A house divided against itself Like the saying goes,A HOUSE DIVIDED AGAINST ITSELF CANNOT STAND,unity is very important in all aspects,one broom cannot sweep the floor only a bunch of broom can sweep the floor. To achieve goals faster you will have to be united with your partner as a married couple,if the two of you are not in the same pace then you cannot achieve that thing fast,if at work you need to achieve anything as colleagues and all of your team mate are not in good terms,it will be very difficult to achieve that set goals unless you work in unity. The Bible says in Genesis 11vs 1-8 1 **At this time,the people who lived on earth spoke one language**  **2**  **People moved to the East. They reached a large flat piece of land called Shinar. They stayed and lived there.**  **3**  **They said to each other, ‘Let us build a city with a tower. We will first make bricks and heat them until they are hard. They used brick instead of stone. They used tar to hold the bricks together.**  **4**  **They said, ‘Let us build a city with a tower. The tower will go up into the heavens. Then people will remember us. If we build a tower then we will not have to go and live in different places.’**  **5**  **But the Lord came down. He came down to see the city and the tower that the men were building.**  **6**  **The Lord said, ‘Because they all speak the same language, they can build this tower. What will they do after this?**  **7**  **Let us go down. Let us make them speak in different languages. Then they will not understand each other.’**  **8**  **So God separated the people, and they went to live in different lands. They stopped building the city.** This Bible passage talked alot about unity, they wanted to build a tower that will reach God and since they were all united with one language it was easy for them to build that with one voice,when God realized that they will actually achieve their aim with one voice and since they have one mind too he decided to scatter them and scatter their language,in verse 5-6 ,it says he came down to see what the people are building and said if they continue building they will build to reach heaven because they are all united,they are not fighting against each other,God himself know that there is power in unity,you cannot bring down a house that is united,a house united either prayer,word, achievement or any other thing will always stand. There was a time we wanted to build a poultry,my mum wanted to but my dad was not in support,even my elder brother but the rest of us were in support,my dad didn't say it directly but with words you will know he didn't support it,so we couldn't do it then because we were not all united but now we could do it because they've all seen the reason why we should have a poultry and it was possible for us because now we are united,no disagreement between us concerning that,we all wanted to do it now and see it boom,that is the essence of agreement. If there is no unity then nothing can stand,let us live in unity so as to achieve that desired goal,let the husband unite with the wife,let the children unite with their parents,the parents with the children,the colleagues at work, siblings... before you can achieve that thing you have to unite, there is power in unity. The journey In life you will determine your own path to destiny,you will walk that journey alone,each man for his own head,life is fair sometimes and difficult sometimes but the way you handle it matters alot. Fine you need people to walk with , people that will show you the way but not people that will go with you, they can only help you out a little and after that,they go their own separate way,you can get weary on the way,you might not want to go further, please make sure you keep moving,it's okay to get tired,it's okay to take a rest but it's not okay to stop there intentionally and never stands up again. You need to keep moving,when we play a dice it's either win or lose,when it's on the losing side,you rethrow until it gives what you want. There will always be;slow and steady, fast and and unsteady; the SLOW and STEADY will always go like a snail but they will surely get to where they are going,they don't rush,they are consistent and focused,no matter the time the they might use to get to where they are going they will never relent,they know what they want and they are ready to get it or get there no matter the obstacles on their way. This life's journey open our eyes to different things,we must not be like someone who doesn't have a vision of where they are going,they are just going,we must have a vision of that bright future and we must not rest until we achieve it irregardless of our obstacles or situation,you just have to keep going, don't loose hope, understand there is time and season for everything, everything has its own schedule time,and so it must be accomplished at that scheduled time,so keep moving at your own pace, don't look at others running because if you do you might not be able to finish with that same strength you started with. My cupcake experience Hello everyone,it's good to be here again,am a baker and I do all sorts of cookings too,so last week my course mate called me and told me she will be doing cupcake for her lover,and I should tell her the price,so I told her not knowing some of the ingredients I want to buy in the market has increased in price,I was alittle bit sad because I don't want to tell her another price again,so I decided to buy everything and I will be sharing with us the recipes and how to make one for yourselves. Enjoy 😍 Ingredients 2cups of flour 1 butter Half cup of sugar 4 eggs I tablespoon of baking powder 1 teaspoon of squadron (I prefer using this for my preservative) 1teaspoon of vanilla flavor I pinch of salt (half of teaspoon) 1 sachet of milk flavour Cake softener (optional) Icing sugar for the icing White butter Direction Mix the butter and the sugar very well until it turns milky and the sugar dissolved Then add the beated egg to the mix butter and sugar Then add squadron, vanilla flavour or any flavour of your choice and cake softener Then seperately mix the flour with the pinch of salt, baking powder and milk flavour together Then add the mixed flour little by little to the mixed butter and mixed very well Then use your small spoon to put it inside your cupcake pan and put them into your already preheated oven and wait till it's done(put match stick inside to see if it has crumbs or sticky,if it is sticky then it is not yet done). For the icing mix the icing sugar with white butter to your satisfaction and add little water to soften it then put it in icing bag and decorate your cake. Then put them inside your cake box. How could I have such a terrible fate,no wonder I have been working and nothing to show for it,I could remember when I was in school I struggled throughout school just to graduate, after graduating I searched and searched for job but all to no avail,I tried doing things by myself but each time I start it always ends in tears, because it always go down the drain. I work hard and am not lazy but it looks as if am not working hard at all,each time I go and find out about the dream,they always tell me its just my fate and it's only God that can change it,I decided to go to God,I started praying to change my destiny from a poor one to a rich one,it took me months none stop,I prayed and prayed and prayed until my prayers were answered,that was when I believed there is nothing God cannot change,I dreamt another time and I saw myself in a palace, eating with honorable men, spending big money after then I woke up and that was the beginning of my turnaround, everything changed dramatically for me and I started commanding wealth,life became easy and everything went smoothly. The Chief's ordeal There lived a man in the town of ilupeju,his name is chief abayomi,cheif abayomi married 3 wives and gave birth to 7children,he has alot of possessions so he concubines too outside that gave birth for him,he has many houses and different lands, his first wife name is tunrayo and she gave birth to 3 children,one male and two females,his second wife name is bisola and she gave birth to two girls while the third wife name is dupe and she gave birth to 1 female and 1 male child. They are always fighting,never at peace in that house, always from one problem to another Chief abayomi loves bisola more in that house and loves her children too,he is a fair man, always meeting the need of all his wives but they are never satisfied, always jealous of each other,one day Chief abayomi developed an illness and he went to see his doctor,only his doctor knew about his sickness,he told his doctor never to tell anyone and keep it within them. For years he kept battling with the illness and kept it within him. Every year it was his first wife that always celebrate his birthday for him,she knows how to organize everything and make it look good but when he was about to clock 70 years,he called all his wives and children and even the children of the concubines and assembled all of them in the house,all the children including those that already got married,they came with their spouses and the house was complete ,before then the doctor already told him he has just 4weeks to live and there's nothing they can do about it,so he assembled everyone and told them to celebrate his birthday together,he doesn't want just his first wife to organize it this time around, he wants everyone to gather together and organize it for him,he begged them that even if that will be the last thing he will beg them to do for him that they must do it but because all the wives and children are never at peace,they did not yield to what their husband said,they did the birthday separately,they got their gifts separately and the man was so sad,he said to himself "is this the home I want to leave behind?, how will they cope when he is gone,won't they scatter everything he built for years"? That was all his thoughts . So he decided a means and told his lawyer what to do,he pretended to die ,the next morning the first wife daughter went to his room to greet him when screamed out that their father is dead,they all rushed to see what happened,they cried and cried,when the lawyer came after two days,the lawyer explained to them that the children must all go to chief's village for two weeks and after they can come back if not anyone who refuses to go must be sent out of the house,so all the children decided to go,when they got to the village they were doing things separately the first two days,there was a feast going on in the village so they have to join because if they don't they will be known as outcast ,so to prove that they are from that village they joined in the feast,and one person cannot do it alone,they decided to team up as a family so as to emerge the winner, after two weeks,they were so used to each other and they couldn't fight anymore and also the wives at home too... They emerge the winner and decided to go home after that,when they got home, everyone were assembled again to the sitting room so that the lawyer can tell them what to do,so they can bury their father because there was a warning before they left that no one should go back and look at the corpse or bury it before they go to the village,so after everyone was assembled,their father showed up and everywhere scattered thinking they've all seen a ghost,he narrated everything to them and told them this was why he devised that means so as to bring everyone together in unity before he finally dies. Everyone was amazed, everyone promised chief that they will all be in unity and nothing will break them apart. That was how everyone of them continued in unity even after Chief's death.

The Truth you refuse to tell Many a times things happen around us,in our vicinity, family and with our friends,we just overlook it and say it doesn't concern is, believe me it does concern us,we have roles to play,over the time have learnt that that truth we have refused to tell is the reason why everything has become worse ,in other words because we see and do not want to talk about it is the reason why the nation has turn upside down. Okay I have different examples, my roommate is very lively person,all she wants to do is party party and party,she doesn't read,I mean she doesn't read maybe because she doesn't understand the reason why she is in school or Maybe because she thinks school is a playing ground,so I decided to leave her on her own, sometimes she might not go to class,even for the past months now,she doesn't attend church service,so I don't want to talk about it,I just let it slide like I don't care,there was a time she didn't sleep at home for two days,her mum must not hear about it, so I just shrugged my shoulders and say it's not my business and am not the one paying her school fees but I know it's not right but I don't know how to talk to her about all that..... **Image.unsplash** https://unsplash.com/photos/i9RvPMtQixg So I decided to meet with my papa at fellowship and explain things to him,he asked me if I had talk to her about it,I said no,he asked me why? I said I don't know how to talk to her about it and actually it's her life and she can live it the way she wants,so he told me that's where I got it all wrong because I have everything to do In her affairs,I should be concerned about her like my sister and I should bring her notice to that,so I decided to do what he said. My papa opened my eyes to it,that I don't need to leave her all by herself,she might not know what she was doing was wrong but when I open her eyes to it,she will definitely understand if it's right or wrong. That brought me to today's article the truth you refuse to tell,the truth you know and refuse to tell that person will cause that person alot ,why should you know about that neighbor's problem and you refuse to give solution,I have come to a conclusion that it's selfishness,not wanting to share that knowledge to that person,even if she or he won't listen to you,share the knowledge first,let them know it,open their eyes to it. Alot don't know what they are doing is wrong, some even know but they realize nobody is talking about it so they decided to continue in that wrong act,tell that truth, chastise your children if what they did was wrong,talk to your sister about that attitude, talk to your parents, your neighbors, roomies and all ....dont say it is none of your business,if you say it is none of your business today, tomorrow it affect you and affect someone around you. Help them change,the society is counting on you,help that person change so they can be better,some are there to help you in the future but what if there are going the wrong way now and then later in the future their lives didn't make any meaning,how will they be of help to you when you needed them then if their lives doesn't make any meaning? How to make this Valentine memorable Val's day is a day love is shown to loved ones but alot already mistook that purpose for Val to be something else,fallen out of the reason for this season,it's not just about who you are in a relationship with,it's also about people around you,your friends colleagues, family and so on. Showing love to family Family is the best thing ever, believe me, your family are the best people to share this season with,they are always there for you in thick and thin times and you can admit with me that they are really worth it, which area do you even want to think about,is when you were born,when you started growing,when you started eating,the love showed by mum and dad, the ones from your siblings,the fights and all,the crazy moments together,the story telling times,lol ... You can show love by buying gifts for them, making a dinner or asking them out for lunch or dinner,or showing up in an amusement park or lot more,they are really worth it. Enjoy this season with your family. 2. Showing love to orphans Believe me this would have been the best, showing love to kids that don't know about love,they haven't experienced genuine motherly or fatherly love,they are always with their peers doing what they don't want to do, showing them the society cares is one of the best way to make this val a memorable one, buying gifts for them like food, clothes,shoes or teddy bears can lift up their moods, making them understand that there is still love in the society and they must grow up loving themselves,that's how we can make our society better. 3.creating a lively event at work You know work place is a very interesting place, bringing in food, Sharing gifts among each other at work, cooking food at their different abode and bringing it together to share it is fun right? Yes it's fun,show love to your colleagues, everyone needs to be loved,so show love, some of them might be experiencing tough times at home but they won't say it but when you show them love and care they will feel better and safe,that little kindness can go a long way. Why churchy ladies remain single (part 2) Hello everyone it's another beautiful day,I already wrote about why churchy ladies are still single part one,so am going to continue with part 2 today.i will continue from number four. So stay tuned LACKING DRESS SENSE- Many atimes oversprituality can lead to loosing guard on dressing,it is very good to engage in spiritual things but when it is now taking away your feminism,it is not good. No man wants to marry an old woman,you know right some dress like grandmas,even pastors wants to marry someone attractive, haven't you seen their wives? They always look ravishing. Some ladies always look old, wearing big clothes all around in the name of been a good girl, always tieing scarfs,their hair looking unkept,their looks ,clothes and all,they won't even smell nice, some have been decieved with "A GOOD CHARACTER IS ALL THEY NEED TO HAVE" Yes character is good "but how will I know if you have a good character when am not even drawn to you by your appearance"? When I see a container in the market before even checking the content the outside (design) will tell me if I will to get it or not. Many good girls don't have dress sense,if only they know that men are drawn by what they see ,even the spiritual men. So dressing well has nothing to do with spirituality at all as long as it's not exposing you, smelling nice can attract that man, WORK ON YOURSELF. BEEN DISRESPECTFUL- A whole lot of ladies disrespect their man,naturally men wants to be respected, so if you want that man,show him some respect,now let's get this right, kneeling in some Africa culture is not respect,you can kneel down for your husband and still abuse him,so respect has to do with your choice of words,the way you treat him at home,in the office,among his friends, colleagues or family. The way a lady talks and respect matters alot to men. No man wants to be disrespected. HAVING POOR SOCIAL LIFE- Sister what happened? Why are you always in door? Will you be punished if you go out and meet people? No . They don't relate with people well enough,they do not go out,They do not socialize,you won't meet that guy in your room,of course not!! , You really need to go out so that good guys can see you,good guys are not only in church but events too,start attending some of it. TOO MUCH OF HIGH STANDARD- I said too much of it,not high standard itself,they have the list of specific things they want in a man, "he must be tall, handsome, rich, loving, faithful, honest, loyal, God fearing, responsible and so on. Setting standards are good but overly doing it is bad, we should know that no man is perfect, he can't exhibit all of what you want but at least 80% of what you want , they might not even show it from the start, that is why you need to be very patient so you won't that perfect man for you, remember guys too wants a good woman and not just some woman who hasn't worked on herself, pick the very important things you want in your man and work on the rest. Why churchy ladies remain single (part 1) Have seen good ladies out there getting frustrated because they don't have who to Marry yet,upon all their good girl's stuff they still remain in the same spot since last or upper year while bad girls are getting married Saturdays after Saturdays. Alot of them are morally justifiable,they have set standards for themselves they have achieved those standard with Time,they are disciplined set of girls, they are referred to as the churchy ladies,their movements can easily be predicted, from home to school to church to the market or a friend's house,they don't like attending occasions I see alot of them been encouraged by preachers or writers that their Mr Right is on its way but they have waited enough and not seeing anything close to that,they started waiting since they were 25years and now they are 30,31,32,33 and yet no Mr Right,they are scared because they don't want to be too old before the man comes, they thought to themselves "what could be wrong,what am I not doing right"? They kept on praying and believing in God but refuse to understand these few points am about to share with you ,why they haven't seen their own Mr Right. FEELING OF ENTITLEMENT- They feel because they are a good girl ,they are automatically entitled to a good husband without working towards it. MUTE EFE Says that "THAT YOU ARE A GOOD GIRL OR A GOOD GUY DOES NOT ABSOLVE YOU FROM THE CONSEQUENCES OF NOT KNOWING HOW RELATIONSHIPS WORKS" For everything in life there are principles guilding it. LACK OF SELF IMPROVEMENT- most of them are redundant in their self growth, when there is a discussion about politics, fashion, lifestyle, current news they don't have any idea about them,they are dull and never better than before,they are always at the spot they were years back,never improving but when it's all about prayer they always have something to say,no man wants to a woman who doesn't know anything about life,prayer is good but there are things you are expected to do for yourselves that prayers won't do for you. Try to improve your intellect and knowledge about all facets of life. BEING OVER FAMILIAR WITH SOMEONE- Many good girls keep friend zoning their male friends, saying he's just a friend and I can't marry him,who else do you want to marry if not your friend, your enemy?? They know fully well that that guy loves/likes them but they keep on turning a blind eye to it and praying to God to send them their Mr Right but God keeps directing them to that brother but they want to friend Zone him. The gift Hello everyone it's been a wonderful time here. Mum I am scared,and very anxious about the day. Darling don't be scared,it natural for you to be anxious because it's your wedding day coming up,all we need is to pray about it and let God take control of that day. Okay mum, thanks for your sweet words and advice. You are welcome darling 😘 The D-Day came and everyone was preparing for the wedding,cars were coming and going,foods were been prepared, decorations were made, everything was put in order. Engagement was done and the church service,so moving to the reception now, everyone was sitted already,food been served and the MC called the couple inside. John and Gracie danced Inside with their bride's maid, groom's men,little bride,Bible bearer,they all danced Inside the hall gloriously,Gracie and John was so happy because the day finally came to reality, The MC called them to dance and after dancing alone, their family took turn to dance with them and then they went to sit,when it was time to give the couple gift,the MC made the announcement that whoever wants to give the couple gift should come outside and present it to them,so alot of people came outside and presented their own gift one after the other and the reception came to an end. Back to the present Gracie and John have been having infertility problem since after their wedding, Gracie couldn't get pregnant,they visited different hospital but the doctors always tell them that they are fine medically,this gives Gracie more reason to be disturb,if she's fine then what could be the reason she hasn't taken in yet,they kept on believing that one day everything will be fine and they will have their own baby. After three years of no child they started getting worried and scared,this is the worst of my fears, Gracie said. One day Gracie and John were invited for a program,they decided to attend if through that God might answer their prayer,so after the program they decided to wait behind and see the man of God,the pastor prayed for them and told them they collected a gift from someone on their wedding day and as long as that gift is still in there home,they won't be able to give birth to any child,they were confused because they collected alot of gift that day,so which one could it be? Then the pastor buttress the point by saying it is a cloth from someone,a gift of cloth,they have to get the cloth and burn it. Immediately Gracie and John remembered that it was the cloth they received then and sowed after their wedding,they told the man they are already wearing the cloth,the man of God told them to bring the cloth and burn it. They went home took the cloth to the church,the cloth was prayed against and burned,after that they went home. Two months later Gracie became pregnant and they were very happy for the breakthrough..... That was how the storm in their family ended.

The door opened as Chris walked in with Tina on her wheel chair. Smiles beamed on my face. “Tina!” I called excitedly “Sister Iris” She said as I quickly hugged her tightly. The battle front became tough and threatening.sisera and his nine hundred chariots of iron, and all the people with him did not realised that the hand of the Lord was against them. The Lord disorganized Sisera and all of his chariots and there were bloodshed everywhere for them, a man with nine hundred chariots of iron fled on for his dear life,but the mistake was fleeing into a woman's tent,from frying pan to fire,not knowing it was that woman that will kill him. A prophecy as been told that the isrealites will obtain victory through a man,so because of that,sisera went into Jael's tent and from there met his death because Jael drew a nail through his ear to the ground and that was how a woman brought victory to the isrealites. The question now is "ARE YOU A BLESSED WOMAN OR OTHERWISE"?

The leader attitude Many a times people will nag and nag about our leaders saying they don't listen to the voice of the masses but the simple question I need to ask is this, "what about you?" Are you listening to the voice of your siblings? Do you care about the situation of your coursemate as the class governor that you are? Have seen alot of things and that prompt me to write this article. When we first resumed,we decided to choose a governor for our class that will represent us everywhere and everytime,we voted and he became the class rep and we also chose the assistant too. When he became the class governor he started misbehaving,he doesn't care about us,he just wants to give an order and wants everyone to follow immediately and if you don't follow there will be penalty,he became arrogant that everyone thought of removing him if he doesn't change,he doesn't care how others feel,but there was a day he came to me because we are so close and he asked me if what he was doing was okay or right,I told him the plain truth that it's bad,if you at this small level is acting this way,what will you do if you are holding a higher position,you won't make everyone walk easily on the street now,he promised to change since then, and truly speaking he changed for the better,he is now calm and he respects everyone decisions. Another one happened today, okay the guys in my department wants to play ball against the guys in other department,so today is the deal day ...we ended class by 1pm and they are expected to be at the field by 1pm,those guys had to complain that they can't be at the field by 1pm,they needed to o freshen up and eat too, but there leader was adamant and said they must be at the field that same time,it is very bad to think you are in a place of authority and you don't care about the feelings of other people. We shout everyday that our leaders are these or that but what are we ourselves doing? We are not different from those leaders because of selfish interest,if people in these little position are acting this way as if they've gotten everything, what will they do when they get to higher positions,they will definitely do worse because the love of their neighbors are not in them,the love of their subordinate are not in them,all they care about is themselves,that's it. If we let love lead then everything will be better for us. I hope we all start the change from ourselves and make things better,I hope we start to put the interest of our people at heart and let love lead.

My experience in two days Hello everyone 👋,it's been a long time here,so sorry I haven't been here for two days now,my phone was locked in ucrc of my school,I went to charge my phone at the place on Wednesday because my battery was down, then I asked the man when he will be closing his office,he said 4pm,I went there around 3pm just to collect my phone before they close the office,to my greatest surprise they already closed the office when I got there and I was baffled because I don't know why they will go knowing fully well that someone is charging there,I tried calling the man with someone else's phone but he didn't pick up the call, when it was yesterday I went there again,the office was locked,I just couldn't cry,I was so sad without my phone, throughout yesterday the door was locked and when I called the man he said he was in a meeting ,I went there several times,when the man picked up in the evening he said he gave my phone to the HOD(head of department) before leaving his office and when the HOD wanted to go,she gave it to a corper and the corper then locked the door when she was about Leaving..... The man came back yesterday evening to check for the phone but he couldn't find,then he kept calling the corper but she wasn't picking up her calls,alot of thought went through my head,I was so helpless. Some of my friends felt pity while some where laughing,it wasn't funny actually. Then this morning came I went to the office it was locked again,I felt like crying but I decided to go for my morning class after the class,I rushed to the place and saw the place opened and then went to meet the man,he apologized and gave me my phone,I am happy right now that once again I am able to access readcash. Don't be so relaxed Once upon a time in akala village there was two friends trying to make an ends meet for themselves,they have gone to different places trying everything, just not to be poor but they were poor. So one day they decided to visit a herbalist to tell them what the future holds for them,if it's good or bad,when they got there,they told the man what they came for ,the herbalist made an enquiry about their future and ask them if they are truly willing to hear and they said yes, so the herbalist asked for their names,one is named kola and the other named tunde, the herbalist told kola that he will become rich , that he will be the king in the nearest future and everybody will be bowing down for him but he told tunde that he will be so poor, like very poor. Tunde was very sad thinking why would he be poor in the future,he said in his mind that no matter what he will still work very hard, while kola on the other hand decided to sit and enjoy,kola said why should I work hard again when I will be the next king,I don't need to work,all I need is resting and enjoying myself while my friend works,I can't start to stress myself,I need to start practicing like a king before I become the king. Kola became so lazy that he was not willing to work at all, tunde tried talking to him to work hard before the kingship come but he will always decline. Tunde on the other hand started working hard more than before,he became consistent and hard working that he acquired alot over the years,he didn't rely on what the herbalist told him but rather made sure he won't stop until he makes it, after about five years tunde already own alot of things while kola was still waiting for kingship and still wallowing in poverty,tunde was rich that the villagers noticed him,his friend kola was wondering how come his friend became rich when baba told them he will be poor ,when the villagers noticed that about him they called the attention of the chiefs and decided to make tunde their king because he is rich and they don't have a king yet when their previous king died. Kola was so sad,they didn't make him the king because he was poor,who wants a poor king,he looked back at the years he has wasted waiting to be the king but he couldn't catch up with it anymore. He regretted not working hard,he returned to the farm and started cultivating,he was poor because he didn't work hard , while his friend that was supposed to be poor became rich because he worked so hard for it. There is a saying that whatever is yours will always be yours, that is absolutely a negative saying, believe me if you don't work for that thing,it will surely pass you by,it won't come to you,if there is anything you want, fight for it! Go after it! My friend once told me that if you want to become a pharmacist and you went to study architecture,how will you become a pharmacist? No way,you will only end up becoming an architect because that is what you fought for and went after. Don't be so relax and say if it's for me it will come to me, friends if you don't work for it,it won't come to you, work on that dream,be passionate about it and you will see it realizing. Our parents always say they want their children to be far greater than them, that is because they know the importance of growth,no matter how rich or successful they are,they still want us to be far greater than them,even so our father in heaven,he wants us to move forward because he is a progressive God,he doesn't want us to be stagnant,it doesn't matter the height we have attained,he still wants us to go further,he wants everyone to increase in all facets of life- spiritually, physically, financially, academically, maritally or relationship wise and even in our careers,he doesn't want you to be satisfied with that current position you are- even in your marriage/relationship when you think everything is going on well and you don't need to put in extra effort again,No,he wants you to put in extra effort in that relationship,Or maybe you have gotten to the peak of your career and you think that is enough for you,No,he wants you to start from that peak, stretch forward, believe that that peak is your starting point,don't be content with the present situation. We may have gotten to a certain peak or might have achieved a certain level of success but know that there are still mountains to climb, walls to pull down,bridges to cross,new levels to attain,he never wants us to quit growing. Yes we understand that God has done alot for us, there are things to be thankful for,he has favoured us ,got us promoted,gave us alot of things we could never imagine in years to come but HOLD ON; sometimes we need to be careful because we get easily satisfied when everything is going on well and we think we can't complain because we have achieved our goals. I married my boss My first day at work after so many years I have been looking for job, finally got one and I was so happy to be at work,i had to wake up early at around 5am so I can meet up with the time am suppose to be resuming to work every morning,I feel so energetic to resume and do alot at work,when I got to work everyone was facing their duty,no lazing around,I haven't met the boss because when I came for the interview the boss was not around but i have heard rumors that he is a young handsome guy so I was so eager to meet him. After about a month I finally met our boss,I was so excited to meet him but he seem proud,he is actually handsome but for the first time seeing him he snubbed me,well.... not what you are thinking,am actually not this type of a lady that gets really impressive about any guy,for the past four years I haven't been in a relationship because my last relationship didn't go well,after about two years in that relationship the guy becomes agressive,he won't pick up my call when am calling, always telling he was busy and how is he gonna feed me if he doesn't work, making me feel like am useless and I wouldn't be able to take care of myself without him, sincerely I have been taking care of myself,my mum is quite rich so I wasn't asking too much from him but he just like to bring up work work work anytime I talk about him been too busy so I had to opt out of the relationship. So because of that I don't really have time for relationship,my mom has been trying to persuade me to have someone in my life but I just don't want to, probably because I haven't found someone that belongs to me, sincerely I liked my boss when I saw him but he doesn't seem to like me,my thought though.... I started working and trying my best everytime, anytime I come to the office he would call me to do one thing or another,as each day goes by I fell in love with my boss,I didn't know what to do but I kept on bottling it up,I don't think I wanted him to know,one day he asked me to go out with him for lunch,I was so surprised... another time he became cold,I didn't know what to do but I told him "i love you" ,he was dazed, anytime I come to the office he wouldn't want to see me again,he started acting strange so I told him I can't live with that,I tendered my resignation letter, he was so surprised,he asked me why,I told him I had to leave,he begged me that if I wasn't going to stay that I should just wait for another one month,I told him am traveling out of the country,he said why? I just need to start my life afresh,so after two weeks I left work. Did I mention that I had a blossom friend at work,we share almost everything together,she was aware of when I will be traveling out,so three days to when I will be traveling she went to tell my boss that am traveling on that date,"if you really want her and you don't want her to go, you can meet her before she leaves because I know you love her and if you don't I hope you don't regret it for the rest of your life" . On the day am suppose to travel I already packed my bag going outside with my mum and my friend when I suddenly saw him drove in,I was surprised to see him,he came straight to me and told me he loves me and he was sorry, he wasn't sure he wanted that because of his past experiences and that was why he has been shutting me out of his life because he wasn't sure if I was real,he said please "marry me" I was so happy and excited... He brought out another ticket to travel to the same place I was going,how did he know? My friend told him,he hugged and kissed me and we both travelled together and now I am married to him. The three types of people you need in your life In life we meet different kinds of people,they come and go,when you go to school you meet people,in church you meet new people too,even when you are traveling you still meet people but the problem is this,it's either they are real or fake,is either they are important or not, supportive or envious.....in either ways we need to watch very well and choose who stays or go. However there are people you will need in your life time and they need to be in your life,it's either they take you higher or you take them higher. 1. The grateful. These set of people are not envious of your progress , they are always thankful they met you,they will never have the courage to think otherwise. They will never go behind you to talk bad of you, people who are grateful knows grateful attitude takes alot of effort. Saying thank you to my friend will make him happier or saying thank you to my mum will make happier and it will strengthen our bond. There are some experiences that increases your connection with others- like regarding that other people have assisted or supported you. When you do something for them they take it in good light,they don't see it as there birthright,they see it as opportunity not entitlement,they realize you don't owe them anything but rather grateful because you have done much for them. When you see a humble person,he says life is a gift to be thankful for not 2. The inspired. These kinds of people are always inspired by what you do,they have the ability to do or create something,most of them encourages others. If anyone has ever influence you to change your life in a meaningful way that made you wholesome, happier or fulfilled you would have known that been inspired positively can be powerful. People will feel inspired, people feel inspired naturally when you show them you care about them,when someone care about you,you will remember and not give up when you are about to give up. Stop exposing yourself to danger This topic has been on my mind and it's a very serious one,when my dad was still alive he will tell us not to go to his family house, like till now we never knew his family house,there was a day I was suppose to know the place he didn't park his car close to the environment,he parked it far from that environment and I couldn't figure out the place because he told us not to follow him,in his opinion my dad would say going to the family house with your immediate family will only expose us to danger and letting them know that you have achieved somethings will cut your life short. Okay my dad told us the story of his dad,that was our grandfather,he said they were born in ibadan,and they grew up there,he said while growing up they were rich,his father had a lot of things,even his friends were rich, grandfather like to show everything to his family,he is not a secretive person when it comes to his family,after building his house to lintel he wanted to fix his roofings,as big as ibadan is,he didn't call anyone for his roofings,then he went to his home town to call someone as soon as the person got to ibadan and saw the big house he was amazed that was said how did my grandfather become so rich,then he went home to tell the people back home about what he saw and that was how everything went down,two weeks after that the government came to give my grandfather a notice that they will bulldoze the house because that place is a road,it's so funny that the government never told him before that that place is meant to be a road but all of a sudden they said that and after a week they came to bulldoze the house, my grandfather was back to square one, like literally everything went down,he had to come back to his home town,if he had known he wouldn't have come back to his home town,he would have started all over again in ibadan,when he got home again he laid the foundation for another house but he called them again and they came to see the house he wants to build,he couldn't finish the house easily,he finished just one house in 20years. Like everything went wrong for him,he couldn't afford things he would afford before,so my dad told us alot and we were surprised to know all those things. Then we vowed never to involve family members in our dealings because it will only bring problem. Exposing yourself to people or making people know you have achieved somethings will only make you expose your life to danger,or your family life to danger, alot of people who you think loves you actually detest you,you can't be so sure someone is all out for you,try to keep yourself or your achievement to yourself,it is better to hide this things than let people know and cut short that glorious destiny. Humans will always be humans,the Bible says the heart of men is desperately wicked,who can know it? Definitely no one can know it, it's only God that know our heart and desires,it's only God that knows who wants the best for you,you can't know with just the words of their mouth. Keep those things to yourself .

Light at the end of the tunnel Olamide is a well grown lady,when she lost her dad at age 8,her mom decided to move to the village with her because she is the only child,she continued her education at the village,when it was time for her to gain admission Into the university she lost count of how many times she wrote jamb and couldn't gain admission. She would always cry and cry,and compare herself with her mate. One day she was weeping inside the room when her mum came inside,she was even lost in thought,olamide my daughter why are you crying,what is the matter?? Mummy see what is happening to me,why won't I cry,all my mates have gained admission into the university but here I am still looking for admission,this is my 4th year,am so tired of all these,am really tired (still weeping). Darling you don't need to cry, crying won't solve all this problem, getting worried won't solve it either,it will only add to the problem on ground,my daughter please stop crying,you know after I lost your dad,you are the only one I have,you don't have any sibling, please stop crying God will do it at his own time,he will surely answer our prayers. When mother,when will he answer us,when will he hear my cries,when will he wipe away my tears? When? Having long time hope will only make the heart weary and am getting weary already........ Please my child don't loose hope,focus on God ,I know we will surely testify,we will definitely cross this bridge,the shackles will be broken. After that day they kept on praying to God that God will answer them,the fifth year came she couldn't gain admission,she decided not to cry again and just learn handwork,she decided not waste any time again,she thought to herself that if schooling doesn't work, handwork will. So finally she went to learn hairdressing,her boss loved her because she is responsible and respectful.she doesn't take anything that doesn't belong to her,she doesn't talk much,all she wants was to focus on her work and make sure she's good in it. Not quite long she started making hair for people at her boss shop, and still working on her school hoping she will gain admission one day and she's never going to give up. On one faithful morning as she was about to get down from a taxi,she decided to pay the transport fare of a man in the taxi,before getting down the man gave her his card that she should call him because he has seen something about her,when she got home she narrated the story to her mum and her mother decided to call the pastor,the pastor gave them the direction to his church, they went there and the pastor told them that olamide has been kept in bondage for a long time and they will go on 10days fasting and prayer ,he told the mother that she will be the one to pray for her child for 10days and it will be vigil,so they did what the pastor said and the siege was broken. Olamide gained admission that same year and also collected her hairdresser certificate to start her own work. That was how everything became normal for her and she blessed God for everything. Never give up no matter what,there is light at the end of the tunnel,God will surely do it.

Be who you are meant to be I could remember back then during childhood days,we all want to become a doctor,nurse,lawyer or engineer, infact that is what our parent wants for us,they don't want any other occupation for us. My dad has always wanted me and sister to be a doctor and my two brothers to be a naval officer or an army. Parents have fault sometimes in this, because of what they feel is the best ,they want their kids to become what they want for them and not what the kids want and so because of that,some already left the way to their to fulfil their dreams and focus on someone else dream, so because they don't have passion for that they end up losing focus and end up not doing well. Because of what the society has classified as the best job or professions,alot has left what they were suppose to be,what they have passion for, what they find joy in doing and has gone after what they really don't want. Some parent don't know that there are jobs or professions that are more lucrative and highly paying than engineer,doctors or nurses. My mum is a nurse so because of that I have always wanted to be a doctor and not a nurse,I always say and my mom too will say been a doctor makes you the boss so I should strive to be a doctor. But plan changed as I left secondary school,I wrote my waec,then jamb hoping to gain admission in the medical department but I was wrong,I was hoping for medical admission for four years until I decided to break loose from that time waster.....it wasn't easy I tell you,I would read and read and read but medicine or nursing wasn't coming forth,so I changed my plan. The sixth year I changed to another course entirely and I gained admission,i had always love cooking so anything that has to do with food I love it. I gained admission and I was so happy, Sincerely only God knows what we will become in future,we really don't know. I have a lot of friends back then who had said the same thing, whenever they were asked back then they would say medical doctor 😂but today alot of them has even graduated and they are not even using the certificate to eat,all they do is fashion designer, hairdresser,caterers and so on....if that is your way it will surely happen but if it's not it won't happen,did I mention that my brother is now a naval officer,my dad made sure he went to the school and with the help of God he graduated. I want us to believe in God, only him can make our wishes come true,he knows what is best for us,trust him through the process,if someone had told me I would stay at home for a long time before gaining admission then,I would have argued and rejected it but here I am. My roommate and i Chai!!! What is the meaning of this,how did I come across this type of roomie,when everyone is getting good roomie how did I get this was my thought,she is very dirty..... okay this is it gowen just gained admission and she was looking for accommodation,she wasn't having all the money to get the apartment so decided to find a roomie.... Gowen is an average lady that her mom really taught well ,so she doesn't take nonsense,she's brilliant and good looking,when she resumed school she decided to live in the apartment with this girl,the name of her roommate is Christy. Well her roomie is good too but dirty,they are complete opposite, gowen is neat, gentle, always indoor but Christy is the opposite, she's dirty,not gentle and always the going out type and always love to talk. They cook together most times and because of that gowen always cook while "Christy does not like cooking, she's very lazy,why would a grown up lady always stay away from cooking,I can't be cooking everyday,it's not possible,we are not slaves for each other,we are from different family and we are just here to read and stay together for some time,I am not her slave" gowen thought. Hi Christy please sweep the floor and clean the home,I cannot be cleaning and still be cooking everyday, please before I get back arrange everywhere because you love scattering things and not arranging them. Who does she think she is, always thinking she's better than anyone, I cannot clean anywhere,I will see what she will do about it,I can't even do anything right now...... *When gowen got back she was furious that her roomie has not cleaned everywhere,she left the room like that without arranging or sweeping the room but she didn't say anything,she just took the broom and sweep the floor and arranged everything,gowen doesn't like fighting,she's a calm lady . So she called her mum and explained everything to her. Mum am so tired of this,I will be the one to cook , the one to clean, sweep,wash plates while walks about looking for who is not looking for her,I want to leave,am tired please.... Assuming the way I usually arrange the room she won't scatter it,it would have been better but she will still scatter everything without thinking that it was someone who arranged them. And you know very well that there is no way I won't clean the room because I hate dirty things,I can't be looking at dirty plates and I won't wash them ,it's not possible,dirty things irritates me.* I know darling,but please just calm down,you will leave in your next session, just bear everything,as a child of God you should be able to persevere, endurance is very important, just be patient with her,you will soon leave there, that was her mother word to her. Okay mum I have heard you,no problem but I can't take all that next semester,I can't at all,she will be doing all the things herself,we will start cooking separately, washing plate separately so there won't be a lot of problem. Bye mum. Gowen already planned that next semester they will do things separately,so when the next session comes she would move out,another thing is that gowen is the quite type,she is an introvert,she always stays indoor ,she doesn't like going out but Christy is an extrovert, always wanting to go out and always like to disturb gowen,but gowen is not cut in for that,it makes them completely opposite. When the semester ended she was so happy. Next time it's either I have a roomie like me or I don't have at all was gowen's conclusion.

Gender based violence Hello lovelies 😍... hope we all had a great day today,well for me my day was okay,it went well. Before I begin my article for today My shout-out goes to everyone who has been on my side till now, thank You so much. We have resumed already in school,so I decided to go for lectures today,we had lecture as early as 6am, everyone was just complaining about the lecturer,why would he fix lecture for 6am in this cold weather, some said maybe he doesn't have a wife😂 or maybe he doesn't have a sweet home 😉,well in my own opinion I said maybe he doesn't have a sweet home,Lol. The lecturer that said we should come for lecture by 6am came to class around 7am,it was so annoying,let me just say after that bio112,the other lecturer that was suppose to come and take us another subject didn't come,it was like that yesterday too,the bio112 lecturer that was suppose to take us didn't come at all to class,I was so angry yesterday because he made me leave so early to class and after all we didn't do anything. Gender based violence Gender based violence is not only about the violence committed against ladies but categorizing things women are supposed to do and not men or things men are supposed to do not women,gender based violence is violence against gender either male or female in which the community has classified the work a lady should do or not do and the work a man should do and not do or things either of them should do or not do based on their gender. For example in the olden days only women make hair for people,men don't but now in our generation alot of men make hair for ladies but in those days it has been classified as a woman's job,if back then in the days of our forefathers one of their sons just decided to start making hair for women,they will refer to him as a bastard because they believe it should not be done by men,those are the gender violence we are talking about.... They are been violated and limited because of their gender, it is called abuse because there is alot of things this people can do but they wouldn't because the community will laugh at them if each gender's work is exchanged. I have a friend in school right now,she told me she would love to be a barber in school and would love to learn how to Barb,then I ask her so what is stopping you,then she told me it was her parent that didn't allow her to do it,she told that her mum was like "why would you prefer barbing out of all the handwork we have,why would you choose a man's work?" You see that's where the problem is, because it's a man's job her mum decided not to let her do it,and sincerely speaking I told her she would have really made it big if she had learnt it because we only have one saloon in our school. Another thing she said was that;I mean the women on the stage; The society are fond of stigmatizing when a lady is been raped they will say it's because she wore a revealing cloth,they are too judgmental,what if she did not wear a skimpy dress? You really Don't know how or why it happened..it shouldn't be so,the society is suppose to give everyone a chance , listen to the victims first,side with them , don't be too quick to judge. Let us give each other a chance to prove themselves and not limit them or violate them due to gender.

Overcoming external influences in your relationship or marriage External influence simply are forces trying to control your relationship or marriage. They may be people or your personal attitude which you don't know is causing you issues in your relationship or marriage. It is very important you know them in order to work on them. Most times relationship or marriage break not because of the devil, but because of some foreign influences. Marriage is for two committed individuals willing to make it work. One of the external influence is lack of Godliness. It means God is lacking in that relationship or marriage. How can you be dating someone who does not respect God, stop trying to invite the devil as your father-in-law, yet trusting God for solution. Ko le work. Don't York with an unbelievers because of anything. It is a red flag🏳‍🟧‍⬛‍🟧 You discuss your relationship or marriage issues with friends, you think they love your union? It is lack self control. Learn to control your lips They begin to give you conflicting advice, thereby breaking your union. Learn to control your emotion. You see, when lack of self control comes in , relationship or marriage becomes an object of mockery. Learn to settle your issues by yourselves. Discuss it, tell your partner that we are going to settle our issues no matter what. Stop calling your parents, uncles, sisters, brothers at any slightest misunderstanding. Your relationship is your life, stop making it like a community project. External influence is listening to an outsider without consulting your partner. You hear this about your partner, you don't even ask questions, you just change mood. Ha , it is a sign that something external is trying to pull down your union. You must learn to trust your partner, even if you hear something negative about them, try and ask questions from them in love. Don't shout at them. Trust in relationship is the bedrock of a successful Union on earth. You said you are a Godly sister, but Godliness is not an invitation to mediocrity. Dress fine. Smell fine, stop smelling like rotten fish. Put on perfume Wear fitted and responsible cloth, those girls outside who are dressing fine is entering your bobo eyes o 😃😃 They are external influence oo. You better gear up. Dear Brothers, Wear good cloth, why is your sokoto entertaining goat head, those fine guys are entering your babe eyes o 😃😃 You better gear up too. Furthermore, lack of communication is an external influence trying to pull down your relationship or marriage. You are always forming busy for your partner. Don't you know that communication is the rock of any successful Union. You are opening door for a third party to do your job and in the process destroy your union. Your attitude in your relationship or marriage determines if you are your own enemy or friend. Therefore, work on yourself. Take to corrections. Be open to change. Be submissive. Be loving. Be humble. Be committed. Go for personal development. Go for trainings. Read books on relationship or marriage. Learn to improve yourself. Trust in God and be prayerful to destroy all spiritual attacks or forces trying to pull down your relationship or marriage. Your union is to be enjoyed not endured. Learn to trust God and work towards making your relationship or marriage a successful one. If your relationship or marriage is faced with some challenges, but you both have tried in solving it, but it not working out, look for a trusted mentor or people who are role model to both of you for help. My bestie and i I saw what could have happened to my friend if she had gone on that trip. That sunny afternoon she had rushed from her working place to our house of one bedroom apartment with kitchen and toilet inside,our room is not spacious,alittle bit small with small bed and and a table with wardrobe. My friend told me those people that went on the trip had an accident on the way,bola had told me they were going on a trip a night before and that same night I had dreamt they had an accident, bola know that whenever I dream about something it always come to pass but sometimes she ignores my dreams,but that day she listened to me and decided not to go on that trip, surprisingly for her she heard the bad news from her colleagues at work,Bola is my friend way back from secondary school,we got admission in the same University and we stayed in the same apartment,we are in our middle twenties,when we were in school she would wake up early and rush to the lecture room while she keeps seat for me the late comer😆,there was something that happened one-day while I was still at home one of our lecturer came to the class and declared an impromptu test early in the morning,bola called me but before I could get there the test already ended, since then I vouch never to go late to the lecture again. Anytime bola wakes up I wake up also,from that time on we attended lecture early. My friend is a cool,calm and collected lady, she is working now but I am into business not working under anybody. We are quite comfortable a little bit,I can't wake up early and rush to work at that time she normally wakes up, Lagos is full of Hassle and bussle,I normally pity her sometimes. Bola POV When I got to work that day I told my boss I wasn't going on that trip again,I had to lie to save myself from been sacked,I told my boss that friend is sick and I want to take her to the hospital,then my boss gave me the day off,I ran home happily and rested for that day. My friend had told me she dreamt about us having an accident,I was frightened ,that made me believe her dream,I don't want to die Young so I had to find another means not to go on that trip, well sometimes I don't yield to her dreams,I call her Joseph the dreamer,when I got to work the next day I was told those that went on that trip had an accident,some got injured and some died,Gloria is my best friend,she loves adventure,she loves life,she loves to enjoy life to the fullest,she is not the work work work type like me,she has her own business,she believes she is her own boss and she can't work under anybody and believe me she is really her own boss. I always pray our friendship strengthens and we make it to the next level. Well everyone has weaknesses, Gloria's weakness is laziness,oh oh sometimes we fight because of that,she doesn't love washing, washing plate or washing clothes, anytime I get back from work and I see that, we just going to fight,I guess she's never gonna change on that one,but I love her still. Gloria pov She kept on complaining why I don't like washing plate,I don't like washing,that is my own weakness and we fight because of that, but I love cooking,that is my job, cooking is my hobby,it is what I love doing,Nola doesn't like cooking,you see why she doesn't need to complain because most times I cook all the food,that is her own weakness too,she doesn't like cooking,all she does is work work work, running helter skelter in the name of work in the early morning cold and the scorching sun in the afternoon..... If you are ready to stop procrastinating or giving excuses why you can't climb the ladder of success then read on; I will give you ways to increase your cash flow. 1.you can't save your way to wealth; For some people saving their money is the only way to financial freedom,the only way to live life the way they want later. They hope that after they pay their bills from their salary,there would be enough leftover to keep in the bank but the real deal is that after paying their bills there won't be any money left to keep,and even when money is saved in the account it earns interest making it valueless, saving only provides an illusion of wealth. Saving some amount of money has to do with the mindset of the poor or better still a poor mindset because the rich invest their money ,they don't keep it to waste away but invest it to bring in more money/wealth. 2.make sure you pay yourself first from that profit; Getting to the top requires discipline,to increase your cash flow you need to pay yourself first,to pay yourself first means when earning any money you leave out some amount to buy yourself some assets that will bring in income for you before even using the money to buy anything or giving it to someone. When they see bills and financial duty they need to meet they end up using their income to satisfy those needs and at the end they end up not investing.I have a boss back then whenever she gets a job to decorate she will first buy all the equipment she will need and after the job is done she will still buy more equipment from her profits before using the remaining profits for herself at all,she is really a rich woman now because she first paid herself,she kept buying assets that will bring income for her and now she's enjoying all the money, imagine she used all her earnings then to buy things that are not useful to her business or just squandering the money,she won't have become what she is today. Pay yourself first-buying assets that provide income means you are rest assured that come what may in the future your financial life is safe. 3. Widen your financial life; Invest in different sectors, investing in one or two or different sectors involve risk,so its better you lower your risk of failing by investing in different things than increasing your risk of failing by investing in one business. To be successful involve risk so risk it well. The rich have investments all over different sectors because when one falls, another rises,so they are rest assured they won't go back to been financially unstable,but be educated about what you want to invest in. 4.stop living below your means; Alot of people assume that when you live below your means it is the sure way to prosperity,it only gives you a poor mindset because when you see the luxurious things you want to buy but cannot buy you feel pity for yourself instead of you to work towards achieving them, you keep telling yourself you can't afford it,the simple word "I cannot afford it" shut your creative financial mindset because you have believed you cannot afford it but when you rather say "how can I afford it?"
