If One is not Enough, Do you think Five Will?

Can you take a look at the title for the second time? What do you understand by that caption? I have seen a lot of life hacks that most people have applied in their daily living to help make life better but I have not seen a lot of people trying to understand man’s greatest challenge. You may have the highest degree in the academic world or you may be the best actor or the richest man in the whole universe, once you do not understand this important aspect of life, you run the risk of losing everything you have in a twinkle of an eye. Before I go in to discuss the vital points that I am going to underline in this article, I will like to ask us some pertinent questions. ***Have you been scammed? Did you at some point feel like pulling out of that deal before you were scammed? How was it possible for the scammer to get to you? Have you learnt your lessons or are you still ignorant of the glaring truth?*** I would want you to look at these questions critically even as you read through the whole article because I believe that the answer you seek, you shall find.   Each time I hear about stories of people who were either scammed or duped in a business, it makes me reflect on what could have made the victim so vulnerable that they did not notice that they were being scammed. The truth is that once you are in any shady deal, your instinct will be sending negative signals to your brain because it must have seen signs that all is not well but happens is that our insatiable desire for want and need will becloud our judgement which in turn will make it hard for us to look at things critically even before buying into the deal. This is the same thing that happens in relationships, once premarital sex becomes the order of the day both partners will always find it hard to make clear judgements borne out of a clear mind and heart. What they will always experience is making decisions beclouded by sexual feelings or emotions. This is also seen in our daily activities with others especially whenever we allow wants and needs to becloud our judgement. Some factors facilitate these unreasonable ways of thinking just as seen in a relationship where premarital sex is the order of the day.   ****Factors that becloud our Judgements when it comes to business dealings**** ·        **Get rich quick syndrome.** ·        **Insatiable desires.** ·        **Unrealistic lifestyle.**   ****Get rich quick Syndrome****

The truth is that anyone who allows this thought to lay a foundation in their heart will always fall prey to a scam. It is no magic that we see one person getting duped more than once. As a businessman or woman, you must try to put reason first in whatever deal you want to invest in. Do not always count your eggs even before they hash because some of the eggs may get rotten which will make it not to hash. This is also what happens when you count your profit even before going into any deal. Try as much as possible to consider the risks inherent in the business before investment. Even though we all know that in business, the higher the risk the higher the returns, that should not make you throw in your money without looking at the business plan very critically. Always have this understanding that this business investment is capable of going sideways. This will make you invest that which you can forfeit or endure in the case of scam or fraud.   ****Insatiable Desires****

Let us look at this scenario where somebody who does not have the money to fly first class yet this person decided to fly first class anyways, what do you think will be his financial story? You will notice that this person will always be in steady want and lack because he has kept his bag so high that he cannot retrieve it again. The ability to control our desires as humans make it possible for us not to get into troubles. If you want to get a dog, all you need to do is to give the dog that which he will not refuse even when there is a looming danger surrounding him. Human beings should not live like animals which can be influenced by what they want and need rather we should be able to evaluate the conditions behind whatever we are getting, in that way we will be able to see and know when there is a looming danger.   Remember that human wants are insatiable so it will be better to always stick with that which you need the most at every time. When we do this, we will be able to see every business opportunity and approach it with that which we can be able to offer at that particular time. When we do this, we won’t fall victim to any fraudulent deal even when it sounds so sweet and wonderful.   ****Unrealistic Lifestyle****

A lot of us have gone into what I call the **fast lane** in a bid to meet up with such a lofty and unrealistic lifestyle but at the end of it all, we find out that we were unable to actualize these dreams which have made us do unthinkable things. If you are earning $200 per month, would it not be a foolish idea for you to want to buy a Lamborghini at the end of the year when it is very clear to you that even if you end up not spending a dime from your monthly salary, you can only save up $10,400 every year without removing tax meanwhile the prize of the car you are dreaming about is over $200,000. If you save your whole salary for the next ten years without removing a dime from it which we all know is not possible, you will only be able to save $200,000 yet you will need to save more. Why then would you want to go into such a project instead of looking for a cheaper car to buy?   This is the biggest challenge we have as individuals and once we allow ourselves to build on these unrealistic projects, we will end up investing in any business without properly looking at the odds even when our minds tell us that we are all is not well. The best thing to do is to live a real-life in that way, what you cannot afford at the moment will not give you a sleepless night and you won’t be influenced by others easily. Think about it and save yourself from that scammer who is telling you about a sweet and mouth-watering deal that will fetch you millions of dollars even when you know that there is %100 chances of you being scammed.
