History of football
Football which happens to be quite at the peak with regards to sporting activities has been known to be the most watched sport activity ranging across different countries across the world.Football has been known to evolved with the advancing technological world and quite a number of changes has also accompanied it. Football has created a sense of belonging among people, People of different backgrounds, believe,races all in support of a club.
Football originated in England, with the commissioning of a board in 1863. It was known that football was played all across England.
The First Football Game between Rutgers and Princeton.A game which was accompanied by 10 goal as Rutger won the match by 6 goals to 4.
RULES OF FOOTBALL Both team are to commence the match with eleven player involving a goal keeper The referee in the presence of the two captains tosses a coin to determine who passed first The goalkeeper is not allowed to hold the ball when receiving a backpass and during a goal kick The yellow and red card are used as a form of penalty for any form of infringement. Severe tackle can lead to a player being sent off Any form of foul in the penalty area leads to a penalty kick being awarded to the opponent The match is officiated by 4 referees The centre referee at the centre of the pitch The 2nd and 3rd referee at the sideline and The fourth referee on the touchline. The assistant referee assists with foul,throw-ins and off sides Each half are 45 minutes with 15 minutes interval between them Once a goal is scored the opposing team are to restart the game in the middle of the pitch Players off the the pitch can be booked for misconduct. Coaches are sent out of the sideline into the dressing room. Substitutes differs in different leagues but mainly,3 substitution is allowed in a match The captain leads the team and are mainly responsible for making complaints to the referee Thanks for reading
