Or was it Joe... Or was it I just had a fight with Joe and the last thing he said to me was ,"I will deal with you, you don't know who I am". And even though I replied him, "do you know who I am too?", I figured when it comes to dealing with people, I was a nobody. So I got home and what he said kept ringing in my head "I will deal with you ..." Basically I know Joe to always go through with things he set his mind to do. Well what the heck could he even do... I took my bath, said a little word of prayer, looked at my wall clock, it was exactly 9.40pm, I closed my eyes and slept... Or did I? I heard my name ring in my head a couple of time and I opened my eyes... I could see the room grow smaller and smaller as the lights became dim and figures and shadows from the world beyond Bagan to close on me. I could feel the air grow thinner as I struggled and gasped for air. I tried to shout but I had lost my voice, I tried to move but I couldn't... Like I had lost all muscle functions. I just laid upright and stared like a sheep about to be slaughtered. I kept screaming "Jesus!" In my head and an evil being moved closer to me like whirl wind... It's smile was demonic, as I placed it's hands on me and began to squeeze the life out of my body... "Jesus!" I kept screaming in my mind continuously as I felt myself being sucked into a cold black voltex of darkness and endlessly, void of anything life. I struggled with this being but felt so powerless, I just couldn't move but then Within splits of seconds I felt my fingers move, then my toe, then my hands, my pelvis, I could move.... Just before the evil being opened its mouth to devour me, I stood up Immediately gasping for air and breathing hard... I looked around and it was gone... I exhaled slowly... What a bad dream... And then in a instance I saw Joe just standing at the far right end corner of my room with a teddy bear tied in a red ribbon and a Cutlass coming towards me and repeating these words "I told you I will deal with you..." And as he lifted the Cutlass to cut me, I screamed and finally woke up... Looked around and knew I was back to my room... I felt so scared... I looked at my wall clock and it was just 10pm. I stared at it for a while to realise I had only slept just 20mins. I can't go back to sleep like this... I picked up my phone and dialled a number "Hello Joe... I am sorry for earlier today, can you forgive me, didn't mean anything I said..." "It's cool bro, he replied... I am sorry too" That night, I slept like a baby with complete peace of mind. The question is What that experience fear, sleep paralysis or was it... Joe! #shreds

Just before Dooms day: Chapter one CHAPTER ONE The sound of old English country music playing on the radio engulfed her in an oblivion of musical ingenuity as she swayed her waist back and forth in harmony to its beat and rhythm. The morning was serine and peaceful, just like any other day in this side of the country. The birds chipping outside felt as if they sang to the song on the radio, nature in perfect harmony with man. The cold morning air always gave way to a clear sky and a little sunshine, but bright enough to chase away the dark. The smell of freshly lawn garden brought a different kind of joy to her. Her husband was at it again. She opened her window’s curtain to see him dancing to the same song. Oh how much she loved him. ‘Shake that ass for me’ she yelled to him through the window. He turned around to catch a glimpse of her staring at him and gave her some little ass shaking, it always felt awkward when he did that but her husband was far from being a shy man. He blew a kiss to her before he went back to what he was doing. She pretended to catch the virtual kiss and held it against her chest for a while, then she blew him a kiss back. This was perfection she thought to herself. ‘Mom! Come and tie my shoes for me, I’m already late for school’ her 6 year old daughter who was in the living room called out to her. Hearing her daughter’s voice was always the highlight of her day. ‘I’m coming honey, I am packing your breakfast’ she said while trying to fasten up what she was doing. The music playing on the radio stopped all of a sudden, which was weird she thought. It felt like the whole city had gone quiet in an instance. They never stop playing music until it was 12pm, and the time was a little over nine thirty. She picked up the radio to investigate what the problem could be, the she gave it a little tap to see if the music would restart. It still kept on playing static noises. “Mom!” her daughter screamed this time. She was very impatient for a little girl. This wouldn’t be the first time she would be going late to school, so she wondered why all the rush. “I will soon be right there with you honey,” she said rather less interested about her daughters nagging to why the lawn mower’s engine had gone off. She shifted the curtain of her window to know what was going on. Her husband was no longer in sight and the lawn mower was overturned. She became frightened and she tried looking at all angles to find her husband while she continuously yelled ‘honey’. Nothing seemed unusual except the overturned lawn mower. Maybe her husband was up to one of his pranks, and this time it wasn’t even funny. One day he would give her a heart attack, she always told him any time he tries pulling such pranks on her. She was taken aback the by sight of blood splattered against the edges of the lawn mower. This triggered her anxiety attack and she began to breathe faster. This bloody prank always gets to her, she hated the sight of blood. She tried to get a closer look at the lawn mower by moving close to the window and she was startled to her core by the sight of her husband pressed against the window. His face looked like it had been shredded with a meat grinded. He had blood all over him. His jaw bones were visible and one of his eyes were missing, exposing his eye socket. He was trying to say something but he wasn’t audible, she tried to reach for him when she heard her daughters scream calling out to her. “Mom! Mom!! Mom!!” she looked back to the direction of the sitting room, then turned immediately to stare back at her husband to tell him she was coming back for him but he was already gone. What was left was just splashes of his blood all over the window in a pattern suggesting that something or someone had dragged him off the window, sliding his face over the window. She shook with fear at this point, and the remembering her daughter’s calls. She dropped the toasted bread she was holding and immediately ran to the living room. She saw her daughter clenched up like a ball at the right corner of the living room, while she covered her face screaming. She called out to her to come towards where she stood. Her daughter raised her teary face up and looked at her. Her face went pale, like she had just seen a ghost. “Mon behind you,” her daughter screamed while pointing towards her. The smell that emanated from what was behind her was horrible. It smelt of decayed flesh and putrefied organs, and it made some sort of distorted grunted sounds. She turned slowly around, and opened her eyes wide in shock to what she saw. Its whole body was looked grey like that of a decomposing corpse. It had no eyes, just black empty sockets with maggots coming out from them. It stared at her like she was nothing but food. She could not explain what she was looking at, the best she could think of was a walking dead. The creature in front of her looked like someone had dig up a thousand year old mummy and given it life. It opened its mouth to expose its decomposed teeth having fresh blood and flesh hanging out from it. She screamed in panic and without thinking, ran towards her daughter, picked her up by her hands and made a run for her back door. The creature ran after her. She opened the back door, with her daughter on her back and ran for her car. What she saw outside was total chaos. Smoke from burning cars and houses had engulfed the once clear sky, it seemed like a black hood had covered the earth. Cars moving haphazardly jammed against each other like the drivers of such vehicles had gone mad. People were running helter shelter in no particular direction as these creatures chased after them. Dead bodies laid around with the creatures feasting on them by tearing flesh from bones. She saw her husband’s body or what was left of him lying in front of their car, but she had no time to be sad. Her heart sunk in dismay just looking at what was done to her husband’s body. She was sure she didn’t want her daughter to see her father in that state, so she immediately covered her daughter’s eyes and made her way to open the door of her car. She tried opening the door but it was stuck. She pulled and pulled but it wasn’t bulging. The zombie was just few feet away from where she was. “The keys” she thought. She left them on the dining table. How could she not remember the keys? She turned round to see the zombie already upon her. Using her hands, she covered her daughter in a protective gesture, shut her eyes tightly and then waited for the creature to devour them both. The sound of metal crashing on bones forced her to open her eyes to see the creature crushed under the tires of a car. “Get in immediately,” she heard the voice of her neighbor call out to her. He must have saw the situation she was in and came to her rescue. He was driving a black pickup van, with the bumper almost fallen apart. She ran towards the driver’s seat of his car while crying her daughter still on her hands. He opened the door for her and she hopped in immediately closing the door behind her abruptly. “What’s going on”, she asked him while panting heavily from all she has been through. He ignored her and started the engine immediately began to move. She saw stress and pain in his eyes. That was when she noticed his wife and two kids were not with him in the car. She saw blood all over his hands. She did not need anyone to tell her his wife and kids were gone. He switched on the radio and an emergency broadcast was playing. “… Everyone should stay calm and remain indoors. The military and home land security are on their way to restore order. Latest information reaching us here in the studio is that there has been an out outbreak of an unknown virus which has spread life a wild fire across the country and into Europe, Asia and Africa. The virus is believed to…” the broadcast what interrupted by the already familiar grunted sounds of the creatures and the loud scream of the radio broadcaster. Her neighbor seemed lost in his thoughts when she saw a group of the creatures blocking the road and screamed pointing to them. He tried to sway the vehicle to avoid colliding with them but lost control of it and it summersaulted a couple of times before it came to a stop. She was already bleeding from her head and her daughter looked unconscious. From the broken front window she could see the creatures heading towards their car. She tried to get free of her seat belt but it was stuck. She looked around for anything sharp to use and cut them but there was none. She knew this was the end of her journey. The creatures kept their eyes on their car as they rushed frenetically towards it. She was too weak to scream, too weak to move, too weak to wish. So she just gently laid down back and closed her eyes, hoping they would make it quick, while reaching for her daughter who was still unconscious in a last desperate bid to assure her that all would be alright. She heard sounds of gun shots, several rounds fired. And then a firm and masculine voice said to her in a very reassuring tone “Good day ma’am, I’m Silas with the US army. Remain calm and we would get you out of here.” ...to be continued.

Africans are behind in the World of Crytocurrency and here is why They say that information is power and in the right hands, power is wealth. While the rest of the world is moving on from hard currency to cryptocurrency, from fuel-powered cars to electric cars, most African countries have decided to hold onto the mentality of the past, not willing to bulge or change, thereby developing future investments around these fast-fading assets. NIGERIA as an example, several of her Senators have suggested the adoption of electric cars but the idea has been thrown away at arrival because they believe that the country solely depends on its exportation of Oil for survival, and adopting electric cars could mean a decrease in GDP. So what happens to the use of Cryptocurrency and why African countries are scared of adopting it? Based on speculations, most Africans and African businesses or politicians are not sophisticated enough to understand the power cryptocurrency has, so while the Local currencies keep depreciating daily and cryptocurrency keeps adding Value, they are still adamant in sticking with local currencies and you may wonder why. Here are some speculative/logical reasons 1) the fear of modern colonization While cryptocurrency is largely decentralized, explaining to an African man that using cryptocurrency does not put his money in the hands of "white" People and makes him a modern slave may be difficult. The dear of becoming a modern slave to whatever new investments that may be booming up would keep an African man tightly bound to his local currencies no matter how much they devalue. 2) The fear of the Unknown While this can be said to be a major factor as the cryptocurrency market is usually controlled by market forces and anything an African man can't control, he does not want to be involved with. Also since cryptocurrency isn't a hard currency and cannot be seen or touched physically, some people may feel discouraged in buying into the idea of using it. With these and many other sublime reasons, it would become a Herculean task to convince an average African man to buy into the idea of cryptocurrency. So what's the way forward? Information! Africans are known to be power-hungry but lazy about it especially when it's hiding in a book. But making them understand that the information held within the world of cryptocurrency could give them the kind of power that local currencies can't buy, maybe they'll sit down and listen.

Dear Mr. Perfectionist I have got to accept it though You see one thing with a Learned behavior is that it messes you up real time and real big and no drug or amount of prayer can save you. Well maybe except you pretend like it isn't there. We are four in my family, 3 guys and a girl, and I am the second son. Now the situation is, the first son is trained to be the power horse of the house, He does all the heavy lifting, the washing of cars, the fetching of water and most importantly, protection of the rest of us and my senior brother is the best in his role. Come to the third son, subliminally trained to be the watch dog of the house, daddy's boy, always reporting wrongs doings, looking for who to report to papa and most importantly always fighting with the rest of us, and my junior brother is good at this. My sister, The last born, precious, our damsel, Mama's love, everyone's favorite, we were more focused on training her to be the woman we want to succeed in this cruel world. And growing up in the midst of 3 guys you know what's up. And then there is me, The second born. Nothing much to do than to become the fixing agent. The last resort. The PERFECTIONIST. I was brought up to be a perfectionist. To perfect everything that's broken. Say when the load is too heavy for big bro, then I am always there to save the day. When a fight is going on and big bro can't handle them, then I am always there to save the day. When there are two cars to be washed then I am always there to save the day. My work? To save the damn day. Mum comes back home and the house looks untidy, Well shedrach you've got to save the day and sweep the house. The remote is in the wrong place you've got to put it back to it's right place. Going to the market, being the brightest in the house because you most definitely need it. And all this made me what I am today. A low key perfectionist... It got to a point I could not stand anything that's disorganized. I can't stay in a house that isn't neat. I can't stand anyone who looks untidy. I Can't even bring myself to use other people's toilet because these things, I can't fix. So it's get me uncomfortable, irritated that I can't fix them but have to stare at them the whole freaking day. One day I visited a friend and he drank pure water after eating and threw it on the ground. I kept staring at the pure water sachet and forcing myself to ignore it but I couldn't. I just couldn't. I asked him to kindly discard it in the waste bin but he ignored me, after struggling with knowing the damn sachet isn't in the right place, I stood up, picked it up and threw it in the waste bin. wuasshh, I found my peace back. Another story... One day I had to drop from a bus because one of the passengers threw a damn Coke can out of the window and I couldn't stand it. I dropped from the bus, Trekked back to the spot and picked the bottle and took it home to discard in the waste bin. At least I could fix that Sometimes people don't get me. Sometimes I don't get myself too. Bro why is your hair line not in symmetry? Babe your eyebrows don't look aligned, And you've got to fix it if not I'll be reckless. At a point I had to go on YouTube to perfect my handwriting, Now it's the envy of many. These things could be good sometimes. And other times well, The just hiss and call me a Perfectionist.

Here is why the "AA" genotype carriers are seen as gods in my country Many may be wondering why in most parts of Africa especially NIGERIA, those who are of blood genotype AA are seen as gods when it comes to marrying and choosing a partner? It partly stems from the Medical Importance of the blood group AA to those that have the genotype "S" and partly due to gross misinformation and ignorance. Walking into a hospital backed marriage guidance and counseling session in my country, the first thing you'll see is that anyone who has an "S" attached to their genotype Should not marry anyone who also has an "S" in their genotype. They give little or no explanation to this mystery and as a couple, it can be frustrating. All you know is that the Church would not ordain your marriage because you and your wife have an "S" in your genotype. But there is a solution, they say. Do not be weary and if sad countenance, either of you can always marry someone with an "AA" Genotype, with no explanation. They just tell you that no matter the genotype you have, you can always marry an "AA" genotype, they could always be your lord and savior when it comes to marriage. So it's no surprise when you are on a date with a lady or a guy who is supposed of any of these common genotypes a) AS b) SS c) AC d) SC to ask you, what's your Genotype as a First Date question. They just want to be safe. They don't want to be heartbroken by the news that they can't get married to you after dating for more than 5 years just because of your Genotype. Sadly, many have tossed the advice and warnings of the church and went ahead to get married and are now suffering the consequences, giving birth to an SS or sickle cell child. The trauma could be overwhelming as the management of such illness in Nigeria is very poor. So dear ones, Why can't a person who has an "S" in his or her Genotype get married to another with an "S". Below is a simple explanation. Following the Mendelian law of inheritance, a child gets one each of a gene pair from the father and the mother, even resonating down to the simplest of details like eye color and so on. In the end, depends on who has a dominant gene for a particular trait, the child may either have the mother's phenotype or the father's Phenotype. Safe genotypes include AA, AS and AC, as long as there is an "A" which is the dominant gene, the person remains relatively fine. But if two people having an "S" gets married, they chances of them bringing into this world a child with an SS Genotype is 1/4 and medically, because of the traumatic experience attached with being a child with an SS Genotype, such union is frowned upon and the church has also adopted to frown upon such union. Having a sickle cell child in this part of the world is a nightmare and Should be avoided at all costs. One may ask, so is it possible for a parent who is SS and AA to give birth to an SS child, 4he answer, medically is NO. So you see why the genotype AA is hailed as a god? They could marry any other genotype without FEAR! #shreds.

Here is how a real relationship was destroyed by "the World's" standards I remember my first real relationship. It was beautiful in all ramifications. Do I regret we broke up? Yeah Do I miss her still? Yeah Do I feel I could have done more? Yeah Do I want her back? Uhmmm... Before I answer that let me tell you guys the story So we were this teenage power couple. We had everything mapped out. We loved the same things and the stuff we had different views about, we talked maturely about it. We had a future I swear. Everything made sense with this girl. it was real, no faking it, no pretense, just the two of us. We were in a community relationship. Everyone in her street knew who I was. The corn seller called me inlaw, the woman who sells provisions in a small kiosk calls me "our son", her mom embraced me like a man fit for her daughter. Her siblings were my best friends, I mean what could go wrong? One time she wanted to come to my place but I left early to go get something, I left my key inside my shoe that was outside. This girl went to my place and called me. I thought she was calling to ask me where my key was but naa... she was already inside my house, Calling for something else... how did you know where I dropped my key? I asked, "well I know you", She replied. We were that connected, we could predict our moves, complete our words. They said everything good always comes to an end... not us, never... We swore to fight for our love. We read books about relationships. Yeah, we did. We explored. We were so scared of losing what we had that before we even started losing it, we were already fighting for it. Now that's where the problem came. We were fighting for what's ours already... We let the world in... It was supposed to be just her and me, but no, we were too scared that we forgot everything, all our promises, how far we've come, we forgot it all. One book at a time, One advice at a time and we slowly lost touch with reality. We hated going out to eat as a couple, we preferred to cook indoors, but one of those relationship books said we should go out as often as we could. We hated the idea but if this book worked for millions, it should work for us too, and so we went out. We hated It but we did. We began doing what the world saw as a perfect relationship and forgot what we felt was perfect. We wanted to please the world. We were fixing what wasn't broken. So imagine a doctor performing surgery on a perfectly normal person. Something somewhere is bound to go wrong, And so it began, everything began to go wrong. We were so engrossed in the thoughts of losing ourselves that we began to lose ourselves. We lost touch, we became more of what-ifs and not what we wanted. The world had caught up with us. The corn seller saw this coming and advised us, you don't have to do it, but we didn't listen. The relationship book said it would work. And so one book said, "stay away from each other for a week and you'll understand how important you are to yourselves". We already knew how important we were to each other, so why did we do it? but the book said so. Other people confirmed it works, so we did. One week became two weeks and two weeks became a month, and a month became two months. You know how it works. And so gradually, we learned instead, how to live without the other. And after all the fights and struggling, After the sleepless nights and teary eyes, Days we would be in each other's arms but we were worlds apart, I remembered the first time I made her cry or the first time she yelled at me, everything began to be a first time for bad stuff. After all the fight and energy we put in, We knew it was over. We stood no chance. The world was already in between us and we could not fight it anymore. So on January 30th, 2014. On my birthday, I broke up with her, not because we were enemies or anything, but because we let them tear us apart. She knew it was over, But she didn't have the strength to break it up. And I didn't want that burden on her, so I took that burden from her and I broke it up myself, on my birthday, so I can everyday remember what it feels like if you ever let the world come into your relationship. Always do you. She cried and cried. I cried too, not in front of her, I had to be the bad guy. I knew she had to hate me to move on. So I made her hate me, So she could move on. That's how much I loved her. Now everyone who saw a future in our relationship became disappointed. her family now hates me. But that's fine. I did what I had to do. They say I broke her heart. We both knew it was over and we were holding on to something we let go of a long time ago. No one cared to ask me about the countless nights I spent crying, Forcing myself not to pick up the phone and ask to tell her we should give our love another chance. It would only break us more. Better an injured soldier than a dead one, a broken heart than a dead one. So, Do I want her back? I guess you know the answer now. #shreds

The story of a sad unemployed NIGERIAN graduate The surprise I stood under the burning sun and wondered why I was created in the first place, if I even had a purpose, maybe the gods were done with me and I closed my eyes to welcome an angel or anybody to take me home. I could hear the heavens open and the strong sound of whirlwind fills the air as it gained momentum and speed, resonating with the flapping of the wings of an angel, Alas, I will soon be... "Shadrach!" This sounded like the voice of an angel calling me home "Shadrach!" Wait... sounds more like my... "Shadrach!, Have you fetched the water I said you should fetch..." yeah... sounds like my mum... I whizzed up from sleep and checked the time 8.05 am, I had fallen asleep for just 5minutes, this was day 57 of being an unemployed Nigerian graduate and I was already losing it... I want to share a story for all my Brothers out there who may be losing faith and waiting for the big surprise... always do your best and leave the rest for God... here is my story as it continues... I was told if I read and worked hard and be one of the best in whatever I did, life may just be easy for me. Well, it wasn't that easy... even after being one of the best I was one of the last to get placement... but I will skip the long story and get straight to the point... I stayed one full year at home after graduation. Not funny at all, but I learned a lot in that one year. Some medics may have stayed 2 and even 5 years. Don't lose faith. After writing so many internship exams and even called for interview for some, went the extra mile of paying for "assistance at two instances" but none produced any good news. Every day I stood under the sun and wonder why I was created, why it seemed everyone was moving forward except me, why the world had left me behind... why I couldn't catch up, and so on my deepest and darkest days I saw the advert for internship placement for JUTH, reluctantly I applied and forgot about it, besides I Wasn't going to write it anyway... I am at East, JUTH is too far. And I received a message on a Friday inviting me for the internship exam to hold on Tuesday and Wednesday interview. I told myself I wasn't going to go, I already had a gig with FMC off, I was going to click.. lo and behold the next day FMC off the list was released and my name wasn't there... boy how a grown-up man cried... I said "connection" failed me again... a very good friend of mine Augustine pressured me to go for JUTH, give it a trial, and I said NO, lemme focus on NAUTH I began going from office to office at NAUTH looking for a savior... that night my day called me and something brought up the issue of JUTH, he said I should just go and write, besides I had nothing to lose, told him about the financial implications, I had no money again after jumping from one state to another and he told me he got me covered... so I reluctantly packed my stuff and the next day I traveled to jos... Reached around 10 pm, was too tired, couldn't even read... the next day I rushed to JUTH and immediately I got there I discovered I left all my credentials back at Nnewi... chia, my village people have finally caught up with me, how a big boy cried that day... I just stood confused and agitated, boy I was crying... like the interview was tomorrow what am I supposed to do, I checked my watch, 7.45 am, I called my senior brother who was at Onitsha to please head down to Nnewi and get my original certificates and waybill it to Jos for me, he could hear me cry and he left all he was doing and rushed to Nnewi, got the certificates from a friend who had my keys and waybill it immediately... the interview was tomorrow, I knelt and prayed that somehow it gets to me tomorrow... I entered the exam hall confused and unfocused, I couldn't even remember my name, I said a short prayer and wrote the exam. "Everyone comes with your original certificates or don't come at all," the examiner said like he was talking directly to me... after the very intense exam while everyone was saying it was simple, me it was very difficult ohhh... I called my brother and he said he had done the waybill... God let my coming here not be for nothing... The next day the interview was to start by 9, I collected someone's number and told them if they started they should call me, I stayed at the park from 7, 8, 9, 10... no bus had arrived, "ehhh!! You say!! Luxurious bus kee you dre!!" I hung up the phone in anger.. my brother had done the waybill via a luxurious bus and I just heard the bus spoilt on the road... I was so devasted I just bent my head to cry.... lord... just take me. I felt my phone vibrate, I looked at my watch 3.32 pm.. did I fall asleep or something.. 32missed calls from my brother and the guy who I told to call me, I called him back, he said he left the hospital since and when he did it was remaining like 20people to be interviewed... God what's happening... the hospital was like an hour from where I was, 2bus drops... I hurried and was asking myself why I am even in a hurry.. omo I just took my time and went to the hospital to try my luck... when I got there, the examiners were already packing up, I asked a girl where they were doing the interview and she told me they finished an hour ago but I should just enter and see if they allow me... I said a short prayer and entered "Good afternoon sir and ma, I am here for the interview" They all looked at me puzzled, I forgot how untidy I was, I had removed my tie, my shirt was flying out and my hair scattered... "Please, I had a very stressful day... I forgot..." "Did you finish from UJ"... an interviewer interrupted my explanation... "No sir, from unizik sir..." "I did my MSc. In unizik, did you know so and so lecturer...." and that was how they engaged me in a conversation while I tried to gain my composure... "Sit down..." then they started asking me questions and to God be the glory though difficult, somehow I knew the answers and at every point, we discussed or derailed... after the interview... one was like "so show us your original certificates so we can tick them.." I wanted to start explaining and the other cut in "please there is no time, and he ticked everything for me..." I was just so stunned that a big boy had to cry once more... I helped them pack up and they wished me good luck... I had to wait till Saturday before my original certificates reached jos then off I went back to Nnewi A month later I got a message "congratulations, you've been offered internship placement at JUTH..." See yeah, when God decides to embarrass you with blessings, he removes all avenues where man can decide to take the Glory and show you that he and he alone did it... and you know why this was perfect, I applied for something at the University of Jos last year January and I also got a mail last two weeks that I had gotten what I applied for... just see how God works... I use to wonder why JUTH, now I get it... I forgot about the second application but God never forgets when he is involved... see... work hard and pray.. you will soon get your own "Surprise" My tears no go waste this year... #shreds

A bird at hand is better than one in the forest A bird at hand is better than... (Based on true events) We all have heard the saying ' what we seek may be right in front of us but we are too focused on what we don't have, and we miss it" Well, this story explains this saying... During those days when I was still anonymous on social media and my name was simply "shreds" and I had no picture of mine on Facebook. My Dp was a picture of a man writing with the sun. She has been liking and commenting on my Facebook posts for the longest time. I took notice of her finally when she commented on one of my photos "your write-up blazes like the sun"... That line got to me. I went through her profile, she was cute and looked like she had everything sorted out well, I said great. Well, she kept on commenting nice stuff on every of my write-up.. keep in mind I haven't uploaded any picture of mine so she does not know what I looked like... So one day I decided to appreciate her in the DMS. Went to chat her up and saw she dropped already a couple of messages. I felt bad. I don't usually reply to DMS... So I chatted her up.. replied all the hi and hellos she's ever sent... We got talking and stuff was flowing. It was fun. She consistently asked me for my pictures which I declined... But she sent hers and I got to know her well.. long story short. I liked her.. but I've had a bad experience with relationships I just needed to be careful... Fast forward three weeks after we began talking... We stay in the same city... I bumped into her... She didn't know it was me anyway... I've got my charms and my looks.. so I engaged her in a discussion and already knowing a bit about her. It was easy to talk about what she liked. So why I chatted with her on Facebook as anonymous. I chatted with her on WhatsApp as me, with an actual face.. but she didn't know though..fast forward a month after we meet... On WhatsApp we clicked and arranged to meet.. she was already frustrated by the fact that the "me" on messenger refused to send her my pictures but we still talked all day. She had professed her love for me a million times. So she came to my place that evening... After talking, She decided to stay over, that night I asked her out and she said yes.. we became a thing.. so I wanted to tell her that I was the "anonymous" on Facebook who writes but I kept my peace. I wanted to check something. Now she usually tells me she has no boyfriend and stuff... Now she has one.. I'll ask her again on Facebook. One week after we started dating I asked her on Facebook if she had a boyfriend again. She laughed and said no... I was like wow.. no kidding. I even told her I wouldn't be deterred to ask her out even if she had. she still denied it. I felt heartbroken... The next week she came to my place and after all said and done.. we pressing phone and she's all smiling and stuff.. well because I was making her to on Facebook.. so I was like "babe... Do you love me? Is there any other guy in your life? Would you deny me if someone else asked you if you had a boyfriend". I was optimistic she would decide but she didn't... She said she loves me bla bla bla and was proud to have me blaa bla bla.. would never sent me bla bla bla... Ok... So me on Facebook now asked where she was and what she was doing.. babe said she was alone in her house and just laying down.. wow.. e pain me gan... So I requested a selfie.. babe legit went to the bathroom... Took off the sweatshirt she was wearing and sent a very sensual pic. Oh well. I guess this relationship ain't for me... She kept asking me on Facebook to send a pic of myself and I legit assured her I was handsome she shouldn't worry. Babe was now like ok... She'll send me some dudes pictures and I should use them and grade my handsomeness... Baba... This girl sent my picture and two other guys' own. I was in shock. I asked her who the guys were and she said they were just pictures of guys she downloads from the web just now.. oh wow.. so I'm now some guy you downloaded from the web.. ok oh.. so I told her I was as handsome as the second guy which was me.. she smiled and said coolly. I left her house the next day... Broke up with her via a call... Told her it wasn't working.. she pleaded and stuff but naa. I wasn't having it .. and I stopped replying to her on Facebook...she kept messaging me on both places like girl don't you have shame... Pick one... Anyways.. after like a week that was when I uploaded my pictures for the first time.. babe fainted. Babe kept saying gibberish but I wasn't having any of that... I was done... It obvious love ain't for me... Or I haven't met a girl who loves truly... Either way... We should know what we may be searching for... It's just right in front of us. But we are so focused on what we don't have that we lose sight of what we got... As they said.. a bird at hand is better than two in the forest... She lost both... She lost me #shreds

We always seek perfection in the wrong places Perfection in the wrong place I had this Samsung tab once that never stopped misbehaving, hanging, it usually just trips off on its own but since I had so many personal files in it, I endured till one day I was talking with a potential client and the phone tripped off... I didn't know when I removed my sim card, smashed the phone, and went ahead to buy a new one... I will mourn my files later. When it comes to gadgets, machines, toys, and so on, their complexity is all to perform a certain fixed function and it's our right to seek perfection in them... let us not confuse machines and gadgets with humans... Humans are not perfect Humans cannot be perfect Humans should not be asked to be perfect But encouraged to strive towards perfection One day I summoned the courage to ask mum why she got a divorce I mean dad always came around He was nice, loved us, and they seemed cool Mum why? Why strip us of the chance to have a father figure She burst out in tears My son, she said... it is a long story But I was adamant to know why Mum... why? Dad was the best guy I ever came across, she said, "He loved every single thing about me. He gave me all I could ever ask for but somehow he always wanted more... I thought I could always improve for him "I hate the way you walk", he says "I hate the way you smile", he says "I hate the way you eat", he says Nothing ever was okay for him. But I tried son, I tried. For him, I cut my hair. For him, I hit the gym every day. For him, I let go of all my friends. For him, I let go of my dreams, Not until he brought his craziness to you, my kids. I couldn't take it anymore, He is always is like, "That your son laughs too much, That your daughter walks like a goat, Do something about it...". I could not take it anymore The day he asked for corrective surgery to change your eye color I had to do the hardest thing in the world Strip his damaging father figure from you... I was already in tears But I didn't understand what she said That was 10 years ago Now I do... I had this girlfriend who always made me feel inferior And never for once encouraged me You cant even smile like a man she says How does a man even smile... damn it!!! Your house no the ever pay? Yet no advice after the statement She used every chanced to demean me I just dumped her a few minutes ago in a car park And decided to write this Don't let anyone tell you how you should do this Don't let anyone turn you into a perfect freak Do good and be yourself... Know you can't be perfect for everyone Dad likes the way you walk but uncle hates it Chike likes the way you talk but Tunde hates it Someone somewhere must hate what you do... So be yourself Do your thing Be confident And always strive for perfection ... Jesus himself said only the father is perfect in his ways... there is a benchmark, a foundation we work towards, we may never get there, but we make efforts every day... just like a girl who broke her legs and day in day outputs those broken legs to working until they begin to function again... she may not walk as good as she uses to, but she walks anyways... appreciate peoples effort... seeking perfection in a relation kills it even before it starts... you may decide to change for someone but let it be to your best interest... or you may just wake up one day and realize your whole existence was a lie... Nobody is perfect.... yet we all have that perfect zone... live within that zone #shreds

Have you ever wondered what Catholic Priest go through on your behalf? Read here That priest you see, that man smiling on the altar and saying "peace be with you" all day, looking so strong, agile, active and focused... what if I told you he doesn't have it as it seems, that he was thought for years to look his best even in worse situations... They are called priests... I have this attitude of giving that "respect space" to people or professions I admire a lot. Growing up as a child, I always wanted to be a priest, to be at the forefront of everything, to be given that respect of being called a father to all, well I asked God to do something for me, and if he did I would be a priest... He didn't, I guess it's his way of saying I am not meant to be one... So I tried to phantom the face behind the mask of smiles and "it's all good" face these priests wear everyday... I discovered there was a great turmoil of tremendous bad waves hitting them at every front but yet they smile and say peace be unto you.... let me break it down for you... I once had a priest in my growing days who was a neighbor to us. He had so many visitors a day that sometimes he comes to my house to steal an hour or two of uninterrupted sleep before he goes back to see people. He always said with a smile, if someone looks for me, tell them I went out, and wake me up after 30minutes of their arrival, well I and my brother always made it 2 hours... He deserved some sleep, please... This same priest prays every night for every single person who comes to see him with pieces of paper all filled with prayer request... sometimes my mum will wake us up and we would stay awake with the priest in our own house praying for him.. for Gods grace on him... God, he needs it... They say energy can neither be created nor destroyed... but we take our bad energies to the priest and he takes it from us and carries them all on his shoulders, no wonder they are called father... this priest does marriage counseling, advice couples, solves marital issues, family disputes, siblings disputes, and when he does it all, hears these sad and damaging stories, takes the hate from marriage partners, solves disputes, we all go back home happy to our families, friends, wives, but him, he goes back to an empty house with just a cross, a bed, and a tissue to wipe his midnight tears and most importantly a bible to pray for us... They too need peace of mind. This same priest neighbor listens to endless confessions, those that one can't even comprehend, sins that the heart cannot phantom, and he still has to ask God to forgive us... He too is human you know... and we come back the next day to confess the same sins and the torture continues... yet every time they smile and say, my son, God forgives you... we feel relieved that we have shared our deepest and darkest secret with someone but guess what... they are not at liberty to share these hunting tales with anyone... so they carry it like a cross wherever they go.... still that one same priest... Not to talk of the fact that they preach every day, serve mass everywhere, legs always moving, mouth always preaching, tongue always speaking, eyes always open, hands always closed in prayers, stomach always fasting, the heart always pleading and lungs trying to breathe for one more day... that same neighbor priest. One day, as usual, he came to sleep an hour or two in our house, after blessing us, he touched my forehead and said his usual prayer for me and my brother before he laid down... I murmured, I am sorry. He looked shocked, for what my son For the stress we put you through every day, I replied He said something that made me smile "If it was by my strength, I would have quit a long time ago..." Then he fell asleep immediately... today I told my brother... he will sleep for an extra one hour.. funny enough, we let him sleep the whole day, he would continue tomorrow, but today, let the shepherd rest... God indeed empowers those he calls... please always pray for That priest. #shreds

Here is my experience on believing God's timing is the best Experiences Sometime early this year, after I was fed up with searching for an internship, I went to a bookstore to buy a book on entrepreneurship skills... On getting to the book store, I saw a long time classmate of mine. She looked so "Tushed" up and beautiful I had to call her attention. We exchanged pleasantries and she asked me how was school treating me... Well, I told her that I was done and I was still in search of an internship and just like getting admission through jamb, it was frustrating and sometimes not fair... She laughed and said nothing good comes easy, infant it may just be God's will... ah, "God's will ko God's will ni..." It's because you have finished serving and working that you will think it's easy, I replied. Her countenance changed immediately I mentioned school.. she took a step back to regain her composure, she cleaned the tear that was forming in her eyes and told me she has not gotten admission yet, that this was her 6th year now in search of admission. I was dumbfounded and was about apologizing when she interrupted me. Don't, she said. It may have been the best thing that happened to her. For two years she searched and then fell into depression but then in the pit of depression, she found her calling. She forgot about school and worked several small jobs including tailoring and now after 4years of practice, she has her designers and a few tailoring outposts, stores, and a team of decorators, and in one of her business outings, she met a highly ranked professor of a university who promised to secure her an admission after telling him her story that in fact, she was just from jamb office to buy jamb form. this time the tears were from my eyes as I stood in awe. she concluded by saying God is over everything. she recommended a book for me and then left. Wow I said, turning to the bookseller I asked him how much was the book, he told me 4,500 but all I had was 2,500, I told him. He gave me the book and said I should go. Oh, you want to dash me the book and he replied that the young lady that just let had already paid for it. Now I shed a tear... in my quest to do good too, I bought watermelon and banana of 400N each from different roadside vendors, gave the women 1k each, and told them to keep the change... I suddenly felt at ease and went home with a story to tell... I know many of us like me are going through difficulties, it internship? Work? admission? exams? Money? And we have failed to see the hand of God in all these? remember he said the plans he has for us are plans of good not evil to give us an expected end. never give up, keep striving to do your best and in God's time, the results would show, be prepared!!! #shreds

Domestic violence: are women to be blamed for pushing men too far? Read here Why push MEN? I Am not a fan of domestic violence and never will and I join a million voices worldwide in saying NO TO DOMESTIC VIOLENCE but why treat the symptoms while neglecting the disease. Men are created with a huge ego and the system or society we find ourselves in actually laughs at men with little or no ego yet the frown when men act on their ego. Ladies enjoy playing with fire expecting not to get burnt, it’s weird psychology I have not yet understood. I will tell you a story. At my former compound, there is this very girl who enjoys getting on my nerves. So on this faithful day, I fetched a bucket of water from the tap, went out to grab something only to come back, and discover this girl had overturned my water into her bucket. I asked her why she did such and she just hissed and whispered why can't I help a lady. Well, I smiled, fetched another, and lo and behold this same girl came and overturned my water into her bucket. I became furious and turned it back into my bucket and warned her. She came straight to my face and gave me the insult of my life and you know the words that stood out ‘what will you do to me’… she kept saying those words I felt so powerless because I could not do anything, why? Society is going to tag me as a girl beater. In the course of the quarrel the water poured, I diligently walked away, fetched my bucket of water and was about to leave… this girl took my bucket, threw the water out and kept screaming ‘stupid boy, what can you do, nonsense and typhoid’. I became so furious I raised my face to slap her but restrained myself. By then people were already looking at us. I picked up my bucket, kept on the tap, and was about to fetch water when this girl threw my bucket away and was about to scream ‘what will you…’ I swear this was not me again as my instinct took over me and I landed her a dirty slap that sent her flying like superman, it wasn’t still enough as I followed her and landed her two more slaps. She started crying and screaming I must kill her today… that day nobody asked what happened, everybody called me a girl beater, society defended her, why will you hit a girl they said, I gave up explaining and then received the beating of my life. I regretted slapping her actually and vowed never to hit a woman no matter what, I had learned the hard way that some women are crazy… she pushed me to my limit. Why push men I keep asking, why dare them?? I know of a couple who had a misunderstanding and the man gently left his own house for the woman, you know what this woman did? she followed this innocent man outside, tied her wrapper around her waists, and started calling him names in front of neighbors “useless man, idiot, touch me and see, nonsense and yellow fever”, but the man knew better, he ignored her and kept going his way, this woman now held him by his shirt and said he is not going anywhere that he must mad to walk out on her, the man angrily pushed her to the ground and she fell and bruised herself, that was when neighbors ran, started taking pictures of her injury and the woman kept screaming ‘you must kill me today oh’. oh of course the media buried this man with hate speech and called him a wife-beater… why push men. I know of another man who came back home and asked his wife why she had not cooked and she said she does not have the strength to (maybe she read a feminist post and misunderstood what it was talking about). Well shocked, this young man went into the kitchen, prepared his meal, after preparing, he went to take his bath only for him to come out and discover the lady had thrown away the food insisting he had no right to treat her like that (silent treatment)… this young man walked out, went to buy food outside only to come back and discover she had locked him outside. He knocked and knocked and knocked and she refused to open. He should know the kinda anger that made him break his door and went straight to beat his wife but on reaching where she was he remembered that she was his wife and warned her seriously. Well, this woman tied the wrapper and swore the man must kill her oh. Why would he be talking to her like that, besides they are equal ‘nonsense and bacterial infection’, so he pummeled her. Nobody asked what happened, called him a wife-beater, and say no to domestic violence campaign continues…. Men endure a lot at work, from society and people who would at every turn want to destroy them and when they come home instead of to seek peace, instead they come home to a ‘trouble-seeking’ wife and you feel they won't lose their temper? Why push men? The fact that men are not supposed to hit women doesn’t mean women should rub it at their face… look at school fights, a girl that the boy will blow just once and she will die will be screaming what will you do, throwing all kinda insults?? Why push men... And I know that some deranged men beat women for no reason and such men should be locked up and beaten to a pulp, they exist but I tell you, 90% of domestic violence cases have women to blame… let us treat the disease. Women don’t push men, nobody is asking you to be weak, respect men, and watch what you say… society asks questions before you tag a man wife-beater… And most importantly men, please and please never beat a woman, trust me it's not worth it at all, if it's too much walk away, and if they follow you, just like the bible said and joseph did flee, I didn’t say run or, flee... it's not worth it.. women, don’t push men. I pray we don’t forget the face of our fathers.

Read about the controversial Origin of Islam according to the Bible Muslims understand Islam to be the religion of Abraham, like wise, in Christianity, Abraham stood to be a very prominent figure during the old testament days. Stories of Abraham as described in the Bible have been confirmed in bits in the Qur'an. It's been discovered that Abraham's name was mentioned sixty mine (69) times in the Qur'an, more than any other biblical figures except for Moses who was mentioned one hundred and thirty seven (137) times. The Qur'an is familiar with some of the biblical stories about Abraham, including his journey to the promised land (Qur’an 21:71-73), the annunciation of Isaac (Qur’an 11:69-74, Qur’an 15:51-56, Qur’an 51:24-30), God's command for Abraham to sacrifice his son (Qur’an 37:99-113), and Abraham's interaction with Lot and the angels (Qur’an 11:74-83, Qur’an 29:28-35, Qur’an 51:31-37. Abraham is credited with establishing both the sanctuary in Mecca known as the "Kaaba" and the practice of Islamic pilgrimage (Haj) to that site (Qur’an 22:26-27, Qur’an 3:96-97, Qur’an 2:125-129). Ishmael, a figure in the Tanakh (Hebrew Bible) and the Qur'an, was Abraham's first son according to Jews, Christians and Muslims. Ishmael was born to Abraham and Sarah's Egyptian handmaiden Hagar (Hājar) (Genesis 16:3). According to the Genesis account, he died at the age of 137 (Genesis 25:17). The origin of Islam could be traced in the Bible (Genesis 16: 6-12). The story goes thus; In those days, Sarah, Abraham’s wife asked him to sleep with their handmaiden, Hagar because they were with no child and age wasn't on their side, and Abraham agreed. After that, Hagar became pregnant, and because she could get pregnant and Sarah couldn't, she despised her. Sarah became troubled by Hagar's behavior towards her and she then reported Hagar to Abraham, who replied her saying “Your slave is in your hands, do with her whatever you think best.” Sarah began to maltreat Hagar and so she fled from her. The angel of the lord found Hagar near a spring in the desert; it was the spring that is beside the road to Shur, and he asked her where she came from and where she was going. Hagar told the angel that she had fled from her mistress Sarah because she was been maltreated. Then the angel of the Lord told her to go back to Sarah and submit to her, and that the Lord will increase her descendants and make them numerous. The angel also said something of note which over the years have become a controversial topic as it seems to explain the behaviors of certain extremist Muslim groups. The angel of the Lord said to her: “You are now pregnant and you will give birth to a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the Lord has heard of your misery. He will be a wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone and everyone’s hand against him, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers. From this narrative, It is believed that the religion Islam was born on the day of the birth of Ishmael and from his descendants. Also, an arguable conclusion could be reached from this Bible narrative that both Islam and Christianity originated from Abraham.

Dear married Folks, here is what your children wish you knew Dear married folks, What are you people doing exactly?? Marriage is not a two years or five years enjoyment galor and the rest is a disaster or management sail, I mean are we now studying management? And when the kids come you totally forget you have a partner! My friend who just got married a year ago said getting married may be the best worst thing he did and if not for his little 3 month old kid he may have just left his wife, he further stated that he loves her but the spark isn’t there no more. In African society where divorce is seen more or less as a sacrilege and then sadly women hardly know how to survive if they get divorced, I mean most are house wives with basically nothing doing so they hang around their “dead” marriages, with both sexes enduring unbearable situations and later we the kids begin to celebrate 35 years anniversary for them or should I say 35years adversary?? Listen married folks, So because you are married, you will now discard all your lovely outfits and bumshorts and then go and buy all them loose wrappers, saggy nickers, slag and worn out tops? and be forming mama Africa and you think your partner will still find you attractive? I Am not in support of cheating but why won’t he cheat? I mean those things attracted him too so why drop them now? C'mon, look attractive for your man. And men, because you are now married you will throw away your six packs and go and carry one big pack “pot belle” as if you are now competing with pregnant women, what is all these?? So in your mind she finds it fatherly ko?? And you feel she will not look at that young guy with six packs abi?? my annoyance is that you will dress like slaves at home and your spouse will forget how beautiful you are and when you want to go out you will now remember to wear all those sexy outfits and you wonder why people always compliment you except your spouse and you think it’s the devil that is doing you ko? Bring back common sense someone please!! Ladies, you will spend 100k on nice hairs both Brazilian and versache and beautiful make up kits, wear them to work looking all tushed up for your friends and strangers to admire you but when you now get home to the man that probably bought these stuffs for you with his money ohh, you will now cover this 100K hair with one 100N dirty smelling hair net and wash off those pretty make up before the man of your dreams get the chance to admire you. Instead you will be walking around like one old zombie looking for who to save your marriage and you feel its now accept me the way I am because he is your husband, why not go the way you are to work? show some curves, look good, show off those nice hair to your husband?? You see its not the devil abi??? Ehe, dear mr husband material 1million, you remember when you were dating her abi? and you would buy all those fancy goodies for her, say nice things to her, call her my love, my baby, my assurance, my only transmission {just one oh}, you guys go on dinners, surprised dates, you even proposed to her on the moon, wetin happen brother in Christ?? What changed?? That she became your swore partner and wife? Now even new pant you will not buy, nice words you will not say, be calling her mama isinetugo or this woman that woman, is your brain paining you?? To take her out no, you will go out, get drunk and now come to bed and remember you have a doing machine, you see that you are mad abi??? The one that is paining me the most is this African mother’s hand and neck of a thing. So when you were still single and dating, girl you looked hot, you will do squatting friom morning till night, crunches, pushups, jogging to keep fit but now just look at you…. ehh fatty bumbo, run you cannot run, your tummy have big tire and its now falling covering the promise land that should be a priced place flowing with milk and honey! Your breast, lemme not even go there, your hand ehh, medics like myself cant even find a vein anymore talk more of to know if you still have a bone in there and later you will say he doesn’t fancy me?? Fancy ko, fancy ni.. will you keep quiet!! This one ehh, we die here, I tire. So before people use to think that you don’t shit, infant your husband one day asked you if you use to mess, but now.. arhhh!! If you finish shitting government will declare state of emergency in your area and quarantine the whole place, you will mess in front of your spouse oh lord!! and you think its funny after eating beans for two straight days, it will now be smelling transmission transmitting agenda of pure wickedness, and you feel you will make heaven, my dear you are on your way to damnation!! As a single you bath 10times a day to attract that one guy but now, even once a week is a miracle, based on what logistics?? Uncle husband aunty wife shave na, shave bikonu, your armpits, your pubis, your legs, abi are you breeding hairs too?? Your spouse don’t even want to kiss you again because you hardly brush, down there is now a sore sight!! Mpa wash your boxers, that your favourite boxers and women bra is not your wedding ring that you should be wearing only it everyday… look smart, look neat, wear clean undies, be creative, how can you come to bed all smelly and expect your partner to be romantic, no na!! See, we are tired of celebrating failed marriages everyday, we know all these things, why don’t we change for good?? Why drop all the good stuffs that attracted the right person to you and adapt a marriage killing personality and then worse of all transfer such mentality to us, the children. Wear nice things so your kids will see and learn, be loving to your spouse in front of your kids and they will learn. Marriage is sweet oh, only if you want it to be….. Yours sincerely, Your children, We know!! #Shreds!!!

Here are The 7 reasons why a girl would reject a guy's advances I've always had difficulty understanding how chyking a girl works until I attended one buisness class sometime last year and I discovered it's just like advertising. Guys are always in a struggle to get a lady, every guys wants that perfect girl with nice curves, slim flat tummy, well to be boobs, nice ass, curvy and most of all has sense. But the truth is that not everyone can have what they see... And just like buying and selling, you can only buy what you can afford and also what you can maintain... This tips Should help guys understand why girls say NO to them at all turn.. seat down, get a pop corn and enjoy this tale 1) know your budget Guy you can't just walk into a store with 1k and expecting to buy a commodity of 100k na.. mpa check am.. e make sense?? Yes, love isn't about the money but still, dey your lane.. don't go insulting a girl who wants a guy who drives Benz, has a house and gives her daily allowance... If she pass your power leave her alone.. if she's not worth it no one will buy.. I know a suit that has been sitting in boutique for over 10years now, it cost 75k but be looking like enugu Michael Jackson suit.. find a girl that thinks inline with your budget and is willing to grow with you, if not you'll definitely get a NO. 2) are you her type? Brother you are looking for a girl with figure 8, hour Glass figure, big ass and bobilicious but look at you, just take a good look at yourself.. you have pot belle, unkept beards, sagging neck and you smell like fuck up... Yes I know she is your type but are you her type?? You can't use Tecno phone to do kankara for iPhone na... Tush up!! If you really want her then you should build up, hit the gym, bath regularly, use nice perfumes, get a nice hair cut if not ehh... The NO you'll receive would be disastrous... 3) do you have sense? And share the same belief system How do want to buy iPhone inside supermarket?? Are you normal?? You saw written boldly on her bio "feminist' or "bad bitch Bella" and you came with your "I want a girl that would knee down and serve me dinner or I want a lady that will be home and take care of my kids or I want a lady who does not wear trousers?" Brother is your normal?? Looks t yourself.. just look at yourself.. are you not mad like this?? If you want a girl that'll knee down and greet you every morning please avoid feminist, go to the village and marry... Don't come here and be stressing someone's children. She does not want to serve you.. is it by force? So why are you insulting her and calling her a bitter woman?? She knows what works for her.. if it does not work for you leave her alone and find what you want.. don't be unfortunate or you'll get a big NO!! 4) what's your G.p? Guy, believe me this world is cruel and they don't give a fuck about you.. forget what you see in movies that a princess will marry a peasant and live happily ever after. You can't see a lady driving in her Benz, rushed up, with over 4 Masters and 3 phds and you stop her in the road with your 2 credit in hausa and woodwork and F9 in English and says "ello baby, can I be your superman?" Superman kill you there... Truth is bro, she won't listen to you not because you ain't a human being but your level of exposure and education is not the same with hers... Don't call her ashawo, please don't call her prostitute.. she worked hard for where she is now and don't need no body giving her headache... Is not bad to want her, but baba you either up your game or find your mate...if not.. you'll get a very big NO. 5) red flags If see those cautions that says don't buy if seal is broken abi?? Guys believe it or not girls have preferences but physical and emotional. Red flags are turn offs, they are no nos.. you take a girl out on a date and you guys kick it off real smooth, she tells you you are her ideal man and you guys are off on your first date and she sees you picking your nose and makes a run for her life... Nigga don't blame her, don't say she came to eat food and run.. no... She just Hayes guys who pick them nose in public!! Or you having your first love making and boom, you cum after 39secs?? Nigga and she runs for her life and you say she is way ward?? Baba will you buy a phone that the battery last for I my 1hour?? Give her a damn break!! Or she decides to manage you and you begin to snore like a he goat!! Yeah I know.. you can't help it but guy she does not like guys who snore... Leave her alone!! Don't come on social media and call her name's because you've got some red flags she can't handle.. I know of a nigga who this girl left because he does not smoke or drink... It's her choice, she needs a dude who smokes and drinks let her be.. don't call her name... Don't insult her.. just go for someone who lies you the way you are... Oh you about to get a big NO. 6) your past! Some say the past ain't important but bro, will you buy a cucumber for consumption, the same cucumber you saw nkechi using to do soapy?? I doubt... Some say the past ain't important but for some people they are... You guys were the perfect couple until you told her your body count is more than 100.. nigga you say 100?? Dude I'm gone.. don't be mad.. seh just don't wanna be 101.. or sadly you were abused as a child and she can't handle the consequences that comes with such trauma, don't be mad... Maybe she was abused too as a child and she don't want to be stuck with someone going through the hell she is going through... Chill and move on... Or you said you lost your mom at a young age and she AWOLs on you, don't be mad.. maybe she lost her mom too and she is desperately looking for a mother figure in her life again... See your past is your past... You can't hide from it.. don't force anyone to accept it... Don't insult her because she doesn't want to associate with you because of what you did... Nigga chill or you gon get a big NO. 7) just as God rested on the seventh day, the seventh point is law... Nigga have money and I assure you, you have the chance of getting any girl you want!! #shreds

Ever wondered the pains a man goes through while his wife is in Labor? Read THIS Labor :the agony of the man Mom's legs were spread apart A privilege I thought only I had Not the pleasure of penetration this time But the agony of childbirth How I prayed for it to be all over Your mother's scream still haunts me Your birthday I can never forget Still yet no one asked how I felt But I will tell you Nine months after our wedding night On the same bed your mum wailed Panic Creepled my whole existence Her water just broke Weeks before then I became a "slave" of love for mama I became a "slave" for you my child I did all mama asked even when I couldn't I didn't know who was scared the most I didn't know who to pray to what if I was asked to choose you or mum, a life for the other hell I would have given mine I held her trembling hands and whispered unsure words stuffs like it would be OK hun I had to be strong for you both I met fear that day as he made a mockery of the man I was my heart bleed with an outburst when mum screamed after the "push" command Only 5minutes into 7 long hours of labor I had already became a restless soul but I did sit quietly Drowning in my own emotions Lord how did I become this weak as tears gathered around my eyes solace I found nowhere Because mama's screams where everywhere I wanted to disappear Run into the streets, cover my ears put up a smile and play good music but this torture was all the music I got Suddenly I heard a second scream my child, your cry, my soul's music a tear drop from my eyes welcomed you and all I could whisper was" happy birthday " When I held you in my arms I became a man again you gave me all the strength I needed a torment worth while PS: physical pain is no equivalent to emotional pain. Men do cry... And the torment is real. So many people often look down on the trauma the men face while their wives are in Labor, I've seen men commit suicide after loosing his wife and child during labor. Men may not feel the physical pain and hurt that the woman is currently going through, but the emotional turmoil that he is going through can break the bravest and strongest of men. But then, men have been taught to hide how the feel and never show emotions, because showing of emotions is an equivalent of being weak. Allow men to feel and feel freely. #shreds

Could marrying a feminist as an African man be the solution to all man's problems? Read here One would wonder what marrying a feminist especially in Africa could feel and sound like, here is a story of what happened to Musa, my very good friend. So this senior friend of mine (Musa) who always had this "confused" notion about feminist (i don't blame him, some Nigerian feminist are just crazy especially those who claim to be Feminist only "online"), swore he would never marry one. He always claims that he does not have the strength to tussle about irrelevant stuffs. One day he fell in love with this beautiful girl, unfortunately, Feminist isn't written on anyone's face. He has a great IQ but one thing about smart people is that they always have a deficiency. He is bad with remembering dates and names. I, Musa and his new found love became close as their union bliss from grace to grace. So one day, she calls him up to come over to her place. So he comes over to meet a well cleaned house (in his voice), soft music, some candles and a sexy well dressed diva waiting on him. Immediately he knew he was forgetting something and it was written all over his face. She smiles at him and says "its our anniversary dummy" "Uhmm, am so sorry, it skipped my mind, work and..." "Shh... I understand" Well she refused to cook, she believed in cooking together, so after cooking and serving meal together, which he did to atone for his sins (crazy sexy right???), she brings out this gift box and gives it to him with a lovely speech and a i love you note by the side... He comes back home eager to open the box, i was with him in his apartment, he opens it and sees a PS5 box and he've always been singing about how he wanted to buy it. There was a note inside the box which reads "be prepared, bae is about to beat the hell out of boo is this game"... wow, instantly we both shed a tear for the moment!!! Then it dawned on us that he was in love with his greatest fear, a feminist and he so damn enjoyed it. He knew there was nothing he could get for her that she couldn't get for herself except well... the next week he proposed in his house after she flogged him 5-2 in a football game. Epic romance i called it... See it takes very little to mesmerize a guy, we are cheap. Guys don't mind spending on bae but the little thing you do, that's what counts to him. He may earn 110times more than you but guys can hardly take care of them selves. Check his tie, his shoes, worn out belts, torn socks, get him new ones. These are the things that matter. You must not wait for him to take you out on your birthday, take him out.... nawa oh, your are a feminist remember. I jokingly brought up the topic about "head of family today", she answered smiling " God has answered the question already, any christain feminist that has a problem with that should go and argue with God" "only in marriage oh" she added smiling. Damn! We both said Maybe marrying a feminist especially for an African could be answers to our prayers. #shreds
