I'm reading an old sci-fi novel written by Neal Stephenson in 1992 "Snow Crash". It's a glimpse in todays Metaverse as predicted 30 years ago. One sentence just struck me: "Y'know, watching government regulators trying to keep up with the world is my favorite sport." And the speaker explains some sentences later: "It's like they figured out a way to regulate horses at the same time the Model T and the airplane were being introduced."
