Dream
**"I fell in love with a person in my dream"**
*He looks familiar. Why does he look so familiar? Do I know him? Those questions still intrude upon my thoughts. I always get distracted and can't focus, and sometimes I end up getting frustrated because I can't remember that person. It's like I always wake up in the middle of the night and start asking myself, 'Who is that guy?'*
Just a simple night.
Not until I find those captivating gazes, his physique appears quite impressive. His shoulder movements, height, and hair color all exude a certain charm. Hmm... why does he's face so familiar? Do I know him? Is he perhaps a fellow student from my cohort? As he approached and passed by, I had a clear view of his face, and suddenly, it clicked – I recognized him. He was the person from my dream, precisely in my dream! I clearly recognize him, but what do I need to do? Do I need to approach him? Of course not, he didn't even know me and he will find me a creep. A person you didn't know started to approach and talk to you grr. It's awkward and creepy. I was so desperate that time but I need to go. I can't even let it go. It's still in my mind. It was merely a dream, after all. Well, dreams can be kind of sneaky sometimes, mysterious, hiding the truth or lies or even the reality.
However, uhm I dreamt that I was in love with a man I've never met, and I felt a kind of love that I've never experienced in my entire life. I can't explain it. I felt so connected and happy with him... like... I don't know. But the thing that I know is I felt good in his arms. He was my partner in that dream, and we loved each other so much that I even ran my fingers through his hair, lay down on the bed, and cuddled. But when I woke up, I felt this horrible pain in my chest, like I can never get to see this person's face again. I even cried in front of my sister, which is a bit embarrassing, and it's driving me crazy because I really want to go back. Like I keep asking myself, is there a way to go back? Sobrang bata ko pa non to the point na nagtatanong ako ng mga impossible questions like... napaniginipan nya din ba ako? It's been 3 years now and I still have no answers (o dahil pinagloloko ko lng sarili ko just to satisfy my needs!?) I remembered inaway ko pa ung kapatid ko dahil ginising nya ako. I fell in love even though he wasn't real.
Have you ever encountered someone who seems familiar? Not just because you know that person, but because of your dream? Dreaming of someone you don't know? A romantic dream about someone you've never met? Falling in love with a stranger in my dream isn't a first for me. But there's a moment that you can't forget. Like usual, you can easily forget it, or before you wake up, you totally forget your dream, to the point where you can't even describe it.

Reality
**"Have you ever wondered what lies beyond the surface of reality? Prepare to have your mind shattered as we plunge into the hidden depths of existence. Brace yourself for a mind-bending journey that challenges everything you thought you knew about the world. Step into the twisted realm where illusions shatter, and truth bares its fangs. Are you ready to question your own perception? Where the reality will never be the same again."**
In a world where illusions and facades often cloud our perception, reality stands as a compelling journey that beckons us to break free from the chains of delusion. From the fragility of human emotions to the fleeting nature of time, reality confronts us with harsh realities, pushing us to question our perceptions and challenging us to seek deeper meaning in the vast tapestry of existence.
From a young age, I've always been this creative youngster. My imagination is my only way to ***escape reality***. I have always been on the go, trying to get away from the harsh realities of society, isolating myself from other people, and creating a flawless world on my own. These are the only things for me to escape from the cruel world, but it didn't last long for sure, because I need to face reality again and embrace its cruelness. As a kid I used to see the beauty in life admiring all the things that has been given to me and be thankful about it, but as I grew older the cruel world embrace me with it's hurtful words, making me see the ugly truth about society, making my eyes open for the unpleasant things that has been happening. But it didn't stop me from being positive, it didn't stop me from dreaming and imagining great things ahead of me. The world may welcome me from its harsh embrace, then I would gladly accept that embrace, and welcome the world with my positive mind ahead of me.
The phrase "***Face reality as it is, not as it was or as you wish it to be***" is one of my favorite quotes that I found online. I gave this quote some thought and reflection. I've always tried to avoid facing reality by pretending that everyone would be delighted to have me around, but that's not how things really are. The world is a very cruel place, and it will cause you to question your very self-worth. But I still have this positive energy around me thinking that everything would be okay, and that it will be perfectly fine as I imagined it to, but it didn't come out that way, as I keep getting older the more open I become from reality. I have always been imagining that things would go perfectly as I visualize them to, but I am only fooling myself that the world is all beautiful and life would welcome me from its joyful place. As I grew older, the more I learned to accept the cruel world and go with it. I no longer fool myself that everything would turn out exactly on how I visualized them, even though things would not tum out how I wished them to be I would accept it, and work on improving more.
Even though the world may not be perfect as it is, there is still some beauty in it. We must accept reality for what it is, not for what we would like it to be, because the more we do so, the more we will be able to accept the harshness and flow of reality. It can indeed help us navigate the harshness and unpredictability of life. When we acknowledge the imperfections of the world, we develop a more grounded perspective and are better equipped to handle adversity. By expecting the world to be perfect or conforming it to our idealized version, we set ourselves up for disappointment and frustration. Instead, embracing the imperfections allows us to find joy and appreciate the small moments of beauty that exist amidst the chaos. Accepting reality enables personal growth and resilience and encourages us to find solutions and work towards progress, rather than dwelling on a fantasy that may never materialize.
This does not mean we should be passive about improving the world. Accepting reality is not synonymous with complacency; rather, it encourages us to take action and work towards positive change within the confines of what is possible. In short, accepting reality with all its imperfections, can be a source of **strength** **and wisdom**.

Unraveling the Pages of Life
**"When Will My Life Begin?"** A famous song from the 2010 Disney movie called **"Tangled"** circles around the life of a girl who has experienced being isolated from the outside world. In the song, Rapunzel, the main character complained about being stuck in the same place doing everything that she can do. Like her, I don't find comfort in repetitiveness, routines, and schedules. I am the type of person who wants to have something new in her life every day, something to look forward to.
Similar to the movie's title, I would describe my life as messy or tangled. Admittedly, following a routine has proven to be a helpful factor in my life however it also made me feel that something is missing. It may have been the influence of countless high school movies or series that I have watched or simply because I am going through puberty. My life is a mess simply because I keep on wishing or expecting something ridiculous or extraordinary to happen in my life. I have many questions as to why certain things only happen to other people? ***Bakit hindi sa akin? Bakit sa kanila lang? Kailan ko kaya mararanasan 'yon?*** These questions are rooted in jealousy and envy of what other people are experiencing. They may be the same age as me but they seem to have more of a life than I'll ever have.
However, entering SHS, a new chapter in my life has led me to realize how normal it is for someone to question life. My first year as a senior high school student has taught me that having questions about life is not unusual or weird. It is actually something that drives people to understand how exciting or amazing life is. It made me comfortable knowing that I was not a bad person for wishing more, I was just like every other kid questioning life as I grew up knowing more about the world and myself. **IYAK MALALA**
But is it not questioning the most basic thing ever to exist? I always like to think that being human is like having a book that is not finished. **Isn't it human to wonder about what might happen next in our lives?**Considering that we all grew up in this world knowing close to nothing. And with our life being a complete mystery. I like to believe that being human is discovering every single page of it. However, discovering every page is not enough. There is a reason why teachers like to make students reflect on a book that they have read; it is done to discover if they have understood the author's message beyond the words or text that they have written. We as humans do question everything but we are also afraid of discovering something that we do not expect or want. And this stops us from understanding why certain things happen to us. Already claiming life to be miserable but also forgetting that we are at fault for not looking deeper into events that happen in our life. ***Life is full of possibilities*** ***and reasons.*** There are reasons why we go through certain things, it may be because of different circumstances and chances but that is how life is. Life does not only have one layer but a lot that you can be into once you look deeper into it.
Even so, with our lives being a journey to get through, people refuse to read into them. Only seeing the book cover without fully diving into why things have seemed so or why this person has turned out this way. And even though people overuse the quote: **"Do not judge the book by its cover"**, it cannot be denied that we all do the same with other people. We react and define people only based on what we see from them on the outside without fully understanding that there might have been a reason for their actions and behavior. But if we start to unfold every chapter of their lives, there we will understand what makes them human. And one would only discover more about their morals if they try and discover others. Learning how they think, act, and the reason behind it, makes us have this self-reflection if we disagree or agree with their gestures. By exchanging ideas, we get to learn not only about other people but also about ourselves. And these discoveries about our principles and values are what make us human.
On the other hand, we should not completely depend on other people's books as they cannot always hold the truth. Some people may present only a part of their lives and fabricate the rest of their stories to make them more interesting. ***We must remember to be true to ourselves first, if we also show people fiction they will also do it in return.*** Do not make other people's stories the control of our decisions and actions in life. We must not let other people's experiences be the basis of our opinion. In the end, even though people go through almost the same thing, their story is not the same as our story. There may be circumstances that led them to experience it but that does not mean the same goes for us, individually, our experience is still different from theirs. Rather we should use them to unfold more about ourselves and not lose who we are in the process. Once we let other people control our choices or opinions, it will remove the idea of who we are and we will mere followers or replicas of someone else's thoughts and actions. It is important to learn from others and gain perspective, but ultimately, we should stay true to ourselves and make decisions that align with our own values and beliefs.
To conclude, each person's journey is unique, and what works for someone else may not necessarily work for us. We should cultivate self-awareness and understand our own desires, dreams, and goals. We should not give others the power to dictate our lives or determine our worth. It is essential to have confidence in our own abilities and trust in our own judgment. In the process of unfolding more about ourselves, we can still appreciate the ***wisdom*** and experiences of others. Their insights can help us gain new perspectives and inspire personal growth. By doing so, we can become the ***best version of ourselves*** and lead a more fulfilling and authentic life. And we need to remember that each and every person in the world has an originality in their story. Some may appear identical but it can be a coincidence and nothing but a coincidence.

Indecision
"Well, on behalf of me, the decision is that the most significant thing is that we should always understand what the outcome is, as well as the impact of our decision, whether it's good or bad."
Four years have passed since our friendship was formed. Some friends have come and gone, while others have remained, and new friends have joined us along the way. However, when the pandemic started, one of my friend returned home to the province, while the others stayed. It's been three years since we last met and got together. I was thrilled when I received an invitation from one of my friends. He invited me to join them for a surprise celebration for her girlfriend and some bonding time. They planned to go to the mall and decided on a restaurant to eat at. Everything is fine, but the challenge lies in scheduling. Some of my friends are busy with school and various commitments. The schedule has been set for May 7, 2022, which is a weekend. I hope they can make it, but I'm uncertain about my availability too. Even on weekends, I'm occupied with school homework and household chores. I can't promise if I can attend the celebration as it depends on my schedule and whether I'm available or not.
However, I am pleased that we have the opportunity to meet and spend time together. Where we will also catch up on each other's lives over the past three years. However, this morning, two of my friends messaged in our group chat, expressing their inability to attend the celebration due to budget constraints. Additionally, they mentioned that they won't be available on that day, though I'm uncertain about the exact reason; it may be related to family matters.
Anyway half of my friend have a jowabol (girlfriend and boyfriend) well I'm single so, I think it is awkward, they have partners and me ohhh gosh still single.😎
Anyway, last night I realized that I haven't been vaccinated yet, so maybe I won't be allowed to go out. However, I'll still ask my father (who is strict) if he might consider allowing me. I always inform my parents every time I leave the house because I don't want them to worry about me. I feel guilty when I leave without saying goodbye, not out of guilt, but because it's important to me that my parents know where I am and where I'm going. It's okay if my parents don't allow me to go out with my friends because, to me, being at home means my parents know I'm safe and nothing bad will happen to me. I'm also still contemplating whether I should continue and join the celebration scheduled for May 7 or not. So far, I haven't been able to decide, and the decision hinges on two factors: 50% of me wants to join my friends and bond with them, and the other 50% depends on my father's approval. ***Still it depends on my father's approval.***
Well, that's the reason why I cannot decide for myself. In my view, when making decisions, we should consider the potential outcomes and their impact. However, when you find yourself unable to handle a decision, it's important to inform and seek advice from seniors or your parents.
Nothing is lost if we try to seek advice, but it is still up to us to make the final decision.
***Thanks for reading! :)*** Hope you guys have a nice day!

Appreciate the Moment of your Love Ones
***What special events occurred in your life with your grandfather? Which moments do you treasure with your grandpa? What valuable lessons did you learn from your grandfather?***
I never experienced having a moment with my grandpa. They say having a grandpa is the best and awesome. They say that a grandpa is like **Santa Claus** because he gives you a gift even when it isn't your birthday; he gives you pocket money every day, especially when you ask for money for a project. He gives it to you immediately; in other words, he spoils you. He knows the bad and good decisions you've made, always supporting you and making you feel special. He makes you laugh, feel safe, and always loved. He always tells stories that he experienced from his own life. He teaches you good lessons that he experienced before and disciplines you. Grandfathers always adore their grandchildren.
I envy those children who are still with their grandfather, but they don't seem to care about it. They continue to pay attention to things that are not important instead of taking care of their grandfather and giving him time to bond. While we are still with our grandparents, we should appreciate it because, like me, I want to experience love and support from my grandpa. Unfortunately, I never experienced it because both of my grandfathers passed away, so I did not receive the love and care from them.
Personally, I have a grandmother. My grandmother fulfilled my needs when my mother passed away. She became my second mom, a great mom. Sadly, she passed away this year at the age of 89 due to old age. However, I don't have a grandfather since he died many years ago. I loved both of my grandfathers, even if I didn't get along with them. When I was 10 years old, I always asked my dad, **"Where is my grandfather? Where does grandpa live? Do you have a photo of grandpa? Is my grandpa handsome? Is my grandpa nice? Why aren't we with grandpa?"** Many questions ran through my mind when I was young. But my dad hasn't answered them yet because he said I couldn't fully understand it due to my young age.
When I was 13 years old, my dad answered all my questions. It began with my grandpa (father's side) who passed away when my dad was only 16 years old but my dad said that my grandpa was half Filipino and half Japanese. On the other side, my father told me that my grandpa (mother's side) used to be my playmate, but I can't remember it because I was young when I met him at my mother's hometown. My grandpa on my mother's side passed away during the pandemic due to liver disease. We couldn't visit him because he was 780.0 km away from us. I wanted to go, but we didn't have enough money, and traveling was difficult because of the virus.
How does it feel to be without your grandfathers? Naturally, I experience a sense of envy when I witness other children reveling in the happiness of their grandfathers' presence. Simultaneously, curiosity consumes me as I contemplate what it would be like to have a grandfather by your side, one who spoils you in many ways, consistently provides support, imparts discipline, offers praise, and perpetually beams with pride in your accomplishments.
There are numerous experiences I yearn to share with my grandpa, yet I have not been afforded the opportunity. If granted the chance to be with them, I would immediately accept that opportunity. I would not squander a single hour or minute that passes. I will dedicate my time to both of them and ensure they feel special. Even as they age and, perhaps, become naughty, I will never tire of caring for them. I will cherish those moments throughout my entire life.
Even though I don’t have a grandfather, my grandmother filled that role. I can only say that we should appreciate and love our loved ones, especially our parents and grandparents, while it's not too late. Let us not waste the time we are given the opportunity to be with them. We should love and appreciate the moments with our parents and grandparents and also apologize to them if we have ever wronged them.
We should ***appreciate*** the moment when they are still with us. Our grandparents, just like parents, play a crucial role in our lives. They provide us with wisdom, guidance, and unconditional love. However, it is important to remember that their presence and influence may not last forever. Therefore, we must cherish the time we have with them and express our gratitude and affection.

Things I Learned During Lockdown
*COVID-19 threatens our health, especially in the elderly and children. It separates us from our family, friends, and peers, causing stress in our lives, especially at work. These challenges are felt globally. But despite everything, people did not hesitate to help, especially those who were hungry and severely affected. Hence, hope prevails, along with compassion, solidarity, and initiative.*
On **December 31, 2019**, COVID-19 was identified in Wuhan, China. This disease is caused by a group of viruses that affect mammals and birds. In the human body, our lungs are most affected. This disease has impacted the entire world, with 225 countries affected. When COVID-19 cases started to rise, with an increase in positive cases due to COVID-19, our government declared a '**LOCKDOWN**' to prevent the spread of the virus and save more lives. This measure was implemented to decrease positive cases and reduce death rates.
When the lockdown happened, a lot of people panicked, which caused grocery stores to run out of supplies, and many people lost their jobs. Many children and young people experienced loneliness during the lockdown due to the lack of physical contact with their friends, families, and peers, as well as the boredom and frustration resulting from not being able to do the things we used to do and the loss of activities that were a part of our lives. Our world temporarily closed because of the pandemic.
Before the lockdown started, I was away from my family; I was not with them at home because my siblings were at school, and my parents were always at work, so I was often alone. I preferred to spend my time with my friends. However, everything changed when the pandemic hit, and the lockdown began. During the first week of the lockdown, I felt stressed, tired, frustrated, and sorry for myself. I didn't understand why I felt that way, as I wanted to hang out with friends and couldn't stand being indoors, unable to do the things I used to do.
I was stressed because I couldn't meet my friends, and I was frustrated because I couldn't buy the things I wanted, especially food, as I didn't know how to use online shopping apps at that time. However, over time, I gradually got used to it, especially the new education system that emerged during the lockdown. I became less accustomed to socializing with others, and I was afraid to leave the house, even though everything had returned to normal. I found myself always wanting to stay at home and not go outside.
Being with my family is the key to my happiness.
I give myself an opportunity to love and get to know every member of my family, as well as myself.
Try to avoid negative thoughts
I realized that when I see my own face in video calls during online classes, it's engrossing and disturbing because my face appears much larger than I thought hahaha.
I realized that we need to appreciate every drop of sweat, every moment of fatigue, and every tear shed by our frontliners just to save our loved ones.
I learned that we should pray and stay close to God, not only when we have a problems but also in our everyday lives
I learned to save money for unexpected disasters or emergencies.
I learned and realized a lot during the lockdown, and I appreciate that moment. Although many changes have occurred in our economy and our way of life, let us continue striving for a better future and positive development.
How about you? What valuable lessons did you learn and realize during the lockdown? Feel free to share with us! 😊"
That's all for today! ***Thank's for reading!:)*** Hope you guys have a nice day!

Moon
***Author's Note: This is my second article. The first one was my introduction. Anyway, I'm writing this article here on read.cash as a first-timer, and I apologize for any mistakes in my English grammar.***
What question ran through your mind when you were young, especially when the moon always followed you as you started to walk?
When I was a kid, I had a lot of questions running through my mind about the moon, such as: **"Why is there a moon? Why is the moon bright every night? Why can't I see the moon when there is the sun? Why does the moon always follow me wherever I go? Does anyone live on the moon? Can aliens live on the moon?"** At that time, my mind was full of curiosity. When I asked my brother about the moon, he told me that there are people on the moon watching me from there. And, of course, I was just a kid at that time, so I reacted with amazement, saying, "Is that true? That's so amazing!". I can't imagine my expression back then. I think it was an epic reaction.
So my mind said, **'The moon always follows you wherever you go just to make sure you're safe and to give you light every night.'** Night after night, I watched the moon from my room, and sometimes, I even fell asleep on the window just to make sure I could see the moon. At the **age of 10**, I fell in love with the moon and developed a deep interest in it. I found myself constantly seeking more information about the moon. Day by day, night by night, and year by year. At the **age of 11**, I discovered a telescope in one of my books and also saw it in the cartoons I watched. My mind told me to buy that telescope so I could see the moon up close. However, I don't have a plan to buy, though, bruh. I don't have enough money, and I just wanted to observe it from afar.
I was in my **fourth year of high school** when I got to know someone who was an expert on the moon. He had a telescope, and that was so amazing. He happened to be my brother's best friend and also my schoolmate. I borrowed this picture from him, and I want to extend my heartfelt thanks for allowing me to post this amazing picture.
**James Michael Salise**. Anyway, you can visit his Facebook profile for more interesting facts of moon.
https://www.facebook.com/jamezuwans2die.017?mibextid=ZbWKwL
**"Before the full moon🌚"**
**"Partial Lunar Eclipse"**
**"Full Moon"**
**"Waning Crescent"**
**"Craters of the moon"**
**"Jupiter and Galilean moons"**
**"3 more extra picture of moon"**
For me, the moon is a **gift from God**. It's special because it provides light and shines in the dark sky. The moon helps us survive in this world. Let's appreciate and love our God's creations. Let's not destroy; let's do the right thing while it's not too late.
That's all for today! Thank you for reading! 😊 Hope you all have a nice day!
