Yesterday I posted a photo of what I thought was a Cicade, but it was actually only the shell thT the Cucada hatched from. Today I finally found one, or actually two. It was quite hard to find them because they have the same colours as the trees. I've added another photo where I zoomed in on the pretty green eyes of the cicade. At first you never noticed that they were there because they camouflage with the tree. But then when you zoom in, there they are. Amazing how you can detect them and capture them so well.

Close-ups are fascinating these cicadas. Perfect macro! For me, the song, the sound made by these cicadas is the sound of summer.
