In the shade of the leaves I found a larvae of a Ladybug. Funny to see how this aggressive looking insect turns into a lovely Ladybug. @friendlymoose

I shot one of those a few years ago wondering what the hell it was, I was rather surprised to find out it was/would be a ladybug.

  I just discovered it last summer too. Since Ive been shooting macros I pay better attention to insects 😃 I had to use an app to determine what it was and I was surprised too. Nice capture!

Great photo! I hope you didn't disturb it too much, (or, God forbid, squish it!), because those guys eat a lot of aphids and other pest insects.
