I saw a post on FB along the words of "I like how Filipinos are so resilient, but I don't like how they should always be." For context, it has been raining nonstop and flooding in our country for almost a week now, due to two typhoons coming in. Filipinos have experienced and went through countless typhoons and super typhoons throughout the years, yet we always seem to never learn. Millions and billions of budget were claimed to be for "anti-flood projects" yet when calamities hit, we don't notice these projects showing up. All these tax payers money just goes down the drain, possibly to the pockets of these corrupt politicians having the best houses. These crocodiles don't have to worry about flooding at all—they sit comfortably inside their air-conditioned houses, while the people that fund their luxurious lives always have to fight to survive. I love Philippines, yes, but corruption makes it hard to. I hope all these corrupt people be exposed, impeached, and punished severely.
