My favourite Movie
Although, many people best movie will vary because people love things differently but currently, many people are talking about **COMING TO AMERICA by Eddie Murphy** in my country so I see that as one of the best movie in my country as many people are dying to watch it.

This movie is more of a Comedy and talks about an African Prince, named Prince Akeem who was pampered by his parents because he is the only child and heir to the throne of Zamunda Kingdom.
He had slaves who did literally everything for him. He had a male servant who brushed his tooth himself and had a female servant who bathed him, he was never allowed to do anything himself even when he asked for him to do those things himself.
As he clocked 21 years old, his parents decided to reveal to him is long groomed wife who was trained just to be his wife, a woman he has never seen before. She was trained to submit and do everything he needs but Prince Akeem wanted nothing else but a wife who will love him for who he is and not for his tittle.

On the day he was to meet with his supposed wife which was his twenty-first birthday, big celebration was made for the supposed marriage proposal, when his wife was presented to him, Akeem realized he needed more than what he was given, he needed true love, he needed a woman who had her own will and so he summoned up the courage to reject the marriage telling his father he needed 40 days to go and look around the world before he came back to accept the arranged marriage by his parent King Jaffe Joffer and Queen Aoleon.

He was bent on finding his own wife and true love, so he decided to travels to Queens, New York with his closest friend Semmi in search for the one who will love him and be his queen.

He finds himself in the rural area and on arrival, their luggage and jewelries were stolen but Prince Akeem was not interested in all of that because he had enough of them and decided rent a shabby house which does not speak about his wealth and fame.
He stared is search for his wife by going to every bar, church and market he could find a woman but he never found one he was looking for until he was advised one day to go into a charity organization that was going on that night, there and then he saw Lisa and decided knew that was the kind of the woman he wanted as a wife.
He decided to blend in with the people of New York which prompted him an his companion to take the job of cleaner in a local burger bar called Mc Donalds which was owned by Lisa's father Cleo McDowell.
Lisa was a strong willed woman full of intelligence and she knew what she wanted, she never allowed her father make a decision for her.
Akeem began his flirting session in the bar with Lisa which caught Lisa's attention and made Lisa take a liking to him not because he was handsome but because he was intelligent, smart and humble as well.
At a long run, Lisa's love for Prince Akeem increased when he was able to fight the thieves with his companion who always came to rub the bar of their money and she just wasn't comfortable with her domineering boyfriend who her father felt was the best choice for her until one day her boyfriend and her father who decided to arrange a surprise marriage for her because Lisa's boyfriend was wealthy.

Lisa opted out of the marriage plan and refused to be forced into marriage by her father while on the other hand Akeem took the leading to continue his flirting escape as he struggles within himself not to reveal his true identity to his father and refused to reach out to his father but remain undercover as an ordinary person in search for daily living.
The truth can't be hidden for too long as his companion just couldn't understand why Prince Akeem will go to this extreme just to find a woman when he could pick as many woman as possible in his kingdom as a prince.
He decided to call on the help of the King for financial support unknown to him that the King was going to find himself down to New York. The King came with his full regali and entourage unknown to Akeem and Semmi.
On that day the King arrives New York, Akeem took Lisa out on a date and coming back with her to his house, he realized his father was around so he sent Lisa back to her home unknown to him that his father had already visited his work place.
At a long run, his father knew about his love affair with Lisa and kicked against the affair telling Lisa that Akeem already had a wife he was supposed to get married to and that she wasn't from the royal blood and can't marry his son.
Lisa was devastated and disappointed that Akeem did not reveal his true identity to her so she ran out of the house and no matter what Akeem said, Lisa wasn't ready to listen to him.
Akeem was forced back to his country with his family to go and prepare to marry the his arranged wife, although he wasn't happy but he had no option because he thought he had lost the love of his life.
The day for the marriage came with a sad face to accept the woman unknown to him that the woman in the veil was no other person than Lisa.
Akeem was surprised and happy that he was getting married to Lisa the woman he had wished to marry and thanks to his father and mother who decided to accept his choice of wife as a queen.

I see **Coming to America** to be one of the best movie in my country because it has so much educational information in it. It also taught one to always be his or herself and never pretend to be who they are not. I love the part of Prince Akeem who took a step to change the traditions of his family and do things the right way.
It is a movie for everyone and for all young youth never to fall into the idea of arrange marriage all because of wealth and we should always be humble and respectful no matter the achievement we've reached in life.

Sailing On a High Sea
Joy was an orphan who lost her both parent at a tender age, not for the help of her paternal uncle who took her in and cared for her like his child, Joy would have been homeless.
Although Joy faced so many challenges while growing as she always found it difficult to communicate freely with her uncle and his wife she wasn't a part of their family but that did not stop the uncle from providing all her necessary needs in school and at home.
Even in school, Joy always felt left out because she always missed her parents and would always remain indoor crying because of the loss of her parents.
Joy was an intelligent girl and with the help of her uncle and her intellectual ability, she was able to finish her primary education successfully and with a flying colour.
After her primary education, Joy was enrolled into a private secondary school to study for six years which she did amazingly well, she passed all her examination, won all the competitions she went to with her school and at the end of her six years, she was tagged the best student of the year and given a gift.
She wrote her jamb and so many Universities sent her letter of acceptance but she only choice the one she wanted going for and with the help of the scholarship program given to her by her Secondary School principal, Joy went to the University with ease even though she missed her parent greatly.
She came out of the University with a first class in Accounting and decided to apply for a job in one of the prestigious company but on getting there, the Manager asked to lay with her before she would be given an opportunity to work in their Company.
Joy was bitter as she had no one to run to, her uncle and his wife died during her stay in the University and since then, she has been all alone in this cruel world. This became a storm in Joy's boat as she does wouldn't believe that she would be asked to do such a thing just to get her desired job.
Although she never gave up on her adventure to get a good paying job but yet still no company was willing to get her without asking for her body.
One day, Joy decided to decided to start up a small business for herself since her new landlord was asking her to pay her rent. She started her small business but she wasn't able to stand strong as everything crumbled. Joy's landlord sent her out of the house with her lug gages and she had no choice than to start sleeping under the bridge.
Things became worst as she could not feed neither did she have friend who was willing to accept her stay with them. joy never for once thought of going to sell her body just to be able to get a job because she believed that no matter the storm, one day she will sail through. She kept on praying and believing that one day, she will get what she hoped for while she kept on looking for jobs.
One day, Joy decided to pay the first company a visit with her credentials once more when she encountered the CEO of the company who asked her what she was looking for.
Joy told him her purpose and showed him her credentials, the man was flabbergasted and asked joy why she was still looking for a job with such a good credentials, Joy told him her ordeal and how the manager of his company also asked for the same thing.
Out of anger the CEO called his Manager, asked hi few questions to prove that all Joy said was a lie or truth, after finding out the truth, he wrote his resignation letter and gave it to the manager.
The manager was asked out of the office and company with guards who warned him never to step his feet again in the company because he was a bad influence to his company and the society.
joy was given the position of a manager instantly and given a car and a house to follow and from that day forward, Joy never lived a wretched life. She was very happy she never succumb to life's threat and kept sailing hoping for a final destination no matter the storm.
**LESSONS**
Many at times, like joy, life will always throw to us difficult and challenging situation but one thing we must never do is give up instead let us keep our heads high with confidence and keep moving, keep sailing with the hope that one day, everything will okay.
Life cannot give us exactly what we want but we must learn to take life by force with our hands and sail on with the thought of our destination in our heads.
Just same way we hold the paddle to direct our ship from moving to the wrong lane, so the same way we have the key to our life in our hands and should paddle the way we wish and with the help of God get to our destination.
Be ready to fight for survival when the storms comes while sailing because in life only those who survive after a heavy storm is fit to stand up with their faces raised high smiling.
This story also revolves around our life as a boat and the challenges as the encounter the boat encounters when on a sea.
If we are not strong, it is either the sea storms wrecks us or we go missing but if we are strong, no matter the storms of life, we would always come out strong and victorious.

Manchester United made it to the second position in the EPL table
Like I said yesterday that I would be bring back the full gist of how the match between Manchester United vs West Ham, Liecester City vs Sheffield United went and which between Manchester United and Liecester City sat at the second table.

Sheffield United have indeed been pulled to the extreme by Liecester United and yesterday was a bad day for them as well because they were whipped hard by those guys. Liecester United left the King Power Staduim with a five (5) goal against Shefffield United. This is actually shocking because I never expected so many goals from Liecester guys even though I knew they would win Sheffield United.
Indeed, the game yesterday showed how Sheffield United guys are actually flat and have got low capacity of passing while on the other hand, it was good to see Liecester City back on track with their great passes after a while. It was exciting to watch their match indeed.
Their spirit were high and indeed, they knew what they were aiming for in that match and that was to climb up to the second position in the Premier League table.
I must actually commend Kelechi Iheanacho for his excellent performances yesterday and to see that that guy has been doing awesomely well ever since he arrived from manchester City team. So far so good, this is the best run in the Leicester Side since his return.
The supportive, confident and team work of the Leicester City guys yesterday on the pitch was amazing has they gave the Sheffeild United guys no breathing space to linger around the ball for too long.
Thanks also to Verdy who provided Keelchi with balls in his wins and it is good to know that the striker is back on the pitch with great performance,passing and alertness better than before after his return from injury. Yesterday, Verdy played his best and it was actually outstanding. It is actually unheard of in the Premier league match this season for one player to create four big chances in one match but Jamie Vardy did that yesterday in their match against Sheffield United.
Sheffield United were not just prepared and this season, they are just too below and not been their best. While Liecester City has proved themselves once more this week to be the best team for the second position.
While on the other hand, Manchetsre United at the Old Trafford home against West Ham at the end of the game won a goal aginst them.
I just couldn't help but wonder what would have happened to Manchester United if the match had ended with a goalless score. They would have stepped down to the third position whie Leicester City would have steped up to the second position.
That would have been a big mess for them because it would have been hard for them to get back the second position from the Leicester guys.

All thanks to thier central defender Craig Dawson who scored the own goal in the second-half. That magnificent gaol from their central defender retained them in their second points with 57 points from 29 games, while Leicester City remains in the third position with 56 points from 29 games as well with just one (1) points beneath Manchester United.
While West Ham remains in the fifth position with 48 points from 28 matches they are three poinst beneath Chelsea who are currently sitting in the fourth position with 51 points in 29 matches. Sheffield United on the other hand are in the twentieth position with 14 points in their 29 matches. This guys are really poor.
The Manchester United match were without their strikers Anthony Martial and Edinson Cavani and Paul Pogba who is on a long-term casualty but notwithstanding, I expected more goals from the team but it was obvious the three missing in the match were the ones holding up Manchester United all this while.
It is obvious with the Manchester united score that the match was a tough game as we've always known West Ham team to be hard, challenging and a tough team to be played against and so far so good, it isn't a secret any more that West Ham guys are fighting to get in the top four in the League table.
Although I feel Manchester United did not perform their best to have scored just a goal in a match but I am still happy they were able to sit in their second positon with a goal after all, it is preferable than a goalless match for the United.
The survival of the fittest
Indeed, the boss remains he boss no matter challenges they are faced with. yesterday was a match between Manchester City who are currently leading and heading for the tittle and Fulham and like always, we saw them bring Fulham down with a three (3) goals against nothing at Craven Cottage to prove their point of taking the title in this season's Premier League match.
Today we will be watching so many Premier League matches like the match between Southampton vs Brighton which is going on now live, Leicester City vs Sheffield United, Arsenal vs Tottenham Hotspurs and the last but not the least is Manchester United vs West Ham.

I am actually not interested in other clubs but the only clubs that got my interest is the match between Leecester City vs Sheffield and Manchester United vs West Ham.
The second and third club in the top position in the Premier League that got my interest, (Manchester United vs West Ham and Leicester City vs Sheffield United).
We all know that Manchester United team is in the second position with 54 points while Leicester City is in the third position with 53 points. Manchester United only have one points above Leicester City in the Premier League table.
So thinking about it, the both teams (Manchester United vs Leicester City) are having match against two teams (West Ham and Sheffield United) who are still struggling to stand strong.
Although the West ham team are in the (5th) (fifth) position with 48 points with 2 (two) points above Everton team which we are not sure of them making it in the fifth position they are currently in but whichever way, whatever they performance they are able to give today and in the next match they will be going against Arsenal on Sunday 21st March at about 16:00 determines if they will retain the fifth position they are currently standing or they will fall after the match Everton will be having against Crystal Palace on the 3rd of April on Saturday.

I really won't say much about the Sheffield United guys because they are currently behind the winning zone, they are currently in the last position, they are the last club in the Premier League table. They are in the 20th position and with 14 points so whatever score they have really won't make any difference except they are ready to pass through those teams ahead of them but notwithstanding, it really isn't going to make any difference.
I am so sure that the two match that will be taking place today is going to be a tough match because the end score today determines what position the second and third club will be standing. While West Ham on the other hand will be trying as much as possible to retain or increase their position and points so thy don't fall behind.
The second position is currently a hot seat and only those who survive after the match is legible and fit to seat on that position. I believe the matches are going to be tough especially the match between Manchester United and West Ham because West Ham guys are really good and have proven themselves time and again in so many matches to be fit to be among those in the first five position.
So far so good they proven strong and determined, teams like Tottenham Hotspur, Sheffield United, Aston Villa, Crystal Palace, West Brom, Burnley, Everton and Leeds united have suffered a severe defeat from them even the likes of Fulham and Southampton has ended a goalless match against them while the Brighton guys have had a draw game against them.
So, I would say Manchester United should expect anything and everything from these guys because they are good and tough. They should really upgrade thier performance in today's match because today's match will either take them to the third position that is if Leiceister City has a bigger score over them or retain them if the scores are the same.
Let the ball keep rolling, who will lead after today's match? The survival of the fittest phase 2 has just begun.

Two months gone and Doris couldn't move on with her life. No matter the help the mother tried to help her daughter to bring her out of the dilemma she was in, it just wasn't working for her.
Mrs. Celine had no option than to send Doris out of the country.
Doris on the other hand could not concentarte in work or in anything. She became a shadow of herself, reserved and withdrawn. She was always in her room crying out her eyes and wouldn't go out or talk to anyone.

She didn't mingle or socialise with the people she onced mingled with, she became depressed, sad and always looked sick and afar off. Her cheerful attitude were no longer seen neither was she able to concentrate in her work place and her employers noticed it and tried to talk to her about it but it all fell on deaf ears.
Mrs. Celine arranged for her departure and so Doris left Nigeria for the State but before she left, she decided to go and pack her belongings from the apartment she and Grace lived together.
When she got there, Lo and behold Anthony and Grace were having an argument but she pretended like she did not hear them argueing since she had to stay in the car for some time to put herself to order before going in.

When she came in, Grace tried to act all lovey dovey but Doris wasn't interested but walked into the room pretending like she did not see Anthony there, packed all her things and was about to walk out when she was stopped in her track by Anthony.
Doris, didn't wait to hear what Anthony has got to say but all she knew she did was slap him and walked out of the house into the car. The waited in the car for a while before she drove off.
In the state, Doris was living with her aunt Mrs. Tessy and her two sons Daniel ad Jack and since her aunt knew what happened to Doris so she had to take it easy on her and try as much as possible to help her feel happy.
Doris started work over there and a good paying job since her credentials were one of the best but she just wasn't cut out to socialise. many times, she had walked out on so many men who had tried to express their intentions to her saying "All men were the same" and she wasn't ready to get heart broken again.
Daniel and Jack were just exactly like the old Doris, always cheerful, happy and full of life. many times, they had tried to convince Doris on going out to a party, club or an event with them just to help relief her but she had told them she wasn't interested.
Doris just couldn't hide anymore in her shell because it been past six months and she has refused to move on and she was invited to an engagement party of was one her and Doris was chosen to be her bride maid. Doris just couldn't escape this one.
On that night, she left the house with her cousins since they were also invited to the engagement party. When they got to the venue, even though Doris wasn't quite comfortable with the stare she got from opposite gender immediately she came out of the car, she just had to suppress her anger and pretend like she wasn't noticing them.

But there was this set of handsome eyes that kept staring at her longer, and intense than others did even when she tried avoiding them but she found out she was getting attracted to that eyes.
She just couldn't admit to herself that she was falling in love at first sight, she tried to convince herself that they were all imaginations but again and again she always found herself staring back at this handsome eyes.
She had no option since her cousins had all left her to enjoy the party than to drown herself in wine to help her forget the eyes that were still staring at her back. Gbenga on the other was a Nigerian as well but brought up in the State just didn't know why this beautiful damsel that just walked into the hall caught his attention and ever since she entered, he has been unable to stop staring at her.
Gbenga sense were all out watching this beautfil lady who has taken into drowning herself with alcohol, he wondered why a beautiful girl like her was alone all by herself and he could also sense that she was also staring back at him.
Gbenga thought of going over to the bar to talk to her but he just couldn't because he could sense that she was having a defense over her about men and wouldn't want to be turn down by a lady. He has never been turned by a lady because he was one of the wealthy handsome bachelor in town. He just didn't understand the force behind the woman sitting in front of him and why he just couldn't walk up to her like her used to walk up to any girl he wanted and ask her out.
Gbenga did was he though was good and the only option he had in his mind, he drank up his wine and walked out of the hall to get some fresh air only to be stopped by his bestfriend who was also the groom man of the day and like Doris, he was going to be the best man to his friend.
Without knowing the trouble going on in Gbenga's mind, his friend Femi decided to go and introduced him to the lady sitting all alone to be the bride maid so they could get along. When Gbenga got there, he just couldn't pay attention to what his friedn was saying as he was captivated by Doris smile and her beautiful face.
Femi also noticed the reaction from Doris but Doris was quick enough to mask her feeling and pretended like she wasn't caught up in the whole thing happening between herself and Gbenga.
Femi decided to do what was best, he left them alone to attend to other guest who came to honour their invitation. While Daniel and Jack decided to come and check on Doris so they could go back home since it was already getting late.

Marriage Rituals In Ibibio Culture
Indeed, I am from Akwa Ibom State and an Ibibio girl so I don't think there is any reason why I shouldn't love my state traditional rites even though Christianity has taken over and some families now have to bargain which brings about agreement between both families before so that they give according to their belief. Marital rites like hot drinks, snapp, and the rest of the olden days marital rites will be replaced with some other things that fits the belief of the both parents but before the girl is given out to her suitor, there are ceremonies that take place and can't be skipped because those things plays are a very significant role and are seen as an important part in the Ibibio society.

The Ibibio marital process/rite begins after the woman has accepted the man's proposal to be his wife.
The man tells his family or father who in turn let's his family know about his son's intention to marry, then and there, they fix a good date to go and see and know the girl and her family too. The man in turn relates with the girl to tell her family about his intention and that of his family to come and see her and her family on the fixed date.
This is the first marital process and it is called - **Ndidiong Ufok (“to know the house”)**. It means the boy and his family are coming to know the girl and her families house for the first time.
The girl's family will in turn relate the information to their own family and prepare for the set date. It is just a setting that involves the girl, her parent and one or two person's from her family, and like wise the boy as well.
The soon to be groom and his family visits his soon to be bride's family with a bottle of wine to know the said girl's house and her parents.
Whatever happens in the first stage determines if the marital process will continue. If her family welcomes the boy and his family with a open arms, it means the marriage is accepted, and the process continues but if he declines, he will have to go back with his family or settle whatever differences if need be.
If both parties accepts, a second date is set for another meeting which we call **Nkong Udok (to knock the door)** where the man makes his intentions known officially to his brides family. This is where the official process begins.
This stage, the man visits the family not only with his parents but with some members of his both parents likewise the girl, her extended family are expected to be around, this allows for familiarity between both families.
This time, two things are done, the bride price are given out to the groom and his family for, then there is room for negotation if need be and then and there they arrive at a concrete plan of what they would be giving.
Then, the date of the delivery of the items is usually settled at that spot and the bride's family awaits the day the groom will come back with the items on the list which is called **Nno Mkpo (To give something)**
This is the third process but it does not actually require many people except the groom himself to bring the list such as goat, yam, bags of rice, salt, box, shoes, wrappers, drinks, money, blouse, gele, money and many more.
After that a date for the traditional marriage is fixed which is called **Usoro Ndo (Marriage proper)**. This is the most important day, traditional canopies are set, the girl and her hubby are adorned in a similar attire.
Before the groom is asked to come in or before the process start, the groom's parent and family members are the first to go the marriage venue for what we called **Udia Ibenghe (The preparatory meal)**. This is a time where the girl's family displays all types of cultural food to the groom's family for them to eat.

It is an indoor activity meant only for the groom's family, assorted types of cultural foods are displayed on the table for the groom's family to make a choice of their and they are expected to eat there. Food like Eben ye Akpakpa (pear and maize), Afia efere (white soup)and pounded yam, Edita Iwa ye Mmansang (Tapioca and groundnuts), Afang, Ekpang Nkukwo, Atama, Editan soup, and all other assorted traditional dishes.

After that, the groom and his entourage are invited into the marriage scene but not without them giving the youth and women of the girl's villages whatever they ask of him so that he can have free passage into the ceremony. A wedge is kept to obstruct their entrance into the venue and if they don't meet their demands they won't pass. It is mandatory that the groom and his family meet their demand at that spot.
Some villages in Ibibio gets money while others gets salt (women), while the youths gets ball for themselves. After he is permitted to go into the venue with a danceable song with his entourage. Before he seats, some funny exercise are given to him to do to prove he is capable of handling his wife to be. After the test, he is assured to seat on the traditional hut prepared for him awaiting his bride.
Then the bride is called upon but the bride does not come in until several entertaining processes takes place like bringing several maidens as the bride. During this process, the family of the bride ask the man for transport fare to go and bring their bride claiming that the bride is far away from their and needs transport fare to bring her down. After that, before she returns to her seat, she is given a cup with a drink inside depending their choice of wine. Most times they use palm-wine while those who do not accept that uses wine. she goes to her husband and hands him the cup filled with drink to let everyone know that he is taken and belongs to her.
They walk down to the family ask them to kneel down and together, the family, the church and everyone present prays for them after collecting the cup from them to bless the beginning of their home. Their rings are blessed and given to them to exchange and the traditional cake is cut.

Then the bride follows her groom home but today, the bride remains in her family house until after the white wedding is done which is always done in the church to consumate their marriage.
He Broke My Heart
Doris, I am sorry, I can no longer continue this relationship, my heart belongs to someone else.
Anthony! you mean you are leaving me for my friend grace?
Doris! Doris! her mother kept calling her but Doris was day dreaming about the heart aching beak up that just took place today between her four years boyfriend and her.
She just can't believe that all this while her boyfriend has been sleeping with her bestfriend behind her back until today when she caught them in the room she shared with her bestfriend having sex.
Not only did see catch them but her boyfriend told her bluntly that he was tired of her and would want them to end their relationship right there and now and while tears were flowing down her eyes like streams, her bestfriend Grace was just lying on the bed and looking at her like nothing just happened or like she wasn't caught doing anything bad.
All these years, she had shared with her so-called bestfriend about the attitude of her boyfriend thinking she was her bestfriend, all this while she had been listening to advice from her friend not knowing they were advice from a jealous and hating friend.
Grace couldn't just understand why all the handsome and wealthy guys she ever dreamed of having as a boyfriend always end up liking Doris and approaching her with the intention of marrying her but since Doris was as a innocent as the dove, she just couldn't accept them because she had a standard but none were ready to follow her standard until she met Anthony who was ready to do anything to have her as his wife.
Then what happened, Doris asked herself as she stared blankly into Anthony's eye like she was finding answers to her questions but their was no answer forthcoming. Grace was getting annoyed as the just couldn't understand the sudden silence between Doris and Anthony.
So she broke the silence, Doris, don't you understand English, Anthony just said he is no longer interested in you and he has someone else which is me, so go away and leave us alone to enjoy our life, she said with so much hatred.
Doris just couldn't say anything rather she turned to Anthony who was already getting uncomfortable with the way Doris was behaving he expected her to start throwing tantrums or perhaps pick up a fight with her bestfriend what he didn't expect was this sudden cold stare from Doris and the silent tears that kept falling down her chin like rain drops.
Anthony, Doris called, you mean you are leaving me for my friend grace? She asked.
Anthony couldn't reply her questions so she got into the house, picked up her bags, stuck in some clothe because she knew she wouldn't be coming back any time soon turned back and looked at the two people she once cherished with her heart and called her friends before leaving the building.
She hopped into her SUV car and drove off. With tears, she called her mother to find out if she was at home, without waste of time, her mom picked up the phone and told her she was in.
Doris drove to her mother's home which was in the outskirt of the city but before she got there, her mom was already waiting for her at the gate with open arms, Doris ran out of her car into her mother's embrace with tears destroying what's left of her make-up.
Mrs. Celine, who was Doris mother was a widow and had single handedly trained Doris, she knew immediately her daughter called her to ask her if she was in that something was not right so immediately she dropped her call, she brewed coffee in wait for her daughter and went outside to wait for her.
For more than five minute, mother and daughter stood like that, while Doris poured out heart by crying in her mother's arm, Mrs. Celine understood the unspoken words in her daughter's tears. She waited for her to cry to her satisfaction before she walked her daughter into the house.
And ever since then, Doris has been in a daze trying to figure out when the relationship between her best friend and her boyfriend who she was supposed to be getting married to in two months from now started.
Her mother have been trying since she walked her daughter into the kitchen to give her some coffee which she knew was her favourite to talk to her about everything that happened to her and has put her in such a state but Doris has not been able to put herself together to tell her mother what happened and how it happened.
Moreover, she knew her mother would also scold her because from the beginning of her University days, when Doris brought grace to their house to introduce her as her best friend, Mrs. Celine never liked Grace and had warned her daughter severally to stay away from Grace but all her effort to separate the two girls had been unfutile because Doris really loved Grace and took her like the sister she never had.
She just couldn't help but to accept Grace into her family and home but she always talked to her daughter and always made known her dislike for Grace but things turned bad after their University days when Doris got a job which was far from her own home, so she decided to share an apartment with Grace.
Mrs. Celine just couldn't do anything than accept the proposal and only prayed to God to protect her daughter from wicked and desperate girls like Grace.
Doris didn't know where to start from as she sipped her coffee and looked into the thin air, she actually had no option than to start blaming herself for not listening to her mother's advice but then, the deed was done. She just had to open up to her mother and tell her mother what happened that fateful day.
Doris didn't know what to do or wher to start from, she just couldn't belive her eyes, she wished all that was happenign to her were just dreams and would love to be woken from this bad dream.
She knew Grace to be a wild, and desperate person but what she didn't know was that Grace would go to the extent of sleeping with her own man. I guess she never saw this coming.
She put herself together and told her mother what she saw and what Anthony and Grace said to her in the shared apartment that her and Grace rented. Her mother just didn't know what to do as she cried knowing fully well the hurt and pain the daughter must be going through after encountering such thing.
Now, she is heartbroken, she just didn't know how to pick the peices of her life and start over again like nothing had happened. Would she be able to love again? will she be able to trust again? Will she be able to still be that innocent, cheerful and full of life Doris her colleagues and everyone knew her to be after this incident?

Finally, Leicester City takes over the second position

I guess not only me but many Manchester United fans are disappointed and heartbroken. It is a pity that my fear has finally come to reality in just few days away from the day I prayed that teh second positon would not be taken away from Manchester United. I guess it was meant to be because many for saw this day Manchester United will leave the second position in the league table and it has happened.
Just yesterday been Saturday at Falmer Staduim, a match between Leicester City and Brighton which the score ended with Liecester City taking a two goal against 1 from the Brightons gave Liecester City a free passsage to the second positon in the League table pushing Manchester United to the third positon with 4 (four) points away/above Chelsea and 2 (two) points beneath Leicester City.
Isn't this a shame to Manchester United team and fans to watch themselves once the top positon team go below and settle not just in the second positon but now in the third points because of their inconsistency and lack of taking matches seriously.
We've seen how Leicester City with the help of Kelechi Iheanacho and Daniel Amartey, scoring a two goals against one goal from the Brighton moved to the second position in the League table pushing Manchester United to the third positon with just two points away from them. This guys did an awesome job even though there goal was a bit on a lucky side and a bit late but it took them to the second positon although I am not happy about it.
Although must confess that I thought that the game will end in a draw considering how the first half went, it was poor start i must commend and Leicester City players were a bit loose here and there letting the Brighton team get a score which wasn't good at all and for them but the the good thing is that Liecester City was able to scale through with the help of their defender Daniel Amartey's last goal which was as a result of Brighton goalkeeper error Robert Sánchez who let his guard down and left the net making it empty giving Daniel the opportunity to head the ball into an empty net.
The late goal which was a result of Danile heading the ball into the goal post gave Liecester City the victory and sealed their opportunity of standing the second position and I hope they remain in that position for long since Manchester United were not ready to fight to remain in the second positon in the league table and I hope they have a chance of finishing the league in that positon considering the fact that they have people like the Chelsea team fighting for the top position.
I wouldn't say the game was oweful considering the fact that I am not a player even though I know little of what those guys go through to come out victorious but since it is their professions, I really commend them. They played well, infact the match was wonderful even though Leicester City started bad as they were indeed slow but they did well in the second half. In the second half, they looked more prepared, aggressive,full of energy and in a better form as though they had a purpose at hand.
It keeps on counting that in the Premeire League, Leicester City has a record of 10 league games that they've been unbeaten so far so good while Brighton stays in the 16th position in the Premier League table. The Leciester guys are looking stronger, feirecesr and purposeful everyday as we see them takethe bull by the horn in every matches they attend leaving no stone un-turned.
I must really confess that the Brighton boys did a great job not just great but excellent as they are really good in stopping the Leicester City boys from earning a goal for themselves in the first half. They played well and tried to create a good defend but it was obvious that they just couldn't sustain the tackle for long and break the Leicester city or make them give up as they've been known over the years for playing well and still making a mess of themselves.
They lack ability to do things at the right tiem and are slow in making decisions, they make decisions when it is no longer necessary making it look as though they always come to the field unprepared and ready for anything. I must confess that they lack the ability to make hay while the sun shines and this has brought them down and dragged them down below our expectations.
Certainly I must confess that the the first half of the game was a great one from Brighton side but the second half was bad as the Leicester City guys came back with full force leaving no space for them even though the Brighton guys had great opportunities to have left the field with a draw or with the victory, they made so many errors that are just too many for them to have dominated the second half like they did the first half which earned them a goal and lost to Leicester City guys.
The Brighton guys a really below has they've dropped 17 points away from the winning positions this season, and have also lost a fewer home points in the Premier League this season. They better watch their back and amend their errors if they are really ready to be in Premier League this season. They've made just too many mistakes and need to get a better form to be able to take themselves up because I can smell big trouble coming their way if they continue to make mistakes like this.
They had better watch out for guys like Newcastle and West Brom who will be playing today by 13:00, Fulham boys who will be playing with Liverpool today by 15:00. We hope Brighton don't smell this trouble earlier than expected for them because it will be to bad if one of among these teams make a great turn around today.
We are also aware that Manchester United who are currently in the third positon with two points below Leciester City will be playing today against Manchester City by 17:30 and I hope they will do there best to take back their second position in the Premier League table and that is if it is going to be possible for them.
I am aware that Manchester United won't have the opportunity of carrying th trophy this season but what pains me the most is them leaving the second position for Leicester City to carry, it is really going to be a difficult thing for them to get back on their feet at thsi point in time considering the pisiton they are currently standing in the League table.
While we watch Crystal Palace and Tottenham Hotspurs take up the field at about 20:15 today also, let's anticpate Brighton trip to south coast to face Southampton on the 14th of March which is next week Sunday at 12:00, while Leicester host Sheffield United at 14:00 that same day.
Let's keep our fingers crossed and watch what happens next!
PSG are looking hungry for the title
Who would have thought in their wildest dream that the almighty Barcelona will be defeated even though we know that in football, anything can happen but this wasn't what we thought when it comes to Barcelona.
I wouldn't have believed that Paris Saint-German would have kicked Barcelona's asses to that extent even though I know that they are not in good form and they don't have good players as before but I never expected that PSG would beat their asses in their own home at Camp Nou.
It is indeed a dream, my best football team been beaten in their own home to that extent, even though it was Barcelona who started the game well by opening the scoreline from the spot-kick.
I am really surprised how PSG for the first time will take victory from the Barcelona team at Camp Nou's home when they are supposed to be the one retaining such victory.
PSG kicked Barcelona with a 4 against 1 in the Uefa champions league and it is really devastating for many Barcelona fans who expected Barcelona to take the lead in the victory but saw something else in the match.
Even when the PSG players Mbappe and Moise Keane had scored three goals against one goal I never gave up and expected more from Barcelona but it is really saddening that it ended the way it did.
Indeed PSG has caused big damages to the Barcelona team and I don't think it will be an easy task for the Barcelona team to be able to correct this damage.
We expected the match to be a tough match which it was and also expected it to be at least a draw but we never expected PSG to take the victory.
For the French team to have won the first in the Uefa Champion match in the year, it is indeed unexpected and mouth opening to have won 4 - 1 against the Barcelona team in their own home. I really don't know what to expect anymore.
Is the Barcelona team really living in past glory? This team has always been the best team for me in the past, but what is happening to them all of sudden, they have been under-performing recently and are not ready to take a step to correct themselves.

Happy New week guys, How are you all doing, I guess you all are fine and am sure you had a splendid and fun-filled Valentine yesterday.
Yesterday 14th February which was valentine's day, The Hawthorns Stadium was set out for a match between Manchester United and West Brom. I am sure so many spent their valentine's evening in the gaming center, just so they can watch the match and have fun as well.
The game between the two teams was a good one as Manchester United started the match well even though many expected the match to have ended in favor of Manchester United going home with the victory but it wasn't a bad one as they ended the match with a draw (1-1) leaving them still at the second position under Manchester City but leaving them at 46 points with 7 more points to be equal with Manchester City.
While Manchester City is at 53 points with a match in hand, do you think Manchester United will be able to pass them to the top because the gap is obviously too much for them to just get there any time soon?
The truth is, they may likely never be able to get to the top position of the premier league table again because the points difference between the Manchester United team and Manchester City team is bigger than expected.
Bruno Fernandes's second-half penalty score was a good one and saving grace as it saved the asses of the Manchester United team as recently, they've really been playing lower than expected and it is likely that they may be outfitted by other growing, upcoming and stronger teams like Chelsea and they may not be able to get their hands on the title for the first time in eight years and may not be able to play Championship football next season.
Anyways, I am not given up on the Red Devils any time soon because they are my favorite team let''s just see how it goes on Thursday night in the Europa League as Manchester United will be playing with Real Sociedad.
Until then, let's keep our fingers crossed and hope they become better than how they currently are in the field.

Scott McTominay Made It Happen
Yesterday's match between Manchester United and West Ham United at the Old Trafford Stadium got everyone fidgeting what will be the fate of Manchester United.
We all expected a win from Manchester United even though we knew it wasn't going to be an easy one but the fact that Manchester United boys have always kicked the asses of West ham United in their home gave everyone a high hope.
yeah, Scott Mc Tominay gave the shot even though it was a late one but I bet, it was better than none as it helped Manchester United walk into the FA Cup quarterfinals for the seventh straight season. Isn't this incredible? I guess it is.
Although the players played brilliantly, they need to put in more effort as there were a lot of elapses but Scott Mc Tominay's extra-time goal made the match result become (Manchester 1-0 West Ham) saved their asses.
Manchester United shots, passes, shots on target, and possession were good but they need to put in more effort. Even though they got the win they deserve but the game was indeed an eye-watering bad game and United needs to sensible and smart. They need to put in more effort.
Let's just wait and see how far West Ham United can go as they will be playing with Sheffield United on the 15th of February at about 19:00 on Monday while Manchester United will be having a match with West Brom on the 14th of February.

Imagine A World Without Cryptocurrency
Many of us have heard the news about the government banning cryptocurrency and just yesterday at church few of my girls **(Crypto Ladies)** were all talking about the news and wondering what it will be like without an exchange of cryptocurrencies.
I really enjoyed the chat, we talked about all the kinds of coins we know and their current value, we talked about how many of the coins/tokens we've been able to accumulate in our wallet over the years the likes of **(Sports, Leo, Btc, Doge, Lite, Steem,)** we talked about the current paying sites, we talked about the beginning of Steem, Hive and how we can't begin to calculate how it had been of benefit to us not just financially but intellectually, we talked about crypto and blockchain as a whole and we got knowledge from each other about new things we never knew and should do to earn more income.
We talked about the funny things we've done just so that we could be noticed and so many more that can't be remembered and I asked myself, How will the world have been without cryptocurrency?
The world will indeed be a boring place. No more news about the types of coins we've heard and news about the current site like with a new coin which pays better. we won't be hearing news about the shitty coins and all other coins in our possessions that we've accumulated so many of them but have no value.
Many Nigerians especially those whose cryptocurrencies have changed their lives and status are angry at CBN and I think the next protest that will emerge won't be the #Endsars but #NoToCryptoBan, #WeNeedCrypto, #InCryptosWeTrust. This will become the other of the day and many will speak up because of this.
Crypto although was there right from inception but many people came to believe in it during the Covid-19 lockdown era when many lost their jobs and had no means of livelihood. They began t take steps and now, they are into it and are ready to make a living out of it.
If they really want to ban the exchange of crypto, they should be ready to change back the hands of time back to when people were living their lives normal and depending on their business and not on cryptocurrency for livelihood. That era where we had few people who talked about crypto and its benefits derived with boldness, that era were many who felt and believed that crypto was a scam and will one day crash.
I am among the thousands of young and growing Nigerian youth who are living a decent life through the help of crypto, I am among the thousands of youth out there who have plans of starting up a business with my crypto earning, I am among those who have plans of putting ourselves through school through crypto trading and currently, I am among those who are sustaining themselves, their families and loved ones through crypto trading.
What then happens to us? Where do we go from here if the crypto exchange is stopped? what will the world look like?
Not only will boys go back into the street snatching and robbing people of their possessions just to meet end needs, not only will girls go back into the street using their body to get money (prostitution) to meet their needs and that of their family but the rate of Nigeria unemployment will be on a higher side.
We know and accept that in every community, there is always a bad egg but then letting the good ones suffer alongside the bad eggs is not right and instead of banning, they should look for a way to stop the illegal site that wants to endanger others people's life.
Cryptocurrencies have played and still play a major role in the lives of people and stopping the exchange is going to cause too much havoc in Nigeria and I hope the government is ready for whatever happens?

Failure Isn't The End
It doesn't matter how many times one fails, what matters is if one is ready to stand up and keep moving.
Many people are afraid of failing because they don't want to be scorned by people for failing but then if you don't have the two set of people, that is the people who encourage when we fail to keep moving and the people who scorn us when we fail then we will never want to stretch ourselves.
It doesn't matter whether we fail or not, what matters is what we do when we fail. Do we seat back to blame ourselves and the people around us which causes depression or do we go back, check the reasons for the failure, learn and work on ourselves then get back on our feet to get success?
We are not limited by what people say, think, or do to us, we are limited by what we think, say, and see about ourselves. For a man who is still living, failure is inevitable so why worry or be afraid of failing. Everyone has failed and everyone will fail at one point or the other but it does not matter neither does it count. What counts is what we do after failing.
Failure shouldn't stop us from acheieveing our desired dreams and let us not be afraid to keep running until we achieve what we want. There is no success story without the failure story and no success story is complete without the failure story.
So get your butt up, clean yourself up, learn from your mistake, be on your track then you can now go.

My scars are open

A Caged Heart
Doris, woke up screaming, she couldn't sleep through out the night because she kept on having night mares.
Nightmare that has refused to leave her for the past three years
Her past has become her present and has refused to let her be
Her past has caged her and refused to let her socialize with others
She has become a shadow of herself
Sadness and darkness overwhelms are day
Bitterness has become her daily food and her heart is void of love
Her face is void of smile and that is because her past has kept her caged
She can't get a grasp of her life because she feels empty in the inside
Depression has crept into her heart like a snake crept into it hiding place
Nothing makes meaning to her, so all she wished and await for is death
Her heart is void of emotions and full of regret about her past.
She is caged and her heart is caged.

Dream World
Have you ever travelled before? To where, you may ask?
Not to your hometown, nor to your friends residence.
Neither is it one of the places in the 36 states and capitals.
Have you ever seen yourself in a world that doesn't exist in our world?
In a world that makes you look happier than you are in the world that you are;
Sometimes, all you do is sit and smile,
With your eyes closed, sometimes it is open.
Do you ever wish for something in the real world but can't have it?
Yet you seem to have a grasp of that same thing when your eyes are closed
then you realise you are in another world.
Do you often go to sleep because you want to escape the **REALITY**,
hoping that you will find peace when you have fantasies?
But then you feel totally confounded because you still wake up to face reality.
The world we are in is the reality of life but most of us just tend to love the **DREAM WORLD** which is full of fantasies.
Sometimes, I dream of love that doesn't exist
Most times, I have feelings that are not real
Other days, I have reached out to hands that I couldn't touch
I have seen myself crying for reasons that are not worth it.
Therefore, let us come out of our fantasies and face reality. Let us come out of our dream wolrd and face the real world, so that we can find happiness in our selves.

Many people always feel others are better than them but then, they forget that we were not created the same. Each and every one of us is unique in his or her own way. It is best to be you than to be someone else because you are unique beings and you are created in a special way different from others.
Nobody can be you and there can’t be a photocopy of you because you were created special and unique. Never try to be someone else or try to copy other people’s lifestyle, instead create your own lifestyle and live it uniquely. God never created two people with the same features, characters, or purpose, in all humans be it, identical twin, there is always a difference.
Why let people make you feel you aren’t the best among your kind. You are the best and will always be the best among your kinds because your ability isn’t the same as others. God loves the face He sees in the mirror that was why he created you that way.
You were never created to have the same lifestyle, life experiences as the other person although we all will run the race of life, our experiences about life will always be different and the end result or outcome too will always differ.
Do not look down on yourself because you are unique and special in your own way. Do not let people make you depress or sad about yourself because you were created uniquely and have got all that it takes, it is just that you fail to realize that.
Embrace yourself, embrace your style, embrace your uniqueness, and work towards achieving goals with your uniqueness. Do not copy other people because you can't be them no matter how many times you try.

A brief about myself
Hello all, it nice been here on the platform. I was introduced to this site by a friend of mine two days ago but for reasons, I could not sign in, so today I decided to sign in, join the community, and introduce myself. So I can be able to explore the site and know how it works.
My name is Evelyn Moses David but I go by the name Evegrace on every site I blog, I am from Nigeria and a blogger. I love reading books that have a happy ending and love writing too. So my content will mostly be communities like creative writing, poems, or short story.
I love listening to music, watching movies, and strolling with friends. Reasons, why i love those, are because they help me calm my nerves, think fast, gives me the opportunity to see my surrounding and help me in writing my content. I love movies that I can't stand been distracted when watching them.
Funny enough, as much as I love things, so I have fears and I have a phobia for animals dogs, snakes, and any other animal as I can't stand being near anyone. I have a phobia of height. Oh my God, I hate heights and I am not in the agreement that my hubby builds me a story building Lols...
I love my family and wouldn't joke with them. I will always do everything to make them happy and my friends are included. Although I do not have many friends but the few I have, I appreciate them a lot.
I am here to learn, and earn as those are my goals in blogging and I hope I am given the opportunity to do that on this site.
