Random Usenet post of the day: --- Subject: 2600 carts for (possible) sale From: Scott Robert Sadusky <ss6r+@andrew.cmu.edu> Date: 1995/04/20 Newsgroups: rec.games.video.classic Organization: Carnegie Mellon, Pittsburgh, PA I have the following Atari 2600 cartridges. I will sell them if there seems to be enough of a demand for them; for the time being I just want people to make offers for them. This is _not_ an auction (yet). Surround Air-Sea Battle Adventure Canyon Bomber Combat Journey Escape Asteroids Concentration Backgammon Breakout Defender 3-D Tic-Tac-Toe --------- Vanguard Video Olympics RealSports Volleyball Football RealSports Football Warlords Space Invaders Hangman Piece O' Cake Raiders of the Lost Ark Slot Racers Space War ---------- Pac-Man Star Raiders Star Ship Street Racer Outlaw E.T. the Extra-Terrestrial Flag Capture Missile Command There are 32 games on the list. All have the original instruction manuals, but none have the original boxes. None are in 'mint' condition, but none have been lit on fire or thrown off a building either. If you're interested I can provide a more thorough description of the game's condition if you want to buy it. None of the games are 'Sears' cartridges. I have the keypad with the plastic overlay that came with Star Raiders. I also have some miscellaneous original Atari stuff as well (the console with all the connections and a cloth dust cover with the Atari logo, paddles, keypads, Atari trak-balls, etc.). Like I said, for the moment this isn't a serious auction. I don't really follow this newsgroup much, and I'm not a collector, so I have little idea of what market prices for these games are. Essentially, I'll sell it if the price you offer is greater than whatever ambiguous 'sentimental value' I place on the item (maybe a few bucks per cart, I don't really know). If this post generates enough interested responses, I might try selling everything I have, in which case I'll post a complete list. Send all inquiries to my e-mail account, ss6r@andrew.cmu.edu. Thanks. --- https://www.megalextoria.com/usenet_archive/rec.games.video.classic/msg252577.html
