Hello friends of read.cash. These days near the end of the year make me nostalgic for my trip to China a few years ago. Besides, my son insists on reminding me. He always asks me when it's going to snow, he associates Christmas and Santa Claus with snow, that's what he sees in movies and cartoons. He is small and still does not understand that we live in a tropical country almost on the edge of the equator and until now he will never be able to see snow at least here in his native country.

It really is a very beautiful experience for those of us who live in tropical countries that are an eternal summer.

How I wish there is a Winter season too here in the Philippines. I want to travel to a country where I can experience snow like Japan. Someday, I will be experiencing it first hand.

Winter is welcome everywhere in tropical countries where we hardly have a winter season. When we were a kid, we used warm garments during Dec-Jan. But, now, even in Dec, we sweat and use fans. Our enjoyable winter was in Tokyo during 2000 - 2002. Sometimes, it snows in Tokyo. I miss our staying days in Japan. China is also a beautiful place. I had two short visits (2015 & 2017) but during the summer. I have many Chinese friends. The quote of Shakespeare on fire, snow, and love is excellent.
Here there is also a lot of sun in these months, by the way it is the high season of tourism in my country, many visit the beaches.
