It took me a hile to decide which tiny bit to share, as almost everything in this specific journal sounded like highlights to me. Hehe. Here it goes, one from February 11, 2024. "Lastly, I pray that You mend me wholly from all damages I allowed, and caused to myself due to the job I have. I pray, in Jesus' name, that You help me find joy in what I do despite it being stressful and too much for me. I still pray that I'd still do well despite not liking what I do."

Hello! Anyone who read a recent post of mine where I read through my 2024 journal writeups? Of course, I'll be sharing more, because why not? Yes! It's so cool and I'm thanking myself for having the energy to write these so I can have stuff to look back to! I personally call my journal my "Letters to God", as I talk to Him while I wrote these entries. Now, on to the highlight of a letter I wrote last January 17, 2024: "Grabe, this day is not a good start for me. Why do I feel like I grow to not like it here, the longer I stay? Lord, help me overcome today. I want to finish it well within deadlines. In Jesus' name. Amen."

Pero, salamat sa Lord, and I was able to endure and overcome. Here it goes: "Growth is indeed uncomfortable. Kaya sobrang uncomfortable ako. Kaya hindi ako nag-eenjoy. Darating din ang time na hindi ko na kailangang magtiis sa mga dinadanas ko ngayon. In Your right time, Ama. In Jesus' name. Salamat po. I love You."

I just scrolled through Tiktok this lunch time, finding videos to wake me up because I am feeling sleepy after my meal, and I still have work to do!
Well, now, I am crying over dinosaurs that went extinct due to the meteor, or explosion or whatever it is. I remember studying it back then and not really caring much, just saying "well yeah, there used to be dinosaurs, but one day, they just randomly all died."
It hits like a brick when you see it with your own eyes, through videos created by these talented artists. You see them just wanting to survive, the babies being scared and oh—stop. I'm gonna cry again.
I still have work today!!! I couldn't help but comment this on one of the posts:
"Honestly, if this is how they really got extinct, it's so sad. If I had the chance, I'd honestly want them all to just die a painless death. To just sleep peacefully and not wake up anymore and therefore cease to exist. Sometimes, it bothers me why these innocent creatures had to die in fear, pain, and confusion."

Tuesday morning and I am running late to work. I was about to advise my boss for an emergency sick leave because I want to bring our mama dog to the vet, but the visit was cancelled because mom can't come with us, and she said she has to come. So, that leave was cancelled and now, I just prepared to go to work.
Good thing my supervisor is so kind to accommodate my advice.
I was pre-occupied with stuff today that I couldn't do some usual tasks. Hope I can get back on track the soonest!

Posting Old Drafts 1: Adulting
I got some time on my hands, so I got this random thought of checking out the drafts I've written throughout the years that I've been here in **read cash**.
I found one interesting draft that you'll read through in a short while, and I chose this one because there's no better time to remind the world of my love-hate relationship with adulthood!
Take note that this was a draft from few years ago. If you read further, I'll compare this write up with how I feel right now.
Now, the draft (which is no longer one, because you're seeing it already) ...
Now, I have no choice but to deal with this. *Adulthood*. Another writer here also talked about his own thoughts about adulting. I know we can always think about not-so-nice ideas about it.
It was the phase where the pain of reality slaps hard, and we have no choice but to keep going, because whether we like it or not, we are now the master of our fate. Our decisions matter now. In our own hands, and minds, lies the fate that's gonna unfold before us. Yes, I am not exaggerating, this is the dark reality of adulting.
It's a time where I felt like I am always hustling, running after something—yet, I also want to just relax and just wait for my time. It's always a struggle balancing these two opposite ideas. Be in a hurry to take action, or to just follow my own pace and let my own time shine when it's right? Wait, *when* is the right time, my friend? Where should I go? Why is it so hard?
It's the time I could not help but look at the other successful people my age, already achieving double, maybe even triple more than I have. Yet, I always convince myself that I should not compare myself to others. We have different timelines, right? *Yes, but to think others' stars may shine later than the others, can sometimes make me think like it's unfair. What do you think?*
It has always been unfair, right? Do you agree? Then I get to think that yeah, life's not fair, but if others were able to overcome their battles, and still prosper, why am I still in the same place?
Am I not doing my best enough? How do you measure what's best?
You might be rolling your eyes right now, but yeah, it's a reality of adulting, *again*. Lots of questions. Lots of instances being stuck in the crossroads. Lots of tempting choices that just make us overthink further. *There are even times that reading success stories brings us down more than motivate us. I know you can definitely relate.*

Okay, now the commentary.
Note that I didn't add nor remove any word in the passage. That would steal from it the authenticity of what's in the past, right? I honestly can't pinpoint the experience I was going through by the time I wrote it, as I didn't include the date, which is also odd, as I usually add dates in my articles before.
Now, I am 25, going 26, and I can say that adulting and I still have some fights from time to time. It's a constant struggle of wanting to be young again and just enjoy life freely, versus enjoying the fun side of being an adult! I believe I am not the only one who feels this.
Right now, though, I got back on track with my relationship with God since 2023, if I remember it right, and life has been better since then. Yes, I do struggle still, cry, and fight battles, but I got peace in chaos, knowing I am loved and protected by God.
As you saw in the title, it's only part 1 of my **"Posting Old Draft"** series. I am planning to empty my drafts, so expect more!

Thankfully, it's a work from home day. I felt better this morning by drinking a share of my brother's ginger and calamansi tea he made.
I plan on not being too hard on myself today. For this week, Monday is self-care day.
I am still contemplating whether to take a sick leave for tomorrow if my sore throat and colds persist.
I don't know the exact reason why I suddenly got colds. It's kind of annoying, because it disrupts my productivity, aside from the discomfort that comes with it.
I have to be more mindful of my well-being again. Usually, when I get colds, it's my body's warning that I am overdoing things again.
Being sick sucks, so I'll make sure I make efforts so this colds will go away as soon as possible. I claim miraculous healing, in Jesus' name, Amen. Thank You, Lord <3
