What they did not Tell You

Finding yourself in a situation where everything seems to work against you will always make you apprehensive, fear and always in doubt of the unknown. Many times in life we do not understand how it all started but all we get to know and feel is the impact of it all. If you were told before now, I presume we would have been more careful and prepared for what is to come but nobody told us and now, we are facing it all alone. Before I continue, I will use this medium to extend heartfelt gratitude to someone who has given me a reason not to relent in my writings. Ok, for those who do not know, I got my first ****Sponsorship yesterday from**** @Pantera It was a joyous moment when I saw the notification and I accepted immediately without wasting time. I have always wanted to have a sponsor or sponsors on this platform because I believe that having them will encourage me more. I must confess that my joy knew no bounds because it was just a dream come through.   ****A quick Advice**** I just want to say this very quickly because I have seen a lot of people who do not understand that little drops of water make a mighty ocean. In this platform, I have learnt to value even the smallest amount of tip because any time someone or the bot tips me, it gives me the encouragement I need to do better. Don’t feel bad when you do not get a huge amount of tips on your article rather always feel good that you were able to write and people read what you wrote. For me, I would wish to have more people visit my article even if they do not tip me. ****Thank you so much**** @Pantera ****for your good heart and kind gesture, may you be rewarded a millionfold.**** ****Back to the issue of the day**** I started this article by pointing out a very significant point in human life that we most time ignore. This thing goes a long way to affect whatever we do as humans irrespective of our level of wealth, affluence and exposure. The last time I checked, I found out that we are all still fighting so hard to live by it but in all that we do, we end up not practising it. I know you will be wondering what I am talking about so I will go straight to open your mind towards that which I did not tell you earlier but before then, let me ask this question: ****have you ever thought of life after death?**** This is the very question I asked my friend on a particular day as we were seated in a lounge drinking. Don’t get it twisted, the truth was just that as we were drinking, he brought out his mobile phone to show me a video he saw on the internet and as I watched the video, I lost myself instantly because what I saw drew me back to the reality of life. Most times we only need such videos to understand that the life we live is a gift and not a right. Due to how horrific this video is, I cannot upload it to YouTube. **Mind you, the video is horrific and it is real please.** The video is about an accident where a truck driver smashed through a stop line of bikers and the rest was history.   ****The Truth I must tell you**** I believe you are thinking about so many things right now, ranging from ***what if I was one of those bike men or on the bike as a passenger, what if I just fought with my wife/husband, child/parent or neighbour before leaving the house?*** A lot of questions would be running through your mind right now if you had watched the video but if you think you cannot behold such a horrific event then, I will advise you to read this article with greater concentration. Some people will be wondering about the truth I intend to tell them. Well, I will tell you the truth in a very clear statement and easy to understand sentence, because I believe we owe it to each other, to be honest, irrespective of how painful it may sound to the person listening to it. In the video, you will understand that the truck driver lost hold of his breaks so what it means is that the family of those who died and those who sustained injury won’t be able to prosecute the matter in law court because the incident will be classified as an accident.   **The Truth** I intend to tell you is; ****how well do you prepare yourself for unforeseen circumstances?**** Looking at the incident, you will understand that the victims were all set for one task or the other because you could see from the video that many of them were dressed like people going out for the day’s job. Now, can you imagine yourself getting caught up in such an incident? Would you comfortable say that you are prepared for what was to come? We all know that no one plans or prepares to die unless someone wants to commit suicide. The truth is that whenever we leave our houses at any time with the intentions of going out we must understand that that may be the last time we will see or come back to the house. This is not just about going out alone, whenever you do anything in life, always remember that you may not have the opportunity to do that again because death may come knocking. Any time this discussion about death comes up, we tend to say that it won’t be our portion and most times this makes us forget that death is real and we must try as much as possible to prepare ourselves because we do not know when it will come.   I don’t want to get you all scared and afraid rather the reason for this article is for you to hear the truth once more because we act like we do not know that it will happen one day. When you get involved in a fight with your wife, husband, child, friend, neighbour or even a stranger, do not allow the anger of the fight to keep you away from making peace within the shortest time because you may end up not seeing that person again in life. See every opportunity as you one short to doing good so that you will always treat everybody the way you would want them to treat you. Just think about those who died in that video, if anybody had told them that they were going to meet death on their way to wherever they were going to they would not have believed it. Plan your life in such a way that you do not leave anything undone. I have told you the truth, what you do with it is solely in your hands.
