I'd usually prefer cuddling with my pillow on a rainy afternoon. Yet, I came with some church co-members to the wake of one's family member, to show support and comfort and pray for them. God is good in all seasons.

Some people are inconvenienced because of the rain, so whenever it does, they experience unpleasant emotions. They associate rain with difficulty traveling, wet clothes that will take forever to dry, house leaks and muddy roads. I am one of them. I am still contemplating whether to just work from home tomorrow or travel to office. Yet, I opened my socials to see that many places in Metro Manila are actually flooding—rain seemed to not go away anytime sooner. Okay, so I'll just stay at home tomorrow.

Is the rain planning to say goodbye soon? I am kind of thinking about easily-flooded places in our country :(. Also saw on videos about the flooding in Metro Manila getting worse . Right now, thirty minutes before 12am, it stopped raining heavily—just few drops that I could hear through the roof, I wonder if it'd come back again stronger tomorrow morning? It's concerning how I seemed to almost believe some works of AI! I know clearly that I am not easily fooled of arts, images made by AI, yet there are just some that makes me question reality. This is scary, when everyone's given full access to technology like this. It overpowers the sole purpose of making lives easier. There's a big difference in my day whenever I do my daily devotion before starting the tasks, versus when I don't. It sets the tone for the day, whenever I'd easily be irritated by minor inconveniences, or loose my cool whenever I work, or whenever I'd deal with daily activities. It has been a full week of working from home for me. It's my first time experiencing this, as I've always worked on hybrid setup—2 days WFH, then 3 days RTO (report to office). I must say people who have found a 'forever' WFH setup are SO lucky! I benefited from more sleep, and more time for myself! I'm about to be back on working onsite this week. Honestly, I missed the office (which is kinda odd, because in my old client, I always wished I'd never have to go to the office haha, I guess it depends on the people we work with), and the food in the cafeteria. I got emotional as I prayed earlier. I made it a habit to include in my prayers all victims of gen0cid3, famine, slavery, corruption, war crimes, and the likes, because it is happening in many parts of the world. It feels like my tummy is about to burst. It's a free lunch for us today and it's a buffet. Despite trying small portions of food, I still struggled finishing it. I am glad to be working without overtime now. Yes, it came with the consequence of having no additional expectation every payroll, but I also benefited having more time for the family and for myself. Little things make the day better. It's a Friday, and it's a bummer I have to report to office when I'm usually work from home, but I had to, just for this week. I was very sleepy and took a nap while the jeepney traveled, and when I woke up, I got to see almost all of us in that jeepney sleeping.
