All of the photos in this set were processed in August 1966. The first photo made me think about how kids these days don't know what it was like to grow up without a portable computer (phone) in your pocket. And people my age don't know what it was like to grow up without a TV. I guess the only option was to lie on the floor and stare at a fan... Ok, my guess is that it was just really hot an there was no air conditioner. August would have been the hottest part of the year.
