little update from my area here in Andalusia (Casares/Estepona) we got one of the biggest forest fire here this night and it still continous to burn caused of strong winds from Gibraltar. There are 29 fireplanes and 10 Helicopters fighting against the fire and it still burns, this could be a very unsteady night for me because when the wind changes the direction and is coming from Marbella /Estepona the fire will climb uphill and that means that my side of the mountains will…

another update (to the fire in the mountains from Sierra Bermeja) the two major roads into the mountains beside the motorway are cut for the traffic now and more than 1000 people are evacuated actually!!! This looks like a hot night here in the area actually there is no warning for our side, we will see if this will last for the whole night...

Update to the forest fire(s) in the Sierra Bermeja (Benahavis, Estepona) it´s still burning because of the strong winds,tonight we lost the first fire fighter. Good morning on our Monday dear friends and noisers, but I had to question if a good morning is like that? It´s good while our side of the mountains still is not burning, but it´s not good while at present time there are more than 7400 Hectars forest burned completely down, and nearly 3000 people were evacuated from their homes to keep them safe. the fires are still burning and for today we expect some Thunderstorms so that will not be funny if it happens. UPDATE on the situation around the fire beside my doorsteps, there is actually no new great fire places ! This night at midnight the director of the INFOCA team was right before to evacuate the next village in this case Casares because the fires where not big but changing directions very fast and aggressive so there was no chance to control them. UPDATE to round up the impression from the wildfires in SIERRA BERMEJA and surroundings I will share with you today 2 clicks (from a comlete series) one fresh one and one old one so you get the picture before and after the fire. Picture-1 is the old one --> before (green) Picture-2 is the new one --> after (brown) One can easily imagine why they were close to evacuate the mountain village from Casares also when looking on the little white house in the middle of the picture…

I stated in a comment to @JBron this morning that I will share another picture from this crazy morning´s sunrise on the #goldenterrace. So here we go there is 2 more, the first from 08:44 AM and the second from 08:58 AM so we got all today dark clouds, a magnificant colorful sunrise, sun over the clouds burning little holes and send some rays and at least less color but a huge hole in the sky which lit up the mediterrean sea like with a huge spot absolutely amazing ;) #spain…
