared. My parents didn't know about this.

Just a normal day!
**[October 27,2021|Wednesday]**
This day is just a normal day. I'm doing my school activities because on November 5, it's retrieval day. I'm more focused on my studies and on this platform. I haven't been active on Facebook in months, because it's not really helping my studies and I decided to uninstall my Facebook app because it's really giving me stress.
Some of my classmates asked me if I'd finished my modules because they said that they didn't know how to solve a problem or something, but I know that they wanted my answers to know and it's not really helpful for them to cheat because we're in grade 10, we're not in elementary school.
I didn't give my answer to them. I pretended that I was not finished yet. I'm not shocked anymore by their cruelty because my message to them is that they didn't reply, but they just seen my message.
I'm used to their habits. They didn't know how hard it would be to answer the module. It's not really easy for me to share my answers because it's really hard to find or compute the answers, and when they ask me for the answers, I'm not a fool to share my answer again.

My auntie arrived at our home yesterday. I was so excited when she texted me that she was on her way to our home. I'm a little bit panicked because our house is really messy and our kitchen is not clean yet. When I received her message, I ran immediately to the comfort room and took a shower. When I finished the bath, I washed the plates and cleaned the messy kitchen.
After that, my Tita texted me again that she was on her way to the ministop or supermarket to buy something. That's why I screamed loudly because I had some minutes to clean our house. My parents are at work and my older brother is at the house of his classmates doing something important.
That's why I'm the only person in our house and it's really messy. While I was cleaning the sala, I was thinking about why I am so lazy about doing some chores. I'm going insane because I laughed like it was the end of the world, when I heard my dogs barking I'll stop laughing, and I knew right away that my auntie was at the gate.
I walked faster to our gate and opened it for my auntie. I saw a lot of pasalubong. When I saw her, I hugged her and she hugged me back.I really miss her. When I opened the basket, I saw a pili, my favorite dessert in bicol.
I immediately hide the other Pili, because it's really my favorite and it has been years since I last tasted it. I thanked my tita for her pasalubong and I asked her how long she stayed in our house. She replied that for an hour she stayed here because she had been doing something or had really visited me.
I laughed at her because I knew she really missed me. My auntie is the youngest of seven siblings. My mother is the one who is older than them because she's the first child of my grandparents. After an hour, she tells me that she's going. I'm a little bit sad because I'm the only person again in our house. I hugged her for the last time and kissed her check, before saying goodbye.
________________________
afternoon when my auntie leaves me in the house. It's really boring for me because my cellphone is low on battery and my dog is sleeping. What should I do? I ran to our refrigerator to see if there was anything to eat and my eyes caught powder and three eggs!
I decided to make a simple cake or sponge cake. I'm going crazy because of the boredom I feel right now. When I have powder, eggs, and vanilla, sugar .I mix them and;
While I was mixing the ingredients, I was thinking about whether I was going to poison myself because I was not sure if the ingredients were right or not. Yes! I'm going crazy. But I'm a brave person, so that's why I'll continue what I'm doing. After a few minutes of mixing the ingredients, I put them in a bowl. And I was thinking about how to cook this because we don't have an oven in our house. because I'm a brilliant lady.I took our frying pan and heated it on our stove.
After one hours my sponge cake is already cooked!
I forgot to put some oil in, but it's okay for sponge cake like that. I'm happy that I'm alive now, lol! It's so yummy and it's really easy to make a simple cake. I think I spent 60 pesos on it. I'm happy that I'm not poisoned.lol!
**[Thoughts ]**
Don't mind my katangahan story, because I'm just bored. That's why I'm cooking like a sponge cake, but it's really delicious. And I discovered a new recipe. If I have icing, I'll make my cake have a little design. But it's okay, I finished eating then. If you want to know how to cook or if you want to know my ingredients, just ask me,lol!

Do you have any Fake friends?
**[October 26,2021|Tuesday]**
We all have family and friends in our lives, but do you ever feel like you have a fake friend? Is there something bothering you about what kind of friend they are? We all want to have great friends or forever friends that cheer us up if we are in a sad situation. Friends are really important to us.
Sometimes they have great power to make us smile, sad, or enjoy life. They are great advisers to us and they always get on our backs to support us, but did you ever experience being betrayed? Friends, her/his attitude towards you is fake.
Usually, the friends we trust the most are the ones who betray or deceive us. Have you ever been in a situation where you and your friend are really close and your secrets are both known?
And you think you both look like siblings?Well, I'll experience that before the pandemic happens. When I was in my third year of high school, I had five best friends, whom I refer to as "best friends" because they were a great squad at the time. They always made me happy and always cheered me up if I failed my quizzes.
When I am late because of traffic outside school, they always inform my adviser, and my adviser is always in the mood. That's why I'll never get scolded. But, in my relationships with my friends, we occasionally fight. But while Alexa and I were fighting, I noticed something.
Because Alexa wanted to know my answers in the quiz, I didn't want to get into the faculty room and argue with her while my adviser was in front of us. In my life, I'll never go into the faculty room because I have a fear of being scolded. That's why I told her that I didn't want to share my answer, but she rolled her eyes at me and went to my other friends.
My other friends just stared at me and shook their heads at me. I just panicked at that time because I didn't want to ruin our friendship because I didn't want to share my answer. I ran immediately to their table and gave them my answers.
They like bipolar people because when I give them my answers, their eyes are happy compared to when they stare at me. I was just smiling while they were all busy copying my answers. I was just too nervous that time because I was thinking my adviser, if we were caught cheating, would go into the guidance office and call the parents.
I am thankful that my teacher is busy doing some learning plans. When they are done copying my answers, they all stand and go to another table like I do not exist on their side. They didn't thank me or say anything to me. When they reached the second row of our chairs, they were all happy and didn't even give me a glance after all I was doing.
At that time, I felt like an outsider to their friendship because they were all happy, while I was standing in the fourth row of the chair, seeing them happy. I was not happy with their actions towards me because they were rude. But I set my theory against them because they are all my friends and I believe them. On Valentine's Day, I told them what happened to me while I was walking , but their eyes were on their cellphones, scrolling through something.
I'll stop telling them what happened to me because they are too busy on their cellphones. I want to ask them what happened or if there is something wrong that I did before, because they are all cold towards me and their actions are really rude. Because I am a very kind friend, I assumed that they were doing something with their phone.
When the Valentine's program in our school begins, the MC announces that they need groups of people in each section. When I heard that, I immediately ran into our classroom to announce to my classmates that we needed people to participate in the program. My friends immediately stood up and raised their hands, but I saw that there was a lack of one person, so I ran immediately to their position and asked we needed five people in each group. That's why I wanted to go with them, but Alexa said,
She: Sorry, via is coming, we're exact.
Me:But,where is she?
She: Ohh, here's the via I was talking about.
I turned my back to see who was smiling at us, and I saw Via at the front door of our classroom. My smile on my face immediately faded. I just replied to Alexa, "That's okay!". I think next time I'll come with you guys. You're right, you're exact". And they nodded as they answered.
When the program ended, I saw them walking faster. I ran to their position and asked how they felt. Because they won the program, Alexa stopped and turned to me. She didn't answer my question, and she said, "go away, we don't need you, stupid." And I saw my 4 friends smirking at me and rolling their eyes at me.
I didn't know how to react at that time because they were my friends and I loved them. I don't know if I did something to get them mad. That day, I decided to be a lonely person, but sometimes my seatmate rarely talks to me in the classroom because I'm so quiet and he didn't want that because it's so boring.
After the dismissal of our teacher, I saw them laughing and talking. I walked slowly to their position to listen to what they were talking about, and I heard Via say: "Girls! We're done. She's so stupid she didn't recognize us that day. Dare lang yun.
After I heard they talking about, I told myself that I didn't need any more friends. I already have my own self. They fake !
**[Closing words]**
***We don't need a lot of friends to be happy. We need to learn how to be lonely, because in my experience, being lonely isn't as bad as being joined by a group of friends whose actions are fake. My grandma told me that as long as you are happy to be a lonely person, go because it really helps you to be an independent person.***

We fell out of love
[October 24,2021|Sunday]
"Dad, my girlfriend told me that she fell out of love."
With an aching chest and a heavy heart, I sat on our creamed couch as I saw my dad sauntered with a cup of coffee in his hand. Umupo siya sa tabi ko habang sinisimsim ang kape.
"What did you say again, son? Your girlfriend fell out of love?" he queried as he placed the coffee on the marbled table in front of us.
I chewed on my words and it felt like thorns in my throat. It hurts and it stung. Nagtama ang mga mata namin ni Papa at kita ko ang paglandas ng awa sa mukha niya.
"Pa'no nangyari 'yon? I mean, you were both happy last weekend when she paid a visit here in our house and now, she was saying that she fell out of love?" my dad said in a clipped tone.
"Maging ako rin po kasi ay nawawalan na rin ng gana," I whispered in a weak voice.
A deep sigh left my dad's mouth as if he's weighing things on what to say next.
"How come the two of you fell out of love?" he asked again.
"Kasi hindi na masaya katulad nang dati, pa. Alam mo 'yon, magkasama kami pero sobrang tahimik na namin. There's an invisible barrier between us that made us cold and distant, until we were just hurting each other in the process."
After spitting those words, I could feel my own tears forming at the edge of my eyes. I saw my dad ruffled his hair and a playful smirk touched his lips.
Agad akong nairita nang makitang ngumingisi lamang si Papa habang nasasaktan ako.
"Why are you smiling, dad? Are you happy that your son is hurting?" I said irritably as I threw him an icy glare.
"No, son. I just remembered what I did to your mom when we were like at your age."
"I sent flowers to my new lady. I even wrote hundreds of poems to express my love for her. And there, my happiness that was once gone just came back. Nakita ko rin ang mama mo na masaya sa manliligaw niya."
Bigla akong naguluhan sa sinabi ni Papa. I mean, how did they end up together if they found themselves happy in someone else's arms?
With creasing brows, I asked him. "So pa'no pa rin kayo nagkatuluyan ni Mama after everything?"
I saw how his pair of ears reddened as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Kasi iisa lang naman ang mama mo at ang babaeng nililigawan ko. Sinabi ko lang na nanligaw ako ng ibang babae 'cause your mom changed into a better version of herself," wika niya.
"Since our previous relationship was getting toxic and unhealthy, we had decided to have a brand new start and that includes changing ourselves into the best version of ourselves."
There, I saw tears filling at the corner of my daddy's eyes.
"Hindi talaga natin maiwasang mawalan ng gana, anak. Syempre, may mga panahon talagang hindi masaya at nagkakasakitan na lang kayo. But let me remind you that we enter in a relationship because we need each other. Hindi 'yong nandiyan lang tayo pag masaya. You want a long lasting relationship? Then stay! Nag-away kayo? Then stay. Hindi na masaya? Still stay! Kung gusto mo talagang tumagal ang relasiyon niyo, be matured enough to handle everything. Dahil ang relasiyon ay binubuo ng dalawang imperfect na tao. Walang relasiyon na walang away. Pero may relasiyon na kahit nag-aaway, hindi naghihiwalay."
Matapos magsalita ni Papa ay 'di ko na namalayan ang pagtakas ng mga luha sa mata ko. Every words he uttered cut deeper to my bones. Bigla ko na lang naalala si Rose, ang girlfriend ko.
Nakatitig lamang ako kay Papa habang naiiyak at maging siya ay naluluha na rin. Now I know why my mom is so smitten to my dad because he's indeed a real man.
"We can fell out of love even if we love that person too much, son. Because love is not just about glitters and rainbows, it's a constant war. It's just a matter of who will keep on fighting with you, who will surrender and who would pick up the next battle with you. So, kung alam mong kaya mo pa naman siyang ipaglaban, then fight for your love. Mag-umpisa ulit kayo ni Rose. Pero kung ayaw niya na talaga, then let her. At least you've done your part. Kasi alam mo anak, masarap sumuko sa laban na alam mong binigay mo ang lahat kaysa sa sumuko ka na agad kahit 'di pa nag-uumpisa ang laban."
Tuluyan na akong napaluha sa sinabi ni Papa. Agad kong tinext si Rose para ayusin namin ang aming relasiyon at para makapag-umpisa ulit.
Thanks God, because after a month, we finally found our tracks back in each other's arms.

I need to accept
**[October 22,2021|Friday]**
Hello fellow reader's! How was your day? I hope you'll doing fine. Another day, another article to be published, lol! These past few days my articles to published has all fictional stories and I hope everyone liked it on my stories. Yesterday I dicided to not publish an article today because of my very busy day but, here I am writing some article about my acceptance, lol!
________________________
In the past month, my grandma has gone because of a heart attack. It really surprised me, because before she died, I thought to myself that I was going to call her, because I really missed her,but the distined has really . In my 14 years in this world, she has always been by my side to teach me and love me, and when the pandemic happened, she decided to go to Provins in Bicol to stay for a while because my uncle needed her. My grandma is a person who gives you all the love and appreciates what you are doing in life. That's why I really really love her. But the month of September is coming, the month that I wasn't ready for the big twist coming in our lives.
I always thought that if she were alive, I would be happy right now, but here I am always crying at night, because I am not yet ready to accept her death. Every night, I always watch her video while she sings the worship song. Every night that I hear her voice, my eyes can't stop tearing, and in the morning my eyes are swolle. I know my family knows that I always cry, but they know that I am not ready to accept the situations in our life. They are not blaming me because in the past 14 years that I have been alive, my grandma has always been there for me and kept cheering me up.
Yesterday morning I dreamed that my grandmother was wiping my tears from my eyes and she was telling me to "please don't cry. I know it's hard to accept, but please don't cry." When I started to realize that it was just a dream, my eyes started to tear up and I slapped my face because I was hoping that it was real. I was hoping that my grandmother was alive and well, but life always gives a plot twist in life. I was thinking while crying that it's time to accept my grandmother's death. It's time to accept all the bad things coming in our lives? But how? It is really hard.
When I heard a knock, I immediately wiped my tears because I didn't want them to know that I was crying again. I don't want to worry them. I was thinking that, why do they simply accept the situations? Why is it so hard for me to accept the truth?
Then I realized the word "accept". We need to accept the things that come into our lives. Maybe my dream about my grandmother is a sign that I need to move on ,accept the truth and that I need to stop thinking about her, but I promised myself that she would always be there in my heart. I really really miss her. I really really love her, but I need to accept.
I wish my grandmother was very happy right now and contending with everything. I hope in another life, you will still be my grandmother. We'll miss you Nay!

She's a strong independent woman
**[October 21,2022|Thursday] 9:52 pm**
Demi and I have been in a relationship for eight years.
I met her when we were in College and since we both pursued the same course which is Law— we clicked. Demi is beautiful, eloquent and a woman with so much class.
She's the type of woman who never pays attention to anyone who couldn't hold an intelligent conversation. She'd swallow every opponents of her whenever there is debate in our class or programs in our campus. Her wit and her intelligence are indeed unparalleled.
With that, every men in our university admired her and some women on her age looked up to her as a role model.
When she answered me three months after I courted her, it felt like I had won in a lottery. Imagine, of all the men who vied to get her heart, ako 'yong pinili niya.
After five months of being in a relationship, I'd realized that she's more than just a pretty face— she's more than her IQ. Because what makes her special above everyone else is that, she's a strong independent woman.
Demi only came from an average family but she never allowed me to pay her bills whenever we go out for dates. I could even remember how she find jobs to support her studies.
She was rejected on her first job interview in a call center company and she was so mad that time. Nainggit daw sa kaniya 'yong interviewer kaya hindi siya pinasa.
"Babalikan ko 'yang company nila. I'll let them savour how rejection truly tastes like," is what she told me while gritting her teeth.
She went to another call center company and she succeeded. Pero hindi pa doon nagtapos. As what she promised to herself, she went back to the first company who rejected her and she re-applied again.
When the company finally accepted her, guess what? She boldly rejected the offer!
"Kung kaya nilang manggago, then they are dealing with the wrong woman."
That time, sobrang hangang-hanga ako sa kaniya.
She never allows anybody to ruin and belittle her. She'd surely come back on you with graceful revenge once you'd hurt her.
When we graduated in College, she became the SummaCumlaude in our batch. As we took the Bar Exam, we both aced it and she landed as the Bar topnotcher in the whole Philippines.
It was on our fifth year anniversary when me and Demi finally got married.
But her, being an independent woman, she didn't change her surname after getting married. Dala-dala niya pa rin ang apilyedo niya ng pagkadalaga, which I highly respected.
Her reason was, "I don't want to be known as Attorney insert your surname because that's me! That's the fruit of my parents' hard-earned money and it's my own efforts and hardwork!"
Instead of getting upset, my respect and admiration for her intensified even more. Her perspective in life is just admirable!
After passing the Bar Exam, we both worked as Prosecutors who condemn people who rebelled against the law.
When emi handled a crucial case wherein her opponent is a sonof a powerful government official who was sued with rape case, I told her not to accept the case because her life might be put in the line of danger.
But she insisted.
"If we are going to be afraid with these devils, then who will stand and protect the humanity against these demons?" she asked me. "We both pledged in front of the court to serve the country with bravery! That's why, I'd rather die doing my profession than die without doing nothing!"
There, I had left with no choice but to respect her decision. I tried to help her with the case but she never drag me with her own battle.
Months of attending different hearings, Demi won the case. She successfully put the mayor's son in jail and was charged with lifetime imprisonment.
For eight years of being with my wife, she has taught me a lot of things. She taught how to be independent, brave and how to live life with proper morals and conviction.
That's why, as a lawyer, I applied all the learnings I got from my wife.
Hindi na ako natatakot na banggain kung sinumang lumabag sa batas. They are just holding money while I am holding the truth and justice.
Eight months after Demi won the case, ako naman 'yong may naatasang mabigat na kaso.
"As the representative of the juries, and in front of the People of the Philippines, as the power vested upon me by the Constitution of the Philippines, with a unanimous votes from the juries driven by evidence and arguments presented, Mayor Ronaldo Bautista together with the other seven accused men, are found..."
There was a long pause of silence.
And then the verdict echoed.
"GUILTY!"
The court was then filled with noise and cries.
Tears slowly flowed down my cheeks as I smiled weakly to the parents of Demi who are crying along with me.
"I'm sure, Demi is so proud of you, Ian anak," her mother whispered at me while crying.
I couldn't help but to cry harder. Mas lalong nanikip ang dibdib ko.
Minsan ko na lang maipagtanggol ang asawa ko, sa paraang wala pa siya.
We are about to celebrate our nine years of being together but my wife didn't make it.
Because after she won the case, she was ambushed and was brutally murdered on her way to our house.
-End

Never love a broken person
[October 20,2021|Wenesday]
"Ate, break na po kami ng boyfriend ko."
Bagsak ang mga balikat kong napaupo sa tabi ni Ate Nikka nang matapos akong magsalita. She immediately downed the cup of her brewed coffee on the table and faced me with no traces of any emotions.
"Ano ba ang nangyari, bunso?" agap niya. I suddenly bit my lower lip to suppress my tears from falling as the bitter fragments of memories invaded my mind.
"He came back with his ex, ate. Ang sabi niya'y hindi pa pala siya naka move on kay Eunice."
And there, droplets of tears finally escaped my eyes. Ramdam ko ang paninikip ng aking dibdib at panghihina ng buong sistema ko. The feeling of betrayal and anger instantly crept into my system.
"After I fixed him? Two years ko siyang binuo tapos ito ang igaganti niya? Ang sakit ate!" hikbi ko sa pagitan ng naghihingalo kong boses.
Ate Nikka still shows no emotion while watching me crying. Her face remained cold and stoic. Dala na rin siguro ng kaniyang pagiging abogada ay gamay na niya ang kaniyang damdamin. She's one of the finest attorney in our city and I knew, she can help me get through this.
"Just five words, Anna. Never. Love. A. Broken. Person." She emphasized those words with conviction as if she's on a trial court.
"Don't love a person who still couldn't move on from his past. You are not a rehabilitation center to fix someone's heart and when they are fully healed, they will leave you as if nothing happened. Don't settle for just a fraction of his love, Anna. You are a woman of worth and not a convenience, not a past time and not a temporary source of validation!"
Every words she uttered seemed like lethal daggers aimed at my heart. It pierced through my bones and I can't help but to tear up silently.
"Let him go Anna because when you still keep him? Ito ang mangyayari sayo..."
She instantly handed me her phone and with trembling hands, I opened it. Their conversation with her husband instantly flashed on the screen. Biglang lumakas ang pintig ng puso ko at pakiramdam ko'y parang may mali.
Ang pagkakaalam ko ay masaya naman ang pagsasama nina ate at kuya Jayvee. May isa na nga silang anak eh.
Pero nang mabasa ang chat nina Ate Nikka at Kuya Jayvee ay tuluyan na akong napaluha because this was how their conversation went.
Jayvee: You are getting colder, my attorney.
Nikka: Hahaha. There's always a reason why a woman gets colder, Jayvee.
Jayvee: What's the problem, love?
Nikka: I saw you with your ex, Jayvee. Hahaha. But that's okay. As long as you are mine and everything is okay for me.
Jayvee: I'm sorry, Nikka. Sorry kung hindi ko sinabi sa 'yo na may communication pa kami.
Nikka: Five years na ang meron tayo at may anak na tayo, Jayvee. Please don't waste it.
Jayvee: I'm really sorry love but I just want to be honest with you because lately, I started to question myself, minahal ba talaga kita? Kasi may nabasa akong infatuation can be that long.
Nikka: Hahaha. For freaking five years? Infatuation lang lahat 'to? You proposed and married to me and you even gave me a baby and you are telling that you are just infatuated with me? That's bullshit! Please give me an acceptable reason next time, Jayvee. I am an attorney and you can't fool me.
Jayvee: I'm still in love with my ex, is that an enough reason to let you go?
Nikka: We have a son, Jayvee so don't you ever dare to come back to your ex and leave me! I'm begging you.
Jayvee: Hindi naman ako aalis sa puder mo but that doesn't mean I am choosing you over my ex. I just chose our child, Nikka. That's it.
—
Hindi ko na kinayang basahin ang convo nila at binigay ko na kay Ate ang phone niya. Sobrang basa na ng mga mata ko sa kaiiyak. Napatingin ako kay Ate and for the first time in years, I saw her crying.
"That's the life you will have if you love a broken person, Anna. Because based on my experience, I'm just a stop over in his life, giving him shelter while waiting his destiny to come out. So next time, never love again a broken person. Because it's either you will fixed them or you're the one who will get broken at the end. And when you get broken, who would fix you? None! You are lucky because you are still young and you can still find a man who can love you without any other woman or sidechick on the story. Because as for me, I am already married with a broken man. So learn from my experience, Anna. Choose the love that is for you and choose the love that chooses you everyday because you deserve that. Every woman deserves that kind of love."
Iyak lamang ng iyak si Ate sa harap ko habang ako ay namamanhid na sa sakit. She cupped my face as she spoke her last words.
"And that is an advice from an attorney. Isang attorney na pinaglalaban ang karapatan ng iba, pero hindi magawang ipaglaban ang pagmamahalan naming dalawa."
***-End***

Relate or Not?!
**[October 19,2021|Tuesday]**
Hello, fellow writer and reader! How's your day going? I hope you're doing fine. These past few days I've been thinking about making a topic about memes because it's a trend, especially with teenagers like me. I just want to share my thoughts about memes I got on Facebook.
I just want to say my reasons and why I relate to them or not.
***Let's go...***
Relate! Relate! Super Relate! 😂I'm not saying I'm lazy when it comes to my school activities, but sometimes it seems like that lol! What I do so that my cellphone does not distract me is turn off my cellphone and put it in the drawer so that my eyes can not see it. But my hand betrayed me, so I could just see myself holding my cellphone and lying on my bed, scrolling more and more on Facebook. So sometimes when the deadline of our school activities is near, I'm like a fool looking for answers to my activities and anxious about the papers I'm holding lol! So lesson learned, don't let yourself be beaten by ourselves because we will also get tired eventually. I hate my cellphone already lol!😂
Okay! ***Relate*** 🤣I always doing this, i make my parents laugh first and give a few small talks about what's going on in the news and when they're in a good mood i tell them i'll go out first and bond with my friends, when i let them know they allow me to go out and bond with my friends because they say I'm always locked up at home and I'm going to be a white lady because I'm so white, they already know mama what I'm doing to them when I give jokes and talk about what, sometimes when I approach them they will say "we already know what you're going to do ,first don't let us be modus modus ,there when you talk we already know that you want to bond with your friend, right? we're right ? " and I, their kind son, immediately nodded.
No, I don't relate to it. I am always active at night and I am always awake, so no matter what time they call me, I always answer and sometimes when the friend is broken, she always asks me for advice, but I, his stupid friend, am more and more reminded of the past of two of them. He flings, so she cries even more when we make a video call. They always call me bitter when it comes to love. They can't blame me because I have a dream to fulfill and the love later na yan😂
***Relate much***!lol! I've been a Korean drama fan since I was in seventh grade, and now that I'm in tenth grade, I still watch but not active like before. This is my favorite line when my body wants to sleep but I have goals when watching Korean dramas.I should be able to get 2 or 3 episodes per viewer because when I can't reach them I feel like I'm angry with myself and can't relax in bed. But now that I do a lot at school, I'm not very active in Korean Drama because I prioritize school activities. I used to neglect my studies because of watching Korean dramas and movies and my mom scolded me that's why I'm rarely view some Korean dramas now😂
*These are my favorite memes on Facebook and I can relate to the works of our Filipino compatriots. Hehe, so far I know what I want to say and I hope you like my reactions and thoughts about what I do. You? You? Do you relate to this meme? just comment if you relate in this topic 😂*

***And another thing I was wondering: why do we need to downvote the works of our fellow writers? It's sad to think that the article you wrote is not liked by other readers or writers. It's okay to downvote an article, but for me it is discouraging because you are tired of thinking and writing and then suddenly dislike it:(. It's okay if you don't want my article. You can scroll to other articles. I'm not mad; I'm just sad because the time and hardwork of thinking about what topic to write about is already tired. Yes,I'm not a perfect author in this platform but please tell me if I did something wrong.😊✌️***

How to spot a wrong person and a right person
[October 18,2021|Monday]
During my highschool days, I was adored and glorified by men in our school because of my ethereal beauty. With my impeccable cheekbones, aristocratic nose, luscious lips, hair that is dark as it fell upon my shoulder and infectious smile, men would easily fall in love with me without exerting efforts and sweats.
With that blessings, other girls would get insecured because I had everything--- the beauty, the fame, the wit and a kind heart that they wished for. But little did they know, I still had experienced being cheated, fooled and played just like a normal person faces.
In fact, I already had seven ex-boyfriends and all of them broke up with me. My three ex-boyfriends found another girls, the other three fell out of love and the last person ghosted me.
And with that painful past and bitter experiences, I would instantly asked myself, where did I go wrong? Did I fail as a girlfriend? Was my effort doesn't enough to make them stay and happy?
All of those questions bugged me but were left unanswered not until I met Jeremiah, my current boyfriend.
We met each other when I was in College and I fell in love with him in a short span of time because aside from having a "marupok" heart, he's also sweet, funny, intellegent man and has a kind heart that really resembles my ideal guy. His handsome face is just a plus.
We both graduated in College with flying colors and our future was already planned out together. I knew and I feel it, right at that moment that he's the one that was destined for me. He's the man who would send me in front of the altar while saying sacred vows. He's the man I could envision who will become the father of my kids. He's the man who would stay beside me 'til my hair turns white and 'til my mortal body finally lose its heat.
We are now on our fourth year anniversary and he's still consistent as my boyfriend since the day I answered him.
Our relationship went well not until I was diagnosed of having a stage three breast cancer and there's only 30 percent for me to survive.
My heart broke completely after knowing that bad news. In three months, my hair falls little by little until I became bald. My weight depleted and the bones in my body were kissing my skin. I looked so horrible and fragile.
I thought Jeremiah would dump me after I became ugly caused by my illness but he still stayed beside me. It didn't hinder Jeremiah from loving me. In fact, he even love me more during my dark times.
And everytime I am on the verge of giving up, he would encourage me to fight and survive.
"Let us use that 30 percent to bring back your health into normal, love. You are not alone in this battle because you have me." That's the phrase he kept on saying like a broken record and my heart would instantly melt.
He took care of me and showered me with all his love.
After two years of battling against my illness, the doctor announced that I am now cancer-free and totally recovered. The doctor even commented that it was a miracle but it wasn't. It was the prayer, the unconditional love and care of my boyfriend that healed me.
When I got healed, I asked my boyfriend, "Why did you choose to stay after seeing my worst state?"
He answered, "Because I'm a right person." He paused and he kissed my forehead.
He intently stared at me and said, "A wrong person would still cheat and fool you even if you have everything and they would still find another girl even if you gave all your heart. Not because they aren't contented but simple because, they are wrong persons for you. But when you are in the right person, even if he saw your worst state, he would choose to stay by your side. He will accept all your flaws, blemishes and imperfections because he loves you without definite reasons. Wrong person will still cheat to you even at your best but if you are in the right man, you are enough even at your worst state."
After hearing him saying those words, my questions were now answered.
I am enough and worth it, I was just in the hands of wrong persons.
And now that I found my right man, I know that there's a happy ending that awaits us.
***-End***

He fell out of love
[October 17,2021|Thursday]
My boyfriend and I have been in a relationship for 6 years.
It wasn't a secret relationship. In fact, open kami both sides. Everyone around us was even looking forward on our wedding. Especially our families, who had so much high expectations that we would end up together.
Some would say, we are match made in heaven even if we are pursuing different careers. He's a doctor while I'm a lawyer.
We both met when we were in College since we went into the same university. I was there when he was still a student. I was there during his feats and downfalls. I was there when he topped the Medical Board Exam and I was there, too, when he finally worked at an institution.
I became his shelter, his safe haven and his number one supporter of his dreams. I could even remember how I got injury delivering those reports he left for submission. I remembered how I stayed during the moments when he felt down, hopeless and frustrated.
I stayed just to make sure that he has someone to lean on and someone whom he could consider his "home".
Before he took the exam, he told me that I was his inspiration and he kept on muttering things about his plans and goals for our future.
Right after he topped the board exam and worked in an exclusive institution, our relationship became more stronger. And slowly by slowly, we were fulfilling the future we dreamed and planned for years.
For six years of being together, we never had any big fights in that long time of span. Kung pasensiya lang ang pag-uusapan, Mark could've receive an award for having such a long patience and wide understanding.
He'd never allow me to sleep with a heavy heart. He'd always find ways just to resolve our issues and stop our fuss. He'd even set aside his ego and pride when needed. Mas gusto niyang okay kami kaysa sa tama siya.
Our relationship went well naman not until I became overly bothered by this co-worker of his.
He denied it a million of times that they are nothing but just friends. No malice.
But his actions always fail him.
When I had a fever, I badly needed his presence that time but he chose to attend a group event where the girl was there.
When I left my work early so we could go out together and have a quality time, he never answered my call only to find him laughing his heart out on the street together with the girl he told me not to bother with.
My boyfriend did change a lot. Kaya niya na akong tiising matulog na mabigat ang pakiramdam. Kaya niya na akong iwanang mag-isa. Kaya niya na akong pabayaaan na lang.
When I confronted him who's really that girl in his life, he even blamed me saying, "You changed a lot. I thought you are a woman who never gets jealous! Alam mo, nakakasakal ka na! You are being too needy! Gusto mo palaging sa 'yo lang ang oras ko!"
And that hits me big time.
He called me needy.
Then I'm sorry for being too needy. It's just that my love is bigger than his.
That night, I was expecting him to fix everything which he usually does but instead, he started packing his things up, telling me that he needs space.
Nagulat ako. That's not the man I used to know. He wouldn't just leave me alone like this! Hindi ganiyan si Mark!
When he demanded for space, I was left devastated but I must respect his decision. Maybe, I really am too needy that he felt suffocated.
That's why, I gave him the space he needed. No chats, no phone calls and all.
A week later, I was expecting that everything would be alright but when I received a chat from him, my heart shattered completely.
He told me, "I'm sorry, but I fell out of love. Hindi na kita maramdaman. Wala na 'yong saya gaya nang dati. Naubos at napagod na rin siguro ako. Babe, I don't need space, what I need now is a permanent separation. Let's end our relationship, Alyanna. Hindi na ako masaya, I'm sorry."
Upon reading his message, my whole world completely collapsed. Ang sakit. Sobrang sakit.
How can he easily thrown our six years relationship just like that?!
Two weeks since we broke up, I was surprised when he officially set his relationship status with his new girl on Facebook.
Damn it, how can he easily replaced me like that?!
Na sa gitna ng pagdadalamhati ko, nakahanap na pala siya nang iba!
Funny how he told me he's just a friend but here I am, being replaced by the same girl he protected.
Yes, they both looked together. Pero mas maganda sana silang tignan kung wala silang sinirang relasiyon—mabuo lang silang dalawa.
When he told me that he was just fell out of love, I didn't believe him.
Because for me, you just can't easily fell out of love to a person whom you are in love with for six years. Not unless he's cheating.
Yes, I understood that a person can be tired but if that person really loves me, he would get up from his feet and love me again after the rest.
When I saw my man moving on with his new girl like nothing happened between us, like there was no six years that we both shared together, I realized that Mark never really fell out love.
It was just his excuse to escape in our relationship.
He never fell out of love. Hindi siya napagod. Hindi rin siya naubos.
May bago lang talaga siyang mahal.
