Teens and relationships I hate it when we're clingy about relationships. These days, it's hard to find a young man or woman focusing on self improvement instead we all want someone in our lives. Our girls now give sex in exchange for love and when you ask them why they have decided to allow themselves to be maltreated by their lover, they'll boldly whine that he's taking care of their needs and leaving him isn't an option because they can barely find a good man who can take care of them. So they wallow in their own foolishness still forgetting that in this present world, women tends to be more successful than men if only they can find their feet and explore their potentials of being independent than depending on a man who doesn't respect them. I'm not saying that it's wrong for a young fellow to build a relationship but the massive urge for this is responsible for the domestic violence, heartbreaks and even suicide because when we're not patient enough to improve our values while waiting for love to find us, we force ourselves into settling with someone who barely loves us except for their selfish desires which could be either looks, money or sex. With the current perspective of we the young about relationships, it shouldn't surprise us why young girls are now victims of domestic violence why our young men indulges in youthful vices just to please the opposite sex with affluence, designer clothes and gadgets because these days, you'll barely find a girl who will want to build a relationship with a young man who is yet to be successful as they deem it. We forget that success isn't measured by wealth and luxury but by inner contentment, honor for oneself and respect for others. These days we find girls roaming the streets with men old enough to be their dad because the young men can't give them all the luxury they desire. Relationship is the best gift to humanity but shouldn't be misunderstood for luxury and sexual urges. True relationship is understandable when two people understands that no one is perfect but they're perfect for each other. Isn't it high time we begin the journey of soul searching within ourselves in order to become a better partner and lover than chase after woman and men when we actually have no value to improve their lives. Money can buy a girl to your bedroom but can never buy her genuine love because love is priceless, it is something that finds a man when he least expects it. Let's focus on building our worth by understanding who we are, what we really want and what we can give in return before venturing into a relationship because of sex or peer pressure. Thanks
