Sharing the process of my version of Colors of Stobosa in La Trinidad, Benguet, that I painted using gouache. this is the last time (month of May) that I use my gouache coz I'm practicing watercolor after that. I started with sketch so I have an idea with the placement of those houses. The perspective was not perfect coz it's hard esp. the blue building, hahaha and I don't want to stress myself with straight lines lol. I thought the perspective was the most challenging but it's the grass and the flowers. I painted first different flower but it got messy, I'm not satisfied. Aside from the flower, the right shadows and shading in the grass also gave me headache, but when I'm done. I just love it. I've learned to always trust the process and don't criticize your own artwork first. You should trust yourself and the process as well.

That's a wise lesson you've learned with this job. I had a similar experience recently. I thought I was making a mess, but restored my confidence and got satisfied when the paint was finished. Your piece is very colorful, that's always nice to see. Even when the perspective is not perfect, as you said, there are some eye catching details. I love the green spiral on the yellow wall and some forms inside the windows. Personally, I think gelly guache can be tricky, but as always, practicing is the key.
