Before I say I Do.

Jane looked at herself in the mirror for some minutes and after that, she stepped out of the restroom back into the club. As she got back into the club she could not hold herself from dancing due to the song the DJ started playing at that moment. Jane tried all she could not dance because she understood that she was already tipsy and could be doing herself more harm than good if she danced. All the while she was standing and looking around she was at war with her inner self. She tried all she could but the DJ even made it worse by playing yet another of her favourite song. At this point, Jane lost it and found herself dancing and whining at the centre of the stage. Her dancing style and moves became the centre of attraction especially for the guys because she was so good at using her backside to twerk, but in all the fuss Jane was aware that he was there hidden somewhere among the crowd, watching her as she danced. This was her biggest fear and it could have been easier for her to control if she was not tipsy. Jane could not stop herself from dancing because it was as if the DJ knew her and the type of songs she wanted. From one sweet song to another beautiful song and so on, she could not do anything to help herself out from that situation.

As twisted and turned to give her spectators another killer move, her eyes caught that of Kelvin in a splash. Even though she was aware that Kelvin might have come to the club, she did not want him to see her in such a situation because Kelvin wanted to marry her. They have talked about her lifestyle and the clubbing which Jane promised to curtail but Kelvin wanted her to stop it entirely because he felt the lifestyle made Jane look more like a wayward girl. As their eyes met, Jane felt his eyes pierce through her heart in a bid to make her understand that he was displeased. She knew that he must have been there just to confirm if she was still living such a life. Jane gathered her step with the tipsiness and walked through the crowd amidst cheers and taps both on her backside and on her chin. When Kelvin saw these things, he got angry and left the clubhouse without waiting for Jane who was hoping on getting the necessary help she could get because she was tipsy and might not be able to find her way home.

As she walked out of the door, she looked left and right but Kelvin was not in sight. She was devastated and did not know what to do. As she was almost losing hold of her legs, a man held her and was able to keep her back on her feet by allowing her to lean on him. She tried to move away from the stranger who obviously must have been watching her dance in the club but she could not. Immediately the man requested to take her home because it was already getting late, she accepted even though she does not know who the stranger was, she could not say no because she needed all the help she could get. As they drove off Jane did not know that Kelvin was waiting for her in his car which was parked just a few steps away from the entrance of the clubhouse. Kelvin, who was looking at Jane as she entered the man’s car and drove off with him, could not believe what he saw. He was not aware that Jane was tipsy and was unable to notice that his car was parked just a few steps in front of her. This made Kelvin conclude that Jane was living a wayward life. He drove off with his car in anger vowing not to continue with the wed plan.

As unlucky as Jane could be, she woke up naked the next morning in a hotel room with a stranger sleeping next to her. When she noticed that she was naked, she broke into tears of regret. The man woke up and told her not to cry that what they did last night was wonderful and he remember how she told him to make her feel like a woman when they entered the room. Jane could not imagine that she said all that and in that instance, her phone rang and it was Kelvin. She could not summon the courage to answer the call but when she looked at the phone the second time, she noticed that Kelvin has been calling her almost throughout the night and this made it even worse because she did not know what to say to him. She picked herself up from the bed and rushed off almost not well dressed because felt it would be better to meet with Kelvin instead of talking with him over the phone. As she rushed out of the room and ran straight down the staircase, she was shocked at whom she saw setting at the reception and just facing the staircase. She could not imagine how Kelvin managed to be sitting at the reception.

She could not find the courage to walk up to him because of the guilt of what happened with the strange last night. The only thing she found herself doing was just to cry bitterly as Kelvin stood there watching her as she could not make an extra step to meet him. Kelvin walked up to her and told her that he followed them to the hotel last night and that was how he found out where she was. She could not believe what she heard which made but Kelvin continued and told her all that he witnessed last night while watching her and the strange man book a room. He said he would have stopped them but when he could hear her telling the man to take her to the room and make her feel like a woman, he decided not to interfere because she made it seem as though she wanted to have sex with the strange man. Jane broke into tears and watched Kelvin walk out of the door without saying any other word to her. This shattered and she began to regret her decision of wanting to enjoy herself the last time **before she says I do.** Thank you for reading this fiction.
