Crochet Sunflower Bouquet Valentine's Day is coming and almost everyone is looking for a nice present for their loved ones. Amongst the crochet community, there's a hype with these Sunflowers. Almost every single time I open my facebook and check what's new, I would see beautiful crochet sunflowers made by talented crocheters and I was quite inspired whenever I see that they receive a lot of orders and commissions for their sunflower bouquets. Ofcourse I saw the hype and the occassion as a business opportunity so after a few days of convincing myself to try and make a sample, and successfully made one, I spent some time scrolling on my favorite online shop app, Shopee, and find the yarns I needed, making sure to choose the best and the most suitaboe colors since I don't have any on my stash. Needless to say, as it was the current trend, it was really hard to find the right colors and a good quality yarn on the same shop. So I had to do the color combination just a little different than usual which is a very vibrant one. I decided to choose a bit of a paler version one, which made it look a little vintage, which I personally think is very aesthetic. Given the circumstances that I can no longer find a more vibrant shade since it is mostly sold out. So I just bought dandelion, soft brown and moss green yarns. Also, I made sure to buy a vintage kraft paper, a black wrapping paper and a nice golden satin ribbon. I am such an amateur when it comes to this so I made sure to consult Pinterest first before buying the materials and just decided to keep it simple. For a few days, I waited for the parcel to be delivered and Oh my goodness, when it arrived, I was just soooo excited. Luckily, I did not have any pending commissioned projects at the time so I had the time to make personal projects and I decided to make sunflowers again, just three, so I can use them as my sample and so I could post them online. I had a bit of a struggle with wrapping them but it turned out nice and decent enough. I made sure to use natural lighting, with no filter and photoshop to really capture the real image. It was beautiful. I love it. I posted it on my social media accountand after a day or two, I had several inquiries to commission them and in the end, I had a total of 3 order reservations. Definitely happy! I don't think I've ever had as much order at once before. I am just so happy that a lot of people actually liked my creation. I love the attention that they were giving to my product. I just hope I can finish all of them in time and that my clients would love it.

Snow White crochet dress I had a client that became a regular one, which is a first, whom I just knew after she had asked me to make an aurora crochet dress for her baby who has turning a month old at the time. It was a rush order. I only had 4 days to finish it and luckily I have the colors available so despite having two other orders at the time, the other one to be shipped out the same week and not yet finished and the other one also an Aurora dress for another baby, which was ordered the same day as the one mentioned before. It was hectic and somewhay frustrating because I don't know which one to do first because they were both asking for updates. But I managed to finished them both and deliver amd ship all of them on the deadline date. My client then told me that she would ask me to do another dress on her baby's next month celebration and I was excited but I didn't think any of it because it happened to me a couple of times when a client told me that she chooses me to do an outfit another time but never does anyway but it's fine. There's no hard feelings. And then a few weeks later, she messaged me again to say that she wanted a snow white dress and I wasn't expecting so I was surprised and I said I'm glad to do so. I was so happy to hear from her again and maybe she really liked the first one I made for daughter. We transact and I did the dress. I made it for a couple of days and delivered it to her again. I was so happy that she liked my creations and I felt proud of myself. This month, she also already asked me to make her a cinderella dress for her little one who is turning 3 months this month. I'm excited. I already ordered the yarns I need. I'm just waiting for it.

My unicorn themed hand-dyed cotton yarn It all started when I saw a post on one of the crochet groups on facebook where she died her yarns manually and the result was really good. I was immediately inspired to try and make one for myself too but at the time, I didn't have any materials. It has been almost a month or two since I saw the post and I almost forgot about it when I saw more and more posts of people doing the same thing, even selling the yarns they made. So I was more interested than ever. I just had my birthday last week and days before that, my sister asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I already know the answer. I asked her to buy me natural cotton yarns and a few dyes so I could start dyeing yarns. The yarns arrived before my birthday and since then, I was so eager to try and dye my own yarns. I was so excited but then I had no time Yesterday, my husband went on a trip with his cousins on another town and I was kinda bored as I have nothing else to do other than take care of my little one so I decided to take the yarns out and prepare them for dyeing even if I wasn't sure if I could dye it the same day. I only prepared 100 grams of yarn. Since I don't have any special tools to do the job, I just used an unused box where I kept weights inside so it doesn't move around while I do my thing and my yarn basket. I measured the cone first, and it was actually 450 grams but because of the cone inside, it became 500. So I had my weighing scale and took yarns until it was only 400 grams. I then tied them together loosely using an elastic and tied the end of yarns on the elastic so I would know where it is. And kept it aside. Whilst I was washing the dishes in the kitchen sink, I figured I would do it then. So I prepared my soda ash and dye and then boiled some water and prepared the container. I poured the boiling water on a container and a cup of soda ash and dissolve it then put the yarn in it. Let it soak for 15 minutes and then wring it a little just to get rid of the excess water then put boiling water on another container and then mix some dye and dissolve, put the yarn on it and let soak for 15 minutes. I repeated the process a couple of times with 3 different colors and then once done, I rinsed it on cold running water til the water runs clear. I then hang it dry, but I was too excited it roll it up so I put in infront of a fan so it dries uo quickly and it dried up last night maybe around 11 pm and I started winding it manually although it was pretty hard to do cause it was tangled. I really love the outcome and I am planning to make more when I have time. I wanna sell it. I wonder if people would buy .

My cow print bucket hat I made this as a requirement for a C.A.L or Crochet Along Program on one of the Crochet groups I joined on facebook. I started this 3 days before the raffle started. We were allowed to use any bucket hat pattern we have so I decided to be a bit creative and try my luck at freehanding. I used indophil yarn which were leftovers from my previously commissioned projects, and a 3.5 mm hook. I started with a magic ring and made açsingke crochets inside it. How many? I forgot. I didn't really take notes, I just did it trial and error style. At first try, I didn't really switch colors for the cow print until I'm done with the base cause I thought it would be complicated if I try to switch colors on the base since I would have to constantly increasing still so I just waited till I'm at the "retain row", that's how I remind myself that I won't be increasing nor decreasing on that row, which was the body of the bucket hat. And then came the switching of colors and the cow print pattern. I tried my best to try and make a form of cow print but it wasn't easy and it's not cute. It was my first time to try it though and I gave up after a couple more tries and decided to consult my trusty Pinterest app. I search a cow print chart for cross stitch, a bit of scrolling and I found a good one. The chart was pretty small and hard to see but I managed to do it. I also did the color switching and cow print pattern even on the base. It was definitely very tricky to do the color switching as I'm not really good at it and definitely need a lot more practice. The fact that the pink one is lighter than the navy blue yarn, makes it almost impossible for me to hide the yarns underneath. I don't like cutting it when switching colors. I just wanna do it continuously. Nevertheless, I managed to finish it and the people who saw it really likes it saying it's pretty and I'm really glad about that. I wasn't able to make a pattern as the cow print chart isn't mine either and I don't think it's fair to make a pattern out of someone elses work, right? I was planning to sell it though but my husband said he really likes it so I let him keep it. I'm not planning to make any more of it anytime soon as it was time-consuming and tiring. I want something that ai would really enjoy, cause while crocheting it, my hands gets really tired because of the tight tension.

My birthday surprise I celebrated another year of life yesterday with my family and it was really fun and memorable. I am an introvert that's why I try not to attract people's attention towards me as much as I can but my birthday proved it almost inevitable. Days before my birthday, I told my husband that I really don't want anything to do on my birthday, I just want a simple day like any othef day. The day before my birthday, I told him that i'll be going to my mom's house and want to stay there on my birthday while he's at work. That way, I would prevent my husband from making a birthday celebration at our house, which happens to be just around his relatives house. I'm just really too shy to celebrate with them and let them greet me. I honestly feel uncomfortable. So my sister came to fetch me and we stayed there at mom's house and they decided to cook something up so I just went with it atleast I'm more comfortable with the and helped cook up some food. It was almost 6 when we finished and I told my husband to come over so we could eat together. A few minutes later, he comes over with 3 of his cousins, all of them carrying trays of food and my husband carrying a bunch of balloons with money and chocolates inside, it looks so beautiful. I was surprised that he would put so much effort on me and I don't feel like I deserve it. I'm so happy and we took pictures and stuffs.

Today is my birthday! It's the 16th of November and I'm celebrating another year of life. Over the course of years, I was able to overcome a lot of struggles and hardships, and accomplish certain things that I didn't know I would, and for that, I'm proud of myself. During this year, I was able to learn new things that helped me improve myself. I can't promise to be the best but I promise to become a better version of myself. Today, we're having a tiny celebration at our home with my family. We're cooking some food that I helped to prepare and that I am glad of. We made some chicken macaroni salad, mashed potatoes and gravy, chicken wings, and we're currently roasting 2 whole chickens while also preparing some spaghetti. I really love helping in the kitchen and I'm more than happy to prepare some of these dishes which we've never made before. My mom just bought an oven and she's been trying new dishes ever since. Western dishes to be specific. So she and my sister tried roasting some chickens in it. We also tried making mashed potatoes and it was pretty easy, so I made it myself. I just washed then cut up some potatoes then boiled it until fork-soft. Once done, I drained the water from it and put it in a bowl then mashed it up with a masher. I then added all-purpose cream on it since we don't have heavy cream. I mixed it really well with a spatula until it's nice and smooth. Next, I added some salt and pepper on it to taste. Since I am not following a recipe, I just kept eyeballing the ingredients and readjust it depending on how we want it to taste. Once it's done, set it aside and my sister made the gravy. For now, my mom is just making the sauce of spaghetti but the sauce is already done. We're just waiting for the roasted chicken to finish. Once, everything's done, we're gonna tuck in.

Last summer's Terno It has been almost 2 years since the pandemic hit and affected us all. From quarantines and total lockdowns. It has impacted our lives. Not being allowed to go out that much and do the things you wanna do. Since my daughter was born last year, she has never experienced the life and fun outdoors. Since she was just a baby, we were very careful not to let her out the house, and we can't go out of town or visit somewhere too since most of the places are either on strict quarantines or lockdowns. Until after some time around February, I think, some towns lifted their quarantine and people have been allowed to visit their beautiful tourist attraction although it's not as popular as many others, there is still a few people who came over to have fun. It's a waterfalls and the water was really clear and cold. My mom insisted that we go there withour daughter and my siblings. It was a 3 hour ride from the city we live in and a 10 minute walk from where all cars and vehicles were parked to the falls itself. A day before we went there, ofcourse I was sooo excited and I remembered my daughter doesn't have any outfit suitable for it to wear when we get there. So I immediately get some of my yarns and started working. I used some inspirations from pinterest and I chose a one shoulder top with a matching shorts. Since I didn't wanna watch a tutorial all look for a pattern, so I don't have to waste my time searching for it, I decided to freehand it. It's very quick and easy. That afternoon, I finished the top and added a daisy on the middle. And I figured I can't finished the shorts that night as I am to sleepy and I don't wanna feel sleepy in the morning so I slept early and woke up early so I could prepare our stuffs and make the shorts. It was an easy one too, I finished it just a few minutes before my parents and my siblings arrived to fetch us. I was really happy with result and the way it fits on my baby girl.

The Art of Transfiguration (Crochet Version) It's been exactly a year since I learned how to transfigure yarns and turn them into crochet projects and so far, I've finished quite a lot of crochet projects. From a magical tiny chicken keychain which I had bewitched to cling on your keys, to a chunky bolster pillow that sends hugs from miles away. I've been enjoying my crochet journey so far. It was definitely hard at first and you start with making one project that will keep you occupied for days, even weeks whilst still practicing and learning. So far, out of all the projects I made with my trusty wand (hook) (made with a single ply of wool from an acromantula's hair at it's core and mahogany wood), from commissioned orders to handmade presents fpr my beloved witches, wizards and house elves, I've managed to transfigure myself atleast two. One, a not so pretty scrunchy that I only made cause I lost all my scrunchies, and had only lasted 2 days until I lost it this morning, and a sunflower granny square tote bag that I made out of my scrap yarns, and when I say scrap, I meant scrap, like scrap scrap. 'Cause they're really the scrap types, they're not even the same ply or thickness and not even the same type of yarn. Milk cotton making up most of it which I also had in different plies. I used both 8 ply and 3 ply which I know is so different when it comes to thickness but I had to use a tiny bit of black magic with my wand (hook) to make it thick enough to not make it look too different and weird when I'm done with it. I also used some 4 ply indophil yarns, and fine cotton yarns. Really, they have varying thickness, milk cotton being the chunkiest and the fine cotton, as the name suggests, very fine, so it's kinda hard to manage them all but I did. I had to use some techniques and spells that I learned during my days at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. When you have limited resources you really have to find ways to make it work, somehow I managed to summon the inner wizard in me and transfigure these stubborn yarns. This sunflower granny square tote bag is a very popular among wizards (crocheters) and the fact that I didn't have bag fo use whenever, and the fact that I actually have scrap yarns that has almost the same shade as the ones I saw, made me wanna try and have a go at it. So I went to the library and consulted my Pinterest spellbook to look up the spells on how to make these sunflower granny squares. Luckily, I managed to find the one and was quite happy when I finally got the hang of it and make it. I was so excited when I finished it that I immediately took photos of it and perform an enchantment to make the photos look nice. I had it published on the Daily Mail so people could see what I made and as if I drank Liquid Luck, almost immediately, I received mails from unfamiliar owls, and read them to see a lot of inquiries whether I sell it or accept commissions. Luckily, I had one who had placed an order but she must have thought it a bit expensive so she ordered a different one instead, a dufferent design and cheaper price. I'm glad and grateful.

The Lady From The Mirror When I was a child, probably about 8 or 9 years old, we used to visit our dad since my parents are already separated and we lived with our mom. We went to our dad's place for the weekend just to visit him and play with our cousins. In front of our dad's tiny house is our aunt's house and on the left side was our grandmother and grandfather's house which was almost abandoned since they live in the U.S. But we sleep there and stay there sometimes and I always thought it was really creepy in there just because there isn't always anyone in there unless my brother or my cousins are playing in there. The house was a bungalow with three rooms, a living room a tiny desk with book shelves on the side, a kitchen, basement and a bathroom. The first room is for our grandparents which was locked since they only come home to visit from the U.S. The second one which is in the middle is our aunt's room. It's locked most of the time but sometimes my cousins sleep there cause my aunt is also in the U.S. The last one is our dad's room which he doesn't use anymore since he already has a tiny house inside of the compound but our brother uses it. One time I was asked by my aunt to get something in our grandparents house particularly on our dad's room. It was midday and it was bright but silent. I used the backdoor from the kitchen and I was already halfway through, when I saw a figure coming out of the huge vanity mirror located in the living room and in just a few feet away from the door of our aunt's room. She slowly walked towards our aunt's room which was locked and stopped midtime and turned her head towards me. I was frozen, I was just so scared I nearly peed my pants off. It was a lady in white with her long black hair covering her face reaching her waist. She then slowly proceed to go infront of the door of our aunt's room and disappeared. I finally got the courage and ran out of the house as fast as I could and told my sister and my younger cousin about it and they believed me. I wasn't able to get whatever the thing I need to get in the house so I asked them if they could accompany me. And they did with my younger cousin even carrying a rosary with us. We went back and I no longer saw anything and finally got the thing I was about to get. I know it's funny and probably just my imagination since I was still young at the time but it really scared the hell out of me. Since then, I was always scared to go alone in that house. My brothers who live there, with their girlfriends, also said that it was actually scary to be there. Even to this day, they even told us their scary experiences while staying in that house.

Got burnt? Just a few moments ago, I was feeling a bit hungry for I only ate sweetened mung beans for breakfast. So I went to the kitchen to boil some water so I could have some flavored instant oats. But I can't find the kettle, maybe because our neighbor had borrowed it and haven't had the sense of mind to give it back so we could use it. I can't be bothered to go over their house to take it back so I decided to use a pot instead. So I went ahead, took a tiny pot, filled it with a cup of distilled water and put it on the stove to boil. A few minutes had passed and it was boiling so I poured the instant oatmeal on my bowl and time to pour the boiling water too, but maybe I ran out of luck cause I can not find any potholders anywhere! Goodness gracious, is there a ghost in this house? When you need things the most, they tend to get missing! Back to the story, instead of feeling annoyed and delaying my snack, I grabbed my towel, wrapped it around my hand, and grabbed the pot with it so I could pour some water on the bowl. 3 seconds in and I felt a sudden sharp pain on my fingers and I realized that the heat from the pot was seeping through the towel causing my fingers to get burnt. I instanly, let go of the pot filled with boiling hot water and spilled it's contents to floor. Luckily, I was far enough not to get spilled with that hot water and cause further damage to myself. My fingers were really painful it was tingling so I went to the sink and submerged my hands with cold water but it doesn't seem to work. It was too painful! The tingling was intense it seems as though it has a heart on its own, beating. I can't really moved my fingers cause it hurt a lot so I grabbed some ice with my left hand and iced the fingers on my right hand. Ah. It was soothing, what a relief! The tingling suddenly stopped. So, ice it is! I iced it for a couple more minutes and now although still a bit painful, it's actually more manageable but I can't put much pressure to it yet causing a problem. I might not be able to crochet today, and I can't go on a day without crocheting. I also have an order to make. I also can't crochet with my left hand so maybe this is the right time to practice, right? It's starting to develop a blister now, I just hope it will be fine soon enough so I could get back to work. Lesson learned: Never improvise in the kitchen.

French Toast? I had always been a bad cook. Always messing up my cooking, but nevertheless, I try, even if that means having to eat bad tasting food. My sister on the other hand, seems to have mastered the art of cooking. She always manages to make delicious food, fortunately. One time when I was maybe 16 or 17 years old, we visited our aunt from another Province and stayed there for about a month. My sister had the idea of cooking french toast, something I never had before and didn't know of until then. So we went to the market and bought the ingredients. She explained that it is made by dipping sliced bread on a mixture of eggs and milk and frying it on a pan. To me, it was pretty weird, but it sounded like pancakes so I assisted her while she did the cooking and after a few minutes, it was ready. I must say, it was not much like pancakes. I was blown away with how good it tasted and how good a cook she was. We finished it in a matter of seconds because ae shared with our aunt which was also delighted and even asked if there was more but iyyiunfortunately, we already ate it all up. It was an instant favorite and I long to have some more. Fast forward to today, after so many long years, just this morning, I tried to make it using the "knowledge" of the recipe my sister shared years ago. Eggs, bread and milk was all I can remember. I didn't look it up on Google nor asked her about it. I just cooked. And remembered when I mention I wasn't a good cook? Well guess what, I am right. While it was still kinda edible, my tummy is just acting weird after having a couple of bites. While I was cooking it, I thought it was missing something so I put a generous amount of salt before frying it on a pan with margarine and oil. It's definitely a bad idea. Now there's a still a few pieces left good thing I only did four slices of bread or I would have to deal with so much food waste if I did the whole pack of bread. Wow. I really am a bad cook. Is it my taste buds? No, because I know what tastes good and what's not. Is it me not following instructions and correct measurements? Definitely! Lesson learned? Hmm... yeah? Well, I learned my lesson but I probably won't be able to measure ingredients because we don't have measuring tools, we just eyeball the ingredients and wait for our ancestors to pat is in the back and tell us it's enough, or maybe I just won't cook anymore.

Flowers made by me for me I've been married with my husband for a year and 6 months now. He's a really sweet guy who loves giving surprises. Even before we got married, he would always surprise me with some flowers or sweets. He would even ask me to come over his place so he could cook for me. Even now that we're married he would still do that. One time, I think it was our monthsarry or something, I'm not sure what the occasion was but I think it was something like that. A few days before our monthsarry, he asked me to make him some flowers so he could wrap it on a flower wrap to look a little bouquet. So I crocheted three flowers and some leaves to go with it. He said he was gonna give it to one of his elderly colleagues, an old woman, whom he said was very nice towards him. It's fine because I know that he's fond of old ladies since his grandma just passed away. I thought he must be missing her, and see her elderly colleague in a grandmotherly way. He said he was gonna give it as a birthday gift for her. So I finished it and he wrapped it nicely on a flower wrap to look like a bouquet. I was so pleased with it and took photos before he gives it away. A few days had passed and I remember it was monday, the day of her colleague's birthday. The night before, I made sure to put the flowers inside his bag so he won't forget to bring it. Then he went to work and I did my household chores. A few hours had passed and I noticed the flower left on the table. I called him to say he forgot the flowers and he said he's just gonna take it tomorrow and that he forgot, which I figured out later on, was a lie. I didn't think any of it and proceed with my chores. Noon came and he's finally home. I was in our bedroom with my daughter and my husband went in, handed me a box of d onuts and the flowers that he made me do. Then greeted me a Happy Monthsarry. I was genuinely surprised because the truth was I forgot the occasion and I didn't have a gift. But he said it was okay. I was happy because even if I had forgotten our monthsarry, atleast he didn't. I am happy and thankful for the effort and thoughtfulness and the little trick he played which he told me that that was his way to make me make something for myself and not just for anybody else. That was a lesson to me. That it's not selfish to make something for yourself too, no matter what it is.

Order Gone Wrong I have been crocheting for almost 8 months, and during that I span, I've only received quite a few orders from different people. One in particular is this minnie mouse inspired costume. The client asked me how much it was. Inexperienced with pricing, specially this was my first time having an order for this set which consists of a tube top, skirt, headband, and shoes, I made a quick guess and just told her it'll probably cost atleast 1,000 pesos, which I realized was too cheap of a price considering the time and materials I consumed doing this. By the way, I used atleast 6 balls of red Monaco mercerized cotton yarn, single pull, 2 balls of the black one, with a 1.75 mm hook, half pearls and rubber soles which I cut into shape myself. It took me almost a month or two to finish this doing it on and off because I was also busy preparing invitation cards, birthday costumes and souvenirs for my daughter's birthday last June, and also I was making orders for standee letterings, not to mention, I also have household chores to finish everyday and take care of my then 11-month old daughter. All these made it really difficult and there was soooooo much sleepless nights because of the very hectic schedule but I still tried to beat the deadline. The deadline was 10 days before my daughter's 1st birthday. I was soooo stressed. She also ordered some birthday souvenirs, a tarpaulin, cake and cupcake toppers. We did ask her to pay atleast half of the price just to avoid cancellations and everything and also because we're gonna use the downpayment for her orders. But she didn't gave any because she said, she doesn't know how to send money online and no one's available to come over our place and pay the downpayment. Since we know her, we just agreed and we started doing her orders. I started taking note of her orders and asking her if she could come over so I can take measurements on her daughter. Unfortunately, she cannot come over so she told me that she's just gonna take the measurements herself. I taught her how to do it and she took the measurements and sent it to me. We also talked about the design she wanted. She show me the design that she wanted and told her I could do it. I asked her to confirm everything including the colors and told her about my conditions. Told her that the design and colors can't be changed once I started it. She agreed. She told me not to rush. So I started doing the project and while I was doing it, she suddenly had soooo many requests. I know it can be overwhelming and frustrating but I tried to do my best. She even went as far as telling me to change the design in a specific way and I didn't wanna argue so I just did what she said since I haven't started the skirt yet and I still can modify it but I didn't realize that the design she wanted me to make will eat up sooo much yarn and took soooo much of my time because of the ruffles. I still did anyway although it stressed me out, really. She even told me to make her a freebie! Oh my gosh! At the time, I just told her that I'm gonna try to do so if time allows me and if there would be some leftover yarn. Good thing I had some materials to make earrings so I just did it. After almost a month, I was finally done with it and soooo over it. She asked if she could get it and I said she could even if she hadn't paid for it. After trying it on her daughter she told me that it didn't fit her. I already told her before that I can't modify the size after I'm done because I would have to rip it and work all over again and told her that she has to make sure the measurements were right. Oh! I was sooo stressed! I seriously had a headache and almost a breakdown after she told me that she wants me to readjust it. After a few days, she returned it to me. I gave myself no choice and I did it for her. I fixed it and after I'm done, gave it back to her. This time it's okay, she said, not nice, but okay. Well, it's fine, I told myself, I can't please everyone, maybe I just wasn't good enough. By the way at the time she paid her orders. But only half. She said she can't pay the other half yet. Well, what can I do right? I'm a little stressed out considering everything that just happened. The night came and I saw her myday on messenger, with the picture of the inspo photo that she wanted me to do and a caption saying, "Too bad, you're the one I wanted". 😢 Oh, how my heart broke. I just cried. I didn't know what to feel. I thought I did good until she made me feel it wasn't. I was kinda mad, frustrated, sad and disappointed. It was all negative emotions. I told my husband about it and he was so mad also. The next day I sent her a message telling her that it's okay if she just told me straight up wht she really wanted, that she hurt my feelings. I was just venting out and trying to point out what we talked about before regarding her orders. I wasnt rude or anything I just tried to tell her those in a nice way. She then replied and told me I can take it back if I want to and that she's not gonna use it anymore. I told her she can't do that cause I won't be able to sell it since it is a customized order. I said wesorry and didn't reply anymore. I didn't talk to her. I didn't care if she was gonna pay the remaining balance or not. I juet wanted my peace of mind. After some time, she paid the balance. We didn't talk or anything. I no longer care. I was just hurt. I can't let anyone do that to me. I just moved on and carried on with my projects. I told myself that that would be the last time it would happen to me. It was a lesson learned. It must be my fault, I don't know. I'll just keep doing what Im doing.

Hello everybody I'm new here! I'm eager to write sooo much about everything! I'm gonna try to post regularly but I can't promise since I'm a busy mom of 1 kiddo and a part time crocheter. Are there any tips or piece of advice you can give me regarding read.cash? Thank you

My crochet journey Hello everyone! I'm new here and thisi s my first time to write about my thoughts. I've always wanted to share my thoughts to the world and read.cash has given me an opportunity to do so. I'm not good at writing and I'm not that fluent in English but I'm still gonna try. Just call me Fancycrafter. I'm already married and we have a 1 year old girl. Ever since I was young, I really loved making clothes, sewing and even designing clothes. I used to make clothes for my dolls and I would also keep a notebook full of my designs. One of my dreams is to become a fashion designer. I would even watch Project Runway all the time. So when I gave birth to my daughter, I had this idea of creating clothes for my baby because I want to make a specific style that I thought would look good on her. I researched the types of fabric and stuffs and the materials that I'm gonna need in order to sew baby's clothes. Until one day while I was watching on YouTube, I saw a tiktok compilation video of people, mostly teens, creating crocheted garments and stuff I watched it and I was so amazed at how good they were with this craft because of their amazing projects. It inspired me to learn how to crochet. I then started watching youtube tutorial videos on how to crochet even though I didn't have the materials. I would really learn through them and try to do it in my mind. Even though I haven't tried or practiced yet, I knew I can do it. So I still wasn't able to obtain the materials needed for it and I was sooo sooo eager to crochet. I would even dream of crocheting. I then started looking for yarns and the materials such as hooks and stuffs on an online shopping app. I didn't have any idea of what yarns to use and thought they were also expensive. So one time I told my husband I really wanted to crochet and he told me that he saw yarns on a Japan Surplus store. I asked him if he could buy it for me. He didn't respond. After a week, he came home from work and gave me a plastic bag. I opened it and to my surprise it was a bag of YARNS! From Japan Surplus. Oh! I was soooo happy and touched. I was so thankful and I thought I could finally start crocheting. But there's one problem still, I didn't have a crochet. But there was a circular knitting needle given for free by the owner of the store. I didn't know how to knit. But I was too bored so I watch YouTube video tutorials on how to knit and quickly learned it. I was even able to make a dog's jacket after 2 days, and a shirt for my baby. It was also fun to learn. After some time, I asked my husband if he could buy me a set of hooks and he did. He bought me a set of hook and right a free receiving the parcel containing the hook, I immediately tried it. I was sooo excited at the time. It wasn't easy at first. It was a lot more confusing than I thought it would. But after some time, I got the hang of it and I was able to make a crochet top for my first project. I was quite please with how it turned out but there was a lot of mistakes. It doesn't matter because I know it happens. I just have to try and try. After some time, I decided to make a page for my creations and sell some of them. My projects aren't much recognized but I'm still trying my best and learning to improve my works. I then started getting commisioned works from people. I only had a few customers but I am hally to say that I put a part of my heart doing their orders. It is a hobby and also a part time business. I haven't done much yet but I know someday I will. I want to do my own designs and be recognized too but I know it's still a long way ahead. But I dreamed of being a designer, didn't I? I think I did but not in a way I expected it to be, but still, in a way, it happened. So someday, I know my dreams will also come true. This is just the beginning.
