I paid a visit to my subscription list after quite some time and to my surprise, they were much than I expected. That's probably because of my chronic commenting habit on noise. I unsubscribed to some channels but some of my favorite users also post on channels. If they make a post on these channels and I want to comment, must I join the channel again or is it does subscribing to them alone suffice?

Unfortunately you have to subscribe the channel. I'm on very few channels to tell you the truth... I always put a heart tho.
I have been unsubscribing to some of them too. But they seem too many lol. I can't even remember when I joined all of them.

Some channels it's complusory you join. While others you don't need to join for you to make comment But I can't really say because all my friends are mostly on the channels I post
Those channels where you can make comments without joining are actually chambers. All channels created by fellow Users need to be joined before you post or comments.
