Though Microsoft no longer wants to give computer-makers licenses for XP in favor of Vista, some computer-makers insisted and got XP licenses due to consumer demands. XP already has 5+ years of fine-tuning behind it (relatively long lifespan for an OS, due to Vista's delays), so it'll also take years of fine-tuning for Vista to catch up, most importantly in the business world.
