"Obsessions" Day#4 of Writing for 30 Days Hey Readcashers! Wish you happy Thursday! Hoping of all great in your lives🌸. As you're aware of the 30 Days of writing challenge and today in is the 4th day. Today's trigger of writing is "Obsessions". Aniko writes: "We all have issues that obsess us, and obsessions are powerful, says Natalie Goldberg in "Writing down the bones". According to her writers always end up writing about their obsessions, what haunts them, what they can't forget, what they carry from childhood". And she's so true in saying that obsessions can never be completely concealed from others, they know the way to come and show themselves. They can be seen in one's talk, in writing, in silence, in anger and the means which are not even noticed by us. That obsession can be anything, it could be of tea, coffee, a thought, a place and even a person ( the most powerful kind of obsession in my opinion, if someone is obsessed by a person he/she can never be heard talking or relating everything to that particular person, isn't it?) So now, let's just get on things to which I'm obsessed with. Actually I'm a adapter time of person, I can leave or have something if circumstances ask me to do so. I would never be rigid in my demands and things I want. But I would really do want them deep inside me, and to me that are obsessions too. Firstly I would mention, my obsession of "Art" and "stationery". I think everyone of us has a child deep inside us, who wants to have the most coolest and unique stationery items. For me it has increased to have more kinds of artistic mediums, like I have watercolours( which nowadays I'm really having need to upgrade because they are giving me much satisfaction in their results), oil paints, different sketch pencils, different kind of markers, a variety of sheets and many more. What I want to add is, some sketch books, canvases, some brushes and other alike stuff. I had always loved to draw since my childhood. But as gradually I grew up, end up listening to pay more attention to my studies and I knew this was not hindering my studies in any way, I was excelling in what I was doing. I don't know why I just stopped talking about it more, may be to satisfy them. Now I have realized that chasing what you like most is the rightest thing to do. But I don't really much talk about my art to them, but I do end up sharing it to the people who take interest in it( the power of obsession, I guess!). I'm obsessed with nature (like literally). I could end up staring at it for my whole life. My obsession does not ends on just views and plants, but also animals, birds and even insects ( yesss, that's true😁). I'm not even scared to insects. If there's a frog 🐸 in my room, I would simply pick it with hands, leave it at a safe place. Whenever I'm eating something, a cat or dog always gets treat, and has a part in it. I remember, that one early morning in my hostel, I saw a grasshopper which was not in a good condition. It looked like as if someone steps on it. I took it to my room, applied some oil on its legs with one of my brushes, and left it in a box with some grass in it. After my academic time, when I saw, it was quite healthy and walking. It remained with me for a whole weekend. It used to climb up to my head from hands( that was really sweet). Some people find it really weird when they see me with them, but believe me I really love these little creatures. I think that's enough for today. Further writing might be too much for you guys, but I have written a lot about them in my diary. Trigger for tomorrow writing is "sleep", to write about the dream last time you had. See you again☺️. Till tomorrow 👋🌃
"10 Things" Day#3 of Writing for 30 Days Hi Readcashers! Hoping you to be having great time. As you all know that today is the 3rd day of writing for thirty days and today's slogan is "10 Things". Aniko tells that writing has a lot to do with learning to be present. Natalie Goldberg says writers live twice: first the actual situation- going to the market, crossing the street, eating, fighting and then the written record of that situation. To write down about all experience does not require a sharp memory but asks for a mindful presence in a moment. That mindful presence can be achieved by writing about all things around you which easily get ignored. Write about them as if you are telling someone who is not present there with you. So today I'm gonna write about some things which are around me right now and some of them are ones which always remain on my mind. Right now I'm sitting in corridor of my home. Soft air is breezing around, filled with the smell of flowers of orange plant, present on the left side of me, it is refreshing to the soul. On the right side, there a cage of birds. They are all having a sound sleep. Some of the birds have babies in their pots, which gradually wake up and disturb their parents. That's really sweet. Having a family vibe!🥰 There are some barking dogs outside the house. We give them food daily, so they spend their nights here outside our home. Sometimes they do really disturb by their barking but they are good for safety. When any of us goes outside they follow us to the place we are going to. Sky( obviously above my head🤭) is usually starry nowadays, but today it is covered by the scattered clouds hiding the stars that are beautifying this sheet. Today when I went to the roof of my house, I noticed that if we look toward the backside of my house, we can easily see where the population ends, a place from where greenfields start along with a view of distant dam, that was pure aesthetic. There's a table in my house which we use on daily basis to have our meal, it's more kind of stool. But the cool thing about it, is that it was the one which was used by our grandfather. It is used as every other thing, but I wonder how was it if that table could speak and tell us how generous was our grandfather and tell us about the situation our grandfather had lived through! I have never met my grandfather but I have always listened about him not only from my father but other people of the village. He's in a true sense, my role model! I was just wondering that if there was no mirror, and there might be a time in human history with no mirrors, how'd it felt. Like no one would know how he/ she looks like. There just would have a point of view, just a view through which we could only see others. I wonder how we humans are able to forget about death, the ultimate truth of our lives. A life that is destined to end. How well we are at taking things for granted, we don't even consider the realities and just following the flow. We don't look for the things that really matter. There's a huge pity in my heart for us , for humans. Have you ever considered that how much we have normalised things, that we are living in a universe that has not been even seen. We are nothing in front of all that, we are as germs are to us, unnoticeable, unconsidered. Last thing is the star that I'm seeing through the those scattered clouds , that bright thing far away, emitting it's light to show its presence, to show hope, to tell that distance doesn't matter to make your presence felt. Alright peers those were the 10 things from me! I hope you enjoyed reading. Now the next trigger for writing is "obsessions". Writing about the things you feel are always on your mind, things you always need to show off. Obsessions make their way out and make themselves prominent even though we don't intend to convey, they just reflect in our character and conduct! So do support and have fun! Wish you a coasy night 🌃 Bye-bye 👋 Picture credit: Twitter, @ImagesAlbum
"Autobiography" Day #2 of writing for 30 Days Hellooo Readcashers! I hope you all would be doing great. Today's slogan is to write story of your very own story life. So without wasting time let's get on to our motto! I was born on 3 May, on Friday. My birth coincided with the death of one our neighbor's mother. So he and his sister used to love me a lot saying that you were the replacement for our mother. He was one of my favourite uncles( by the will of Allah, now he's dead too😔). I lived and I'm still living in a village. You people might have experienced how often people visit each others homes in village and children are quite free to go here and there. But I was little bit more than that😁, I was youngest not only in my family but in all of my neighborhood, so you can have an idea of care and love I got. I just used to spend noon and nights in my home, all other time was in my cousin's home or in neighbouring. Then I started going school. It was a really small school of my village. We used take classes in open air and seldom we got chairs or benches to sit on, usually used to sit on ground or some piece of cloth. And I think we were the last generation to attend school like that, upcoming schools, even in villages are quite well off nowadays. I studied there till 5 Grade, and then i was shifted to a boarding institute , as my parents had no other choice. I was almost among the first girls in my village who got to go outside for studies, but I'm happy that number is increasing day by day. The experience of boarding can never be defined in words. Although it has some demerits but having strong bond with your family saves you from alot. I was quite into sports and used to participate inter house competitions in games like volleyball, handball, throw all, cricket and most of all I loved to play basketball 🏀, i was captain of basketball team of my house. I used to be quite spoiled in those days, you can guess how sporty people act😂. You know bunking classes was the Ultimate skill( but now I have changed my self alot). We had a gang type group of friends. And the most important thing I'm really love to draw, paint and sketch, just love art. My be I would share some of my artworks here with you guys!( I wanted to persue it as my career my somehow I couldn't ). Now I'm still studying, and as I told you I have changed alot like if my school life friends see me that how serious I take my studies they would not believe in there eyes and my university fellows still don't believe that there is any chance of me being a class bunker. In university I never bunked a single class (didn't skip any classes unless it's something serious). Here I only have one friend (again I have changed 😂). I'm still working on myself, trying to make my days productive , to learn and apply. I literally sometimes feel exhausted but you know there remain only 2 options then, to give up or to keep working, former can give you nothing but regret and later will pay you off in one way or the other! So that was all for today. Slogan for tomorrow is "10 things". Now Aniko says to write about any 10 things that you didn't paid heed to, that you never noticed in your life, it might be the view from your window, the tree you have in your home, the unnoticed old piece of furniture, it can be anything. Being mindful of what is around you matters a lot. You guys can also follow up these topics with me or if you want I can share the link of this challenge so you could do it on your own pace! So see you tomorrow ☺️. Have beautiful and gorgeous life ahead!🌸 Bye-bye!👋
"Why?" Day#1 of Writing for 30 Days Hello Readcashers! I hope you are doing great in your lives. As I told you people that I'm gonna take a challenge of writing for 30 days, so today is its first day. It seems like a long journey, but I hope it would soon end giving it's sweet fruit. This is what I learned from Aniko: she told , Anne Lamott says in her book " Bird by Bird" that " the act of writing turns out to be its own reward". So when you write, the most precious reward of writing is itself, the process you go through. Because most of us think that writers just wake up and start writing their books or artists just think for a instant and boom they have their most famous artwork in their hands. No matter how much one gets experienced everyone go through a constant anxiety and a feeling of not being good enough. So when we write we would go through the actual process and every process has a result, and process of writing in no way can give you negative results! Now let's give time to our today's slogan/motto i.e. "why" There are a lot of reasons I want to write : To open blocked windows of my mind; I'm really good in studies and I really work to get good grades in my class. The difficulty which I experience is, when I'm writing during exams I lose my fluency, while writing my mind starts to wander here and there. And in the last moment I end up with the shortage of time in paper. But the most hurting thing is when I learned something well but forget to deliver on paper. After exams it's me with my head between my hands! I had decided to talk to my teachers about this but then just didn't! Then I thought why should not I write more! This might improve the coordination between my hands and my mind.(I'm really hoping for the best) To clear and to wipe off al the clutter in my mind: Now there has been a lot of things in my mind which I think are taking over the productivity of my mind. Like some incidents which I have no one to share with, and thoughts which lose their preciousness when they're told to a person who doesn't get them correctly!( Yeah! It really hurts). I want to just jot down what I have in my mind related to something. Want to befriend with the written words: I have and had a lot of friends in my life and also a super duper caring and beautiful family, but there are moments when they can not be the ones you needed, usually you are misunderstood when you open up about something. And most importantly with friends, in times I become too emotional and tell them about my feelings and later when they refer to them in a joke or a taunt, o my god! it literally shatters my heart! So writing down my feelings would give a record of emotions and situations, to which i can resort later to take a look on them and ponder upon them, I hope I would find out my best friend in them. I think Writing down my thoughts into words would give a physical form to them. A form that might not be that organized but would have some sort of structure. That was all my peers! I hope I didn't got too emotional. I was just being honest. I'm telling here all this is because I always wanted to have some strangers and tell everything to them and just erase them from my life.( That's weird, isn't it?) The slogan for tomorrow is "Autobiography". Now Aniko says to write a story of your tell about your life and most amazing part you can lie about something, for instance you can refer to scenarios you never experienced about the age you never lived( you can write from a point of view of an older person, o my god how exciting it's getting 😊). And you also don't have to clarify what was truth and what was lie, just playing with imagination and words!🌸 Okay well, that was all from me. I'm hoping to know if your writing or about to start a habit of writing, what are your reasons, I promise they will never be judged by me!♥️ Bye-bye!
First Article! 😊 Hello everyone! I hope you all would be doing great. This is my first time using this app. I have been looking for some online medium to write and literally tell anything that feels like to be shared.I have been trying to improve my writing skills for a long time, one of class my fellow introduced me to readcash. And really liked it. It's beginner friendly, easy to use and last but not the least, it pays you off! I'm currently working on a "30 days challenge of writing" by Aniko Villalba. I got introduced to her by Domestika. There was a course of her on that app, I got to her very own website there, from where I found a 30 days challenge of writing.(it's not a promotion at all, just sharing my experience) According to her, it approximately takes a person 30 days to develop a habit. As I was looking to develop a habit of writing so I did subscribed for it ( and most excitingly it was free, though there were some courses for sale, but I went for budget friendly mode😛, didn't want to spend money at all). She had given some slogans for each upcoming 30 days. You can take "slogan" as a key word around which all the writing of that day will relate to. I know everyone who is fond of stationery would have a nice notebook or a diary which you think is too good to be used, may be due to the fear of spoiling it or waiting for the "right time" to use it. Don't worry you're not alone in this anxiety, I have also got a "nice notebook" which was waiting to be used so I took a decision to use it this time no matter how it goes( hoping for the good🙂). I would not only use my notebook but also this nice and friendly platform to share what I had got to say and it would be lovely to carry on this challenge with you guys. So, today was the introductory day of this challenge, for tomorrow the slogan is "Why?". It means why do you want to write? As I have mentioned above about improving my writing but I have many more to talk about my reason for writing. And likewise, everyone has his/her own purposes and reasons to write. I'm really excited to use this app, and read, what you have to got to say. I'm anticipating the response of you guys and your very own reasons of writing. Stay blessed and have a great day!🌸
