My latest Megalodon teeth findings from this morning's dive into the warm waters of the Gulf of Mexico. These 2 are my biggest teeth of the day. The bigger tooth measure 2.59 inches. Found in 20 feet of water in a very shallow reef environment. Venice, Florida.
P.S. Respect the Megalodon!
Here's a better picture of the storm cloud that popped up early this morning with thunder and lightning, but didn't make it to the beach. I watched it grow from a small little clouds into a massive cloud. Venice, Florida.
Some early morning thunder storms offshore. And my best sharktooth find of the morning. A 1.75 inch Snaggletooth shark. Venice, Florida.
I picked up some more goodies from the sea floor this morning scuba diving. Sharks teeth, sand dollars and half of a venus sunray clam shell. Venice, Florida.
I have finally made it to the 1 BCH club! Yayy me.
I did pretty good diving for sharksteeth off the beach this morning in 18ft of water. Lots of lemons, bulls, snaggletooth and sand tiger teeth. And I found my first whale tooth. Venice, Florida.
Rise and shine noise peeps! Venice, Florida
I found my second fossil horsetooth (equus) diving off the beach this morning in the same area that I found one a few months ago. Venice, Florida.
I spent the morning going for a dive for my birthday off of the beach, the water was very warm, visibility was great, saw some bigger fish, and found a few fossil sharksteeth. This one is a small mako shark with the root broken off.
Dark skies, windy, rain, but still there are some die hard sharktooth hunters on the beach searching. Venice, Florida
I was messing around with my picture editor and made this. It's not to fancy, but it's still missing something.
Lots of Nurse sharks came to greet us, and swim with us a few weeks ago diving off Islamorada, Florida at one of the reef dive sites.
I took a few pics of this sunset a few weeks ago from the west coast of Florida. This part of the beach has alot of coral rocks, but if you go a little to the south it's all sand. The rocks are there to stop erosion of the beach, which it is doing a good job so far. Alot of Florida's beaches get renourished with sand by pumping it onto the beach from offshore.
I have a smart cat. I should've waited to post this until Saturday, but I had to share. She knows how to use the water cooler, so I had to turn the blue handle around backwards or she would drain the water out.
Just for thought. I dont hear to much as of late about the bored ape yacht club, or whatever it's called. But dont lose hope, it might bounce back.
I did a little cropping and zooming on this pic. The friendly green moray eel. Most of the time they're hiding in the coral cracks and crevices or under the coral ledges. I was lucky to get a picture of him out swimming around in the open.
Holy cow! How low is BTC, BCH, and ETH gonna go? I guess now would be a good time to buy at these current low levels.
I'm not sure what the cross was for I saw while diving the other day. But I made sure to get a pic of it. I also saw a small Budda statue to underwater.
Sharing some more underwater world pics from a few days ago diving in the Florida Keys.
A nice deserted beach I walked to the other day, and a nice place to put up a hammock and enjoy the day.
Here's a pic of a Cuban/migrant boat that washed up on shore the day before I arrived in the Florida Keys where I was staying.
Well I made it down to Islamorada, Florida for a few days of diving. Shallow reef dives with lots of fish, sharks, rays, and a couple eels. It's been raining like crazy in the afternoons.
I took this picture of the beach when I was out for my morning walk this morning. Venice, Florida
Went diving this morning from the boat and cleaned up on the small sharksteeth before the tropical storms arrival. Venice, Florida.
Went diving this morning from the beach I've been at all week. Didn't find any sharksteeth, but I did find this big ole fossil horsetooth. It's a rear molar.
I found my biggest, nicest fossil tiger sharktooth while diving off the beach today at Casperson Beach, Florida. It measures 1.28 inches.
I spent the day in the water and under the water. The water is a nice temperature right now in the low 80's. This was a shore dive, trying to find a reef off the beach that I didn't find. Maybe I didn't go far enough, but there was alot of boat traffic, so I didn't want to go to far. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again. Manasota Beach, Florida.
Ok, so I was wrong. Happens every now and then, but we did have a nice sunset this evening. Venice, Florida. Gulf of Mexico.
No pretty sunset this evening, looks like its gonna rain. Venice, Florida.
I had a friendly curious bird trying to talk me out of a snack this evening, but I didn't have anything for him.
