CHAPTER 1
Tap tap tap
“Maam, someone asked me to give this to you”
A waiter stood near my table holding a cup of Frappuccino in his tray, waiting for me to acknowledge his presence.
I stopped typing on my computer and looked up from my screen.
“To whom did it come from?”
“It’s from the man seated near the bookshelves”
I gazed in the direction the waiter pointed at and saw the man that gave me the Frappuccino drink. I stared at him and instinctively thought of several reasons behind his actions. What a creepo.
“Can I not accept it?”
“He told me that no matter what it should be delivered to you”
“Why? I don’t even know him”
Which is true. Logically speaking, we’re strangers. I noticed that some customers are waiting for him to serve them, so I motioned him to put the drink at the center of my table. He thanked me afterward and scurried to take their orders.
I once again looked at the man who gave me the drink and noticed that he’s also looking at me like he’s waiting for me to do something. I scrunched my brows together and pointed at the cup on my table.
He then grabbed his own drink and tapped on a spot on his cup, mouthing “look at your cup”.
I looked at the Frappuccino and found out that there is something written on the opposite side of the cup.
“Can I have your number?”
This is ridiculous. I looked at him like he’s some weirdo and he just smiled at me innocently. I took my tablet out of my bag and opened the sketchpad app. I scribbled some texts and showed them to him.
“Why should I?”
He beamed at me, surprised with my next course of action. He quickly opened the notebook on his table and used a much darker shade of pen to scribble on it.
“I don’t know”
Before I could react, he flipped another page. I think my heart skipped a beat once after reading its content.
“I think it’s a love at first sight”
“That’s ridiculous”
“It is true though?”
I stared at him and observed his face. A friend once told me not to trust people like him, so I decided to humor him for a while.
“How should I know?”
“Give me your number”
“I don’t know you”
“We’ll get to know each other after that”
I contemplated for a while, and I noticed that he’s still waiting for my reply.
“Oh my gosh! Look at them. That is so cute!”
Snapping out of my thoughts, a girl next to my table giggled and tried to tone down her voice as she and her friend whispered to each other. That is where I noticed that most of the customers inside the café are looking in our direction like they’re watching some romantic show on tv.
Embarrassed, I glared in his direction and half-emptied the Frappuccino drink. Pretending not to notice my surroundings, I scribbled on the cup and quickly gathered my things.
I sauntered my way to his table and placed the drink on it. I stared at his face, more specifically at his eyes for the last time, and left the café.
He wants to play? Then let’s play.
`Story written by Dumbledore2902`

Rose (The Little Prince)
Hello everyone! So my sisters and I have just finished watching The Little Prince movie on Netflix. For some who do not know about this movie, The Little Prince or Le Petite Prince was written by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. Directed by Mark Osborne, this was made into a Netflix Original movie in the year 2016.
While watching, lots of scenes made me cry and reflect on life. Like every part of it is showing me a lesson and a realization in which I constantly compare it with how I am handling my life right now.
I would gladly give a movie review, but right now, what I wanted to talk about is the little prince's red rose who is left on their planet.
WARNING: THIS CONTAINS A BIT OF A SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO STILL HAVEN'T WATCHED THE MOVIE. So readers discretion is strongly advised. Thank you!!
.
.
So there is a scene where the girl and the little prince went back to his planet to look for his rose in which he kept inside a glass, like the one in the beauty and the beast, and it has been there for oh-so-many years. When they found the rose, I can't help myself but feel a bit emotional. Like, hey, look at that rose. It has already wilted, but it's just there, still standing and waiting for the little prince to come back. When I saw that rose, I felt like the rose was trying to tell the price that "hey, I'm here. Although I waited for you for so long, but see, I am still standing. Thank you for coming back. Thank you for remembering me." And at that moment, I cried a lot. Tho the rose really vanished right after the prince lifted the glass protecting her, but what the little prince told the girl adds weight to my chest.
Isn't amazing how a rose could signify love?
This does not only talk about love couples but friendship and familial love too.
A rose that was given to you in a moment where everything is special.
A mark, a vow, a promise that you will try not to forget 'that' moment.
My grandmother once told me that one way to preserve a rose is to put the petals or some bits of the rose between a book. And it will last for a long time. Preserving the flower, preserving the memory.
Some could still have their color, but most of them would be browned.
And then you will one day open that book again, revealing the bit of that rose you left on its pages, immediately knowing that not only the rose petal is special, but the memory along with it.
A rose that could make you remember who gave it to you,
a moment you will reminisce, a moment you will miss, and a moment where you will give a smile so sweet with a slight tinge of blissfulness, bitterness, or sorrow.
May all who have once received a rose be happy and contented with their life today <3.

Hello everyone!
I am @Dumbledore2902 and I am a first-year college student who likes to write stuff about how my day went. I am kind of glad that someone recommended read.cash to me, and she told me that this website/app will suit someone like me who likes to comment and write.
As I am still new, I still don't know the ropes of this, so if someone out there would be so kind to guide and help me, please do so :<. And oh! I'm a kind and uhm.. honest(?) person. But of course I would refrain myself from disclosing my personal information like my name and which country I am from haha, but please do know that I would be so glad if you guys will communicate with me as I write and post stuff XD. I like talking with people, and base from the person who recommended this site to me, she told me that everyone in here is very friendly and welcoming. I am looking forward to it!! Please take care of me!! <3
So some stuff to know about me. I am someone who enjoys reading Japanese Manga, Korean Manhwa, and Chinese Manhua. The genres that I prefer reading is Historical, Romance, Slice of life, Drama, Psychological, Mystery, and Medical. Please don't refrain yourself from recommending me some titles haha.
I am a fan of reading books before, but as I have grown older, reading man/ga/hwa/hua is what I do on my free time. What books do I like? Well romance is one, but I like reading books that includes stuff where they are adept in their occupation or work. It has always been a fascinating thing to know what they do in their work and such haha. AND OH!! I love the works of Rick Riordan, so I guess you could say that I have a slight interest in Greek Mythology, so you guys could talk about it with me as well~~!~~
I am sorry, I am becoming a chatterbox, aren't I? Then let's end with the introductions XD I would really LOVE to get to know everyone. Let's all get along!!
