Sometimes I disagree with people like Gary Vaynerchuk. What he says could apply to the current western social condition. For example, he says being humble is good, but if you are in asia, being humble is risky. Like if people find you soft while you be humble, they will take advantage or scam you. A lot of western worlds worldview does not work and often it's too sugar coated too. If you are in asia or africa do you believe in everything selfhelp specific in western world? If I were still living in the USA, I wouldn't believe everything Mr. V. says. While it may be true for him, it may not apply to me, or even be harmful in my particular situation. For example, Robert Kiyosaki, (Rich Dad, Poor Dad), says he makes cash flow via debt. Lots of very wealthy people do this. But if you aren't wealthy, and you don't have the resources to take on debt in a fiscally responsible way, debt will ruin you. For most of us, living debt free is a much better solution.
