“Cancel Culture” **What is the meaning of cancel culture? Is cancel culture something new, or is it just intriguing because of who gets "cancelled"? Have you ever been rejected, and if so, at what point in your life?** **Being canceled is nothing new to us, not only for celebrities who have gone through it, but also for ordinary people like us. I'm sure we've all been canceled in some situation, whether it was at school, work, or other events. Before I tell you about my canceled culture experience, let us all understand what this means.** "To argue that cancel culture is anything new is actually incorrect," says Konrad Rudnicki, an Antwerp University researcher. "It's basically **ostracism**," he continues, noting that the only new variable is social media and the Internet. "One of the most fundamental methods for defining the borders that define a group's identity is **ostracism.** Those who do not obey our group's guidelines are excluded. "Individuals' physical and psychological well-being are threatened by ostracism (being ignored and excluded) and other forms of interpersonal rejection (Williams and Nida, 2011). If one of the family members does not follow his parents' rules, he may be dismissed or face consequences from his parents, or if one of the classmates in a small group at school does not follow group norms, he will almost certainly be an outcast or hated. **How do I come across cancel culture, and how do I deal with it?** When I was in college, I had my first experience with this cancellation issue. My parents told me that they couldn't afford to send me to college due to financial constraints. There is one person who has given us hope by offering to assist my parents financially in getting me into college. I was overjoyed at the time and tried my best to make sure my good grades so that the person who assisted would not be disappointed with my performance.  Suddenly, we received such pretty unpleasant news after the first semester of my first year in college. My mother informed me that the person who had helped me get into college was no longer doing so, but the worst aspect is that we don't know why. Why is it so quick to cancel, what's wrong, did I make a mistake, or was she brainwashed to stop supporting me?  We haven't figured out the real explanation until now. I was so depressed at the time that I felt I wouldn't be able to finish my studies. ***Maybe I'd understand if she explained to us why she was canceling, perhaps confronting me if I did something wrong,*** but we didn't get a valid reason, and that hurts my feelings. My parents, on the other hand, were extremely responsible and did everything possible to help me finish my studies. They found a new job that paid well enough for me to continue my studies, and I did my best to support my parents by applying for scholarships and selling items. In addition, for a semester, I was also experiencing being a working student. My life at the time was not easy, but I promised myself that I would graduate on time so that I could repay my parents' sacrifices by financially supporting them; assisting my siblings in enrolling in school and completing their studies, and, most importantly, constructing a concrete comfortable home for them. And now I'm better. I've completed my education on time, and I'm able to support my family. ***I deal with the cancellation situation by remaining positive***. Maybe there's a purpose or maybe it's not my future, but I turn negative into positive. Other thoughts **Cancellation can take several forms. One of the current trends is to ruin your image through social media or any other platform**. Celebrities, influencers, and ordinary people are the ones who are most affected. Cancel culture teaches us that if you offend someone, you will never be forgiven and your life will be devastated. On the other hand, when you confront and inform that person of the legitimate reason for canceling someone, this cancel culture can be justified. ***How about you, have you ever been affected by cancel culture, and if so, how? I'd like to hear your thoughts.*** `Thank you to everyone who has upvoted and read my articles. I hope you find my writings interesting. Life Expectations Vs. Reality **Have you ever visualized your life when you were young, or even as recently as a teen, and how it would turn out? Do you have a time frame and goals in mind for when you're older? What is your ideal career?** I just recall those days as a teen girl, daydreaming, and planning my future. As I've recorded in my scrapbook, I've compiled a timetable of my career accomplishments. When I was in elementary school, I just wanted to be a teacher since my mentors had inspired me to teach children and mold them into better human beings. but my perspective began to shift during my third year of high school. I'm just fascinated by the word tourism since I've seen it in television commercials. I often wonder what tourism is and what it's all about, and day after day after seeing the commercials, I realize what tourism is and I'm keen to learn more about it. As I discovered when conducting my research, tourism is similar to a life cycle; there are several sectors, one of which is the travel sector, which is one of my favorites because I enjoy going around the world. So, after graduation from high school, I'm going to take a tourism degree and plan to work as a flight attendant. I'm manifesting for it. Fiction *I will be trained to be a flight attendant after graduating from college, and following the training, I will be an outstanding flight attendant. After a year of working, I will be a regular employee with decent wages, and I will begin to build our new home in our hometown, investing a good amount of money for benefits and securing healthcare for myself and my family. I send my siblings to prestigious institutions to pursue their dream degrees, and my life will become better.* That is my ideal scenario, but it will not be achieved in reality; and the answer to the question of what will happen is that I have no idea.  **Pursuing dreams** My parents informed me after I graduated from high school that I would not be able to attend college because they did not have enough money to send me there. I was crying so hard at the time that I asked them to find someone who could help me achieve my college goals; perhaps I will be a working student, which is fine with me. My mother, on the other hand, did everything she could to get me into school, and since I had a brother who works, they decided to help each other so I could go into college. Thankfully, it will actually happen in reality. At the prestigious university in Visayas Region, I earned a bachelor's degree in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management. I'm thrilled to be able to pursue my desired degree. I obtained a scholarship to aid my family financially, and I studied extremely hard to graduate on time. After 4 years of hardship, my endeavors were rewarded, and I received my diploma.  **Reality** I assumed that after graduation, I would be on my way to success. I was searching for a flight attendant job on the internet and was very disappointed to learn about the qualifications. One of their requirements is height, which I unfortunately lack. I'm only 5'1", yet their requirements state that they must be at least 5'3". I've changed my mind and will pursue another job path that is equally relevant to my degree, such as being a cruise ship crew member or working in a five-star hotel throughout the world. However, I believed it would be simple; I thought I would be able to get work quickly because I know and am convinced that I am highly competent due to my courage and strength. I have faith in myself and am confident that I will succeed. But reality hits me in the face; I've been having trouble finding my way, and it's been especially difficult to discover even one. I opted to fly to Manila a month after graduation in search of a brighter future. I expected it to be simple to find because Manila is a large city and I knew there would be plenty of job openings. but I didn't anticipate that there would be more applicants than openings, and that some of my competitors would have a lot of experience while I am a recent graduate. I expected those with experience to be given preference, and I was placed second. Application I believe that out of a hundred percent of applications, 85 percent were rejected; 14 percent failed to respond, and 1 percent were chosen. It's really disappointing to know that I was rejected the majority of the time and was compared to other applicants. Some agencies have always advised people to call back, but no one was able to. 1st Job After a month of job hunting, one of my cousins recommended that I work for the firm where she worked, but we are two separate businesses with the same owner. I was delighted at the moment, and after an interview and exams, I passed everything and started working as a hotel administrator. The Challenge After 6 months of work, my branch manager requested that I file all of my documents for regularization while also increasing my salary. I was ecstatic and overjoyed at the time. However, that is simply a fantasy because the pandemic has begun. My savings were being spent, and I urgently needed to go home to Leyte because I didn't have enough money to meet my needs. After 3 months of suffering from pandemic and lockdown, I've finally arrived home. Unfortunately, I don't have anything to carry for *pasalubong* because I don't have any money. I was so depressed, and every night I cried myself to sleep, blaming myself for not making better life choices. I was turning 22 at the time, yet nothing positive happened to me, back to zero . However, I wiped away my tears and decided to stand up again; after my 21-day quarantine. I began searching for a new work; I prayed fervently and looked for every chance. I used to sell stuff like apparel, tumblers, face masks, face shields, and other items online. Finally, I found a job as a quality analyst, then year 2021 as a loan officer, and now as a freelancer. Lessons in Reality ***We cannot force our success in life; we can choose our path, but we cannot anticipate what will happen in the future.*** We may have fantasies during our adolescent years, but that's fine; we have the opportunity to dream big. ***It's alright to not be okay sometimes***, to fail and make a bad decision once in a while. It's quite normal to feel empty and unwanted; all we have to do is accept the pain, cry a lot, and embrace the reality that we are down at the time. Then get back up, try again, and keep looking for a better opportunity. ***God has a beautiful plan for us***; perhaps he has a better choice for us than our desires; therefore let us not give up so easily. In comparison to last year, I'm doing better today because I've accepted reality and am going with the flow. Now I'm concentrating on helping my family. ***Thank you!*** I have a lot of things to write, but the other piece may be published at a later date. I hope you will find reading about some of my life experiences interesting. I hope you are doing well right now and that you always take care of yourself. What about you, have you had similar experiences to mine? Share your challenges and accomplishments, and let's chat about it. I really just want to hear. If you have any questions or concerns, please leave them in the comments section below; I would love to hear from you. I appreciate it. `I'd want to express my gratitude to individuals who have upvoted my previous writings. Always may God bless you.` LIKE & SUBSCIBE mwaaah!

When does the world come to an end? Could anyone, including experts, foretell the exact date and hour of our death so that we can prepare for it? Is it true that I will perish if the world ends, or that only believers will survive? Many individuals predicted the end of the world in 2012. Many people were terrified and worried about their lives. Some people are fervently praying for their safety so that they are not among those who perish when the world ends. Others, on the other hand, continue to commit sins because they know that if the world ends, they will not enter the kingdom of heaven and will instead wind up in hell. Speculations Climate collapse, asteroid strikes, and zombie apocalypse are all possible scenarios for Armageddon or end of the world. But the subject of when the world will end is just as intriguing as the question of what will cause it to end. Some scientists believe that using a simple probability theorem, we may make confident predictions regarding the latter, with some estimations predicting human extinction in as little as 12 years. Is it feasible to foresee this? According to Konstantin Bikos blog. On October 21, 2011, the world was also meant to end. Harold Camping, an American radio broadcaster, claimed to have arrived at the date of the apocalypse by a series of calculations based on Jewish feast days and the lunar calendar. In addition to his statements concerning the end of the world, he projected that God's elect people would be taken into heaven on May 21, 2011, at precisely 6:00 p.m., in an event he named the Rapture. Those who were not raptured, he continued, would have to stay on Earth for another five months to await their fate. According to claims in the media, several of Camping's supporters resigned their jobs, sold their houses, and put enormous sums of money towards spreading his prophecies. When the Rapture failed to occur, Camping revised his predictions, claiming that it would occur at the same time as the end of the world. "Nobody could predict exactly when the moment of the apocalypse would occur," the self-proclaimed prophet said after October 21, 2011. Bible explanations However. The Bible clearly explains how the earth came to be and how it will end one day. The cosmos has a date when it will cease to exist. “The heavens will pass away with a great noise, and the elements will melt with fervent heat; both the earth and the works that are in it will be burned up” (2 Peter 3:10). So, when will the world come to an end? Only God knows what will happen next. Not only that, but He alone oversees the future. The end will occur at a time set by God. Jesus Christ will return to the planet on that day to put an end to evil and establish justice and harmony. Scientists, religious officials, and so-called experts who forecast the end of the world are not to be trusted, according to Jesus. "No one, not even the angels in heaven or the Son himself, knows the day or hour when these things will happen," he stated. Only the father knows” (Matthew 24:36). However, the Bible does lay out specific things that will happen before Jesus returns and we see many of those today.  The Agnostics One of my atheist friends contradicted of what scientists and bible says, though, informed me of the impending end of the world. He stated that the death of people will be considered when he comes to an end of life. We cannot anticipate when we will take our final breath, yet death is inevitable. That’ s the end of the world. *Are you ready for the end of the world? I'm just curious about your thoughts, so please leave a remark if you have any. I appreciate it.* Like & Subscribe

The Breadwinner Hello everyone! How are you today? I hope you are doing well. This is my second day on this site. I'm really excited to read so many of your posts and feel so encouraged to write. I just wanted to thank everyone who has welcomed me here and subscribed to my channel. To be honest, I'm unsure where to begin. But I'd like to write an engaging piece, and I'm thinking about starting with my own personal experiences. Because it would take too long to explain the entire story of my life, I won't. hehe Okay let's begin...… I was staring at a photo of my family last night. My duties and my goals came to mind. Think about the future and how I can overcome life's obstacles. So one thing I can do is assist my siblings in getting to school and building a comfortable concrete home for them. Yes, I'm under a lot of stress right now, trying to figure out how to make it happen. Is it feasible for me to accomplish this? How? When? What if I'm unable to complete the task? That is a list of some of the questions I have always considered. I have trouble sleeping because I'm afraid about the future and constantly overthink it. As a breadwinner, this is my most difficult task. Are you a breadwinner? Family is extremely important in the Philippines. We have this *malasakit* qualities and aid each other. If you come from a low-income family and are the eldest or earner, it is your job to assist your family in providing for their needs, particularly in financial matters. It is up to you if you wish to assist. You still have the option of helping or not. My family is my everything. My family is far from ideal, yet we are devoted to one another. Our loving parents mold us into better people by providing all we require, particularly in school, as well as providing us with support and guidance. Giving the gift of education, which no one else can give. I'm incredibly proud of them and grateful for their presence in my life. However, there is always a problem lurking behind our smile and tiny success. The most crucial of these is our financial needs. Struggles that I can't forget Yes, I grew up in a poor home. I'm the only daughter and second child in a family of five. My father worked as a coconut wine vendor, while my mother was a stay-at-home mother. My father's earnings are insufficient to meet all of our demands. We had a lot of debt to pay off, and I recall one time that we couldn't afford even salt to buy, and that we just owed detergents to our neighbors businesses. During my elementary years, I also started selling bell peppers and onions; also at school, sell candy. While my parents were at work, I was also a spontaneous Yaya to my brothers. I'm really involved in school and take part in all of the events. One of my teachers had previously offered me to participate in an activity dance folklore competition, but we couldn't afford the outfit, so I declined. However, she wants me to participate in the competition, possibly because she sees potential in me. She enlisted the help of her coworkers and became my sponsor. I was overjoyed at the moment because, thanks to my supportive teachers, I was allowed to join the program. I don't always have money or *baon* to buy snacks at school, and even if I do, they're only a peso. However, I'm still happy since some of my friends offered me food or my teachers bought me snacks. In high school, I faced the same financial difficulties, but I am grateful for my eldest brother's assistance because he financially helps me. In the same situation, I sold chocolates, biscuits, junk foods, popcorn, and other goods in school. Every morning, I get up early since we have to walk 40 minutes to get to school. There are no vehicles because our route to school is a difficult mountain road . We predicted that on wet days, many students, including myself, would slide due to the slippery road. But we never grumble because we see it as an adventure and an opportunity. After four years of high school, I've had a lot of battles. I'm optimistic that I'll be able to graduate with distinctions. I believed I'd never be able to attend college due to financial constraints, but my parents went above and beyond. My family migrated to another place in search of a better opportunity because we were unable to sustain ourselves. My mother found work as a housemaid, and my father's position as a coconut vendor remained unchanged. At last, I'm able to enroll in college because to my oldest brother's assistance and help of my parents I sell groceries inside the dormitory and have a scholarship to assist them financially. Working while a student has also been a challenge for me, but I'm determined to persevere. After four years of sacrifice, I was successful in winning the battle and graduating from college. Despite all of these obstacles, however. My parents will never hear me complain. We can't afford everything, but I've never imagined myself having such expensive material things, and I know how hardworking my parents are. ***Yes, we are poor in material possessions, but we are extremely wealthy in their love, and support.*** What's next? As I previously stated, I am the second child in the family, and my elder brother is about to become a father, which I am delighted about. Now it's my turn to be the family's breadwinner. Providing financial assistance and support to my parents, as well as sending my siblings to school and pursuing my life goals. I choose to support my family because I care for them; they are the reason I'm still fighting for my life. It's not easy to become a breadwinner, especially when your family and others are counting on you and expecting a lot. It's so heavy and overwhelming; what if I fail? What happens if I don't meet or exceed their expectations? What am I supposed to do now? **A lesson that I've learned:** Be humble all the time Accept that you require assistance, especially if you are in a circumstance where you have nothing. Focus your goal in life Know your responsibility Be *madiskarte* Reminders Keep fighting, all of you breadwinners! I understand that taking responsibility for our family's well-being, particularly in terms of finances, is difficult. However, we have chosen to assist them because we care about them. Please remember that your health is your shield and power. We continue to dream and express our gratitude and prayers to God. Let us offer him everything. He'll lead us in the right direction. *Oh, and I almost forgot to say that I graduated from college in the year 2019, and I've already landed my first, second, and third jobs, and how this covid19 shattered all of my plans is the next chapter of this article. Do you want to know more*😊 *My apologies for my grammatical errors.* Thank you for reading my short story. Keep safe and God bless 😇 LIKE & SUBSCRIBE

My Humble Beginning in read.cash Bakit nga ba ako napunta sa platapormang ito? Hello everyone! Kumusta naman kayo dyan. Sana ay nasa mabuti kayong kalagayan ngayon. Paano ko ba to sisimulan? Well, I just want to share to you guys kung paano at anong purpose kung bakit ako nandito. So ayun, my friend introduced me to this platform kahapon at inexplain nya kung ano ang meron dito at sa noisecash. But I'll challenge myself now to write more articles na Ingles yung ginagamit. I'll do my best naman po. I'll consider it as an opportunity to share my humble thoughts, mga karanasan sa buhay at magbigay impormasyon. Pangarap ko kasi maging isang motivational speaker or magaling at mabuting mentor. Pasasalamat I'm so blessed kasi mahal na mahal ako nang Panginoon. And to my friend na nag recommend sa akin dito. Thank you for bringing me here dang. Labyu mwahh mwahhh. At sobrang excited din ako to read your articles. God bless us all and Keep safe! 😇 ~@DianaGal
