Patience

Waking up today was different I have to think about the article to write and also think about my coming examination which we commence starting from next week. On my way to the library I remembered a story about "patience" which my grandmother told me when I was a kid about a 60year old retired lecturer Michael chinedu lived in Ajah lagos here in Nigeria, all through his life he stayed in lagos, he was a lecturer at University of lagos, he retired at the age of 55 year old after been involved in an examination malpractice but he was later set free due to the investigation carried out which was based on the fact that he was innocent by the head of the university. after that situation had happened he decided to retire and settle down with his wife Bimpe Adedayo because he was treated badly for what he didn't do. After two years with his wife and children at home, he doesn't come home early again always in one party or another, spending his savings money including the money in joint account with his wife.one day he came home drunk he noticed some changes in the behavior of his children towards him, he started questioning himself are these children mine he just develop hatred towards them which was caused by the effect of abusing alcohol. His wife was always complaining about his attitude and change in behaviour. So one day all alone he said to himself "I can't allow this woman to treat me anyhow I have to find a fault in her" so he thought of taking DNA 🧬 test for his children and he told his friend who was also once a lecturer, and his friend also supported him then advised him to run a (DNA) deoxyribonucleic acid test and also told him he shouldn't tell his wife because it could cause serious problem between them. so, on this very day he secretly run deoxyribonucleic acid (DNA) test for his 6 children after 30 years marriage with his wife Bimpe Adedayo which is on their 30th year anniversary of their marriage, he had to pay more than the normal price to get the DNA results out early. so he told the doctor to send it via email after sunday service because they had to go to church for Thanksgiving. on getting home he saw the results, and all results came out all negative, he was very angry he had to call his friend first telling him the results and claiming he would kill his wife today. when he got home the wife was still in church so he had to wait for her, on doing so he continued hurting the 5 children mercilessly threw them out of the house, he almost killed one of them, he told them that he is not their father that they should get out to look for their real father and also placing curse on them. The wife came back from church after few hour, reaching home but didn't see the children and the man started slut shaming his wife. She asked her husband what happened, why all of a sudden change in behavior, what about my children, the man said she should go and ask her husband that she gave birth to, the next thing she saw was a knife in her husband's hand, before she could ran, it was too late. She saw herself falling to the ground with blood gushing out from her stomach almost halfway dead on the floor. after 2hrs which that incident had happened, the husband saw 30 missed calls from the hospital, he called back just for the doctor to tell him that the result was not his own that it was a mistake and that his results are out and all his child belongs to him! A mistake he said!! Tears ran down from his eyes, his hands began to tremble and he almost fainted. He saw his dying wife on the ground with blood all over the floor he tried to hold her but his body was too shaking that he fainted on waking up he found himself surrounded by policemen so he quickly picked up the knife and killed himself. because he was impatient he wanted the result of the DNA to be out earlier and he was given the wrong DNA results because of that and he also lost his wife.
