It's the last Sunday of the month of November and a day to thank God for the blessings received. People who are celebrating the day faced the same difficulties in life, but they determined to come to God in prayer for help in overcoming the challenges they faced in the past. There is no better way to remember the end of the month than by thanking God for all that he has given us. He is the giver of all things, and it's an act of humility to recognize that He gave us all things.

Humility is a good thing. If forces us to acknowledge our limitations, and not make presumptions about being more powerful than we really are. God is great. As his children, we may reflect His greatness by standing in His light.
