Homemade Pizza!
I am a fan of pizza. Whatever flavor it is ( Just kidding I am allergic to seafood) so, seafood is an exception. I wanna share with you guys that I am also into cooking. I learned how to cook with the help of youtube. I do desserts, viands, dalgona coffee, and this homemade pizza.
The ingredients are pretty simple. I don't want to spend days on making dough so I used an alternative which is a loaf bread. I don't always use this cause there is ready-made pizza bread in the supermarket. I don't always go to the supermarket because of the fear of acquiring the virus so, every ingredient for this is available on the nearby convenience store.
| Ingredients
Loaf bread
Ham
Pineapple ( don't get mad at me haha my pizza my rule )
Quick melt Cheese
Italian Style Tomato Sauce ( You can use the regular tomato sauce )
Sorry for my cam, haha Also, I don't have an oven so I fried them on a frying pan in low fire. ( No, I did not flip them haha that's why it is important that your cheese is quick to melt so they melt on the top. )
I forgot to tell that I cooked the ham first before I add them to the loaf bread. So, it is already cooked and we will just make the bread more toasted on the bottom. There you go, my homemade pizza. It doesn't look delish like those commercialized pizza but I swear, the taste is just the same. haha
But then, you can always have your favorite pizza delivered to your doorsteps if you don't have much time like me lol. This is Hungarian cheesy pizza from our local pizza restaurant. I just found out that their chef is from Canada, too bad they only serve pizza for a short period of time then come back the next month.
How bout you? what's your favorite " comfort food ".
Thanks for ready this article. Keep safe!

Watercolor artworks!
I read one of the articles from @Hanzell about watercolors last time and I was inspired to share some of my works too.
First, just a few backgrounds about my work. I worked in a company where we create greeting cards for all occasions. It is a California based company funded by Mariam naficy and they also have this community of artists. The name of the company is minted. https://www.minted.com/ you can check this link for a better understanding of what I'm talking about.
Every artist in this community is a professional, but some chose to quit their day jobs to focus on designing cards.
Most of the designs here are created from scratch. We draw, paint, and do watercolors on an actual paper and then scan it for digital print.
| Christmas Leaves
For example, is this leaves, I made it using a watercolor brush. ( I just learned how to use it and I have no regrets so far ) I already tried the traditional watercolor brush but I fell in love with this brush because you can fill it with water. ( Instead of endless dipping lol )
| Digital
Now here is my scanned artwork. Looks kinda different on the actual right? but it will look really cool when printed. For this one, I just used my smartphone and then enhanced the photo on photoshop for better colors and lightings.
| Another set of Leaves
Yes, I am obsessed with leaves haha. I am in love with botanicals. I know this is not that great but I'm just messing around that time, practicing with my new sets of brushes.
and another set of leaves because I'm not yet done. haha For this one, I'm trying to create a Christmas laurel leaves but I'm not satisfied with the outcome so I just keep it. I always end up unsatisfied with my works but it's okay because that is part of the learning process.
| Geode
If you don't know what Geode is, here you go:
*****Geode - a rock containing a cavity lined with crystals or other mineral matter.*****
Aside from botanicals, I am also obsessed with geodes. I find them really interesting. Even the artificial ones. You can find some artists on youtube making artificial geodes using resins! Trust me, this is very interesting, and satisfying.
There you go! that is some of my watercolor works. I'll share my vector/digitalized works maybe one of these days, I'll just look for some files that I kept on my folders for a long time. Thank you and hope you enjoy this article!

Answered Prayer
I was so down for the whole week for this past months actually, one of the reasons is I really want my mom to have her eye operation as soon as possible because It brokes my heart whenever I see her having a hard time doing her regular routine due to her cataract.
The cost of the operation is not a problem actually but her vitals are not in good condition. We had to take several tests just to make sure that she's in good shape.
However, my mom is also a diabetic person, her kidney is not functioning right too. The ophthalmologist agrees to let my mom undergo an eye operation if we got clearance from a doctor.
It's a never-ending cycle for my mom. Her creatinine is getting worst.
No normal vitals = No eye operation. Until I searched on the internet if a person cannot undergo eye operation with a high creatinine level. Then it says no, that it will only be a problem if it's open surgery.
HOPE!
I asked my sister to accompany my mom to a different doctor so we can ask for a second opinion. I was so nervous that day, but I got high hopes that it will be good news. Then they went back home, my mom is so happy that they finally got clearance from a doctor. Her doctor said " It's just a 15minute operation, why are they asking you to undergo several laboratory tests? "
**I felt relieved**. I always pray to God to help us with this. Also, my mom's operation was sponsored 3 months ago. **I thought they're going to pull out the sponsorship but they're still waiting for my mom.** The cost of the operation is $300+ the lense that they're gonna use.
I can't wait to see my mom watching tv, or doing things that she loves. I promise to buy her a new phone or a mini sewing machine when her eyes are totally okay.
Challenges will always be present, that is something we humans cannot avoid. but the most important is you're not giving up, you're always trying your best no matter what happens.

Taal Volcano Donation Drive
Little did you know, our country has been experiencing A LOT since the start of the year 2020. A volcano on one of the provinces which are not active for a long period suddenly erupts. ( I attached the photo of this tiny volcano, looks peaceful from afar but it makes the whole town looks devastated ) The whole place near the crater was covered with ashes.
Looking at the pictures on the news, it breaks my heart. Some of them can't even manage to save everything. The ash falls ruined their houses plus the heavy rainfall that makes the ash thicker.
I and my workmates decided to start fundraising for them, I know that this is not enough but it will help them ease their hunger. I started collecting random amounts from my workmates and surprisingly, some of them gave me a huge amount that enables us to buy from ready to eat snacks and toiletries.
I'm not always participating in this kind of fundraising but I felt happy when we placed the items on the donation box. That time we are the first to collect donations for the fundraising and I am so glad that it somehow creates a ripple, and everyone wants to donate too because we did it first.
Our company distributed the foods in the exact place near the eruption. and seeing those smiles especially the kids makes me think that helping is not a waste of time. It brings you a joy that nothing can compare.

Guys, I have a question. Should I make it a habit of transferring my funds on my wallet everyday? I noticed that my $ keeps decreasing though I know it's just the current exchange rate of dollars today.
Thanks
People don't really care about the process
I remember this short story from a student who won 3rd place in an inter-school contest. I forgot what the competition is but she was very happy even if she didn't get the chance to be on the first spot.
When she came home, she immediately told the good news to her mom. After that, she went into her room and lay herself to bed for a couple of minutes. Half asleep, she heard a murmuring downstairs. It is her grandmother talking to her mom, the conversation is kinda loud but this line broke her heart the most
*" Only 3rd place??? weak "*
These words have brought her into tears. The said competition has a total of 40 participants based on her story and she made it through the 3rd spot.
Most of the time, people will only be there on your winning moments and sometimes, they are the same people who doesn't believe in you when you are still trying to figure out things. As a child who grew up being recognized with the things I did, it is very important for parents to value your child's winning moments. It will help them motivate more with the things that they love to do.
The people around you will always play a big role in how you see things in life and how you make major decisions.
Success doesn't mean you should always be on first spot. Success means you've tried and you are a thousand times better than those who's still doubting themselves. You'll never know what's gonna happen unless you try.

It's okay not to be okay
It's been a rough week for me. I have to deal with something I cannot see, my own emotion, myself. There are times that I wanted to communicate, but it always ends up isolating myself in this room, because I know no one will understand no matter how hard I try to explain what I'm going through.
Imagine you are inside a box, you can go outside but you choose not to. You are afraid that if you get out of your comfort zone, you'll end up hurting yourself more. You are inside this box and it's caving you forever.
***"you are not free, it's just that the chains are long."***
Sometimes, I felt like it is not a box. I felt like I'm in the center of a void, of total darkness. There are times that I don't want to engage in the outside world, **but it's okay.** I don't wanna hear the news, I don't wanna know what's happening now. **and it's okay.** I am so full of my thoughts, I can't stop thinking of them at night.
What's gonna happen in the future?
Am I providing enough for my family?
When will I gonna reach my goals in life?
But you know what is important? You are not stopping. We can always rest. ***You can't do it now? It's okay****.* ***but don't be stagnant.*** Don't forget about your goals in life.
I'm not feeling well these past few days and I felt bad that I can't explain how I feel.
There's a battle inside me but we still have to continue in life.
I hope that everyone who is reading this now and is experiencing depression may find peace in the things that they love to do. Don't let this control you. Goodnight.

Holidays during pandemic
I can't help but think of how this holiday will look like for 2020. Looking back to all to the previous months that we had, we can say that this year is not really something for the book.
For some, they feel the holiday vibe when the news channels start their 100-day countdown before Christmas, but regardless of the religion, I know that this is one of the most awaited time of the year. This year is very different from previous holidays.
Personally, I refrain from celebrating anything ever since my father died. 2 years ago, I don't feel celebrating my birthday, I don't feel celebrating holidays, new years, everything. The holiday season makes me more sad thinking that I can no longer celebrate this kind of special day as a complete family.
But I have to, I still have other members of the family and I don't want them to feel the same. Especially the kids, I made sure they have new clothes or the things they want during this season.
My mom always told me, " Let's cook this for Christmas ". " Let's have this for Christmas", " Let's do this on Christmas ". I told her, mom, why do we need to do all of these things only at Christmas? why not now?
In these uncertain times, I made sure that I let them experience the things that we usually do only during the holiday season.
I know things will never be the same for now but let's hope for the best.
I'm still hoping that this pandemic will end and that everything will get back to normal. I hope we'll make it through.

World of Cashless Transactions
I started doing cashless transactions a year ago when the era of virtual wallets suddenly becomes a trend. I know that this is not a new thing for everyone but I just wanted to share my thoughts towards this.
I got my first debit card year 2018 if I'm not mistaken. I'm using Paypal before but since I don't have their physical card ( and I don't plan of getting one too lol ) I need to create a new account with a physical card that I can use to withdraw my funds to any cash machine.
I can say that it is very convenient nowadays, I can use this in paying my utility bills, doing groceries versus lining up on the mall or any payment center just to pay your bills. I saved a lot of time using my debit card.
Also, after I got my first debit card, my bank has updated its card to something I can use to pay my bills too. which is very convenient too cause I don't have to go to the bank whenever I have to do some transactions. Not to mention their newly designed app.
Some of you might ask me, dude, you're so 2000 and late. Well, I'm still new to this because I just started working like a couple of years ago. I can say that now that I am capable of doing transactions in just the palm of my hands, I can save a lot of time which I can use to spend with myself and my family. Not really a big deal for anyone but for someone who grew up doing the regular transactions, this is a game-changer for me.
Note: Please be very vigilant in using cashless transactions. Make sure that you double-check everything before you proceed with your transactions. Never give your pin numbers. There's a lot of scammers nowadays pretending to be someone who offers some help.
My Top 4: Men Facial Wash product!
It is 2020, men are becoming more aware of skincare products. This might be one of the few influences of Korean culture since most of the ladies nowadays prefer guys who know how to take care of their skin.
I started using facial wash when I turned 18. I am not a fan of skincare products before but I noticed that my face is becoming more oily ( pimples are not actually my problem but the extra oil on my face ) because I tend to stay longer in front of my laptop.
Here are the top 4 products the I used throughout the year and I'm gonna share with you guys my experience for each brand.
**Pond's Men ( Energy Charge )**
This is the first facial wash product that I used, one of my clients gave me this as a Christmas gift ( maybe she noticed my oily face. lol ) I enjoyed using this product but in my opinion, it is just the same with master facial wash. The product makes my face tight and manages to lessen the oiliness throughout the day.
**Master Facial Scrub** - This my favorite facial scrub before. I made sure that I never failed to use this in the morning and before I go to bed. I used this product for a couple of years and if you have an oily face like me, this is probably the perfect facial wash for you. It can lessen the oiliness of your face for hours, You can also feel a very tight skin plus it has a whitening effect that gives added glow to your face.
**CELÉTEQUE Facial Wash** - A friend introduced me to this brand. The first thing that I loved about this product is the smell. I really love the aroma of this product whenever I use it. It also has small microbeads, you can feel it when you applied it gently to your face. It feels like the beads are scrubbing your skin gently and it helps you exfoliate some extra dead skin on your face too.
Why I refrain from using this? I think the effect of this product on my face is very minimal. I mean it doesn't have the power to lessen my oiliness compared to the brand that I used before. But if you are looking for a brand that is not a strong as the brands that I mentioned earlier, this is probably perfect for you.
**Nivea Men Facial Foam -** and last but not the least, my favorite brand so far. Nivea Men Facial foam. What I really love about this product is this is not as strong as master and ponds ( maybe because it is a foam and not a facial scrub ) It is very gentle to my skin and every time I use it, I can already see the effect to my face. Given that it also has the extra whitening effect ( though I'm not really a fan of whitening products ) it helps you give an added glow to your face. It also helps me get rid of my pimples ( They start to show when I started to use it lol ) but so far, I'm loving this product and might continue using this in the future.
We all have different types of skin and trying different brands is not really a waste of time. Eventually, you'll find the right skincare brand that suits your skin. How about you? Do you have any brands that you're currently using? Let us know.
We are under the same moon
These past few years, I'm working in a corporate set-up and my shift schedule was between 4 in the morning till 1 in the afternoon. I'm always in a hurry. My daily goal is to get into the first trip to make sure I have enough travel time.
However, things change when this pandemic happens. We need to work from home. One time, at around 4 in the morning, I decided to go outside. I'm curious of what it feels like when you just stare at the stars, I mean you're not running to get into the first bus, you're not rushing to eat or dress for work.
"*When I stare into the sky, It feels like the whole world stops for a while."*
The sky is so clear. The stars are shining on me. There are stars that are super bright and the rest are like a bunch of pixie dust scattered above the earth.
I can't help but to stare at the moon too, it is so calming, it gives peacefulness to my heart and I never felt like this before.
I spent a couple of minutes staring at the sky before I went back to my room to tell my friend about this amazing thing that I witnessed.
Then my friend told me it's moon bathing. You are absorbing the moon's energy and communing with nature.
*"These are one of the few things that I always failed to appreciate because I am too busy making a living"*
Now I urge you, head outside, and experience the magic of bathing in the moon's light!
Are we too late?
When I was young, I always dream of becoming a doctor someday. I don't know, that idea suddenly pops up in mind whenever they ask me about what I wanted to be in the future. However, things change when you get older. You'll start to realize a lot of things in life. You tend to create this vision where you see yourself 5 to 10 years from now.
When I finished grade school, I told myself I wanna be a journalist. Yes, those people who make news for everyone so people are always updated with the current news and events. Campus Journalism influences me a lot during that time. When I entered high school, I realized that I have so many talents and one of that is my passion for writing and my first love, drawing.
I don't really enjoy my high school life, even though I'm always in the spotlight for winning in the various contests and representing our alma mater for a couple of times. I am not satisfied with the things that are happening in my life during that time. I got confused about what do I really want to do in life. Should I continue drawing? Should I focus on writing, I don't know.
I took information technology in college but I did not continue after the first semester because I felt like I don't belong in this industry. Then, I took a Graphic Design course. That is the time I felt like I'm enjoying it this time. This is my job for 7years now.
But I also have this dream of becoming a producer. Someone who creates music. The problem is when you get older and you already have responsibilities in your family, It is hard for you to pursue that dream because of the things that you need to prioritize. I'll just make it a hobby, producing music on the side while doing my main job. I'm just wondering, what if I pursue that dream? Whenever I'm seeing an artist that is younger than me, living the dream that I always wanted to be, I can't help but think. What if I'm him? I know, comparing yourself to some other people is not a good thing but I'm just wondering why other people can easily attain the things we need to plan for years.
Now, I'm 25. A lot of people keep saying I still got so much time in my hand but I feel the opposite. When you start working for a living, you tend to set aside your dreams and focus on your main goal in life and that is to secure a better future for your family.

How do I deal with my depression during this challenging time?
I spent so many nights crying, hugging my pillow tight, convincing myself that everything will be all right but the responsibilities, played a huge role in my depression. I am pre-occupied with worries in life. The bills to pay, do we have enough food to eat, how can we survive? what's gonna happen tomorrow? all of this, in my head, every single night.
How do I deal with my depression during this challenging time? I listen to music,
I meditate a lot, I re-evaluate myself. I always tell myself that this is not the right time to quit. Whenever I felt like giving up, I think of all the things that I should be thankful for. Our home, my mom, my family, source of clean water, comfortable bed, internet connection and good health.
This pandemic has given me a lot of time and realizations. I start to value things that I'm taking for granted. I start to realize how short life is. I start to connect more with my family which I rarely do because I'm too busy with work. I am now able to try that recipes that I saw on youtube and I do the things that I really want.
The world will never be the same anymore but everything will be fine soon.
This is my first time using read.cash. :)
