When all that was needed was just a call. I have always had a life free of sickness or any form of depression but everything happened as if the gate of hell was let loose on me. ***I don’t like to let friends know that I am sick or ill but this one comes with an extraordinary act of love from my forever friend.*** At first, I thought it was just a normal headache and fever that usually never lasted for more than a day or two but this one was more than I could imagine. The one thing I have learnt is that we will never appreciate the good health we enjoy until when sickness comes knocking at the door of our life. To those who have been following me before now, they would agree with me that I have been an active writer from the day I joined this platform and I have tried as much as I can to support other writers in my little way, that was when I was still in control of my health. The moment everything changed, I began to understand the saying; ***“Health is Wealth”…***
Each time I look at how the whole thing started and how it made me unable to write or carry out my daily online duties, I would appreciate good health more. You may not know that your body can shut down until when it happens. Right from when it started I thought it was just an ordinary thing until I began to lose the strength to even stand up from the bed or even do something for myself. Before I could know what was happening I was already swallowing drugs as if it was food. Gosh, I hated the feeling of belching and perceiving the smell of drugs from inside of me. I tried to write at a particular time but my eyes failed me, even the day I told myself that I was going to write not minding how I was feeling, that day became the day I got to understand the statement; ***the spirit is willing but the body is weak”…*** I became so sick that I could not enjoy or find anything pleasurable around me. I began to feel so bad for myself. Life as we all know cannot be lived when the body is plagued with sickness or any form of illness. I began to imagine what and how my followers, sponsors and even those I was sponsoring will be feeling by the time they stop seeing my post. I was pushed into a state of depression and sadness because I could not imagine what and how I will get back my activity level when I get better. Moreover, I was afraid that ****Rusty**** may not visit my posts again since I have been absent for so long. I was just afraid of losing all of you, my friends. On second thought, I began to imagine; **what if I don’t make it through this sickness?** **Who will tell my story, how will my friends and the platform know that one of them is no more?** It was in this sad moment that tears began to roll down my cheeks because it dawned on me that I am here alone and I may not be remembered even on the platform. These thoughts got me more depressed but on this particular day, something great and sweet happened. I have not called her to tell her how she made me feel and the strength her call gave me but I know that I owe her very dearly. It is one thing to have friends in a platform like ReadCash and it is another thing for those friends to care about you even outside the platform.
I may not be a wonderful friend to her but she surprised me by giving me millions of reasons not to give up I love her truly. @Princessbusayo is one of the friends I made right from the defunct **~~unptreend~~** and from that period till date she has been a friend and has always shown that she is one. We are not in any way related by blood but each time there is an opportunity for her to render any help she will do it without hesitation. To be frank, I was already feeling forgotten and rejected by friends until that fateful day. When I picked her call I could not make out who was calling because I was no longer using my big phone since I could not recharge it on the sickbed. I had to swap my sim card into a small phone just to receive calls and text messages. The moment she told me that she was the one and that she called because has not been seeing my posts on the platform, my joy knew no bounds. I was so moved emotionally that I became speechless and I could not say much. @Princessbusayo, I want you to know that you have a friend over here that is ready to do anything for you at any time, all you need to do is ask and I will be out of your service. You have won my heart and I love you my dear for your good heart and kind gestures. I have tried not to cry each time I think about this but I cannot help myself. Thank you very much for showing me such greater love. I believe that so many of us would have done the same if we had the opportunity to reach out to me and others who may have been inactive for such a long time. This brings me to the last part of this post. **What and how can we keep in touch with each other even outside this platform?** The above question is for every one of us who sees this platform as not just a place to earn money but a place where we can build a stronger community of people who will change the world with the help of **BCH.** I am just one person out of hundreds of others who might need just a call through a friend or someone from this platform in their trying times. We can change the narrative by proving to others that social media or the internet is not there to serve as a dividing force rather it is there to strengthen our unity and love. ****My Suggestion**** This is my humble suggestion. If we can have a place in our profile where we can drop our phone contact it will be nice and easy to reach out to any friend who is no longer active. This can be done in a way that it is only those who you accept as friends will be able to see your direct contact preferably a phone number. This is my humble suggestion and if it is already in place, please I would like to be directed to where it is. Thank you all and happy New Year, lastly, I want to state here and now that I am back and fully ok for the work ahead. Once more, @Princessbusayo you are a true ****OG.****

Wow! I think it´s in me to reach out to people especially when we are close. You made me have a reason to start blogging here and how could I forget you like that? We need to be conscious of our health the more and appreciate God for life. I am happy you are back and I am sure rusty will be back soon.
You've always been an amazing person... Glad I met you, KP.
Aww, thank you too
🤗🤗🤗
Thank you so much for lifting my soul with your call... I truly appreciate my dear.
I am sorry you had to go through all that and I am delighted to at least read from you again. I guess I would get your number from her so I can reach out to you. Health is wealth and only when we are challenged can we truly understand what we have been taking for granted. Stay strong, please.
Brotherly, you are a good man. Thank you for your support I do appreciate it. I am ok now and I hope never to miss a day on this platform.
I am so happy you are good now. More great days of good health for you in Jesus name. Well done, brother.
I am so sorry to read this. I've also noticed that you've been missing in action lately and we are happy to have you back. You are so blessed to have a friend like @Princessbusayo .
I like your suggestion, yes if we get worried we can directly contact them
Of course, that will be a great addition on this platform..
