Picturesque Burano! ❤️💚💙💜🧡 A really recommendable visit! The journey takes 45 mins approximately and the easiest ways of getting to Burano from Venice are the water bus. Burano has become one of the most visited islands for its brightly colored fishermen's houses. A legend is told that the houses were painted with bright and cheerful colours so that the sailors could see them on the gloomy and foggy days. Definitely worthwhile!

Let's Spritz! Enjoying a summer italian cocktail, a Campari Spritz. In Italy we have a strong tradition of "aperitivo" to whet the appetite and prepare the palate for a delicious dinner. Fill a nice wine glass about half full of ice. Pour in the Cava until just under half full. Add enough Campari to fill half the empty space on top. There's an invasion of many colorful butterflies. As I said, La Venaria Reale was a wonderful discovery. We hadn't booked a guide and I'm really sorry because there is a whole story behind these royal walls.
