@Ellehcim

Saturday was the least day I expect to be busy. Yet, because of a new project we have started, there's something worthy to do yesterday. It's a project that's filled in prayers, and hardwork of the young professionals of our church. I continuously pray that it sill succeed so we can all reach our goals this year. In Jesus' Name. Now, it's Sunday, and it's the Lord's day. Unfortunately, lack of rest and sleep might have made its way into my immune system so I woke up this morning with a mild colds. Hopefully this goes away with lots of water. And of course, prayer, as always. Thank You, Lord, for another month!

@Ellehcim

I need motivation to wake up early tomorrow and walk for at least twenty minutes. Motivate me. First of all, tomorrow is a Saturday. I travelled from work and I am so tired I feel like waking up late tomorrow like how I usually do on weekends. But I also want to lose weight, and achieve a toned body. And get fresh morning air. And have more time for the day. Well, I have to wake up early for the better. So, send me motivation. :)

@Ellehcim

Little things make the day better. It's a Friday, and it's a bummer I have to report to office when I'm usually work from home, but I had to, just for this week. I was very sleepy and took a nap while the jeepney traveled, and when I woke up, I got to see almost all of us in that jeepney sleeping. It made me smile from the inside, knowing I am not just the only one tired. We're together out here, navigating through life, and carrying our own burdens. We still wake up, and show up, not just because we have no other choice, but because we dream of a better future for ourselves and our loved ones. Another beautiful thing sonder reminded me of, just when I was about to complain again. Thank You, Lord.

@Ellehcim

It's weird that I could not upvote properly in here earlier. Then I realized it might be the internet, because when I switched internet source, I could do it again. It's 10:30pm right now and I honestly wanted to share the topic of my personal devotion tonight. But I am very tired and sleepy right now, so I'll try maybe tomorrow. My eyes are fighting for their lives and I am blinking slowly, repeatedly. So, to sleep I go! To God be the glory.

@Ellehcim

Seeing BCH rise made me smile today. I feel that this goes on, this community will be back on fire again. And oh, how I miss that era! Everyone's writing here and there, more than just short posts. Many used to sponsor me before, and I also used to sponsor more than 20 writers back then, as my way of giving back. I also remember being inspired by the 1 USD savings a day that I was actually able to use for a personal project of mine years ago. Read Cash community! are you ready to be active and alive here again? :D

@Ellehcim

I am glad to be working without overtime now. Yes, it came with the consequence of having no additional expectation every payroll, but I also benefited having more time for the family and for myself. Well, just a wee whine. It's 31st already and I am expecting the salary since yesterday, so I've checked on the banking app countless times already, and still no salary. Alas, I need more motivation to work until tomorrow! Hahaha, just sharing for the laughs. Anyway, maybe it's because we have a salary increase? and they're working extra hard on the amount adjustments? (Deluluness attacks). They better make sure it's gonna be a desirable pay increase! (delulu attacks again). Happy Thursday, everyone! How's your week vibing so far?

@Ellehcim

It feels like my tummy is about to burst. It's a free lunch for us today and it's a buffet. Despite trying small portions of food, I still struggled finishing it. Until now, I feel so full and it's a little uncomfortable! I still have to work during the day and I am already feeling sleepy. Lord, help me, please, to overcome this day. In Jesus' name, Amen.

@Ellehcim

I got emotional as I prayed earlier. I made it a habit to include in my prayers all victims of gen0cid3, famine, slavery, corruption, war crimes, and the likes, because it is happening in many parts of the world. I also include in prayers the animals, especially those who are subjected to abuse, starvation, animal-testing, unethical meat trade, background breeding, and the likes. Everyone deserves to live a good life. I am so blessed compared to these people and animals who live in fear, hunger, and suffering on a daily basis. Napakasama na talaga ng mundo. It breaks my heart, because they're unfortunate to have that fate and it feels unfair. Prayer allowed me to release all these emotions and gave way to peace, knowing God sees everything. Some might say He is bad for allowing these atrocities to happen, but it's because He's allowing ALL the chance to change. He loves us, even the evil and the good. Although I sometimes wish bad against these evil people, I know I am not perfect, too. I am also bad, in my own way. I also sin, though not as brutal as these people, but sin is sin. If I prayed to God that He remove all these bad people, we'll all just be wiped out. Because we are all sinners. Anyway, this has been long. Just have to get it out my chest. ps. will delete hate comments as well. thank you.

@Ellehcim

I'm about to be back on working onsite this week. Honestly, I missed the office (which is kinda odd, because in my old client, I always wished I'd never have to go to the office haha, I guess it depends on the people we work with), and the food in the cafeteria. The typhoon hasn't left the country yet, but it's now on a different place. The winds are still strong from time to time, along with frequent but mild rains so it's still difficult to dry washed clothes. I still have a lot to do even it's 07:30pm already. Gotta stop scrolling soon. Happy Monday!

@Ellehcim

It has been a full week of working from home for me. It's my first time experiencing this, as I've always worked on hybrid setup—2 days WFH, then 3 days RTO (report to office). I must say people who have found a 'forever' WFH setup are SO lucky! I benefited from more sleep, and more time for myself! After turning off the laptop, I could simply go back to bed, or play with the puppies, or make a little snack! Especially now that rains are nonstop, I also don't have to stress about how I'd commute. Now, one of my prayers is to find a work that has this setup, and pays well. I am grateful my client allowed me to stay at home and work due to this weather, but I can't enjoy this forever, because that means it'll have to rain again, yk? What enjoyable job! I want this! :D

@Ellehcim

I saw a post on FB along the words of "I like how Filipinos are so resilient, but I don't like how they should always be." For context, it has been raining nonstop and flooding in our country for almost a week now, due to two typhoons coming in. Filipinos have experienced and went through countless typhoons and super typhoons throughout the years, yet we always seem to never learn. Millions and billions of budget were claimed to be for "anti-flood projects" yet when calamities hit, we don't notice these projects showing up. All these tax payers money just goes down the drain, possibly to the pockets of these corrupt politicians having the best houses. These crocodiles don't have to worry about flooding at all—they sit comfortably inside their air-conditioned houses, while the people that fund their luxurious lives always have to fight to survive. I love Philippines, yes, but corruption makes it hard to. I hope all these corrupt people be exposed, impeached, and punished severely.

@Ellehcim

There's a big difference in my day whenever I do my daily devotion before starting the tasks, versus when I don't. It sets the tone for the day, whenever I'd easily be irritated by minor inconveniences, or loose my cool whenever I work, or whenever I'd deal with daily activities. Sure, there are days I lack fifteen minutes every morning, yet I do my best to not miss my Bible-reading and meditation once a day. It trains me to make efforts to know more and build relationship with God, and teaches me the right way to live life. It's a great change when we're required to do this, compared to when it was optional. ps. I'm deleting hate comments, let's respect everyone'e faith. :)

@Ellehcim

It's concerning how I seemed to almost believe some works of AI! I know clearly that I am not easily fooled of arts, images made by AI, yet there are just some that makes me question reality. This is scary, when everyone's given full access to technology like this. It overpowers the sole purpose of making lives easier. It's widely used for scams, false art sold, identity-theft, hacking, and more! Also worth noting that a very small amount of usage is already very damaging to the environment. I might sound like a no-fun type of boomer, but I think I'd vote against AI if given a chance. I personally think we didn't need it. 🤷 I don't know though, this stance might change in the future.

@Ellehcim

Is the rain planning to say goodbye soon? I am kind of thinking about easily-flooded places in our country :(. Also saw on videos about the flooding in Metro Manila getting worse . Right now, thirty minutes before 12am, it stopped raining heavily—just few drops that I could hear through the roof, I wonder if it'd come back again stronger tomorrow morning? Anyway, no time for overthinking! Imma just pray! Everyone, let's pray! <3 God reigns.

@Ellehcim

I am still contemplating whether to just work from home tomorrow or travel to office. Yet, I opened my socials to see that many places in Metro Manila are actually flooding—rain seemed to not go away anytime sooner. Okay, so I'll just stay at home tomorrow.

@Ellehcim

Some people are inconvenienced because of the rain, so whenever it does, they experience unpleasant emotions. They associate rain with difficulty traveling, wet clothes that will take forever to dry, house leaks and muddy roads. I am one of them. And yet, on some parts of the world, others are celebrating because they can finally nourished their dried lands and expedite harvest. Some communities are happy that it has finally rained after long seasons of drought. It's really true that some inconveniences to us are considered much-awaited blessings to others. Life becomes less complicated once we remind ourselves of the concept of sonder.

@Ellehcim

I'd usually prefer cuddling with my pillow on a rainy afternoon. Yet, I came with some church co-members to the wake of one's family member, to show support and comfort and pray for them. God is good in all seasons.

@Ellehcim

Week check in! How did your week go? Mine was pretty tiresome and full of little events, but I am still grateful. God provided enough that I can meet all the needs. Lots of good food this week and also better sleep. How about you? Let's catch up! Feel free to share your story :)

@Ellehcim

Missing Hours, open for read cash and BCH Where have everyone gone to? Earlier today, I had a random urge to revisit read cash through my work laptop and boy, the memories just came flashing through like a whole short movie clip presented in a documentary. I'd like to keep the community alive, I really do, but I know I can't do this alone. In addition, I don't think most of my co-writers here during my time are still publishing. I believe they're thriving in other platforms, most of which I have never been to. Various thoughts are overwhelming and are coming through one after the other, so I'll just put them below in an attempt to organize them. I remembered I used to have someone I like here! Funny, right? I got so busy living life outside that I forgot there is someone here I looked forward to interacting here, and made my read cash journey more fun. Of course, you can never make me say his name, and you'll never know who he is, as I've engaged with at least 50 different people here (yeah, I was a passionate member of this community during its peak, and I guess, that quieted now, as you can see). I used to host a number of writing challenges here that many writers joined (not to inspire, but to brag, just kidding)! The only one I could remember right now is: "30 days writing challenge", which really brought out creativity and authenticity of those who joined it. I joined lots of writing challenges as well, to keep the momentum going, and because it's fun! It's fun to meet (via comments and works) different people across the world and become supportive of each other—something I dearly miss, as I went through memory lane earlier. There's a writing prompt that went like continuing one anothers' stories surrounding a single topic: Post-apocalyptic world. I am still halfway reading all the entries in this community and I am sad I couldn't go on contributing to it! If given another chance, I'd love to continue the unfinished story with the other authors. The prompt is called "Earth After Dark". You may visit the community to know what I'm talking about. I think I only got to contribute three parts in there. I hope there is a way to revisit many old articles in just a click. I had to scroll endlessly just so I can get to one of my old articles. Looking back, I should've kept a link per single article so I can just open them whenever I want to. I've been here for more or less four years, so I believe I wrote at least hundred articles and short posts. I forgot my noise cash access now. I used to share all that happened with my day there back then. I'd write short proses, post pictures, and explore hashtags. I wonder how noise is doing now? Is it still thriving? I miss my BCH journey. Ever since I paused my writing, I also stopped monitoring my BCH and eventually sold it especially during the time I resigned from my job and focused on my licensure review season. BCH had been an integral part of my finances and priorities back then, but now, I could only check how its value fluctuates from day to day. There is still that hope in me, though, that BCH will eventually find its peak again. It's been a while since I saw or mentioned "Rusty" or The Random Rewarder. He's been a very good friend and motivator to us all, and I am still waiting for his comeback. Lots of thoughts are still left unwritten and I figured I'd just make a separate article for this. But yeah, I am missing everything about read cash and BCH these days. I commented on a post before that I don't think I'd fully let go of BCH and this platform. I hope this will be brought back to life again, I believe it still can. Until then, I'll keep coming by and publish articles when I can, and hope for the best. Long live read cash and BCH! **To God be the Glory.**

@Ellehcim

Every season has a reason, and a lesson. **It's a different kind of joy when you realize that you're living an answered prayer.** It's like an unexpected lemonade stall at the end of the long, bumpy road on a hot summer afternoon. You can also describe it as the softest, warmest blanket that came out of nowhere from a side of your cabinet you've barely checked before, appearing just in time to complete your cozy movie night on a rainy weather. It all made sense to me on a five o' clock in the afternoon. I was already walking towards the train station few minutes after five, while the sun is still there, as if waiting to see me before it sets. It all did sink in as I played a somber song on my phone, while looking out the bus window, observing as the sky went from yellow, to orange, to red, the purple, then blue, then black. I got lunch on time this day. No overtime. Got home early. More time to eat, and do some night skin care routine. More time to still browse on my phone, and quiet time with God. I never got to do this before. I used to go out before the sun rises, and went home without ever seeing it shine. I felt like I've lost some spark to what living truly was, as it's just spent on rushing through deadlines while fighting the desperate urge to go home and rest my exhausted mind and body. It did suck to act okay even I feel stuck in some place I tried so hard to belong to. So, on that quiet bus trip while watching the sunset did I only realize that this chaotic chapter has officially ended. I no longer had to sigh when looking at the glaring 08:00pm on my phone, then rolling my eyes at the laptop screen of never-ending tasks that will only end when the world ends. I used to pray for this. I now get why others said I'll only appreciate things when I've experienced the worst. That people appreciate happiness more, because they fought hard to get through the greatest grief. The idle moments at work that used to make me feel bored and stagnant are now making me happy, reminding me that rest, indeed, is okay. Everyone is entitled for a break, and hustle is not always the answer. Now, I get why God told me to wait even on the crucial times I really almost quit. He's preparing me for something even more than what I prayed for. And I believe, this is only the start. I am claiming that this is my harvesting season—I'm done with the suffering season, no more breakdowns, no more self-deprecating thoughts, no more health issues, no more anxiety. Therefore, whenever you believe that nothing is going well, trust that He is training your character to be ready for greater opportunities. He's scheduling your prayers one by one, batch by batch and will make it happen it its right season. Take it as the planting season—it's tiresome, it's uncomfortable, it might be boring, even. To some, might be unbearable, or burdensome. But the harvest season will be fruitful and worth it. When you come to that point of discovering why God made you wait, may this remind you as well that in your hardest times, He never left you. He is rooting for you, and helping you. He's your number one supporter and believer. ***If the God of universe believes in you, there's no reason you should not believe yourself, too.*** Thanks for reading!****To God be the glory.****

@Ellehcim

Anyone who uses kindle here?? Please guys, can you really attest that it helps with phone addiction? hahahah, if this is the case, I guess I should really invest in one :)) Thanks for your help!

@Ellehcim

I thought of making an article that adds together all links for stuff I bought online.. I think it's a good idea! So in case, I myself would love to repurchase, I'll just visit this article. It would be helpful to others, too. Okay, I'll start as soon as I can!

@Ellehcim

Daily devotion... check! Thank You, Jesus! It's indeed true, we must make conscious efforts to get closer to God as He strengthens us and keeps us guided in EVERYTHING! It also feels good to know God is with us.

@Ellehcim

This is another interesting thing: research shows that our RIGHT ear is better at picking up words and speech, and our LEFT ear is better at picking up music and other sounds. Let's try testing this today. Hehe! Have a nice, productive Saturday, folks!

@Ellehcim

I've read that eating chocolate while studying helps the brain retain new info easily! And it's also directly linked to higher test scores... Well, I only got to read it now that I am not a student anymore :D But maybe I can also apply it to work. Thank You, Jesus for today! I'm having my lil quiet time before I sleep tonight. <3

@Ellehcim

I love this Saturday, because I plan on making it productive. Hopefully I can accomplish everything on my To-Do lust today, in Jesus' Name! Thank you, Lord for another day. <3

@Ellehcim

I find it healing to not have a fixed schedule on certain things. I like how I can just do something without worrying about a deadline. Earlier, I just draw random circles and colored it with the colored markers I recently bought from my pay check. I enjoyed it. :))

@Ellehcim

I got a lot of sleep debt that I can not pay back. So I just make efforts to be more conscious about what I eat. And yes, screen time. I still struggle with it. Kaya ko 'to!

@Ellehcim

It's been a while. What a busy and tiresome month for an accountant.. All of this will be over soon! Thank You, Lord!

@Ellehcim

You know that feeling when you read a Bible chapter for the first time and don't get it? Then revisiting that same passage few days after, and finally realizing the meaning? It's amazing, really. It's like invisible puzzle pieces finally coming together and boom! It brings instant smile to my face and thank God for it, always. This passage I'm talking about is found in Acts Chapter 10. You might wanna give it a read and let me know how you got it. To God be the glory! :))
