Under a Spell

I was all alone in my bed It's nearly midnight but I can't sleep Memories about us filled my head Caused me butter tears to weep I hugged my pillow tight While pain kept on teasing me Trying to ignore it with might Yet it penetrates inside of me Minutes passed and time welcomed the dawn And with weary eyes, my tears ceased I freed an exhausted yawn And finally, put my mind at ease I sighed with complete relief As the taunting sin subsided How burdensome it is to keep Persisting despair you have inflicted But then, I finally made up my mind To dry my eyes and say farewell Leaving everything in the past behind And put an end to love's agonizing spell As I can't write an article today, I decided to offer you poetry because my mind is still circling on the finale of a k-drama I just watched 😭 Lead image from Google.
